Great spot in the UWS that is fully gluten free and kosher. had a delicious girls night dinner, we were a party of 3 — with one of us celiac, another gluten sensitive. waiter was very friendly and we got a cozy corner spot on banquet.to say we were excited to have dinner here is an understatement, especially with onion rings and churros on the brain.we ordered:— chicken tender— steamed dumplings— onion rings— burger— churrosplus a lovely red wine from israel.everything was good — the churros, burger and chicken tenders was excellent. onion rings were a little heavy handed on the batter front but still tasty.definitely a winner and reservations are highly recommended. such a treat to indulge, thanks to the folks behind modern bread ❤️

A great gluten free spot right next to modern bread and bagel. An amazing menu for yummy goodness, the onion rings are killer and I loved the mocktails. We stopped for a light lunch but got a salted pretzel to go. Super great spot, service was a little slow but nothing major. The price isn’t the worst either considering everything is celiac safe.

Horrifically overpriced for substandard food. Music made it sound like we had walked into a gym.Tried to order three different meals first but couldn’t due to dietary restrictions that were not mentioned on the menu. Then paid $38 for a chicken parm that used packaged cheese slices and reheated spaghetti. The spaghetti was luke-warm and tasted like it had been in the microwave. The nail in the coffin was the waiter pouring water into my beer, thinking it was the water glass. Not even remotely worth the $100+ we paid in the end.

Everything is gluten free! We had vegetable dumplings, ribeye skewers, Japanese potatoes and Singapore noodles with two cocktails. The food is tasty, fresh and light. The Japanese potatoes were fried but still very light and fluffy. The portions are good sized but don’t leave you feeling stuffed and heavy. The price for NYC is appropriate however if you’re an out of town tourist you might find it overpriced. Will come back!

I want to love this place so bad but I just can’t.To have all these options is wonderful in theory but in practice it’s just not good.My partner and I went around 7pm on Saturday 1/4/25. We both ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwiches. He doesn’t eat meat so he ordered his vegan. On instagram they showed pictures of their chicken sandwiches and they looked delicious with the sauces and how crispy they looked but also how they advertised that the ones in those pics are actually vegan! When we got our sandwiches not only was it not freshly made (it was barely even room temp) but there was no hot Nashville sauce on the chicken and no green garlic ranch either (like the menu said). It was just a plain dry chicken sandwich. Also the vegan one looked absolutely nothing like advertised on their instagram. (I know how food ads work but this is not a corporate fast food chain with a staging staff, they just posted a pic of the sandwich) his sandwich was a thick slab of deep fried tofu on bread and it had no sauce, no ranch, and no flavor.I was so confused and disappointed for him. He managed to choke down half because of the price of the sandwich. To charge $28 for that is pretty crazy. (Photos attached)The fries were great! To be expected in a restaurant. The onion rings were good but you can only have 1 or 2 bc of the amount of oil in each bite. Similar to the churros, they were absolutely soaked in oil and unfortunately I could not even finish the churro that I bit into. I know I didn’t get sick from gluten here but I definitely did from the amount of oil that was in the food. Idk maybe that’s just a personal thing thoughI really want to love this place. We were so excited to finally try it but unfortunately it just wasn’t good. Maybe the staff is overwhelmed. Maybe we went at a bad time. I just don’t know. I absolutely LOVE modern bread and bagel and will continue enjoying their wonderful foods but I cannot see myself dining here again

I wanted to try their new menu ever since I heard they switched kosher supervision. We went during happy hour and the drinks were well priced and delicious. Bartender knew what he was talking about and helped direct us towards drinks we would like. We ordered fries which took 25 minutes to come- but when they came were delicious. Reading all the other reviews I was a little nervous about the service and taste- however after going there I would go back (with vastly lower expectations for service though)

Made a reservation for 1:30 pm. Showed up at 1:34 and was advised kitchen closed early today. They informed us since we didn’t get there early and order by 1:30, the kitchen closed and we were out of luck. How can you possibly order by 1:30 if your reservation is literally at 1:30?! They responded with “well if you got here at 1:30, we would give you 3 minutes to order”. Again, how is that possible?? Do not waste your time at this restaurant. Staff did not care at all. After reading reviews, apparently we are not the first being treated badly.

Went for brunch today and would not go back if you paid me. It was SO LOUD!!! The food is good but not exceptional, and it is horribly overpriced. It shouldn’t cost $80 to get 2 entrees and 2 lemonades from a restaurant like this. The server prioritized a bigger party over us even though we were seated ten minutes prior to them. I noticed it happening to another couple with a different server. Highly recommend skipping this and getting something from the place next door instead. Some of the stuff you see on the online menu isn’t on the menu you get handed upon entering.

This was our first time coming here and I was extremely disappointed. We got there at about 11:45am and half of the restaurant was empty yet we were told that we could not be seated because you needed reservations BUT if we wait until 12:30 then MAYBE she can squeeze us in. Again, there’s so many empty tables so we were confused but said okay. I ended up making reservations online for 12 and we waited the 15 minutes. She sits us down in one of the empty tables where she could’ve sat us down at 11:45am. We placed our orders at 12:12 and the food comes out 25 minutes later and there are still empty tables all around us.I should preface this by saying that I am not vegan but my boyfriend is and we were both disappointed in the food. We shared the pancakes and we both ordered the eggs with homefries, bread…I got sausage and he got bacon. My sausage patty looked burnt..I really thought they gave me a brownie. My boyfriends bacon tasted like plastic jerky. I did not like the bread and the food did not have flavor. Vegan food doesn’t have to be flavorless but this meal was and I don’t think I would order the vegan stuff again.Anyway, we ended up leaving around 1:15 and there were still empty tables. I’m just confused as to why the hostess couldn’t seat us at 11:45 when we got there…my thing is we are here to spend money so just sit us down.

I cant tell you about anything other than Just in Thyme their little to-go area but lemme tell you, those gf pretzels/pretzel bites were AMAZING. Ive been involuntarily gluten free for around 16 years. It has been that long since Ive had a big chewy pretzel. Some pretzel bites came out fresh from the oven and got them as well and I was in *~heaven~*The churro I dont think I can properly rate because I didnt eat it until a few hours after buying it, so I dont know if it was soft because of the time, or if thats how it is. So when I come back to NYC in August 2025 I will definitely check them out againThem being next to Modern Bread and Bagel is a dangerous combination, but I am HERE for it.

Like many other reviewers, I felt the food was very hit or miss. The cocktails were delicious, but the place was totally disorganized and the staff seemed overworked. The fries were actually pretty good, bht the fried chickn sandwich was a huge disappoinment. Just because the food is vegan doesnt mean you cant add seasoning... Ive had chickn before, and it can be delicious. This chickn looked and tasted like a block of tofu with some vegan breading on some sides of the patty. The Impossible burger is much better elsewhere. The quinoa salad was fine.

Gluten free. Place is picturesque (instragramable). Great ambience & atmosphere. Inside and outside dining available. Known for its drinks mostly. Happy hour is until 7pm. I got the espresso martini, it was alright, not my favorite. Got 3 appetizers to keep it light and simple. I enjoyed the lentil soup. The Brussel sprouts were disappointing, very oil drenched and blend. The mini quesadellas tasted like corn tortillas with potatoes... very blend and tasteless.Overall Interesting experience.

However, everything comes out just incredibly bland and tasteless.$22.00 Fish tacos were tasteless as was accompanying rice and beans.Zucchini fries - soggy and sad.Old School burger- tastelessMahi Mahi sandwich- tastelessFries - soft and tastelessIt seems as if spices, herbs and salt were chef’s enemies.Drinks were excellent. Kudos to the Bartender.Service was detached and not very friendly, with exception of one gentleman wearing sparkly silver tie t-shirt who was really good.P.S. just a little bit of salt and some spices would instantly elevate the experience to 5 stars. If you want to spend three hours at a place with no service and mediocre and flavorless food then this is your spot!I had long to visit Thyme & Tonic based on recommendations. My friend and I arrived at 12pm for Saturday Brunch, and we were immediately seated by the hostess. At this time, it wasn’t busy. We were seated for 10 minutes when the next couple sat down, and 5 minutes after that a party of 1 sat. In these 15 minutes no one acknowledged our table. At 12:20, a blonde waitress went to take an order for the parties that sat after us.At this point my friend and I are annoyed and wondering who even works there. That’s when a gentleman, who I learned is the manager, passed by us as we were trying to get his attention. At 12:25 he came to take our order. We placed our food and drink order. It took about 15 minutes to get our drinks (refer to the images). The only reason our drinks were brought out is because the food runner went to get them for us, since he noticed we were waiting on something. At 12:43pm a side of fries we ordered was brought out. The rest of our food arrived at 12:55pm. When our food arrived, a young male waiter (we hadn’t seen) asked if we needed anything else, we said. After that, no one came back to check on us. We ate for an hour, so roughly finished our meal at 1:50-2:00pm. The male waiter came to refill our coffee and took my second drink order. When it was time to ask for the check, It took 30 minutes to receive it. Why? Well we were waiting for someone to come around and notice us again. The blonde waitress ignored us, the hostess mentioned it to the waiter, nothing. I decided to use the restroom during this time, when I stepped in I asked the blonde waitress where the bathroom was, she looked bothered by my question. On my way back I see the waitress and the guy who took our order chatting away. I go to my table and still no check.Again, the food runner noticed we needed something and immediately got the male waiter to bring us our check, at 2:55pm. Our immediate instinct was to check the name of the waiter on the tab. To our surprise we see “Zuzanna”, and I fully understood what was happening. The waiter came back and I asked him, “Were you not our waiter?” He didn’t respond. I followed up with, “When we leave a tip, does that go to you and the food runner?” I told him we didn’t feel comfortable leaving a tip that would go directly to whoever Zuzanna was when this person didn’t stop by our table once, and ignored us plenty of times. There were five employees working the floor that day. So, who was Zuzanna? The blonde waitress that ignored us. Who was the man that took our order and was never seen again? The manager. I know the trick that manager pulled, and I hope they do pool tips, because Zuzanna doesn’t know teamwork. As for the manager, he knew who he assigned the table to and not once called her out or sent her to stop by.Do I recommend this place? NO! SKIP IT! Only good thing were the fries and coconut pancakes but NOT WORTH supporting bad management who can’t set a good example and allow their employees to take advantage of others. PLEASE NOTE: Out of the 5 employees there, only three assisted when they could. The hostess, male waiter and food runner are the only reason we got any type of “service” that day, when it wasn’t solely their responsibility to continuously acknowledge us.

We tried this place for the first time the other day and really enjoyed it! Pescatarian menu with lots of vegan options if that’s your thing. We were the first to arrive at brunch time and we’re on a bit of a diet — so the menu fit the bill. I got the avocado toast and husband got the scrambled bowl. I don’t even like onions and I loved the pickled onions on the avo toast. Prob the best ones I’ve ever had since they weren’t overwhelmingly onion-y. We’re sober curious ATM so I also ordered the juice — mint/cucumber/grapefruit — it was absolutely the highlight of the meal! Love that they have teff bread too — haven’t seen that many places!

Disappointing. Had a reservation for 8 PM. Received a call that they were not going to be able to accommodate until 8:30. No problem - happy to be flexible.Get there at 8:30 and am told that my party has to sit at the bar and the kitchen won’t open until 9/9:10.Kindly asked to speak to a manager about at least sitting at our table even if we are waiting for the kitchen to open - especially after you have to pay 10 dollars per head ahead of time.Thankfully - got us seated. The drinks were good (though - out of a few items) and the atmosphere was solid. However, the food proved to be lackluster as well. Really uninspired vegan fare & also were told they were out of a number of items on the menu, too.Ultimately, this is NYC. There are great restaurants around the block. I’d recommend trying somewhere else until they can get the kitchen up to par & the service more professional.

Truth be told, I’m not super into vegan/natural foods. My girlfriend wanted to go here so I entertained the place. Our waitress was awesome (sorry don’t remember her name) and was able to provide good recommendations. We started with spring rolls and these things were so bomb! Tasty and crispy. The sauce it was served with was also amazing. Would come back for this dish alone. Would say it’s a must-order. My gf got papardella and it was honestly not good. I got a burger that was also pretty bad. It was, however, served with fries and a vegan ranch that was surprisingly extremely tasty!! Would recommend for people into the natural/organic food scene. It’s priced accordingly $$$ The interior of the restaurant is also super cool. But for people that are looking for a “cheat meal” type experience, this definitely isn’t it.

I do not enjoy sharing my info with unknown entities as an appetizer.I’m getting the impression that they cut even more staff, thinking that forcing people to order their own would “reduce overhead” and then they “reduced overhead” (Staff) on the day of purchase,…. I’m currently writing this from the restaurant as we speak. This restaurant has some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. After sitting for over 20 minutes, we were able to finally get someone’s attention. Drinks took another 15 minutes and waited another 10 minutes on appetizers. Everything just took way too long. Every server/bartender we had an encounter with was a different person so we didn’t know who to ask for when we had certain issues arise. The ahi tuna burger was a very big disappointment. Hard to bite through and very bland, absolutely no flavor. The best parts about this place were the beautiful decorations and the drinks were really good. But unfortunately, those two things were not able to save the experience. The one thing that genuinely could’ve saved this experience and brought me back was better service. Went for supper with 3 other people and ordered drinks, starters, and mains.TLDR - we were all really impressed by the quality of the food and nuanced flavors and you should try it out :)Details:Service was fine - friendly and timely but no wow factor. Prices were very reasonable for a kosher restaurant in NYC.For starters we ordered the zucchini fries, onion rings, and chicken tenders. Each came with its own sauce and all were crispy and flavorful, especially the tenders. The breading on the items was also super tasty. For mains we got burgers - Diablo, American, and Plain Jane, and each was super juicy, perfectly cooked, and delicious. The vegan cheese was a creamy and flavorful addition and the gf buns were soft and did not taste gf. We also ordered salads which were good but not as outstanding as the burgers. We got parmesan fries which went well with the meal and had really nice flavor complexity. We got an assortment of drinks and all were beautiful and tasty. The food assortment was perfect for veggie lovers and non veggie lovers alike.Over all, a really good experience. I was somewhat hesitant to try it because of some recent reviews but was happily surprised by the speed of the service as well as the quality of the food and flavors.

Waited for our food for an hour and a half, and still did not receive it so we canceled the order and left. We checked with a waiter one hour in and we were told that we were the next ticket. It wasn’t his fault, but we were really disappointed by how long we waited. There were also many people around us waiting at least 20 minutes for their check.

If you want to wait forever to get even water to your table, come here! The food is amazing, which is SUCH A SHAME! I’m assuming management is just not properly working this restaurant correctly. Please do not fall for the 5-star reviews. This is NOT a restaurant. I highly doubt it will be around much longer. It’s very clear this place is struggling mightily, and you will leave very disappointed as a result. There are better veg/vegan friendly options nearby with much better bang for buck. This place was once decent for a drink and late bite - it is now a hollow shell of its former self and is desperate for your money.2 apps and 2 mains cost us $94 with tax and tip. This is a very casual restaurant with inexperienced wait staff and top 40 music blaring. This is not a “$100 for two apps, two mains, and water only” kind of place….The menu is incredibly hard to understand in terms of what is vegan & what isn’t, but more importantly - THE FOOD IS HORRENDOUS.The chicken sandwich (both vegan and real meat versions) is awful. It’s $28!!! And it comes with nothing. Just a fried chicken sandwich! It has barely any flavor, bad toppings, and is smaller than most fast food chicken sandwiches. I almost left right then and there but felt bad for my server. The onion rings were actually decent - but they were $16 for maybe….8 of them? Imagine how much it costs to make onion rings….one onion likely yields a few dozen onion rings, batter, dipping sauce. It costs nothing. They are ripping you off!Everyone in the restaurant was having a similar experience to my table - folks disappointed and confused by their paltry portions. Please do not consider this place - I really don’t want folks to go through what we did and have such deep buyers remorse.

Food was great and the atmosphere was fun but we had a 6pm reservation and were not seated until 6:40. We watched another party who came in 20 minutes after us get seated before us when a table opened up and their whole party hadn’t arrived yet. Then it took 10 more minutes for someone to even acknowledge us at our table. Wish I could say anything else positive about the experience but it would be untrue.

VEGAN OPTIONS!!✨🌱WHERE✨🌇Located on the Upper West Side just a few blocks from Central Park, definitely plan to hit this place up for Happy Hour because it SLAPS.AMBIANCE✨SO GOOD. I loved the decor of this gastropub, both inside and outwardly beautiful (like you 😉) there is earthy decor featuring drooping flowers in their outside dining area (which is reservation only) and it’s perfect for photo opportunities!WHAT I ATE✨🍔🥟Thyme and Tonic serve flavors from all around the 🌎 making it hard to choose what you want to eat if you’re a lover of all foods 💕 They had an amazing happy hour! $8 drinks and $7 appetizers 😭✨ These are great prices for NYC and for the area in general. I ate and LOVED their house made gyoza. For the main course I ate their Friend “Chikin” Sandwhich with herbed aioli, pickles and slaw. Although it was good, it wasn’t my favorite because the bun is more hard like a bagel than fluffy like a normal burger bun. They are completely gluten-free!!• They are vegan friendly, but they do serve dairy, meat, and fish. They have lots of nut-free options!WHAT I DRANK✨💕🍷I had 2 drinks, the Part Time Lover which was made with Great Grey Gin, Strawberries, Hibiscus, Lemon Juice. Second I had the Graden Margarita made of Tequila, Lime, Agave, Chili Salt🍹 The drinks tasted amazing and the bartender even gave us a free shot of tequila!

We had horrible service, no one seemed to care about the customers in the restaurant. The manager was just standing around staring through a window in the kitchen and staring from behind the bar while many of us experienced the worst possible service from a waiter who refused to speak or make eye contact. My food came out with chicken instead of the cauliflower I ordered. Our food took over 30 minutes to come out, then one dish had to be sent back. If we wanted help from our waiter, we had to get their attention and ask. No one came to check on us, ever. We had to ask for drink refills. We had to ask for ketchup for our chicken fingers twice(why doesn’t that dish come with ketchup?). They are marketed as this very inclusive restaurant, however there is almost nothing on the menu that does not have meat or fish. They are so proud of their vegan cheese, but pair it with meat and fish. This restaurant is not for vegetarians or anyone looking for plant based or plant first as Thyme and Tonic likes to claim they are. It is for people who don’t eat gluten, dairy or are kosher. The bathrooms are disgusting and you have to walk through this weird bagel staging area where people are actively working on packing bagels to get there. This restaurant is all over social media as a great destination for plant based and gluten free food, but it is not worth the hype whatsoever. Instagram lied. Horrible service, sub par food. Skip it. But, if someone forces you to go there be sure to get the onion rings as they were the only decent item we ate.

The zucchini fries were undercooked and soggy, and the burger bun was hard as a rock. As a celiac, I have had many burger buns that were not as stale and old as this one. We used to come to the restaurant (Spring Natural Kitchen) before it was Thyme and Tonic. we decided to give it a try because we like the concept of healthy vegan food. we really wanted to like it, but was quickly disappointed. We don’t think we’ll ever come back.Ordered the Bolognese (mushroom) sauce was OK but the pasta was horrible. Just a bowl of chopped up spaghetti(gluten free).. we also ordered chicken for appetizers and the barbecue sauce on the chicken was way too salty. Best thing was the salad which we enjoyed very much. We also ordered two mocktails. All-in we paid over $100 for food we unfortunately didn’t enjoy..We can get much better food for a better price in numerous other restaurants in the UWS neighborhood.

I have no idea how this restaurant gets any positive reviews. Seriously some of the worst food I have ever had at a restaurant. I am easy to please and generally not picky, but these dishes barely qualify as food. The vegan chicken sandwich was actually a block of unflavored tofu in a bun. Such bad food. We went in a group of 4 and pretty much ordered half the menu and boy did every dish set new standards of disappointment. Bland, no flavour, and such weird portions. Hueveros Divorciados for instance had like 1 tsp worth of black beans with tacos and 1tsp of some red sauce they tried to pass off as pico.. all the dishes only had large portions of egg or just egg and even that was bland- no salt even .. the waiters are terribly confused and while helpful, were not very alert to customer needs. Never ever coming back here. If you are vegan just walk a few blocks and eat at Peacefood instead

We visited for brunch, the space is nicely sized for NYC and it’s a bright and fresh feeling environment. Staff is friendly, and still managed to check in with us despite Sunday brunch crowd. We ordered the specials - brisket hash and challah French toast. The brisket hash was out of this world, truly delicious. Was very excited to try this restaurant based on the menu posted online via the Modern Bagel site. Menu was not the same, hostess said she had asked them to update it. Very disappointed that the one item that brought me in was not on the menu. Wait person had limited knowledge of the menu. I asked if the Latke Benny was latkes with the eggs/spinach on top and he tried to explain but said it was more like a tortilla. I thought it would’ve been strange to have had latkes with a side of home fries, way too many potatoes for one dish. But when it came out, sure enough, it was two greasy latkes, with the spinach and eggs on top, with a side of home fries. Not what I expected and it was just OK. When we ordered more coffee, it took more than 5 minutes and came out in two brand new mugs; why not bring around a pot of coffee instead? Disappointing and will not be back.

I could not be more sad and disappointed after how I was treated at this restaurant. I arrived at 2:15pm and waited to be seated by a staff member, he showed me to my table. I patiently waited 12 minutes as I watched multiple other guests get served and seated. Not one server ever approached me during the 12min while i was waiting seated at my table. I finally flagged down a server and her response was that I needed to wait to be seated (I was clearly already seated at a table!). At that point I left to get Vegan ice cream down the street. I dont find it to be coincidental that I was the only black women of all the guests this afternoon. All of your guests deserve equal treatment regardless of their race. Which, by the way, no longer come with fries! No, you must now pony up an additional $6.50 to add fries to your $18 burger. A couple years ago, the brunch menu featured dark chocolate vegan pancakes, made with mashed banana and walnuts, which were delicious. However, they decided to take out 90% of the chocolate and all of the nuts, with a terrible result. As well, the dinner menu has changed to eliminate basically all protein. A salmon salad on the reasonably priced appetizer menu is gone; one can add salmon to a salad for an additional $9 cost. Fish tacos are no longer, replaced by just tacos, with a mushy interior. As someone who has a restrictive diet, its really high praise to any restaurant that can make just about anyone feel welcome. Thyme & Tonic delivers consistently. With their pretty Instagram ready outdoor dining and artfully presented signature cocktails, theres usually very little argument in suggesting this restaurant to a diverse group of friends. In addition to their largely plant-based menu (I believe they also serve fish), this restaurant is also certified kosher, to include their cocktails. To me, one of the best aspects of this restaurant are the slight changes in their menu from one visit to the next; I really enjoy the variety of offerings. From mushroom tacos, to Asian style noodles, to curried chick peas, Ive not had a bad meal here. My friends, on the other hand, have had more of a mixed bag. For example, a Chickn sandwich that was ordered turned out to be a rather tasteless, underseasoned piece of fried tofu. Thats really the only thing preventing me from giving Thyme & Tonic five stars, to be honest. But definitely give it a try. Bring a date or go with a group. Youll have a nice time.

I got the chicken tacos (tofu), and they were delicious!!! The sweet potatoes with spicy aioli were also good. The Good 4 You margarita was great! They didn’t skip on the tequila! If in NYC, you should go!

This place is the definition of trash. Like the trash on the side of the streets of NYC. Bags of trash. They served food from the restaurant next store, Modern Bakery. The chop chop salad used old spinach that looked recalled. The grilled cheese was just toast, no cheese. The website for Thyme and Tonic did not specify that they were serving food from the bakery next door. The soup of the day was only broth, no veggies or lentils. Have you seen the Staten Island dump? Yea, Modern Bakery is just like the Staten Island dump. Thyme and Tonics service was not professional and didn’t not accommodate for their poor service or orders that were incorrect. Don’t go to either place. It’s not worth your time. Gluten free over priced bags of trash.

Oh before my entree I had a yummy butter squash soup with a beautiful array of fall spices. my beverages were terrific too GF beer as stated and a berry cocktail!!!

Was super excited about this place, but the food was so bland and unimpressive. The dishes could really use seasoning and flavor. I got the chikn tacos, which had completely untreated and seasonless, uncooked tofu, no sauce or anything tying the ingredients together. The tofu was disgustingly bland and way too soft. The menu description needs to be updated to say tofu tacos (chikn usually means soy protein). Theres so much potential in a vegan dish like this and they clearly just dont know how to capitalize on that potential. We also got the Brussels sprouts, which were unseasoned! It is baffling to me.It is super disappointing to have tasteless food at NYC prices..food I could have cooked 100 times better myself. Intriguing menu and enticing outdoor atmosphere, but doesnt deliver on the one thing youd expect: the food.

Excellent place to go during your visit to NY! Food, drinks are amazing. Tailored recommendations about drinks, great staff always smiling and willing to do their best, specially the bartenders and Eduardo (one of the owners). This was my first visit and I will always visit Thyme and Tonic when my travels bring me to NY.PD. Do not forget to ask for the Cucumber Mezcalita, it was my favourite!

First I was told I needed a reservation when there was about 10 open tables (inside and out) we made a reservation for 12Pm even tho it was already 1150am. We waited to be seated after 12pm to one of the open tables that we already saw. We place our orders and waited about 25-30 minutes for the food. The vegan sausage looked a little burnt and the bacon was chewy like a jerky. Ive eaten many vegan items and this was definitely at the bottom of the list. While eating we noticed that the tables we were told are for the reserved at 12pm were still empty (about 10 or more tables ) and its already like 1230ish.My lady who isnt vegan did not enjoy the meal at all, it was decent for me. She drowned her plate in black pepper and salt after the first few bites to add flavor to the plate. Would not recommend

I was really excited for try this place but the only good thing about it is the aesthetic and the passion fruit margarita. The food was burnt and tasteless. I didn’t even finish it. To make matters worse, the service was poor and the person managing customers at the entrance was not very polite. Had high hopes and left disappointed.

Disappointed. Service was slow and directed mostly at my male meal mate. Bartender refused to do a virgin margarita. Kitchen was out of half of the starters. For a gluten free spot, the burger bun was dry and tasteless. The smoked jalapeño pepita guacamole had no smoked jalapeños and when we asked for some it was fresh jalapeño. Guacamole needed salt, sincerely lacking flavor. I had to mine for the red onion pieces. Siracha is the only hot sauce they have. Overpriced Caesar salad was small and the dressing watery. The kombucha glasses were cool. Could have gone to Bar Verde instead.

I have been coming to Thyme & Tonic since the restaurant opened and I have always loved the food and atmosphere. I recently hosted a private event here and they knocked it out of the park!First of all, the food (appetizers, entrees, dessert) was phenomenal. I worked with the owner and manager to create the ideal menu for my event - it was great that the restaurant was so flexible! All of our guests praised the food over and over. Everyone left very full and happy!Second, the drinks were superb. Trust the bartender - he is so creative and ANY drink he makes is absolutely delicious. Our guests favorite drink was an apple/vodka cocktail, which was truly the perfect autumn beverage.Last, I have to give a major shoutout to the whole staff for their incredible service. They went above and beyond to ensure this event was a success and they made us so happy. Planning the event was actually EASY due to their care and attention, and the service at the event was perfect! The staff helped us set up before the event (centerpieces, name cards, etc), then they helped us clean up after. They ensured everyone had food timely and also ensured everyone had enough food (seriously, they were extremely generous with the portions). If any guest had a question, I honestly never heard about it because the staff and T&T was on top of it!!! They impressed our 75 guests to such a high degree that MANY guests told me they are heading back to T&T for their next date night and birthday dinner. And personally... Im a fan for life!Including a few photos with this review. All photos were taken by Maria Sakr, NYC photographer.

I came here with 3 non-vegan friends on a Saturday night and we had a great experience.Food:Starters-Patatas bravas were delicious! Loved the spices and the diff textures. Cooked to perfect crisp!Quesadillas were soooo good. Wow! They were crunchy and the cheese melted so well. The flavors tasted authentically Mexican and I’d def order again.Main-Kale salad + crispy tofu was rly good. Kale was massaged well with flavor and I loved the crunch of the apples and the dressing was a good amount. Tofu was crispy af and cut in huge cubes. My friends ordered the quinoa bowl and it tasted and smelled like rotten food. Idk if it’s meant to be like that but they hated it and I don’t recommend. This is why I took off 1 star. Lol.Drinks- all delicious and worth to return for them!I ordered the coconut dreams and loved the balance of strong alcoholic taste with sweetness of coconut.Friends loved their drinks too.Service:A1. Everyone is so friendly and polite. We were the only ones there basically, but they were quick and professional.Ambiance:Amazing music and dope decor. It was my vibe 100%. They had drake playing at one point and it was just a dream meal for me.

Big place with plenty of seating indoors and out. Decent happy hour menu including on weekends. Interesting and creative cocktails on the HH menu. The bartenders are busy but it didn’t take too long to order and get a drink. I tried the Mockingbird—refreshing, really nice mix of sweet and tart, and pretty boozy with gin. They have a full bar with lots of types of alcohol, although they didn’t seem to specialize in a large variety of any particular type.

The best takeout I have ever gotten. I had the miso salmon and the sauce was spicy, umani, and sweet, all at once. It was perfectly portioned and layed out beautifully in the container. I am embarrassed to have suggested this restaurant for a reunion with very dear friends. I went for lunch today, the waitress was fantastic. Order the Latkes with nova, sour cream, capers, onions, . It arrived at the table looked delicious, sliced into it and I found hair cooked into the Latkes. I actually pulled two strands out of the latkes. I called the waitress told her this women had the nerve too tell me the wind blew the hair into the latkes. After that remark I told her to stop you just being insulting, this waitress then tells me I must leave, of course I asked for the manager who apologized and said I didn’t have to pay. Advice don’t order the Latkes.

It was good, the place is really clean. Everyone is so nice. There was no bartender and my undertrained waiter had all the tables and had to make drinks. Not his fault but service definitely suffered. I ended up having my appetizer for my main course. We were there for lunch and ordered 3 grilled vegetable sandwiches (supposed to come on a focaccia). After waiting for about 20 minutes we got 3 sad looking store bought burger buns with some grilled veggies and a disappointingly small side of potato salad. When we inquired about the bread, the waiter (who was perfectly nice) seemed surprised and claimed the kitchen didnt let him know. He checked for us and turns out they ran out of focaccia. Im wondering- why didnt they let us know? We would have just ordered something else instead of settling for this pathetic sandwich. We didnt have time to wait for another dish so we left unsatisfied and down $17 each. Will not come back.

Our server was so pleasant as well. As a GF person it’s so hard to find decent GF food that’s not just the same old options that are GF in the first place (like rice and so on).
