The food is amazing, but the service is somewhat lacking. I’ve been to this place more than 10 times since 2022. Up until early 2023, the service was fair, but it has declined since then. I definitely have several favorite dishes here, but Im not sure if Ill come back due to the service.**1. Food:**- Great, with healthy ingredients and delicious flavors.- The ingredients are very fresh.- Sandwiches are always amazing.- The almond teddy bear used to be one of my favorites.**2. Drinks:**- The chai latte is great, with a perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness.- They offer a wide selection of teas, although they are tea bagged.**3. Location:**- Used to be great, but it has become noisy due to nearby construction.- Easy to get to.**4. Price:**- Reasonable.**5. Service:**- Inconsistent; it depends on the individual staff member. Personally, Ive had bad experiences.- It may not happen to all customers, but I’ve had several unpleasant encounters, including:- Not being asked for my order.- Having my order confirmed with a very unpleasant attitude.- Requests being dismissed (although eventually fulfilled).- Even though the vibe and quality of the food are perfect, Im always hesitant to return due to these unpleasant experiences.**6. Overall:**- The food is good.- The location is convenient.- The prices are reasonable.- The service can be controversial.- Therefore, I seldom visit this place after several unpleasant experiences, even though the sandwiches are amazing.
You definitely need to check this place! We went for brunch on Friday at lunch time and it was so busy! After eating we could understand why!Everything we had was delicious! Pancakes are so fluffy and shakshuka was so good with a lot of tomato!Smoked salmon sandwich was incredible and a very generous portion!Prices are very good for their quality and the portion size.Staff is super nice too!
Amazing toastini sandwich. Easy lunch without the fuss and great music. Definitely will be back!
This place does very authentic Israeli food. The Shakshuka was seasoned to perfection. My girlfriend had no trouble ordering anything Vegan with plenty of choices. The coffee is among the best of the upper east side. I order some immensely bold smooth Turkish coffee which is harder to come by in this area.Overall, I would recommend going out of your way for this place if you want a unique breakfast that still has some familiarity to typical NYC cuisine.
This cafe has great food, friendly servers, its kept very clean, and the interior and the decor really adds a lot to the atmosphere. Very relaxing to sit and eat and have a nice latte. Great place to grab brunch in the Upper East Side.
Maybe I ordered the wrong there here? Stopped in bc of the high rating on google. I ordered a muffin and an oat milk latte. Muffin was super dry. Coffee was bland and boring. Very busy place, so like I said maybe I need to give the breakfast another try, but definitely skip the muffin. Wasn’t worth it. Lots of people with laptops working and rolling calls on a Tuesday morning.
Cute Israeli brunch spot in the area. I live nearby and finally decided to explore this place. It has a nice small outdoor seating area with pink chairs.I recommend trying the salmon sandwich and pancakes. Also, their Chai latte is absolutely perfect for cold days. I feel like the place is slightly pricey.
4Months ago..I was just passing by, this place caught my eye in 2 seconds and all all all of my attention.. Ordered a Plain latte, then ordered a Caramel I dont remember he name but it was like a donut, The guy that helped me (WHO WAS REALLY REALLY AMAZING) recommended me to try the Strawberry one, so I asked for it, and then he gave me the last Nutella one also but as a Compliment, I loved it.. then I asked for the 2 Chocolat croissants, and he gave me 2 complimentary cookies. I wish I can go back soon to try something else, everything was deliciously tasty, fresh and good.. I loved this place, the aura, the location, and their people!! Really recommend it, and the best thing is that it is not pricey, is just PERFECT
I LOVE Ella’s! Moved into the neighborhood and found it when walking in search of good non-commercialized coffee. I wound up coming back (over and over again). The mocha is spectacular. They have excellent food as well, including hummus, avocado toast, pastries, etc. It’s become one of my go-to places in my new neighborhood.
Ella’s is such a wonderful UES coffee house.I always get a Cortado and their amazing beet salad. My daughter is obsessed with their sandwiches. Support local.
I wish I could give more that 5 stars! This cafe is amazing!!! We ate the hummus shakshuka, the toastini a cappuccino and Turkish coffee. They were all INCREDIBLE! Our lovely waiter also gave us burekas to try on the house. Wow!! I will be ordering them next time too. Can’t wait to come back, and so happy we found this place.
Great little gem coffee shop and breakfast spot
One of the only places in Manhattan where you can drink quality coffee and have fun and only because of the good coffee I will return many more timesI came back again and again to this place and why many people love the place and rightfully so, everything here gives a sense of fun and deliciousness
Lovely neighborhood spot in the UES. I love stopping here for a latte and light bite. Friendly staff, great food and can’t forget the cute pink cups❤️🫶
Wow! The espresso and brownie here is amazing! Service was prompt and friendly and attentive. Wish I could pack up this cafe and bring it home with me to California.
Wowwww this place is so good! Green shashuka is outstanding (also the waiters fav!) as is the Malawah (pancake), and the Cascaval bureka 🤤love the vibe on a Saturday afternoon, nice outdoor tables too
Had breakfast here yesterday with a friend and it was sublime. We were also (unintentionally, still half asleep) ‘those guys’ and brought in our own coffees from another place and the owner was very nice about the whole thing. Got the shakshuka, fabulous! Would absolutely come here again, what a cozy perfect spot for the neighborhood.
Will keep coming back here for the great food+coffee and excellent service. I love yogurt and granola bowls. I’ve had a hard time finding a place that uses fruit that tastes really fresh & flavorful, yogurt that isn’t bland or too sweet, and granola that is just as addictive as here at Ella’s! I was told it was homemade, no surprise it’s delicious.
Wow! If you want to feel like you’re in israel got to Ella’s. I was craving for jachnun (Yemenite Jewish pastry) and I was very pleased to hear that they make it in house so I got it and loved it (comes with a side of Israeli salad). I also took lavender oat milk latte which was good. Before I left I decided to do a take out of Cholent (Hamin is a traditional Jewish stew). Service was incredibly friendly and welcoming and it seemed like they know everyone there so I have to go back there again .
A go-to favourite to set up my laptop to work there for an hour or two, or meet up with friends for a glass of wine. Great service, great atmosphere 🫶🏻
I feel like this cafe captures something becoming rare in NY. A cozy spot that also has warm and kind staff. All the people that work here are so polite and warm it makes coming here better :)I love the lattes and baked goods. Its all make with ♡
Delicious food. Fresh ingredients elevate the taste. Looking forward to trying the other items on the menu.
This is the loveliest cafe in the neighborhood. The food, drinks, and pastries are extremely high quality. The toastini sandwich is my favorite :). There’s a lovely warmth and sense of community. Kind, excellent service. Patience with strollers. A true neighborhood gem that brings lots of joy! Happy New Year!
The food and drinks were very well made and customized to my liking, which was great. The staff were so kind, especially our barista, Mica. She was so polite, funny, helpful, and catered to our requests for our drinks. I ordered a cortado, and it was beautifully done by her. The decor is relaxed and the environment is welcoming.
The place is amazing! Good food good vibes and great peopleI’ll go back
Love Ella’s! Some of the best coffee in the neighborhood and they have delicious food too. In the summer they have a great mint lemonade drink that is so refreshing. The team is always so welcoming and warm.
Best cafe on the UES!! We go here every Saturday - the food is amazing, best staff and cute atmosphere! Get the tostini - but really can’t go wrong with any of their food. We have a stroller and while the place is small, they always find a way to make it work. Love this place!!
The BEST cafe in Manhattan. The food is UNBELIEVABLE the staff is incredibly kind - feels like the ideal home environment. Endlessly grateful I get to live a block away from this place!
After hearing so much about Ella’s we finally made our way there. It’s our new favorite - the food (especially the pancakes!) and the staff are amazing. Such a friendly spot, we’ll definitely be back…often!
I recently visited Ella’s Cafe and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast was delicious and the service was top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that my dining experience was enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing breakfast. I highly recommend Ella’s Cafe to anyone looking for a great brunch spot with excellent service.I will definitely be back again!!!
My favorite place in NYC. Great coffee, amazing food, fabulous vibes and most importantly amazing people. Coming into Ella’s feels like home. My most recommended spot in the neighborhood and look forward to going every weekend!
The rudest server ever! The woman who works on the afternoons! Also, they never pay attention on my order!!This place used to have a better service!
Delicious food, amazing coffee, and the best vibes! The staff is so kind and inclusive. Love the environment. Will continue to go here forever♥️
What a wonderful gem, Im already planning my return visit! I had a seasonal ginger oat chai latte that was truly out of this world. The serving was generous, and I didnt feel robbed (ahem ⭐️$ up the street). I was all set to get a to-go yogurt, and since I was dining in, they informed me I could get a fresh yogurt in a bowl. My only regret was not noticing the food menu RIGHT NEXT TO ME until after I placed my order. I cant wait to return and try the shakshuka.I also loved that there was a lot of seating, and a shelf with books, so you could sit and enjoy the coffee while reading.
Beautiful space, extremely friendly staff, amazing coffee and a good selection of tea. Good space to work, nice menu of food. Will definitely revisit!
This place is super quaint inside. Came for breakfast w a friend on Sunday around 11am. You order at the counter and then seat yourself. We were able to snag a seat right away but when we left at noon there was a line. The food was hot and came out quick. I had the mushroom quiche and even tho a bit crumbly, it was perfect and I wanted to stuff it in my face but …manners. Thanks for having us!
My new favorite weekends morning spot. The breakfast was fantastic and very decent portions, coffee was great and the pastries were the highlight of it all. Made to perfection with unique flavors. On Saturday morning they offer Jachnoun, a Yemenite dish that is very hard to find (at least a quality one). Owner was pleasant and service was very good despite how busy it was. The music was an unexpected but very welcomed surprise. Would have given it a 10 if possible.
Thank you for the amazing breakfast all day
The Israeli food was really interesting to try. Although I had no idea what to order, the staff were very helpful with recommendations and specials. Packed out with locals and families looking for a nice brunch spot it’s definitely worth a look in if you’re around.I did come for the coffee and unfortunately the only good thing about it was that it was strong, that’s where the description ends.
Lovely cafe/bistro with plenty of seating. Its so nice to have European style cafes (i.e., serving coffee, food and alcohol and open in the evening) where people could meet to catch up or just simply read a book or work. The oat milk latte was good. The menu looks interesting with good vegetarian options and I definitely will be back to try the food.Food update: everything was good, soup of the day (lots of veggies), quiche (fluffy crust unique from most quiche), mushroom flatbread, and the eggplant pita
Got coffee here. So quiet. Great music.
I love Ellas Cafe! A wonderful addition to the neighborhood. The food and coffee are always delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is always clean, cozy, and welcoming. Glad to be a loyal customer :)
Such a cute cafe. Owner is so kind in the front. Knows a lot of people by name. Food is delicious. Highly recommend.
Such a wonderful cafe and hidden gem on the UES! Their coffee is excellent, as are their quiches and sandwiches. Highly recommend!
Best Brunch in New York! The food is amazing and the service was excellent!
Sabich Sandwich was really tasty. Customer service was good and I liked the ambience. Will come back again.
This is my favorite place every time I go to New York. It has a great pizza a wonderful wine list and most of all it has a great atmosphere
Delicious babka and coffee
Friendly customer service and great neighborhood spot. Delicious lattes with tons of unique and great flavor options!
This place is one of my top three favorite coffee places in Manhattan. Since my boyfriend introduced me to this place, I havent stopped craving the Toastini sandwich! I highly recommend it! (with a chai latte) The food is amazing! The toastni comes with extra sauce on the side and a Greek salad. The service is always good here. Also, (a plus for me) I love how you always see families, kids, dogs, etc. As a foreign, far from home, I enjoy being surrounded by this Atmosphere. Again, highly recommend it.
Ellas Cafe Espresso & Wine Bar offers a cozy corner for a coffee break or a casual bite. Their Toastini stands out with its crispy, sesame-seeded crust and gooey cheese center, paired with a crisp, fresh salad and a zesty green sauce. The coffee never disappoints and is a testament to the baristas skill. Its an ideal spot for those seeking quality food and a relaxed vibe in the city.
It’s always a pleasure to visit Ella’s! It’s a neighborhood fav, every time I walk in here I feel a sense of community! I love everything I have eaten here and keep coming back to try more!!!
Great food and customer service. Their sufganiyot and gingerbread oat latte was amazing!
Its a nice place. The chai latte is so good🤤
Best coffee in the UES.Daniel is the best barista.Am Israel 🇮🇱 Hai
I really enjoyed the cafe. Good quality coffee and teas and amazing pastries. The chocolate chip muffin was very tasty and it’s cozy there with good service and staff. Highly recommend.
The best coffee on the UES! Amazing, fresh food and delicious pastries, and always so nice and accomodating to families with young children!
Such a great local spot - Owner/staff are so kind. 10/10
You NEED to check out this spot! If you want super fresh food that is FULL of flavour, you will love this place. The best brunch dishes and the coffee is great too. The staff are so lovely and you can tell how much care goes into the food. Definitely recommend! Had a brilliant experience here.
I love Ellas!! They have the best food, service and drinks!
A cozy and busy local joint. Good espresso and delicious sandwiches. (Shakshuka and pastries are not their strong suit though)
Really good coffee and pastries are excellent. What else would you ask for! These guys really know how to work puff pastry and filo dough! We got the.Mushroom burek. They heated it up for us and it was nice and crispy with a filling that was not overly seasoned or salty. We also got a sweet pastry which was a guava cheese puff pastry and a rugula. The latter was not as good as the other two, but everything was really good! The staff is super friendly and super fast. I highly recommend!
Mushroom bureka is phenomenal. Shakshuka is also tasty. Sabich sandwich.Cuidado con la salsa verde, es picante!On-site personnel are all professional, kind, and meet you with a smile.
I had breakfast at Elks on Saturday morning and I’m definitely going back. Great sandwiches good atmosphere beautiful vibe I’m in.
We were appealed by the crowd in front of Ella’s Cafe Espresso & Wine Bar and decided to give it a try. The decor is adorable, bright and cozy with plenty of indoor & outdoor seating.Their service still needs to be improved and the staff was not familiar with what they serve currently even though the options were limited. We asked about the flavor & filling in their pastries, but they didn’t know and answered with totally different items. We got their scone & raisin roll to go since we already had brunch that day. We reheated both pastries the next day and they were decent, especially the scone, but the texture was not as delicate as we expected.
Came here the other day to take an exam for grad school and eat a snack. The staff were extremely friendly and family-like which is very unique so I’ll be back. The toastini was amazing and the passion fruit tea drink, my server forgot it but gave me a free rugelach to apologize. I’m not giving 5 stars because the wifi wasn’t working for awhile, I eventually was able to get back on the wifi.
Great food, amazing service! Absolutely love it
One of the best cafes in town!Super friendly staff
Came in for breakfast. They have the best tea-- Harney & Sons.
I had a disappointing experience at this bar and restaurant. The place is very small, and it felt like the staff was rushing us throughout our meal. Waitresses and even managers would take away dishes before we were finished, clearly eager to free up the table for the next customers. It felt like we were being constantly watched, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. Definitely not the kind of atmosphere youd expect for a relaxed meal. Overall, it was quite unpleasant.
Tried all of the burekas and they were tasty. My favorites were spinach and potato. They were all undercooked though which wasn’t great.
I think this is the BEST coffee shop on UES. Amazing coffee, service and their pastries are so fresh and huge variety. Music is perfectly not loud so you can have a conversation. They also have a great food menu for entire day. I come here twice a day sometimes. Love it, hope it stays here for a while!
Very nice and beautiful coffee shop in the middle of upper east, very nice vibe and the food was amazing…
Yummy healthy food!Great coffee!
Great spot to sit... if you can snag a table!
Everything on the menu is phenomenal and the staff is so kind. I dream of the toastini. Thank you Ella’s!!
At the cafe almost every weekend and the experience never disappoints. staff are always super sweet and the food is amazing! black iced tea is my go to :-) perfect study spot. 💗
Very nice place to stop by and relax for a light bite to eat and sit for a bit.I got an iced latte and sandwich here which were very good and way above average relative to other coffee shops nearby. I really like the Israeli / Jewish decor as well. Makes it feel a lot more intimate and homey. Staff is also very nice.Would recommend trying this place out for a quick bite and/or a nice place to have a breakfast/lunch/brunch. The sandwiches were really, really good.
Place is great! Fast and fantastic service with a modern interior! Great Cappuccino!
I go to Ella’s café a lot and is my favorite in the city. Staff is amazing, food and drinks as well.I’m French and very picky! I highly recommend it.Bravo Ella
Staff, Energy, decor and food is amazing!Weather your popping in for a coffee- parking for a work space- or meeting a friend for an after work beer this is the place to goGet the Toastini ..its perfectthis place reminds me of my grandma and my childhood
Amazing! Couldnt recommend more!
This is one of the very few places Ill miss when I move out of the city. The staff is wonderful, the food is wonderful, the coffee is wonderful. Just pure happiness here.
This place is in my top 5 of coffee shops, specially if you get the owners to do your coffee it’s an elevated experience! The avocado toast and the croissant with egg was truly very very good as well. Couldn’t recommend it enough!
Friendly staff. Yummy Quiche. Place for laptop.
The best shakshuka, iced lattes, and croissants. Our favorite local spot in the UES to get breakfast. Neighborhood staple. The team that works here are amazing and kind.
Awesome little israeli coffee shop with fantastic drinks and delicious treats! Daniel is really cool and they have a great vibe in the shop. Worth stopping by for a delicious cup of coffee!
Cute little place. Good hummus bowls. Lots of different teas & coffees. Friendly staff.
Amazing Israeli pastries and great coffee at a good price. Cute, bright cafe seating with tables, wall art, bar stools, and a couch.
One of the best hot chocolates i have ever had
The place is so lovely! Food is fresh, had shakshuka for brunch, salmon sandwich and granola with berries. Everything is delicious and the service is great. Local gem.
Lovely cafe that is fit for working or a date inside or outside. Full coffee bar and a big menu with a lot of Israeli fare. A great neighborhood corner spot!
Love this place! Such a cute and charming coffee shop. The food was great.
OMG 😳 this is a GREAT spot!
Best coffee in NYC!!
Got an iced latte to go, and it was a full 16oz cup of cold milk with espresso poured over top. I can barely taste the coffee, the ratio is completely off and on top of that it costs $5.99 before tip… for the price I expected a much better made coffee. I would’ve much rather have been served a smaller drink that more closely resembles a latte instead of an entire cup of milk with some espresso for color.
Best cafe!
Cute environment, friendly staff, good drinks. Nice small cafe with a more traditional approach to coffee versus speciality. If you like Italian espresso this is great!
Best shakshuka in Manhattan?? Very possibly! Amazing little gem of a place, incredible food, great service and beautiful location. Would highly recommend!
So good! Got a recommendation from a local friend and so glad I walked very far to taste the best pita I’ve ever had 🥖👌🏻
Coffee and food is incredible. Such high quality. Get the Dan Dan sandwich. Appreciate the vegan options.
Great service and had seats outside as well!Iced coffee with milk ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐- perfectly crisp- loved it, wasnt bitter at allChocolate chip cookie ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best coffee shop in upper east side 💯
Amazing place with amazing food! Inside it is cute and cozy, and the people working here are super friendly. The food is delicious and they are pet friendly!
The owner was extraordinary! He made you feel magical!
Literally the best place in the neighborhood. The food is spectacular and fresh and everything from baked goods to breakfast is incredible!
Not authentic.
Love this place
Delicious eggs, sandwiches, drinks and desserts!
Love this place! Honestly, the absolute best breakfast in the Upper East. Besides the team is always so friendly and fun!!
Highly recommend the Chai Latté, it has a rich flavor and so freshly roasted delicious
My favorite café in the city the food, the drinks the stuff just amazing.
Came here on a Sunday, and it was so busy. However , the customer service was awesome, the staff was so accommodating, and the food was fantastic. I’d recommend the toastini! Coffee is top notch. This is my new local stop!
The ues was in desperate need of a good coffee spot. The way they foam their drinks is an art form. The staff is super friendly & the food is delicious too. Plenty of seating to work while enjoying their amazing espresso.
Great afternoon spot for coffee and pre dinner drinks(had the Israeli cab sauv)...lovely staff and atmosphere
Great coffee and delicious food! And excellent service as well. The Toastini sandwich was really tasty and huge portion, I highly recommend! Will definitely be back.
Very good sandwiches, they need a new photo for Google, the papered-over window makes it look like they are closed, which they happily are not.
Iced chai latte was exceptional. I got the croissant sandwich with eggs — you have a choice of egg and cheese or tomato and mozz. Only an extra $2.5 compared to the cost of a croissant. I hope they start doing shakshuka on weekdays!
Overall atmosphere was good and there are quite a few outlets. Just that the WiFi was really not working and the lady next to me told me it usually does not work. If you have your own hotspot it’d not be an issue. Music was indeed slightly loud for anyone who wants to work there.
Great coffee and tasty breakfast!
Stopped in for a coffee and was impressed! Will return for food which looked delicious.
Excellent place for breakfast or a coffee :)
Awesome cafe. Couldn’t ask for greater food, coffee, and music/ambiance.
Been here a couple times and it’s always been fine.Today, I went to get some work done and enjoy a pastry and coffee. After less than an hour, I was asked to move or leave to make room for others eating. Clearly there were certain VIPs that will get a seat at the expense of others.
I ordered a cappuccino which was made with poor quality coffee and tasted sour. Would not recommend
Toastini is amazing!
Horrible service, waited 30mins for my breakfast. While everyone that came after me got their meals.
Great Barista!!
Ive been visiting every so often during the early wee morning hours so that I could wind down a bit before starting work. On separate occasions, Ive often ordered their iced lattes, cold brew, and avocado toast, of which all have been extremely good. The avocado toast comes with two slices, as well as pickled onions and a side cucumber/tomato salad. Most of the dishes have a Mediterranean influence. I plan to visit and recommend often when Im in the area--I just need to stop by for lunch sometime soon. The morning staff are always efficient and kind. Prices are fair as well for what you get.
One of the tastiest coffee in NYC
Really lovely Cafe with excellent selections and kind staff!
Great food and great company. I enjoy coming here on a regular basis.
My favorite place.
Best food, I love their beet salad and avocado toast, also the staff are friendly and kind
Lovely spot for coffee! Lots of room inside, very friendly
Addicting shakshuka, honestly best cafe in New York
Great Cafe for pastries and small plates. Really good coffee.
Cute and spacious! Incredible food and drinks. What a gem!
Best craft coffee and light fare Brunch in the area!
Amazing coffee and wonderful customer service. 10/10 would come again!
Cute spot to work or catch up with a friend, coffee and sandwiches were good!
Avocado toast was soggy and tasted only of sweet pickled veggies. Latte tasted burnt. Both my partner and I left nauseous and still hungry. It was fairly busy for a Sunday morning, so we were surprised by the lack of quality. There are better breakfast places in the area.
Visited NYC for the weekend and stopped in at Ella’s 3 times. Service was good and the atmosphere was cozy. Cappuccino was excellent, blueberry muffins fresh and their burekas tasty. Would definitely stop by again next time in the city.
Great place for a quick and yummy lunch on the UES! It’s always reliable and always good 😊
Loved their coffee, very friendly staff with cute cafe interior!
Spent the week on UES, originally had intended to try a different cafe each day but found ourselves returning here a few times. Imaginative Israel menu with interesting twists, know how to make a cappucino, and always service with a smile. Dont miss!
Great service and food. I’ll definitely come again.
Literally would not recommend. rude & unpleasant experience for my first time. i ordered take out, instructed what i wanted. i had a feeling they took my order wrong, i checked my food, good enough it was incorrect. i asked for an exchange & when i had to wait over ten minutes. i had to go, i left and when i came back, they had my food, i didn’t want it anymore & asked for refund. when the cashier/barista tried to figure out to refund me. she spoke to other barista “should we refund that one?” and giggled “nahhhh nope no” in front of my face. that was ultimately rude. definitely not a safe or happy space for me, even though the place looks lovely. too bad it was rude people that made everything ugly. very oppressive and not friendly.
Delicious fresh sandwiches. Seating outside and inside. Good not great coffee.
Beautiful, clean, and great food. Would be happy to return!
Very cozy Israeli style all-day cafe with tasty breakfast options and great coffee. One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood!
The best food the best friendly staff !!! A+++
Excellent espresso coffee pastries and Israeli food
Good honey oat latte
Had Israeli breakfast and latte. Both were good. Not expensive, very tasty and caring staff. A good place for a healthy breakfast.
Finally found an actuality great cup of coffee on the upper east side!!!!! the pita sandwich is amazing definitely recommending “the gal sandwich “
Neighborhood staple. Wonderful local cafe, offering excellent coffee and a variety of delicious pastries. Great vibe and decor inside with friendly staff. I’ll be back to try more eats!
Very cute cafe with authentic Israeli food options and great coffee (they also serve wine altho I haven’t tried it). Nice happy ambience.
Best cafe ever. Amazing espresso and the food is great too. Toastini (sandwich) is my personal favorite. Pastries are great too!
Cute gem. New York do beach....in the city
Love the coffee here
Best coffee on the Upper East Side!! Food is excellent!
A must visit place.High quality coffee.Amazing middle eastern pastries, will come back to try some more.(And fun music playing)
So yummy!!
Very cute Israeli place. Not very busy (Sunday afternoon). Food is good.If youre looking for a cheese burekas, or israeli Aromas ice coffee (not on the menu, just ask for it) - thats the place! The stuff is very nice.
Love it here! Great people and coffee!
Great food and coffee
Amazing food!!! Best coffee in town ❤️Dates, mushrooms flatbread is surprisingly good! You have to order it but be careful, it’s addictive 😉
This cafe’s atmosphere is great and their staff was super friendly! When I walked in, lots of people were sitting around sipping their coffees, reading a book, etc. Loved it. My fiancé wasn’t crazy about the espresso (he said the beans were a bit over roasted), but the menu looks delicious and we’ll certainly be back to try the food!
Fantastic food and quality coffee. Their space is bigger than you think, so there’s usually plenty of seating and people with laptops during the day. Also a few tables outside on a nice day.
Great place, great service, and most importantly - delicious!!I enjoyed it very much, highly recommended
Thats a unique coffee shop! very fresh coffee:) REAL borkaus pastry and most important its fresh! I love the concept and very friendly as well.
Very fresh pastries here, and very good coffee too.Staff are friendly and efficient .
This is a go to place for me. Food, atmosphere, service. I haven’t had a bad experience yet.
Great Oat Milk Latte. Shakshuka wasnt the most authentic but still delicious. Overall nice local vibe with friendly staff, although the service was a little slow.WiFi is very reliable for working and studying. Just note that music is a little loud.
Great food. Mallawach is delicious, burekas are scrumptious not to mention the shaksuka.
Amazing food, great place! The Israeli food there is so good!
Super friendly staff, big portions, and delicious food!
The best chai latte in the UES.
Always smiling and giving Family vibe ! The food is a bonus 🙏🏼
Tiramisu is top notch! So is the service!
Best espresso and choco-croissant Ive had in NYC. Pastries are truly outstanding and staff is very warm and friendly.
Great neighborhood place for coffee, breakfast/lunch definitely coming back at least once a week.😊
Even that wait is long for food it is worth it because food in here is delicious.
Free water with lemons! No no no...this is a cute cafe spot. mocha was good 👍.
This place is amazing. Amazing service and food. Coming back every time I’m in the city !
Just dropped by for my first time and the owner was unbelievably kinda and the coffee is DELICIOUS. Super dark and rich for a great price!
The kindest staff and most delicious pastries! The chai latte is life changing!
Very friendly, they gave us a free chai bc we spilled ours 🔥
Warm friendly atmosphere, great cappuccino, good selection of pastries and sandwiches. We’ll be back for the Israeli breakfast.
The best .
Nice cozy Cafe with good selection of food and drinks.
Delicous iced coffee!
Best coffee in Manhattan!
Food is very good and the ambiance is great
Best coffee on the ues!!
