Awesome bar wonderful atmosphere.Would recommend for all occasions. And the price was not bad either paid less than 250 for 2 people.

Had an amazing time here last night! Located right in the middle of Times Square in Manhattan. Menus has something for everyone. Really enjoyed the sliders, spicy cauliflower, and chicken tenders for appetizers. Ordered a delicious soup as well! Ordered a steak and mash potatoes for my main! Overall a really great experience. Staff felt a little over worked, but everything that I ordered came and price was fair

I coordinated a dinner for primarily non-Kosher crowd and everyone really enjoyed. was primarily in touch with Mendy and also planned the menu with Zalman (the owner). There are large windows overlooking the street which bring in nice light, a couch that lines approximately 15-20 feet of the wall and ceiling to floor dividers that divide the rest of the second floor and the room. While there was no door, with the music, we felt comfortable enough to discuss sensitive topics.Overall: Everyone enjoyed the food and were impressed by the general setting and atmosphere. Music was nice and room temperature was comfortable. Service was amazing. Pricing is expensive but this is prime midtown and rent is not cheap.Service: impeccable. I believe that we were assigned three waiters. Anything we wanted was provided, as it should be, and the waiters were fast and happy to do so. I was very specific in my setup instruction and Mendy sent me pictures prior to the start of the event to ensure that the table arrangement was optimal. I opted for a bunch of tables in a rectangle which worked out great. Glasses were refilled in a timely manner without having to be asked and the waiters cleaned in between courses and gently asked people if they wanted more wine. As instructed they kept the wine and food flowing. When I told them to clear the appetizers in ten minutes but then five minutes later changed my mind they were happy to accommodate.Space: see above; clean and neat. Napkins and china was clean and unchipped. Glasses were clean and nice. Plenty of light and room for food with more room to sit and chat on the side. Washing station on second floor with tin foil pre wrapped bread which I thought was unique. I added asterisks** next to must try dishes.Cost: About $3,100 before tax and tip. Includes $500 for private room.Food:Beef bolognese**: 9.8/10 meat was flavorful tomato sauce had just the right amount of acidity (no sweetness thankfully). Noodles were high quality. A must have.Sliders**: 9.9/10 we ordered the lamb beef and pulled beef all of which were devoured. They come with sauces. The lamb burger (the only one I tried was possibly the best burger I had. Small caramelized onions on top melt on your mouth flavor. Very strong appetizer. Suggest you order all three. Each type (beef and lamb) come with three sliders).Meatballs: 8.9/10 very delicious. No spaghetti.Meat pizza: 8.4/10 but likely higher as I had a piece after the party finished. Kale and pulled beef toppings were a hit.Short rib gnocchi: I did not try it so will not rate it but was told that the meat was amazing.Caesar and seasonal salads: I did not try but people enjoyed. Will not rate on this basis.Lamb chops**: 9.9/10. Highly recommended! Easily the best meat. Soft juicy tender and people devoured these. Comes with three and sauces.Tomahawk for two: 7.4/10. Nicely presented and cut on board. I thought it was fine but thought that the meat could have been more flavorful and soft. However: People loved it and the two tomahawks we ordered were devoured. Paid for extra large steak sauces which I don’t think were brought out.Hanger steak: 2/10. Others loved it so maybe this particular cut did not do it for just me. Thought it lacked flavor and the thinness of the cut got to me but that’s standard so maybe it’s same thing.Salmon: 7.9/10. Cooked perfectly and one described it as the best she’s ever tried.Bronzino: I did not try but people really liked it.Lemon tart**: 9.7/10 made in house and perfectly delicious. Paired perfectly with tea or coffee.Lava cake: I did not try but people loved. Made in house.Babka bites**: 8.4/10 fried small pieces of babka with lots of chocolate. Made outside but fried and baked in house.Fruit: People liked. Two huge platters were $120 which is fair.Wine and drink: people enjoyed the wine. Slightly weak selection of reds compared to whites.

Food was good but there is better for the price. The lamb burger was a bit dry but the sauce made it better. The potatoes were bland and needed a bit more say and pepper. Service was ok although I was only asked once if everything was well and the restaurant was not very full. Not a bad place but I would suggest something different to eat and maybe when it is busier the service is potentially better.

Came here with coworkers for a department get together. The atmosphere here is top notch. The food selection was right on the money for an upscale restaurant. You want steak...Then prepare for a food gasm. I had a cowboy bone in medium rare steak which was literally melting with every bite. And the garlic mashed potatoes 🤤 were amazing! That said, I asked for a Stella bear 😭 and was offered a substitute which was a 4.5 out of 5. My coworkers had lamb and steaks respectively. Everyone was satisfied and full .Recommend this place for an office party or to take a significant other out for an upscale meal.Price was $$$. Bring an AMAX Gold.

Great kosher steakhouse in the busy midtown location. The food is excellent, but if I had to pick between this and Barnea/Reserve/Wall St grill, the others would win. The location here is most convenient. We spent about $230/head, got tons of apps and drinks. Just felt a little steep. For the black Angus ribeyes, I asked for it medium rare, but we also told them we wanted a charred exterior - so they came medium well. Not a big deal, but the waiter assured me when we were ordering that it wasnt one of those kosher steakhouses that overcooks steak - he should have been more focused on the end product.I think a fried chicken appetizer (tossed in sauce) would go a long way here. Meatballs were really good, meat was tender and sauce was spiced well. The pizzas were interesting, but I wouldnt necessarily recommend. Egg rolls were great. Onion rings were fantastic, large and breading stayed on.We got a bunch of old fashioned drinks - while they were mixed well, the ice cubes were too small, and there was a ton of melting going on. Consider investing in larger ice cubes.Lamb chops were fantastic, but expensive.

This is a kosher restaurant and offers outside seating. I was intrigued by the name of the restaurant and excited to eat here. It disappointed. We ordered the barbecue pulled steak pizza, salad with grilled chicken, and charred chicken. The charred chicken was so overcooked the fork didn’t go through the meat. I should have sent it back but didn’t. The pulled steak pizza was good but the grilled chicken on the salad was also very overcooked. I know the. We tried this place for the first time and their food was delicious. Everyone just loved their dish. The appetizers were unusual and scrumptious. We ordered bacon wrapped fig and apricot _ it was actually pastrami and a duck sausage pizza for the table which was incredible. Our entrees were tuna with rice or garlic mashed potatoes, lemon herb half chicken and braised short ribs gnocchi. A bit pricey but more than worth it. The waiters were attentive. We sat upstairs and it was a little bit of a climb for anyone with bad knees.. there is seating downstairs as well but not as quiet or semi private as upstairs. This was my first time here… And let me say IMPRESSED would be an understatement. The food was exceptionally exquisite!Everything was truly made with excellence. My favorite was the pulled beaf pizza, seriously the best pulled beaf I’ve ever tasted it truly hit home. The Cowboy steak was nice, tender, and ultra flavorful. I rarely order steak, but I loved this steak in particular. Mashed potatoes and the onion rings were super tasty as well plus the Cauliflower steak was D-licious! Perfectly seasoned, not too dry, not too oily absolutely loved eating that one on its own and with some of the dressings they provided as well.As for My mint drink, 10/10. Mine had no alcohol, but I could drink that all day everyday for the rest of my life and be content.Definitely a beautiful place for special occasions, or if you just want some GOOD food. This place hit home. Compared to a few other high end kosher restaurants in the city, I personally say this one is top 3 for me, for sure!!Great ambiance as well, quick and respectful waiters. This used to be a good restaurant. The fourteen dollar chicken soup was cold and tasted spoiled. I am sure it was freshly made but unfortunately it was made from chicken that was not fresh. The thirty eight dollar pastrami on a burger bun was made from shredded tasteless pastrami. It used to be made from sliced pastrami. I can only guess why it is now shredded and the menu conveniently makes no mention of the change. The restaurant is freezing and ridiculously noisy. My dining partner ordered a burger for fifty two bucks. It is fascinating that the restaurant fills up every day. I view it like Saturday night live which hasn’t been funny for decades but people watch it because they remember that it used to be funny so get pastrami from mr broadway at half the price and it’s not shredded. I imagine other things on the wolf and lamb menu are decent but I am deaf and freezing from my visit today so I can’t go back for a while

Huge disappointment. The Tables are REAL tini. I requested the larger table for two BEFORE sitting down. After I ordered the food, they came to take one table away; I respectfully declined, explaining it was agreed at the door in advance. They came a SECOND time to just remove it. I explained again that I specifically requested the larger table ahead of time because we were working with Laptops. I offered to pay for the wine and leave. The front-desk manager was extremely unfriendly and distasteful with her negative attitude even though she herself authorized my request upon arriving. With mediocre food, small tables, $160 tab dinner for two and terrible service, Management should be ashamed of such disgraceful way of treating their guests... this restaurant in Madison and 50 should be avoided particularly since there are so many other quality restaurants in the immediate area.

Food here is decent. Menu is very limited and not very creative. The new space is very nice but I feel like there was a lost opportunity to change up the menu when moving to the new space. We ordered the Grilled spiced Cauliflower, Illinois ribeye and Gnocchi and Wild mushroom. The best thing we had was the Cauliflower, it was spiced excellently and paired with a cooling and delicious sauce. The Gnocchi was nothing to write home about. The steak on the other hand was a let down. I ordered the steak medium and it came pretty rare. The meat was chewy and had a large tendon running through making it hard to cut and making me question if it was truly a ribeye. The waitress was extremely attentive though, very willing to make the order right and put the steak back on the grill.Over all a disappointing meal with very good service.

Really good restaurant and casual, which I like. My family and I were in town and wanted a good Kosher steakhouse. My kids loved it and so did my wife and I. The service is quick, the food tasty and fairly priced...for a kosher place. Not a ton of ambiance and I didnt like the way the employees bags were filling up a wall by the restrooms. The curtain covering the refrigerated drinks also was a bit tacky, but these are smaller issues. I like the backstage items to stay backstage and allow me the experience of being in the restaurant, but really no biggie. We went twice in 8 days and wed strongly recommend the veal or beef hamburgers (though they tend to overcook them more than you ask them too, but not so badly as to ruin them) and the rumaki. The veal chop was too fatty, but the sliders were great. The kids loved the small bottles of soda and the fact that you can order a hotdog (not on the menu) to keep the cost down. One word of advice: They tend to like the same sauce (a chipotle BBQ sauce) for a few of their dishes and it was completely different the two times we went. The first time it had a hint of kick and was awesome. The second time it was REALLY spicy and really took away from the dish. Id recommend that you ask to taste it before the meal because while I love spice, it overpowered the main ingredients in the dish.Bottom line: Great food, nice atmosphere and good service.

One of the biggest rip-offs in NYC. Had the burger. $36. Ridiculous. Having eaten burgers across the city, I’d rank this one at the bottom. Roaul’s, Shake Shack, Ethyl’s fi-dollar burger any and all are better. Meat was dry and tasteless. I doubt anything here is much better. Place was empty, which says it all.

I must say the space is beautiful and the wait staff attentive and polite. My dining partners really enjoyed the steaks they got but my food was lacking. For that price I’d expect amazing, and it was not. I started with cauliflower “ steak” which was served with two bland sauces drizzled over it. It was extremely greasy and I couldn’t finish it. For my main, the waiter recommended the gnocchi which was a total disappointment. It should have been fluffy pillows of deliciousness. Instead I got fried, dense dough surrounded by overcooked green beans, unrecognizable squash, and some greens. Very disappointing and also oily. The table shared some onion rings which were nothing special, and fries which tasted like they had been sweetened. . I would not go back unless my friends wanted to.UPDATE: Almost immediately after posting this review I received an email from the owners. They were very kind and apologized for my poor experience and offered to credit me $50 towards my next visit. Maybe I will try again…

Mixed ExperienceI recently visited this establishment on an early Saturday evening when they introduced live saxophone music. The saxophonist named Glebe was truly amazing, and his performance added a fantastic touch to the overall ambiance. The food served was delicious, and the bartender provided excellent service throughout the evening. However, I was disappointed with the service provided by one particular waitress. While the saxophone music and overall atmosphere were enjoyable, my experience was marred by the lackluster service from the waitress. Sadly, she left me hanging for no apparent reason, despite my patiently waiting for over 15 minutes. It was quite frustrating to receive such poor service, especially when everything else was going well.I hope that management takes note of this review and addresses the issue with this particular waitress. It would be great if they could improve their service quality and ensure that future patrons do not encounter the same problem. In a customer-oriented business, friendly and attentive service is crucial in creating a positive dining experience.Aside from this one negative aspect, I still appreciated the talented saxophonist and the lovely food. Overall, it was a mixed experience, and while I hope to visit again for the great entertainment and food, I sincerely hope not to encounter the same waitress in the future.

Wolf & Lamb is a Kosher Meat Restaurant providing an upscale, exquisite dining experience. Its the little details they think about and it clearly shows from food presentation to having pre-wrapped bread at the ready for blessing prior to eating.I was with a large group of guests. We had several appetizers including fried pickles and bbq topped pizza. My main was a large ribeye, cooked perfectly and served hot. Others had filet mignon which were the largest Ive ever seen. The dessert trays looked beautiful, I was full so I didnt have any...Five star experience.
