Excellent place to spend the night. The crowd is very friendly.

My husband and I are obsessed with this place for their karaoke! Great bartender Miriam - she’s an amazingly talented singer and funny! Love the karaoke DJs Chadwick and Rebecca! They’re also both excellent singers and really kind! Love the regular folks we see on Mondays for karaoke - such a fun group. Recently, the whole bar erupted in a group version of One Day More for the final karaoke song and it was truly the best.

An absolute gem of a neighborhood pub. Not a dive bar by any stretch of the imagination. Great spirits and great beers on draft. Ryan the bartender is spectacular and the service he provides is A+! Going to be my upper west side go to from now on.

Love this much needed addition to the neighborhood. It’s a great place to stop by for a cold beer or lemon martini 🍸 and a friendly chat. Chad is awesome and always has a welcoming smile on his face when you walk through the door!

The Upside Bar on the Upper West Side might take the cake for the strangest decor of any bar weve been to, in a good way, though...But they have an awesome selection of beers & drinks, sports on multiple TVs, and an overall cozy vibe.I wouldnt come here for food or snacks, but as a bar hangout, its phenomenal.

Good beers, great music—I’m a fan! This area needed a chill spot like this.

Trash. The bar man is wearing a yankees hat behind the bar , the layout is a joke tables squashed on top of each other , glasses were dirty and food is taken out of a freezer shoved into a microwave right in front of customers terrible

The bar has much more potential than it shows. Its located in a convenient spot and theres quite a bit of room inside.Unfortunately, its a little unkept and uncared for.The service is courteous and quick, even too quick when it comes to the kitchen, which makes me suspect that the tater tots were microwaved (that and their sogginess).Good prosecco though.The place could use a spruce up to get a more modern and vibrant atmosphere.I think that with a bit of a revamp and some more t&c it could do much better.

So glad this bar exists! It’s a rare find in this area . . . casual, order at the bar, friendly, but not college vibes. Bar snacks are really only if you’re desperate though; I think they’re all made in a bar-side air fryer. 🤪

Nice, clean, cozy, warm place for a drink and be able to have a conversation with the person next to you without yelling over loud music. Some great craft beers and there are plenty of big screen tvs to watch different sports. The bartenders are great.

Best bar ever! Stephanie was amazing! She served us amazing drinks and put on baseball games on all the TVs! Looking forward to returning! Great bar for locals and out of towners alike!

The Upside is fantastic. The staff is friendly and attentive. The pours are plentiful, and the music selection is phenomenal. The overall vibe is one-of-a-kind, and they have the cleanest bathrooms in the city.
