Visiting from Dallas and was in the area so decided to explore the wonderful neighborhood and stumbled across this jewel! Music and vibe was superb and laid back. Had a drink at the bar and was fully engaged in a lovely conversation with D!A must visit while in NYC and I will surely be back!!!

Vibe was cozy and modern and there lot of seating which was nice on a Friday night - likely because this place is still new. Cocktails were average. Tried the Italian stallion which tasted like a regular Moscow mule - no interesting notes to it. The young grasshopper was nice and refreshing though.

Took a chance and walked in for no reason-- best choice I made. Drinks were fantastic. Each one was definitely crafted with care. Only intended on getting one drink here, ended up getting a few and food. The burrata and lobster ravioli were both delicious.

I came here on a quiet night where I was the only one at the bar. I ordered an espresso martini which had a rich, sweet flavor that I really enjoyed. The place has decent vibes.

I had the most delicious pasta from The Ruby. They recently opened and the owner and staff couldn’t have been more pleasant. I highly recommend the gnocchi with pistachio cream or the lobster ravioli.

My son Kevin celebrated his 40’s birthday in this place. Service was amazing. Food was great and my son’s private DJ was great. We had fun🙏❤️

This place I believe is a new establishment and has the potential to become a nice restaurant. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with a well-curated music selection that adds to the experience, and the cocktails we had were delicious. These pros give a glimpse into what This place could offer once it finds its footing.On the flip side, there were notable cons. Service was slow, with our order mistakenly served to another table, and a significant wait time before and between our courses. The dishes we received, unfortunately, didnt hit the mark with undercooked pasta and cold sliders.Recognizing that new restaurants have a learning curve, Im hopeful that thus place will improve with time and experience. For now, its a place with great potential thats not quite there yet.

New place, was almost empty on a Wednesday night, the drinks are hit and miss. music is too loud and doesnt really match the cool decor. interested to revisit in couple of months to see if they find their style...

Was just in here, service was really bad. Bought a bottle to sip and catch up with friends and the waitress treated us way different than our white counter part patrons.When paying at the end the manager was concerned with what we were doing, like we weren’t trying to pay. I wouldn’t come back here…

I wrote my review here again…I want everyone to know how bad service of this place is, hopefully can help you and dont waste your money hereThis place looks very nice from outside and very nice decoration, I decided to take some drinks with my friend and since we entered, we were not welcome, the bar was not full and nobody looked at us to say anything, the bartender as she kept preparing other drinks asked us “what we wanted” and did not give us a menu or anything, we asked for 2 cosmopolitan and we waited for someone to give us a decent service and it didnt happen, we decided to leave the place because its not worth a place that is nice but that they dont make you feel welcome.We definitely left the place without receiving our cosmopolitan, we definitely wouldnt give our money to this place.And now the owner respond my other review and said is a fake review? Well no is not a fake review.

There was no seating, no services and we just stood awkwardly at the bar until we left.

This bar is really weird. The music and decor are corny. Both the menu offerings and the menu copy seem AI generates. Is this a money-laundering front? I will say the cocktails were very good. They were out of tequila (?) but we wanted mezcal anyway.HOW I MISS LUCKY STRIKE!!

Hate leaving a bad review as this bar seems relatively new, but we did not have a great experience at The Ruby. We were excited to try it out as it’s nearby, but from the moment we got there, took 20 minutes for the waitress to take our order and another 20 minutes to get the drinks. The bar wasn’t even half way full, maybe 1/4, not sure what was going on. We got martinis which were some of the worst martinis we’ve had, even our friends tried and agreed. Asked immediately for the check which took another 20 minutes.. just bad service overall unfortunately. Seemed like the 1 waitress was also the hostess, which could have been the error in operations. We will not be back, but wanted to leave our feedback hoping they can improve service and their drinks. Atmosphere was nice.

Perfect date spot with a classy, intimate and relaxed atmosphere — beautiful bar and dining room, friendly staff, and top notch cocktails. Stands in stark contrast to the noisy and chaotic bars in the area. Highly recommend the (temporarily named) Italian Sour — hints of honey, rosemary, cardamom and mezcal were very well-balanced (and unexpected). It’s a perfect cocktail. I’ll be back for another round

We didn’t eat but we had drinks at the bar and had the most lovely experience. Service was amazing. Drinks were delicious. Atmosphere was romantic but not so much so that you couldn’t go with your mom (I was with my mom). Highly recommend.

The Ruby is a new great spot in the area. Cocktails and food are amazing. The service was impeccable. They also have a great selection of wines and bar bites. We will definitely be back!

The crostini was toasted hamburger buns. Crab tacos was imitation crab and the lobster raviolis was in a bowl of grease. Go for drinks only.

Friendly, cozy atmosphere- it’s new to the neighborhood. We sat at the bar this time and had salmon and burrata – delicious. And an excellent mezcal cocktail – the Mezquito(?)
