We visited next door and passed by this gem. A full blues band played on stage like a concert just for your spoil child self. Must go check it out. Real gooood band and almost out of a movie.

We went to jam night for drinks only and enjoyed great friendly services and true local jam performances. It’s such a cool place for those who love music and want to get out of the touristy scene!

If you like live music, great atmosphere and above average bar food- this is the place. The salmon dinner, gumbo were especially good. Chris is a great bartender.

Fairly standard bar, but has live blues musicians which add a whole new level of chilled vibe to the place.Didnt eat, just sat at the bar.

It was the closet blues joint by our hotel. We lucked out because it is a really cool blues joint. Very nice people working there. Nice bar, Carolina was our bartender and was fantastic.Joe Tiano was playing in a trio and was just what we needed.Ample parking on the street after 6pm. Insert sarcastic tone.We picked up their 20 wing happy hour special and was very satisfied.

I went to catch a blues show while in town. Great place and the staff were all super friendly. I did not eat but heard the food was great.

I came here for a couple of drinks to celebrate a co-workers upcoming retirement. Plus, he was performing with his band during happy hour. This place is very cute with great entertainment. The staff was friendly and the drinks were great. I will be sure to stop by again in the future for lunch as they seem to have a pretty good menu.

Bartender was rude, she interjected in my conversation. After moving to a table I felt rushed, my glass was removed before I was done with my drink. First time at a blues bar, I rather stick to the Jazz bars instead.

Traditional bar with a little stage and live music. High chairs, bar seating. Huge drink selection and also good food. Bartender was friendly as well.

Lovely bar. Defo worth a visit. The live music was great. Bar manager sorted us out with great seats when they became available after we were initially seated further towards the back.Worth a go! We were there all evening and had a few drinks and food, spent just over 100$. Good value.

Absolutely NO. Unnecessarily hostile management. While waiting for service and a group of friends for 20 minutes they rudely snatched my charger out of the wall and demanded I leave because I had no drink in my hand on a busy Saturday night. I dont recall having found a bar with music that was so gush-worthy, but Stitch is one. Despite being local, I was not familiar with it and went to see a friends band play there. What a great find! A beautiful space with a long bar staffed by talented and friendly bartenders, a great stage area supported by an awesome sound engineer who was constantly tweaking the levels to ensure the best possible experience, and great music. If that isnt enough, I hadnt had time to grab dinner so ordered some food expecting it to be bar food, only to find it to be high-end restaurant quality. Down to the fact that they offer Guldens mustard instead of the crappy yellow stuff. I mean, who expects to be able to sub the fries that come with a burger for a fresh salad with various greens, ripe tomatoes, shredded carrots, freshly cut cucumber, and a delicious vinaigrette - in a bar? And for NYC, the drinks and especially the food were all reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

The onion rings are to die for. The20 wings for $15 is plenty for two people and damn tasty.

I was in town and needed a place to meet up with friends. Someone suggested this place and we had fun. We shared some apps and this Malibu & pineapple was so delicious. I would return for sure. Service was excellent!

Was nice place , with classic blues decor and memorabilia. We held a private party there with my company for holidays and it was great. Food is great,we had delicious sliders and more. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

As of the time Im writing this, I got here an hour and a half ago and already I love it. The music is awesome, the service is great, the food (Mac & Cheese with a side of Coleslaw) is on another plane of existence (in other words, absolutely excellent). Would definitely recommend.

Music was good, liked the old fashioned bar. It was a really cool place, sad to hear its closing. On the service tip, not so pleasant ...the bartender was odd, took forever, just impersonal person to be behind a bar. Then gratuity was added lol, the bartender totally ruins vibe of place but never my vibe.

We came to listen to blues, when we arrived the performer was wrapping up his set at about 930pm, we were told by the staff the next act was going to start at 11pm, when that didnt happen the performer told us that they would not be going on until 12, and that they did not play blues. I spoke to the manager to articulate my disappoi.tment that a blues bar was not playing blues, the manager was rude and argumentative. I would not go to a country music bar and expect to hear blues. The staff was very nice and the waiter was actually apologetic and professional. The manager decided to come back over and start an argument about the bands being posted online for a month, my only point was to provide customer feedback regarding a customers expectations when coming to any buissiness the purports to offer a specific service, thats all. I paid my bill, did not ask for any discounts or freebies, as a manager he was completely unprofessional and honestly should not be in customer service of any kind. The location, staff and atmosphere was great, the music was not blues and that was disappointing, the manager gets a zero stars and we will never come back.

What a great place. If you are in the area you should visit just for Pumela. She is one of the friendliest bartenders and she is so funny. My friend and I visited in the afternoon to grab to go lunch (the beyond burger, add grilled onions, mushrooms and avocado, is stupid good 🤤) and pumela was so welcoming and just a great conversation. We came back later that night for her recommendation to see the band jam. Definitely will go again if we make it back to NY.

Came here on a whim after my game of 1000 boxes and I was pleasantly surprised. The friendly host welcomed us and gave us a table and our server gave us the best service and checked in frequently to make sure everything was okay.Had the buffalo and ginger honey wings with sweet potato fries and everything tasted good.Drinks were tasty and strong too. A good experience overall and I’d come back.

Great music venue playing live music most nights. Nice atmosphere, good food and drinks, friendly service. We saw some fantastic bands playing. Highly recommend a visit

I had a political opinion the bartender did not agree with. She tried to kick me out of the bar, stated I was being disruptive towards customers, however, I did not engage in a conversation with anyone other than my friend and her. This bartender was the only person who seem disrupted by my political opinions; interjecting in the conversation I was having with my friend and arguing with my political views. At one point this bartender told securitynext time you see her dont let her in.The bartender seemed to be on a power trip, even stating she owned the bar. employees should never argue with a customers. I had a absolute horrible experience, I have never been kicked out of a bar for expressing my political views. I have to wonder, if I were a white woman would this bartender dare take offense to my political views and try to have me kicked out of the bar? As a new resident of the community it was disheartening to have such a horrible experience based on my personal views on politics. My receipt says the servers name is Pumla - an employee should never crucify a paying customer for their personal beliefs.

Nice crowd drink and live music

I am quite fond of these delectable and flavorful wings. They were generously coated in sauce, yet maintained a satisfying crunch. The ambiance of the restaurants bar was relaxed and inviting. The waitress and bartender demonstrated a high level of expertise and friendliness.

Came here for drinks and the advertised Happy Hour. You have to read very carefully what the happy hour menu has and remember that well alcohol will be used at all times.I had straight beers and normal menu items, while some of us tried HR drinks and those where not good at all.Looks like it has music at night and the place could be hopping. I would go again, but forget happy hour

Great music on a Monday night. Easy to find a spot at the bar. There was a bit of a waiting list by 930pm . Food and Drink prices reasonable and typical for NY. Service charge gets included in the bill so dont double tip..

Was a great experience. Waitress/bartender was attentive, funny and kind. We met friends there from Germany and they enjoyed the spot as well. Wings were definitely delicious, drinks were reasonably priced and the atmosphere was just right.

Huge bar with an average beer selection. They also have a huge selection of other liquor though I cannot say Ive tried cocktails here. The staff is super friendly and the food is better than expected for a bar. It gets pretty crowded after work, since it appear to be mostly a commuter bar. Only thing that I would improve on is staying open regularly since they tend to close quite a bit for private functions or if the place is empty.

Excellent bar with great blues vibe! Live music every day (except Tuesdays) from 7:30 PM to around 11:00 PM. They have house band members and then they call out everyone who wants to jam.

This food is so good, I HIGHLY recommend the spinach and artichoke dip. Me and my friends were snails after this meal, we were so full we could barely walk. I am going again 🙏🏾

One they advertise that it is live blues which is not occurring in this establishment. And two my sister and I felt extremely uncomfortable by the bartenders staring at us the entire time we were there. Especially some bald guy that was talking about to the other employees.

The drinks were so good! The price vs drink size was okay and it wasn’t too packed when me and my co-workers went after work. I definitely enjoyed it!

Attended their annual Halloween party and had a great time. Despite the large crowds of people at the bar, the bartenders and staff were warm, friendly and courteous- which is hard to find in a bar nowadays. Im very much looking forward to my next visit!

Good service with friendly staff. The only reason for 3 stars is that it used to be my favorite place to go for wings. Ive been waiting over a year for them to reopen and finally got some, but they arent as good as they used to be. Sauce seems different. No longer the go-to wing spot. Only place my card was used and brought out of my apartment on 1/6 was this bar 2 hours after leaving I found 2500$ worth of charges for online stores. I called the bar and without checking anything immediately said it wasnt them. One of their waiters/waitresses took down my card number and used it and they r ok with that. Do not eat here their staff will take your money.

I went here for New Years Eve singles party. Opened bar was from 8:00-9:00PM. I get there 7:48PM and don’t get drinks until 8:20PM after I check my coat. The lines were long and the ladies were able to jump to the beginning of the line before all the men. Which Is typically standard. There were not many ladies there anyway.Then I get my drinks. At 8: 53PM I am at the bar waiting for my drinks. Then I am served and the time is 9:03PM and I was charged about $21 for two drinks. I ordered a drink and my friend got one as well.In addition to that the entire singles event had 75 percent men. Most of the men who presented themselves well. From what I see and heard the girls were from out of country staying here a week.Disappointing experience being ripped off on the opened bar. Which is advertised for an hour, which is really more like thirty minutes at best. Also disappointing seeing so many guys inside the place. At first my friend and I were waiting to get in we actually questioned if we bought tickets by mistake to a gay event.

This is one on my favorite after work spots. JJ and Carolina make amazing drinks. Everone is friendly and great customer service. The wing special for $15 is really good. Suggestion: ask for plain wings well done and get the sauces on the side. You will NOT be disappointed. I highly recommend this bar. Nothing but feel good vibes.

I came in for new years eve and it was super busy at first. I was concerned and thought maybe I should have stayed home. I decided to at least make it until midnight and I had a blast. The music was great and I ended up meeting a group of people that were so cool we ended up coming back friday night! The drinks were great and I had the teriyaki wings which I thought were tasty. I will totally come back the bartender was super friendly and was attentive. Im coming back to taste the bbq wings for sure plus I heard they have a great happy hour!

It took forever to place an order: nobody came to the table, I had to go to the bar. They added 20% autogratuity even though the order was placed on one card and was only for 4 persons (and they expected tips on top of that). Bouncer was rude (actually I thought he was drunk or high by the time we were leaving).(P.S. we were there for the trivia game - maybe they manage better on usual days, but I definitely wont come there again, and will ask our organizers to avoid this place for future events)

Great blues bar in Midtown! They take reservations, and the live music was so good (7-10 pm)! We all liked the wings, gumbo, and chicken sandwich.

Gets crowded but the bar is nice and long so you can usually secure a spot for 1-3 people to congregate pretty easily. Sometimes tables are reserved for private functions. Also fairly centrally located to Port Authority and Penn Station - so potentially a good spot for after work outing for the commuters.

A nice pub , which saved my life last Saturday from the intense cold. An usual pub in the heart of NYC. They had a big screen , live match , good cocktails & bar food to go with.

Great bar! Went for happy hour and then stayed for a couple hours after that. Our waitress was helpful and accommodating of our large group. The Long Island tasted a little odd though. I am not sure if I just was not used to it or it was the drink itself.

Be prepared for the possibility of earlier closing times than advertised.

Went here for an event. The bartender was nice. The locale looks cool, but serious lack of seats near the bar. The food menu was very bar-like and the pricing is for the mid-town location. nothing special.

My colleagues and I love going here for happy hour. 20 wings for $12 (Teriyaki Sauce is my favorite) and $5 draft of the day is an amazing deal! Our server Ava is a sweetheart every time we are there. She deserves a promotion! Thanks Stitch!

I had the absolute pleasure to find myself at this establishment on a Saturday night in New York after trying desperately to find a bar open late (who knew that could happen in New York of all places?!...Im looking at you COVID!) Did I have high expectations for this place? No. Did the absolutely wonderful and friendly staff knock those expectations out of the park...you betcha! What a fun night. Guys...do you even know how great your bartenders are? So entertaining, so great, so fun and easygoing. We had a perfect Saturday night New York experience and so much of it was because of these gents! Drinks are inexpensive and when I asked for cherries for my drink you gave me a whole bowl of them (points!!!). I will tell you this... The bartenders go to jam of Tina Turners Private Dancer now has a very special place in my heart and I have you to thank for it! We are coming back to New York soon and coming back directly to you! Great food with REAL Blues entertainment.

We were in search of a non-touristy spot, and Stitch was exactly what we were looking for. It felt like the blues bar where the locals hang out - clean, cozy, and always hosting live blues music.The staff was incredibly professional, catering to our needs without ever rushing our order. The food was delicious, and it arrived promptly. I highly recommend trying their onion rings and burgers. The price was pretty much average compared to anything else with the same quality in the area.Recommended.

Stitch Bar & Lounge is the perfect place to stop, sit, relax and have a cocktail after walking around and shopping in the garment district. The bar has a nice ambience and the service is friendly. The bartenders make some great cocktails.

Great bar. Unfortunately we went on Tuesday, which is the only day that live Jazz is not on. Butvthe atmosphere was still good. The food was excellent and the server was really friendly. Spoke to a guy who was at the bar, not sure if he was the owner or door security. He was very welcoming and friendly. This place would be amazing when music is being played. Wish we went there earlier in our stay instead if last night.

Bar in the heart of midtown, has two floors. I went on New Years Eve, there were only two bar tenders but they both were very efficient, DJ was also ok.

🎷Fabulous bar with brilliant Blues music. From my understanding people state which instrument they want to play then they all play together - creating the music on the spot. SO CLEVER! The sound was amazing. Drinks were very good value for money - mine was definitely more than a double measure of gin! Service was good!🎹

Let start with the fact that we were here in New York for buniness and as foreigners just were at this bar to distress from our daily work load. We were supposedly served by an either afro american or latino descendant bald fellow that without being very clear about a credit card retention issue, ripped us at the end 40 dollar off. This guy was very brutal and aggressive and not service oriented at all. If he took his time to carefully listen and understand about the billing issue, I did not have to aware you from this joint. The experience my college and I had, motivate me to warn you to go to this club. I definitely will not recommend this joint to have a a good stressful leisure time.

We stopped in on a whim starving after a work expo and couldn’t be happier with our experience! We were greeted by a very friendly gentlemen, had incredible bar service & the food was fantastic!! All of the bar tenders were so joyful & the live music was super fun. We will definitely be back when we’re in town again!

Great venue. My only issue is that its all bar stools and no real chairs, which makes a difference to some of us older patrons. You do make an amazing Bloody Mary.

Let me tell you something right now. This place had the best burger Ive ever eaten in my entire life. Hands down A+++++. Very laid-back bar atmosphere with a wide selection of drinks and no fuss.. you want something. They got it. You want a parade celebration with that. To bad. Its all business and smiles here..... Thanks guys for an amazing time. I will be back asap.

What a terrible experience. So much potential with amazing old school blues artists giving it their all. The bartenders are terrible, but its more than likely a leadership problem. I left after waiting over half an hour for a refill on a slow Wednesday. A person who might be the manager was pouring shot after shot was hanging out at the bar and engaging with the bartenders.

Stitch is THE place for live music in NYC. With great blues bands every night, you can never go wrong.

Back in NYC after 12 years & no more BB King blues bar. I googled & found this place and took a bar seat while my girls were at Wicked etc. Ran through their cocktails - personal favorite was the first on the list - their lemon whisky. Grab a t-shirt to support them - go with a larger size as the run slightly small. As for the music - its live blues - all good.
