Really a nice hotel. Its a hotel tucked away. Its quiet and very pretty inside. Wouldnt recommend for families with small children, as its more for couples, professionals, or small families with teenagers. The lobby area is small but beautifully decorated. Breakfast is top notch along with the best part of the hotel: Ben. He was single handedly THE best thing about the Iroquois. He made our family so happy every morning. We will definitely stay there again. Rooms were clean, staff were professional, always had someone open the doors for us or retrieve a taxi. Felt pretty safe here.
I like this place for a business trip. Great location. Nice staff, good service. Reasonably priced. Probably the best hotel shower I’ve had in NYC with heated floors too. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was convenient and good. Will stay again. Thanks
Staff was helpful, location great. The rooms are incredibly SMALL. The breakfast was AWFUL and the breakfast staff was not helpful. Not worth eating there.Hotel is in a great location, there was one morning bar staff member who was amazing and kind. Otherwise we probably wont book here again.
We stayed here over the past weekend June 27-July 1st for our 15 year wedding anniversary from Toronto. We loved this little chic, clean, quiet and classy hotel. It was minutes from Time Square and subway system, yet it wasn’t noisy and even though fairly full, we didn’t hear other guests. We had everything we needed and a nice greeting with upgraded room (free of charge) with wine/cookies waiting for us in our room when we got in late from our delayed flight. Our breakfast was included with our stay and it saved us a fortune! We had bacon & egg sandwiches everyday, chocolate croissants, fresh fruit salad, yogurt and granola. Coffee, cold brew, tea, juice etc. It was great! Our concierge/host/customer service manager was Ben and he was incredible! He lit the breakfast room every morning with his awesome personality and knows the city like the back of his hand. Honestly he had places to send us everyday based on the direction we were already headed in. If you don’t know what to do while in the city, contact him ahead of time! He was so helpful- He knows the scams to avoid and the hot spot, must do’s!Well done and thank you for a wonderful weekend away. We were there for a short time but would have loved to stay longer and will certainly recommend to others.
Nice sized hotel a few blocks off of Times Square. Lobby is underwhelming and small but rooms are “just right” and had great towels, water pressure, beds, and everyone was friendly and helpful. The block the hotel sits on has several other hotels but the overall feel of the street was a tad sparse and dark.Would consider staying again based on price.
Great location and the service was great. Didnt have lotion on the first day but they resolved that. Great work overall. The breakfast is better than most self service, would have liked more cheese danish from the croissants. Seems like they put out one every 1hr.
Iroquois hotel is the perfect location close to all NY has to offer. Kenny at the front desk was the perfect host. I highly recommend.
This darling boutique hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay… we had stayed here in the past & knew we would return! Great location!!!! Reasonable in price compared to others in the area… and the staff is SUPERB!!!! Front desk was always pleasant & helpful, recommended a few great restaurants close! The bellman arranged for a car (same $$$ as Uber but much nicer) scheduled for 7 but he got there a little early, we noticed the breakfast sandwiches delivering, ask the staff if there was anyway they could zap 2 of them for us to have in car… within a few minutes they came out with sandwiches & OJ….WOW!!! Visiting from the Midwest, it is hard to find true hospitality in NY but this hotel is different! We had nothing but kindness from everyone—front desk (thank you Marie), bellman (thanks John). Rooms are a little small (but it’s NY), beds comfy, love the old & new! And yes noises of the street can be heard…. Loved it… the city at its finest!!! We will always stay at this lovely hotel!!
Great hotel, with amazing staff including Kenny, Jayden, Anna & Najai!Accommodated our request to move to a back room on a higher floor - low floor facing street was too loud.Area is less busy than nearby Times Square. Great location.
The Iroquois hotel in Manhattan exceeds expectations in every aspect. Its prime location offers easy access to the bustling heart of the city, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the vibrant energy of Manhattan. Impeccable cleanliness pervades every corner, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic stay for all visitors. The staff exemplify hospitality at its finest, providing attentive and personalized service that enhances the overall experience. From check-in to check-out, the Iroquois hotel delivers a memorable stay, making it a top choice for discerning travelers seeking excellence in hospitality.
Its long overdue for me to share my thoughts about The Iroquois, as Ive been a regular guest here every couple of months for the past year and a half. It has truly become my home away from home, and I could not ask for a better place to stay. The staff here are consistently friendly and welcoming; they make an effort to remember me each time I visit. They maintain the hotel in impeccable condition, ensuring a top-notch experience in the bar and restaurant. I have to give a special shoutout to Maria, who always brightens my day with her warm smile. Truly, she makes the stay so much more enjoyable. The rooms are exceptional, with tasteful decor and spotless cleanliness. I appreciate the array of amenities and accessories provided, although I must warn fellow guests to be cautious when looking at the lovers kit—my curiosity has led to an unexpected charge more than once. However, the staff promptly removes it from your receipt once you tell them you wanted to know what it is. Ha!The cleaning crew goes above and beyond, providing attentive service twice a day. Their turndown service is especially thoughtful, anticipating every need—even pre-warming the floors for a cozy welcome upon returning in the evening.Thank you, Iroquois, for consistently exceeding my expectations. I can’t wait for many, many more years of enjoying your exceptional hotel.
Location was fantastic. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The best part of this stay was the amazing breakfast every morning and the cocktails at the end of the day.The bar is small and intimate but lively and fun.The breakfast options are yummy and easy and the coffee was great too. This little perk is worth it alone.Front desk attendants were very kind and professional considering the space is busy and always something going on.
Great hotel in Manhattan. Beautiful and clean with spacious rooms. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Lanterns keeper bar was beautiful with great drinks.
We had a fantastic time during the ten days we spent at the Iroquois this August. Our room was (for Manhattan standards) very spacious and tidy and the staff was extremely polite and helpful (especially Anthony who welcomed us to the hotel when we arrived). We would be very happy to stay there again - 5/5 stars.Just a very minor comment: the door to our hotel room had a little space between it and the floor. A door sweep or something similar would be super to seal this space. Very minor comment, as stated earlier. We loved our stay!
This is a wonderfully charming hotel with cozy rooms, a lovely breakfast, and the staff at the Iroquois are top notch! The hotel is centrally located, yet the rooms are quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was amazing- fresh pastries from Balthazar, a wide variety of beverages, and a kitchen menu that included everything from a breakfast sandwich to a delicious oatmeal. Ben and Carlos were the highlights of our stay. Ben welcomed us for breakfast and went above and beyond, offering recommendations in the area. Carlos took excellent care of us, helping us get settled in and assisting with our car service- we felt very well taken care of by these two staff members! I would definitely visit the Iroquois Hotel again.
I stayed here during Christmas 2019 with my family. This was a nice luxury hotel. The room was big. The view was nice. I would recommend it.
The Iroquois Hotel is a chic luxury boutique establishment giving you upscale accomodation at affordable prices. The location is absolutely perfect - just on the edge of Times Square but close enough to walk to everything within the tourist must-see sections. The team at the Iroquois will go out of your way to answer questions, provide you with insight or suggestions and serve you with anything you desire. Their breakfast was delightful and simply tasty. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a NYC get a way. You will not only get a New York City feel by this boutique hotel, but also it will be your home away from home during your time exploring NYC.
After a terrible check in at another midtown hotel (Paramount) I moved to the Iroquois. What a wonderful respite at the end of a long evening. The check in staff was wonderful. The room is Manhattan sized but stylish, masculine and luxurious. I hope that they have a special rate for frequent stays because I think that this is even better than an pied a terre! Free delicious breakfast to boot. Only wished it started at 6:30 instead of 7am, but that’s really a me issue.
I have been to the hotel several timesExcellent locationSpacious and clean roomsPerfect breakfast, perfect dining room, pleasant to sit in, fresh and delicious foodThe hotel offers a gymThe hotel offers day trips around New YorkKind and patient serviceReasonable price for New Yorkperfect
We were a 10 minute walk from anywhere we wanted to be. Beautiful building. Super friendly staff - very accommodating - very pleasant. I felt like royalty stayed there. The rooms were smaller than I’m used to, but very glamorous. Thank you for a memorable weekend!!
My son and I came down from Baltimore to catch the Knicks game. We were celebrating our birthdays, we stayed one night here and our stay was amazing. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They provided great service! Ill book again in the future.
Excellent location near to Times Square, but on a relatively quiet street for Midtown.Nice rooms, slightly let down initially with a connecting door which does nothing to eliminate sound from the adjoining room. Front desk moved us with out fuss into a room with no connecting door.Would recommend asking for a room without connecting door upfront.Nice bar with great cocktails. Breakfast was a bit of a let down, but as it was free it was welcome. Anyway there was a nice diner nearby on the same street.Would happily return, value for its location was excellent.
This hotel was such an amazing experience. The staff was incredible especially Ben every morning at breakfast, which was also so delicious! The hotel is clean and has character. Perfectly centrally located. The rooms are a nice size and the bathrooms are great. I loved how they gave us bottled water everyday. The energy of the hotel felt like home. I will definitely be choosing this hotel anytime I stay in New York. Much better than a big hotel.
Loved our short two night stay at Iroquois! The staff went over the top to make sure our stay was exactly what we were looking for.Our Junior Suite was spacious, quiet, and enough room for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids). We will be using Iroquois for future stays!
Stayed at the Irroqouis for 3 nights, don’t have anything negative to say. The rooms were beautiful and clean, Great location, close to Times Square, Bryant park and subway. Maybe the breakfast can improve a little with a little more options, but the other than that amazing. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating, especially Anthony, always asking how our day was and always had a smile on his face. I will be back for sure! Great job Irroqouis!
The hotel is perfectly located from the business and tourist places both.. no great views from the room but its perfect for a business stay.. the lobby/reception area is really dark especially when entering from a sunny day. they do keep some crackers and cheese for evenings along with good collections of wines !
Such a great hotel! I the location is great! Its really close to Grand Central which is great. 😍I also loved our large room. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I will be back soon!
We stayed here for 3 nights/4 days. The hotel was extremely accommodating and held our luggage, as we arrived early and checkout was 2 hours before we needed to leave. The staff (all of them) were marvelous and really made us feel special. We especially greatly appreciated the complimentary upgrade to our room, as it was our son’s first visit to NY. He was blown away by the size of the room (presidential suite). The steam shower was amazing and the bed and pillows were comfortable! The room was very clean and room service was fantastic. We would absolutely stay here again without a doubt. The only thing we wished we had was a microwave. Our only disappointment was the grab and go breakfast, but I really am not going to complain about that given the current situation with covid, as many hotels aren’t offering any food/room service at this time.
Location is admirable, restaurants, shops, Broadway theaters and metro stations - everything to reach in 10 mins.Great and supporting stuff, we got precious recommendations.Great atmosphere at the nice bar - outstanding and engaged barkeeper.in general calm room but some slamming doors and a noisy fan in the inner courtyard.Opening hours of bar and kitchen sufficient but little shortGreat days, obliging staff, dignified - near cosy - atmosphere, a welcoming stay!
A 2/3 star hotel masquerading as a 4 star. third time visiting NYC, and previously we had stayed in the Westin Times Square, but thought it would be nice to try somewhere closer to Bryant Park with more character for this trip. This was a huge mistake. The grab and go breakfast space doesn’t work. The food was fresh, but the room is tiny and inaccessible. Ended up going out and buying breakfast everyday rather than deal with the hassle of queuing in that tiny, crammed room. Secondly, decor is tired. The lobby and bar are stunning, but the same amount of time and effort has not been put into the rooms. They are dark, dingy and quite frankly, dirty. The wooden blinds were covered with dust as were the surfaces of the desk and nightstands, and there were cobwebs. Sheets and towels were replaced regularly but I honestly don’t believe my room was cleaned once my whole 8 day trip. I know for a fact the bathroom wasn’t cleaned, as I would have to wipe down the surfaces myself every night despite the cleaners coming TWICE a day. Shower took at least 10 minutes to heat up and bath products were not topped up even when empty. Thirdly, both me and my parents had to move rooms, and noticed a lot of other guests having to do the same. parents had to move after the first night because of a loud and relentless buzzing noise coming from their room and I had to change because of an issue with the aircon. I had come back one afternoon to find my aircon stuck at 79 degrees. I was told I could change rooms and that someone would contact me once they’d found me a room, which they never did, and by the time I contacted them back I was told there were no free rooms. had to keep calling front desk throughout the night to get answers, and eventually a maintenance man came to check my aircon and told me outright that it was broken and he had no idea what to do, and said the hotel had not trained him for this. He even accidentally turned the temperature of my room up even higher in the process, and he showed me a list of other rooms that were having the same issue despite the manager telling me everybody else’s aircon was fixed and I was the only one having issues. 1:30am I called and asked if I could at least have a bucket of ice brought up to my room and the manager said they’d be right up, but they never came and I had to go down myself and ask for water and the ice bucket. Throughout the whole ordeal I felt the manager was bored of having to talk to me about the issues going on in my room. The following day I had the same issue, and thankfully this time they moved me for my final two nights into a room with working aircon. My parents air con also broke, but since they had already moved once, had no choice but to stay in the boiling room with a broken fan in 83 degree heat. I was refunded for the night I had to spend in the hot room but honestly, the amount of time of my trip I spent contacting the front desk or stressing about the broken air con, getting up in the morning having barely slept due to the heat and coming back to relax in my room after a long hot day, only to find my room was hotter than outside was unforgivable, and I quite frankly believe that the Iroquois ruined my trip. What hotel allows multiple customers to sleep in 80 degree rooms all night rather than call out a 24hr engineer? A customers’ comfort should be the number one priority, especially from a hotel CLAIMING to be a 4-star. Looking at the positives, the location is good and MOST of the staff are lovely and friendly, particularly the young man at the front desk with dark hair and a moustache was amazing, and his level of service was that of a much better hotel than the one he is currently at. I really would recommend looking elsewhere when looking for a central hotel, as this one was so disappointing.
4 star boutique hotel near Time square. We booked for 2 nights. The location was great, we arrived from EWR, took the CoachUSA NYC airport bus that dropped us off at Bryant Park and it was a 8 min walk to the hotel.Check in was quick and easy (yes there is a Resort Fees but everywhere does as well)We had a Queen Deluxe room.Bed was soft and comfy, AC was working, water pressure was ok,Room was cleanish; had some white hairs on the washroom counter but we just wiped and covered it.Place was quiet.Surrounding was safe. Some Renos going on in the hotel but no noise heard. The free breakfast was great every morning.Only thing was wifi was a little spotty and slow maybe it was because where our room was? But in the lobby wifi was fine.Overall it was a good stay, def will recommend. Not perfect but you pay for what you get especially in Manhattan and near Time Square.
Make sure to check your bill closely after leaving this hotel. They give you a “free drink voucher” to go to the bar in the lobby but then will charge it to your room afterwards anyways. Pretty sneaky.
Very small room, very very limited breakfast options but excellent service from he front desk and bell boy.It was raining heavily and we checked out... but still they have helped
Great Location, very clean. Rooms were kinda small with only 1 bed which really wasnt a problem. Breakfast was OK, couldve been better for the price. We stayed there for 3 nights. The mattress was to soft for me , messed up my back . I need Xtra firm, slept on the floor for the second and third nights.
Pleasantly surprised. Location was excellent. Room (one bedroom suite) was clean and spacious. Robes and slippers were provided. Comfy bed and luxury towels and linens (Frette brand). Bathroom was updated with glass showers and premium bath products. The breakfast was simple yet tasty (choice of breakfast sandwich, Greek yogurt parfait, oatmeal or pastries). Cons include lack of onsite restaurant, dated TV, and small elevators but those points wouldn’t discourage us from staying here again.
Wow, I love this place. The service, especially from Jay, was incredible. I got food poisoning and he came to the rescue, making sure we could keep our room an extra day, got extra towels and quick housekeeping when I finally toddled out of the hotel.
Most comfortable bed Ive ever slept in. Helpful staff. Felt safe & homely. Loved the Christmas decorations. Perfect location for accessing Bryant Park & an easy place to stay for getting to anywhere in the city for shopping.
This is a beautiful boutique hotel in an absolutely perfect location. You can get anywhere in town within 20 minutes. They currently have no restraunt and their coffee cart is only setup a few hours in the morning. There is no coffee pot in the room, a definite minus. The rooms are small but comfortable, and the water pressure is not so good. Everyone working at the hotel was wonderful and very helpful. There is a coffee shop across the street that is open until 6 I think, but also a cafe called the red flame just down the street. We ate breakfast there every day we were there. Everything was very good.
Elegant, cozy, quiet, and in a great location. The bed was so comfy, service was friendly and professional, always someone there to open the door and greet you but without the fuss and bustle of a bigger hotel. The tiled bathroom was beautiful and had its own temp control. We loved our stay and will definitely come back!
Nice hotel and location. All staff were pleasant. Breakfast was poor. High volume of plastic waste and limited choices. Microwave breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, juice, and coffee. Coffee was exceptionally bad. Didnt smell like coffee. There are some near by coffee shops that hit the mark though.FYI: Room did not have a fridge for personal items on arrival, only for hotel vending. An additional fridge can be requested. However, this does no favors to the small size of the room.
Great hotel and location. Rooms have recently been renovated and everything is 5 stars. The staff is excellent and you get the feel of individual attention because it’s a smaller hotel. Everything was quick and easy. All of our requests were accommodated and we can’t wait to be back. Thanks so much for making my weekend trip memorable.
Excellent stay In suite room. Friendly staff, very clean rooms, comfortable bed, nice mini bar, small but clean bath all at decent price of about $500 per night. We had a very peaceful night sleep as it was very quiet in the hotel even for a weekend. The bar at the rear of the lobby is a really nice and unique space. They offer handmade crafted cocktails and light fare with a side of witty banter from the bartenders. My only issue was that are sinks stopper in our bathroom was stuck in the down position and I informed the front desk who said it would be fixed right away. It wasnt until the following morning at around 9 a.m. rigjt before we left that maintenance showed up.
I stayed for New Years (December 31 - January 1) at this hotel. From looking at all of the reviews and the companys website itself, it looked like a true 5 star hotel with exceptional service. My room had a brown stain on the sheets of the bed so they were clearly not clean. The TV was not in working order. The bathroom sink was also not in perfectly good working order. On the hotels website it says the windows are soundproof, however, I could hear the traffic very well all throughout the night. The worst experience I had was with the communication with the hotel. I called the day before I was to check in and was told they have valet parking and self-parking. Self parking was at the Icon or right across the street at Park Fast. I chose Park Fast due to the proximity of the hotel. Upon check-out I was told they do not work/validate Park Fast. I could care less about the few dollars I would have saved. How can you be a 5 star hotel and not know information about your hotel.Would not recommend this hotel. Service is everything and it was clearly not here.
My wife used their conference room for some private clients. We were treated with the utmost professionalism. Manya was excellent to work with. A beautiful Hotel in a great location.
This is a great classic hotel in midtown. The service is fantastic. The location is central to everything in Manhattan. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are great. This is not a new cookie cutter hotel. This hotel has a lot of character.
Anthony & Emilio are the best hotel crew I’ve come across in all the travel I’ve done !They were able to help & guide with any request and were always pleased to help.Definitively had a wonderful stay (8 nights) All the staff was very nice as well. The localisation is ideal, would recommend 10/10
I booked a park and stay package. When we arrived yesterday, the hotel said they are not offering parking or valet service. The assistant manager ended up cutting our room rate in half (which I will verify at checkout; I’m glad I printed out my confirmation with the total on it, because I don’t think she has the numbers right.) I had to self park in the lot one block over.Today, we were out all day. When we returned at 3:30 p.m., our room hadn’t been made up. I called the front desk and was asked if I had requested housekeeping service. No. Why would I request a service every hotel offers? At check-in, we were not told we would have to request housekeeping. So while we were counting on an afternoon break and a chance to put our feet up, we are sitting in the hotel lobby while our room is being serviced. (It’s a good thing we were listening for housekeeping, because the front desk sent her to the wrong room. We intercepted her.)The WiFi is too slow to load most web pages. I tried to send photos of our trip to my family, and I had to turn WiFi off and use cellular to do that. Our Chrysler View Premium Queen is supposed to be 250 square feet. I can’t believe it’s that big. The bathroom is tiny, and the room itself is about 12 x 12. The bump out where the desk is measures about a foot, and it doesn’t span the width of the room.We last stayed at The Iroquois five years ago, and we enjoyed our stay. It feels more like a cut-rate hotel now, and we won’t stay here again. All that said, the doorman was very helpful and friendly.
There are lots of “4-star” hotels. This one gets 5 from me because it’s a great balance of space and people. The staff was incredible. They were very gracious and easy to be with. The king room on the top floor was perfect. Overpriced mini bar but who cares. Basic room but super comfortable where it counts.I’d stay here again for sure.
Super safe, convenient location. In between Times Square and the NY Public library. Rooms are small (typical in NYC) but adequate and nicely furnished. Photos online are very representational of your room. One note, if you are a heavier person, the toilet may be tight for you. It is between the wall and sink and if you are tight in airplane seats, you will be tight on their toilet, fyi. Otherwise, hotel was just perfect for our needs and priced well. Very clean, bed was comfy and bath had soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap and hairdryer provided. No fridge, which would have been nice.
Great small hotel right in the heart of midtown. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. The staff were all friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations. Unfortunately the restaurant was under renovation this summer so we did not have in-house food or drink, but there is plenty nearby. The location is less than ten minutes walk from the heart of Broadway and Times Square, and nearly adjacent to Bryant Park. We also enjoyed a stroll through Central Park, which is less than 20 minutes away walking along the shopping of fifth Avenue.
This front desk team was outstanding! They helped me easily set up credit card authorization and were incredibly quick to help me fix / extend a reservation for an extra night without having to move the client out of the room! They even initiated changing the rate of my package when they learned we wouldn’t be needing the breakfast portion of our rate! I would definitely recommend choosing this hotel for lodging clients, you can really rely that this team will have your back! Thanks guys!
This is our first time visiting NYC and we are glad we chose Iroquois for our stay. I had a special request and Charlie was kind enough to service that . The rooms are small but they have everything almost everything that you need for the stay (no microwave ) Extra points for the bathroom decor . Housekeeping is prompt , they offer complementary breakfast voucher at the diner next door on Sunday and Monday. The other days they Offer fruits And yoghurt/muffin . Coffee is available in the lobby. There are also complementary water bottles at the front desk which they are happy to hand out when requested . Its a great location and I would highly recommend staying here .
My toddler, wife, her brother & I stayed here for over a week this time last year.As a boutique hotel, we expected a small room but with 3 adults & a toddler, we were seriously living in each others pockets. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. They offered us the Presidential Suite to which we stupidly declined. Still we have unanimously voted that this is the best hotel to stay in throughout NYC.So close to everything. Great staff & the restaurant / bar is top notch!
Nice boutique hotel. Great location, service, etc… and breakfast was simple and met all my needs. Would 100% book again.
Great location and great check in experience. Anthony was awesome at the front desk, very engaging and passionate and you can tell he really enjoys interacting with guests and wants to make them feel super welcome. Its awesome staff members like that which make the difference!
The best hotel in NYC! My sisters and I had a king suite with an adjoining king room. Lots of space for 3 people. The staff was incredibly accommodating - even going so far as to replace a mug that housekeeping accidentally broke with an exact replica. We were blown away. Beds were comfy, bathrooms spacious. I can hardly wait to stay again!
The location is great. The value for money is fair and good for Manhattan. For this time period and the current Covid situation, it was an ok choice. We informed the concierge when we arrived that we wanted to pay cash during the checkout. The concierge said that is not a problem and he is keeping the card blocked with the deposit amount of 300 USD$ only. On the last day when we proceeded to check out, we learned that ALL the amount of the 4 nights were deducted from the credit card. The reimbursement takes now 14 days to get back to our credit card. It is essential that a hotel is not making mistakes with such a request and this caused us a lot of issues and problems. The pickup breakfast was horrible and has no value for money, in addition when you order granola in the bag there is no spoon to eat it. The coffee is cold. The rooms are tiny and it is not cleaned properly
This hotel has an unbeatable location.Easy access to the subway and in the middle of everything. The continental breakfast included was also really good.Staff was friendly and kind.Rooms were small but an average for NYC.We would stay here again.
Great hotel in a good area if you are in NYC for the tourist based activities. Close to subways and buses stations. The staff were friendly and always helpful during my 5 night stay. I should note that not all rooms have individual AC as it is only included in premium rooms. I asked about this and was offered to upgrade for a certain rate. This being said, the hotel does have central AC that all the other rooms are serviced by.Due to my longer stay the hotel staff upgraded me to a larger size room which was nice. There is coffee in the mornings for you in the lobby library, and water in the afternoons which was also convenient.
Excellent small hotel in a great NYC midtown location. Staff is very friendly and makes every effort to make your stay comfortable. Most the the rooms (if not all) have recently been redone with a more modern approach. Great bar downstairs (I have previously reviewed the bar). Walking distance to tourist attractions only a few blocks away. If driving the is a modern and safe 24/7 indoor parking garage across the street. Absolutely an excellent place to stay in NYC.
I have only positive thing to say about our stay for a weekend get away to NY City. This hotel is right in a heart of the action, so close to Times Square and Broadway district. Our room was quite spacious, meticulously clean and fresh, with comfortable bedding and signature robes. The staff is amazing, both Anthony and Anna are pleasant, polished and polite, service was quick and we were able to check-in two hours earlier than supposed to. The hotel is partially under renovation, but you can hardly notice it and they are partnering with the next door French-American cousin restaurant and our lunch for two was delicious and reasonably priced.
Wonderful stay for my girlfriends birthday- location is great, close to Times Square. Reasonable rates. Service was exceptional- they upgraded us to a bigger room without us asking! 🍊
This review is a little overdue, nonetheless I wanted to leave this review for a number of reason. The location is excellent, nestled in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, easy access to 5th Ave, 6tg Ave and Times Square about a 10 min walk. Plenty of good restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The check in experience was not the greatest. The room was not what we booked and its likely that the person who did the check-in thought we will not uncover that. My initial interaction with the front desk staff was, to say the least like talking to a brick wall. There was no emotion, empathy. Very robotic in his approach, this individual does not belong in the hospitality industry, perhaps a job at Rikers will be better suited for him. However, there are individuals like David who use logic and still understand what Guest Standards are, as he went out of his way to ensure that the room was changed, as the visit was to mark a significant milestone, 55th Wedding Anniversary. I want to thank David once again, but do not want to forget the hospitality and courtesy of Anna, Carlos and Manik. If it werent for these individuals, the stay wouldnt have been as pleasant. The Iroquois is a petite boutique hotel in a historic building from the 1800s, it has its charm and quirks. Thanks to the awesome team once again!
This was the worst hotel experience I ever had. When I checked in, the building had no running water or air conditioning. I paid for a deluxe king room on a high floor which is the biggest rip off. I learned the only difference between a regular king and deluxe king was the view. Dont waste your time or money on this horrendous hotel. There was absolutely no view from the 11th floor. All you saw was the buildings next to you and a view of 44th street. The room was old, outdated decor, extremely dusty and HOT!!! I gave management ample opportunity to correct the situation but ended up checking out and moving to a different hotel. They originally offered to rebook me at a sister property called The Evelyn Nomad. I checked last minute rates and this hotel which was newer and more modern was cheaper than my original reservation with the Iroquois hotel which was booked in advance. Total rip off, terrible service. If this is considered a 5 star property, I wonder when was the last time anyone who rated this hotel actually stayed at a 5 star property? Looking for luxury?? Avoid this hotel at all costs! Not worth the money at all. My entire first day of my weekend NYC getaway was ruined and all I got was an apology after fighting for a full refund and rebooking myself into a different property last minute.
Stayed here for 4 days. Very friendly desk staff. Historic hotel with rooms updated but still very small especially for the price ($220). Room was smaller than my two car garage (not exaggerating). Plan to pay $40 - $60 for parking per day. Lots of places to walk to eat but either very overpriced and/or very poor quality food. Plan on walking everywhere or taking cab or bus. Budget accordingly if youre visiting.
What a great hotel. The hotel is well run with very friendly staff. Jay at the front desk is absolutely wonderful.
Great central location. Comfortable rooms and very pleasant helpful staff. Very good value for NYC. Highly recommend.
Beautiful boutique hotel. Very clean rooms, awesome service, unrivaled location! Stayed here while going to a Broadway show and it was super convenient. Cant wait to be back for another visit.
Amazing location and staff. Rooms had all the little touches I wanted. The bar in back is a hidden gem. Cant wait for my next stay in NYC.
Didnt get to sleep until 3 AM because there was incredibly loud music that felt like it was being pumped directly into the room. Was given a new and quieter room which helped, but this was at 3 AM. Was woken up by housekeeping at 8:30 while trying to catch up on lost sleep even though I had the do not disturb sign hanging on the door. Upon checkout I was told they would waive the minibar charges to compensate, and I told them that I didnt use the minibar. Their answer: well, if you had used it, we would have waived it. I told them that doesnt solve anything at all, and the answer was Im very sorry. Not at all the kind of customer service one expects from booking a supposedly high end hotel.
Hotels get torn apart on Yelp, so any hotel that has a 4+ rating, book it no questions asked. My wife, newborn daughter, and I stayed here for one night in March 2017 and would recommend it to anyone willing to pay NYC hotel prices ($250+ a night). Heres why:1) Location: The Iroquois Hotel is in a small historic building in the Theater District. Its two blocks from a beautiful park, Bryant Park, and 3-4 blocks from Times Square. Even though youre so close to the bright lights and crowds of tourists, you still feel like youre in your own neighborhood.2) Service: If the awards theyve won displayed in the lobby arent enough to convince you, just check in and see for yourself. The people at the front desk are very friendly and youre given a welcome letter, fruit, chocolates, and info on free walking tours around NYC.3) Amenities: For NYC, the rooms are bigger than most (Keep in mind its the city So hotel rooms are not as spacious as the Holiday Inn in Grand Rapids, Michigan). Each room has an iron, safe, mini bar and the beds are sooooooo soft. Wow! The bathrooms are filled with top line toiletries. On the third floor is a 24/7 gym with treadmills, weights and weight machines AND a sauna! In the lobby, theres a restaurant and a 4 star cocktail bar where you can bring your drinks to your room.4) Kid friendly: They welcome kids and even provide a crib, etc at no charge. They even give your kids their own welcome kit.I cannot recommend this hotel more. Next time youre in NYC, book it!
Fantastic hotel in a great location. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in NYC. Central location and the staff were very friendly and professional. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room given there was three of us. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location, very friendly staff and comfortable beds. This was overall an excellent stay. A few downsides were the valet takes awhile to get your car (35 min for me) and the sink water would come out brown at first.
Small, comfortable, and classy, but not ostentatious. Rooms felt like a bedroom in someones home instead of a cold, cookie - cutter hotel room. Disappointed that restaurant and bar were being renovated during my recent stay, but thats just a temporary thing. Will return.
The room was small, which is somewhat to be expected in midtown Manhattan. The service however was excellent as was the room service food. There was no view, even on the 11th floor but I wasnt in the room much anyhow. Pretty central (and a moderate walk) to many thing in Manhattan. Over all, for the price it was an excellent value.
Great hotel in Times Square area. Desk staff was great, rooms were good size for New York and Cameron was awesome.
I love this place. It is really nice and everything we could possibly ask for was there. Free wifi and sauna with fitness center (not sure if these are free) were there as well. The hotel is a bit small but that doesnt make it bad or anything. One thing that I didnt like was furniture but that didnt ruin the overall experience
The hotel was practically empty - January in Covid time :-(Shower was very weak. The bathroom was pretty small and cold (floor heat did t work). The bathroom door handle fell after the first use.We asked for a quite room ahead of time and verified again upon check in and we’re told “yes, away from elevator “.We got a room in the back of the elevator shaft where we heard every one that used it on our floor. The room was smelly .The windows have “blinds” which do not block the light completely. There is a big gap under the door.No coffee/ tea in the room and before you say COVID, the “mini bar” was fully stock AND more stuff for sale on top (and don’t dare to put anything in the fridge - they’ll charge you $25! In all my extensive travels over the world I never encounter anything like that…).One day There were drilling (and other) noises from around 8am ( Sounded like work in the hotel) and the next day construction noises that started before 8:00 am.We were promised free upgrade and drinks every day (by Hotels.com) but we’re offered neither .And as a farewell, they posted $28+ @ day “resort fee” (for what? Did I miss the pool? The beach?) which they did NOT disclosed upon check-in.You won’t see us again Iroquois …
Beautiful, affordable boutique hotel smack dab in the middle of the action, but just far enough from Times Square to be convenient, but not crazy. Lanterns Keep Lounge is a cocktail lovers dream... Great small plates too.
Everything was clean, elegant, and comfortable. The staffs number one concern was service to us. I loved the library where they had delicious coffee, tea and water. Will recommend this place to everyone, especially friends that have AMEX for the booking discount.
We stayed here on our relocation trip to find the perfect apartment... and the staff at The Iroquois immediately made us feel at home! We loved the boutique rooms mixed with convenient location and yummy breakfast options! Thank you!
Classic old NYC hotel. Met my daughter there (she was a guest), we had a great lunch at a local restaurant. This is a real find, just a little off the beaten path; but top quality services and nice quiet rooms.
It was a beautiful hotel and very clean. The staff were so nice and so helpful! They welcomed us every time we came in from our site seeing. I absolutely will stay here again!
A great location to see all the tourist sights and shows in the very heart of Manhattan. The hotel is lovely, clean and the rooms excellent. The service and staff really look after you and nothing is too much trouble. If you are visiting New York, this is the place to stay.
Like its neighbor The Algonquin, The Iroguois is what I think of as a typical Midtown hotel - charmingly old, with tiny rooms, and an old-fashioned kick-ass cocktail bar (in this case, the Lanterns Keep). Downsides: you pay for the location not the accommodations, so its on the pricey side (expect $500 for a standard weeknight room), rooms are small, plumbing is old so drains dont work so well. Upsides: great location (close to Bryant Park and Times Square), stellar front desk staff, amazing cocktail bar, Molton Brown toiletries and Frette linens.
Room was small but comfortable and staff was super nice. Great location.
Not recommended Di]ue to following reasons (experienced during my stay)- Unfriendly and not helpful staff (including reception- They have no kitchen functional and still take money for bfast (then provide just one burger per person at bfast- Seems quite unsafe too (as there was no security at the gate)
Rooms are small but functional but you are paying for the location. Our family of 4 enjoyed it a lot
We arrived here two days ago. This hotel is beautiful. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. My bed is comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Beautiful building, and the service is honestly the best Ive ever encountered at a hotel anywhere in the US. Between that and the reasonable (for Times Square) room rates, it just hopped to the top of my list of recommendations for out-of-town guests.
Great location in midtown right next to times square, older style rooms, but good size. Staff is not super helpful, but theyre alright. Good roomservice. Very quiet at night, but also a bit too warm.
Me and my wife stayed here for the weekend . We found the bed uncomfortable, the room was too hot unless you leave the window open but then you hear the noise and cant sleep. The pillows were hard as a rock . Other than that the place is ok
Good location but very cold rooms, unreally cold. Unstable internet. only one working elevator of two on 12 floors busy hotel, full of people, waiting for it took for 5-7 minutes waiting. Friendly stuff. Small bathroom.
I stay here almost once or twice a month and love the staff and amenities and location. Thank you! The one problem i struggle with is the lack of coffee. No coffee maker in room, none available upon request, and the lobby coffee isn’t available until 7am, which is way too late. Your only option is to walk across street at 6am, which is also not attractive. If they can figure this out this may be the only hotel i stay in NYC from now on, otherwise i may need to find another place!
This is my second stay, and I have to say the new bar in the lobby was a pleasant surprise. The staff is always courteous and helpful and whoever makes the cheeseburgers is a gem.
Management is totally unresponsive to the needs of guest.Food and beverage manager is discourteous and argumentative. The general manager could care less. I called him several times, he did not return my call. This is both poor management and a lack of even the most basic social skills.
Room was quite small and bathroom was small too. Werent many breakfast options. Was close to Times Square and some restaurants which was good.
I REALLY enjoyed a top-notch on all fronts experience at Hotel Iroquois. Both the hotel staff and restaurant staff leave me with great memories of busy Manhattan. Chat a bit with Chef Florian if you get the chance--fascinating guy!!
Im used to larger rooms but if youre traveling alone and for work, this hotel is in a great location.
Rooms are small but very clean and bed is very comfortable and they have breakfast
Overall good, Room service not the best, very small menu after hours, closed at times and on Saturday.Good location.Good price on the upscale hotels.
No coffee machine on the premises or glasses in the room even though there’s a fully stocked mini bar.
This hotel is outdated and antiquated. I felt like i was staying at grandmas apartment in the 1950s. Also there was no proper towels provided for bathing. Just 2 little wash cloths. Customer service at the front desk was okay but not great. I felt a cold vibe coming from the staff.
My favourite hotel in midtown Manhattan
Excellent from start to finish. A family of four. The service from the doormen, reception staff, breakfast staff and barman was excellent. Room could have been bigger as not much space to store cases and clothes but for us it was completely made up for by the staff, location and relaxed feel. Very attentive, good humoured and a lovely relaxed stay. No waiting for the lift or queing for breakfast. Breakfast was simple but very nice.Might get bored of it if staying for longer than 5 nights. Cant fault our stay.
Beautiful clean rooms, great staff and close enough to the touristy spots, without having to deal with the touristy spots; unless thats what youre looking for.
Perfect location. Not too noisy and close to everything. Service was fantastic. Nice and charming staff
Stayed at the hotel with my wife and two children, and it was simply splendid! All the staff were friendly and helpful, not something you always expect in New York City! The location is perfect near to Times Square grand Central, and everything there is to do in Midtown. We received two free vouchers for cocktail drinks, which I thought was a typical throwaway, but we actually cashed in for legit cocktails (Try the old-fashioned). The free breakfast exceeded our expectations with grab and go options plus hot Plates to order. Overall, we were very pleased with the character and vibe of this boutique hotel. Very much added another layer to our New York experience. We are happy we booked this hotel over one of the traditional brands.
Welcoming staff. Was a fantastic location in Midtown. Clean and comfortable room. Would def recommend and will stay here again.
The good: Location, and amazingly helpful staff. The bad: tiny rooms (even by NY standard), no coffee maker in the room, and one, slow elevator. This is NOT a 4 star hotel.
Very pleasant staff. High consideration and support by staff, beautiful reception although small, its new York.
Would give it 5 stars but the lobby is under renovations and there is only 1 lift currently. Once they are done Im sure it will be much better
Rude staff got room through booking.com canceled within my time and still got charged. Contacted them very rude nonchalant staff. Had to get booking.com yo confirm my information and make them give me a refund. Will never book here or through booking.com
I want to love this place. Its near everything I love to do.But I cant. There is no ice machine. So you have to wait up to an hour for some ice.The temp in the KING PREMIUM suites NEVER works. The staff just yells at you and tells you to wait 30 minutes and try again. This is my third visit, I WANT to love it, but I have to say avoid. Now I have to live in this hell for 400.00 a night for a cot, with nothing to drink, in a room too warm to sleep.
This hotel is awesome. Competitively priced for what you get. Rooms are nice, bathrooms are nice, and the location is great.
Not a big and modern Hotel. But you can get good services from kind staffs and convenient location helps you for your trip.
Stayed here for my birthday weekend. Meticulously clean, friendly & helpful staff, & in one of the best locations in the city. Highly recommend
Fantastic front desk staff made for a pleasant stress free visit to NYC. Will be back again on our next visit!
Very cosy and spotlessly clean hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Fantastic location. Will definitely be back again.
We stayed here for my Husbands 40th Birthday. Very clean and friendly staff and they provided a treat for us which was very thoughtful. Breakfast was good and delicious. Our room was by the elevator but we didnt hear any noises. Definitely recommend!
My second time here in 3 days..albiet paying double then last time due to high season however worth every bit..super well located but most importantly they have a very pleasant staff which makes ur stay comfortable and pleasant
The staff made the stay very enjoyable. They had nice rooms and a very good location.
The service was outstanding!! We had a view of the Chrysler building, phenomenal. I chose this hotel for the sauna, and did not get to try it. Hopefully next time!
Housekeeping not available everyday, booked a junior suite but it just feel like an ordinary hotel room
Really great value for money! Central location and clean rooms. People at concierge are smiling and very welcoming. One pain point: breakfast is very poor but there are very good breakfast diners nearby (Red flame my fsvourite)
Great hotel and a good price. Staff was great and the hotel is immaculate. Would definitely return.
The hotel is an oasis next to 5th Ave. Staff here are so helpful and friendly. Bedrooms are excellent.
10/5. Our experience at this hotel was wonderful. Conveniently located near many attractions but still very quiet and away from the craziness. The customer service was great, the grab and go breakfast was delicious, and the cocktails were the best I have ever had. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to New York City.
Nestled in an ideal location, Hotel Iroquois offers the convenience of being just minutes away from iconic New York landmarks such as Times Square, the elegant stores on Fifth Avenue, and the serene expanse of Central Park. The standout feature of this hotel is its impeccable staff, whose dedication to service enhances the overall experience. The rooms, recently renovated, exude a fresh and clean ambiance, making for a comfortable stay. The pricing is reasonable, especially considering the inclusion of a convenient grab and go breakfast. The hotel is also on the verge of opening a new restaurant, adding to its appeal. The beds are a highlight—comfortable and paired with delightfully fragrant toiletries, ensuring a restful sleep. It’s a perfect choice for travelers seeking both comfort and convenience.A gentle note for potential guests: while the Queen-sized beds are cozy and well-designed, they are on the smaller side. For those who prefer more personal space while sleeping, opting for a larger room might be a wise choice.Overall, Hotel Iroquois is definitely worth a visit for anyone looking to explore New York City from a comfortable and conveniently located bases
Great staff, rooms are cozy and have a filled mini fridge and offers room service at all times.
We love this hotel! The location is great, the amenities are wonderful and the staff is amazing! Kamille, John, Anna and the manager Yomaly are outstanding at their jobs! They took care of all our needs and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. We are coming back for sure!
The barmen guy was so so rude!i dont think there is a culture of service quality there, and the menu wasnt good, what you order there comes something which is a big dissappointment!highly Dont recommended!
The location of the hotel is simply very good. Near to the most important sights of New York and very good connection to the metro. The staff is very nice, polite and is available for all questions. The rooms are very clean and sufficiently equipped with towels. The housekeeping also works with care.Unfortunately, there is a need for improvement: breakfast & loud rooms. Unfortunately, there is only the possibility to choose between the following options every morning:1. Burger with egg & cheese2. Burger with bacon3. Milk & Muesli4. Yoghurt with muesli5. Sweet pastries+ 1 orange juice+ All you can drink coffee+ TeaThe water was directly on the table for the first few days, after a few days you had to pick it up at the reception.
Great location, great service, great rates. Room a little small, which is fine, but also needed more outlets.
Clean rooms, convenient location in mid-town, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Great stay.
The room was very impressive; I wasnt expecting that much space for that low price. Anthony and Isa at the front desk were very welcoming, and Rondell was more than willing to help with our bags or local bars & eateries advice. The Lanterns Keep bar area downstairs was super cozy and had a nice cocktail/tapas type menu, I suggest the Strawberry Fields. There was free wifi, sauna/gym on the third floor, and many free amenities, such as a daily newspaper, toiletries, or even umbrellas if its raining. Grand Central Station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, which was extremely convenient for us. There is more I could say, but I will finish with the fact that this was an EXCELLENT stay for us, and we will for sure stay here again.
The perfect location... just a couple blocks from time square. You will still be with the crowd but sleep peacefully at night. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy. If thats not enough, top notch customer service provided by Ms. Isa and Mr. Rondell. They both went above and beyond to assist us, made suggestions and gave us directions. They were very kind and understanding. Everytime we saw them, they greeted us with a smile. We appreciate our stay and will be back!
We stayed at the Iroquois for three nights last weekend with another couple. What a great little hotel! Perfect location literally blocks from everything, amazing, kind and responsive staff, clean, comfortable little rooms, and an included breakfast. Not to mention a wine and cheese happy hour a couple days a week.We all loved this place. Not sure why people would complain about a free breakfast. Yeah, its not an omelet bar, but it had several hot and cold options that were all very good. The coffee wasnt bad either.Oh, and we were there during the flooding. Staff made sure there were plenty of umbrellas for guests to use and would go out of their way to grab a taxi. Really great service.
Very neat hotel. Friendly staff. Great location
Rooms are simply gorgeous. Step into old world luxury with modern amenities in a fantastic location!
Staff really helpful and polite, rooms a bit small but fine, like the little touches such as the infused water in the library
Great location, remodeling coming along. Awesome staff. Love this hotel.
I was prepared to give a glowing recommendation for this convenient, clean, although small rooms hotel. However this morning I was surprised by the gruff front desk agent about the facility fee of around $40 per night.I wont pretend that Iroquois is the only hotel to charge this, but how they informed me at checkout (no mention during checkin) was a bit shady. Its for the fitness center and library he said, both of which I had no clue where their location was.Just be aware. Otherwise it was a nice quiet stay.
Everything was perfect from the room to the service to the location itself!! We will definitely be staying here again!
I wasnt impressed with the furnishings and decor for the price. My room was kind of shabby to be honest.
Great bar lovely staff awesome drinks
Great hotel near times square. Heated bathroom floors and friendly staff.
Room is small and old but well maintained. Not sure if theres anyone next door, I didnt hear any noise apart from people taking the elevator.
I would live here if I could. The service and location are top tier. The rooms are a vibe, even the smaller rooms. Love the grab & go breakfast. Highly recommend!!
It was my wifes birthday/weekendgetaway. The room was nice, but the view I paid extra for was not impressive. We were staring at a wall, no view at all. There was no microwave or fridge for guests. I had expired food and drinks in the mini bar fridge. The heat/ac didnt seem to be working. The TV service is really bad, no guide or information. Felt like I was watching cable in the 1990s. But the people working there were really nice.
We stayed at the Iroquois because it is very close to my husbands office, and it’s a convenient location to many restaurants, the park, etc. it’s a historic hotel which does mean historic rooms, ie small. The room was small, but lots of plugs on each side of the bed and at the desk. The bathroom was tiny. Like barely close the door while it in. But the shower was good sized. Good water pressure and nice towels. The walls are thin or something because I could hear everything from the girls next door to the cleaning crew. Bed was comfortable. The staff there is so nice! Especially the lady from Dallas that worked the front desk. She is wonderful! I love the breakfast that’s included. Yogurt or bodega style egg sandwiches (with runny yolk even, impressive) with OJ, water, coffee, tea. Very tasty and so convenient. I also took advantage of the free walking tour of the area that you can do. Informative and a nice perk. The Iroquois is close to many restaurants, Starbucks, subway stations. and stores. About a 20 min walk to Central Park and same to either river.Overall it’s a good hotel in a nice location. Great friendly staff.
Great location with clean rooms and friendly staff.
Excellent boutique hotel. Clean, classy, comfortable. Great location.
The Iroquois is a lovely, small hotel in midtown Manhattan, located a few blocks from the Theater District. Its rooms are comfortable, clean and well-kept. The staff that I encountered while staying there – from housekeeping to front desk – were all friendly, efficient and welcoming. The hotel’s location is a short walk to many tourist attractions. However, it is far enough away that it is rather quiet.
Woah!! The reviews weren’t kidding. The staff here is super kind, and we immediately felt welcomed by the woman who checked us in and the doorman’s smile (I feel terrible for being unable to recall their names!). We only stayed one night and were upgraded to a suite, and wow! What a wonderful room: spacious, comfy, and modern but warm. Each of the desks/bedside shelves had outlets/USB plug-ins, the bathroom had a shower room AND tub, many of the lamps were dimmable for ambience, and there was complimentary hot breakfast. Overall completely worth it for the price!
What happened to Lantern’s Keep? That bar was the only reason to go above 14th Street. Huge loss to the bar scene in midtown.
Great little hotel !Everyone was very friendly and niceGreat little breakfast as well was offered toRight across from a major parking facility easy in and easy out .Price for the hotel was very reasonable
Great Service, especially Kenny.
Cool, classy speakeasy in lobby
I would most definitely recommend staying at the Iroquois. From the moment we stepped foot into the hotel, we were greeted by people who were more then willing to help us with storing our bags earlier then the check in time. We were also greeted that night with free wine in the lobby (an extra bonus to our already amazing stay). The location is perfect for anyone who would like to stay in midtown manhattan. Close to many attractions (5th avenue, Central Park, Empire State Building) to name a few. They had free breakfast every morning as well. When checking out of our hotel, they were more then happy to store our bags until we were leaving for the airport.Overall the hotel was clean and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and respectful. Would highly recommend staying at the Iroquois.
We stayed at The Iroquois on our recent trip to NYC for our first wedding anniversary. We can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff was super pleasant and helpful at all times. Upon on arrival at 10am our room was already available for us to check in, we were also given a free upgrade to a King room. The room sizes are also great compared to some of the other Time Square hotels.Location is perfect for exploring the city, we walked almost everywhere.Would definitely go back next time we are in NEw York.
The Iroquois Hotel is situated between 5th and 6th avenue near many restaurants and shopping. In addition to the great location, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast offered yogurt, sandwiches, juice, and coffee. Overall rating: excellent
This was the second year in a row Ive used the Iroquois to host our company event during a major industry meeting and I dont think Ill ever stray away from this space. The hotel itself is gorgeous and in an excellent location. The lobby provides the perfect amount of meeting space and the conference room is a good size too.But mainly, I return because of the staff. Xochitl and Drew who help coordinate the events are truly an incredible team. Theyre so on top of everything and extremely accommodating. But also Anna (front desk) and Carlos (bellman), who Ive had the pleasure of getting to know the last two events, are wonderful. Theyre so kind and excellent at their jobs. Customer service is A++ and my team always raves about how much they love the hotel. The good news is theyre in the middle of renovations to build out a bigger restaurant space that will absolutely make this hotel a must-use for events and even just your stay. Its walking distance to any and every theater show you could want and Bryant Park. Ill continue to use the Iroquois as long as theyll have me!
One of my favorite places to stay in midtown - especially with the renovate rooms. Nice work.
Great location. Only 4 minutes walk to Times square and subway line. Breakfast items were mostly unavailable after 9:30-10 am. Clean and comfortable rooms.
Get location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room. It was great!
Clean rooms and walking distance to hells kitchen and times Square is amazing!
Classic boutique hotel in prime Midtown location for theatres without the chaos. Staff is pro and unbeatable. Get a room with a view.
Fantastic hotel. Great location, lovely rooms and really friendly staff.
The hotel Is fine but they should stop doing breakfast… what a let down
The best hotel in NY great staff, spotless rooms and very comfortable
A small hotel with a very professional and welcoming staff, clean, comfortable and quiet room, cant beat location, 44th between 5 and 6th Aves, close to all. We will certainly return.
Clean, nice. Breakfast could be a bit more better
Nice atmosphere, but drinks were a bit pricey and mostly ice.
Excellent location, at the heart of Manhattan. A short walking distance from Times Square. Close to public transportation.Staff very friendly.Rooms are small (typical for Manhattan), and very clean.Highly recommended.
Enjoyed out stay. The staff were all very friendly, quick to greet, and accommodating. The breakfast was great! Really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, orange juice, and coffee. We were so close to everything we needed and Times Square to boot. Fantastic location for sightseeing NYC. The room was clean and comfortable, nice sheets, down pillows. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious and quite luxurious. There was convenient parking right across the street. I will definitely look to stay here again.
I loved my stay and will stay again. Very attentive staff, cozy rooms, great location without being in the niddle of times square. Small, simple and sophisticated. A great place to stay for under $500 a night.
AMAZING LOCATION!!! We were right in the middle of all the action, blocks from Time Square, Rockefeller center, 5th Ave, Central and Bryant Park, Grand Central Station. The Hotel was well maintained and immaculate. Staff was professional. Rooms were a well accommodating but a little small but so is everything else in the city. Breakfast was delicious especially for those who want an early start...were coming back to the Iroquois in the spring!
Good location, good vibe and staff, just small things that were missing like there was no tootpaste, just very small soap and not one separate for showering (I just had to buy these myself), breakfast was served in compostable sandwich boxes (and not plates), minibar a bit too expensive. But overall for the price it was clean and in a good location I liked it.
Nice and spacious rooms for Nyc, very nice staff and housekeeping.
A home in NYC !!The first night when we arrived Orlando could not find the right room with our reservation. Yomaly the manager helped us to find a great room with street side view. Cameron the concierge is also very friendly & helpful. We really appreciated. It’s a cute boutique hotel in the center of NYC with warm and helpful staffs. We’ll be back 😊
A great little hotel in the big city. The team always treats me like a vip.
An absolutely gorgeous sumptuous hotel, but intolerably loud street noise. Too close to Times Square, and windows are 0% soundproof or weatherproof. With the windows closed, there was such a strong breeze we kept checking to see if the windows were open or broken. Street noise was so loud, we didn’t sleep the entire night. If the hotel wasn’t so gorgeous in every other way, this would’ve been a 1-star review. If the windows were properly sealed for weather and noise, it would’ve been a 5-star review. Very sad that I’ll never be able to set foot in this lovely hotel again. :(
Stayed here for a week in the deluxe queen room. Definitely not a 4 star hotel!Pros: The basic stuff, Friendly staff, clean rooms , clean sheets and linen. Location is fantastic.Cons: very expensive to what you get. Room is small and kind of crammed, bathroom as well. Not so much room for two people. Grab and Go breakfast from 7-11 am, not really. We were there by 10am and there was nothing except for oatmeal and black coffee. So technically you are just paying for the room. We had to get a decent breakfast every morning at nearby restaurants.Overall experience is good but not as expected or paid for.
Great environment. Small room but very nice regardless.
First time and would definitely come back!
The place is in a great location right in the middle of midtown 2 blocks from time square, whilst this hotel is in the right location it’s really needing a makeover as it’s very tired, the breakfast is abysmal compared with what you’d expect from a hotel cheap microwaved breakfast rolls pre made not what I was expecting. The room was comfortable but had non working bedside plug sockets, the bathroom was clean but no instructions on how to use the heated floor so it was cold for the first 4 days for the price paid it wasn’t worth it there are better places around with more modern facilities shame really
This is the worst hotel I have even stayed in the world. There are only 8 table in restaurant, you have to pick up some foods. If you dont eat egg or bacon , you are absolutely hungry! No table no more choices. No olives, no cheese, no tomotoes, no grilled bread, no tea, no fruits!!! You cant eat more if you are still hungry!Rooms are clean, every room has a fridge but you cant use it. Because it is full and you cant get your drinks from outside and put in a fridge!! There is a SCALE in fridge, if you get one can in a wrongly , immediately you have to pay 25 dollars!! If you want something cold, You have to drink cold water and beer from fridge. İf you buy outside hotel, you should drink it warm.We had to eat our breakfast in front of hotel!! Could you believe that ??? Is this a hotel in new york!! In a touristic area??I cant believe this!!Please dont make any reservation to this hotel.!!!It is really disappointing !!
Nice friendly accommodations on 44th Street in midtown.
A 4/5 night stay over Christmas. One of the best hotel concierges Ive experienced. Has an old-style NYC feeling (perfect for Christmas). Well priced and perfect tourist location. Recommend.
Great hotel with beautiful rooms. Lots of noise from street.
Great location. Very clean. Staff were very friendly.
Brilliant staff who go the extra mile. Lovely 50s decor, clean comfortable rooms and a great location. Well done to the housekeeping who were so good and kept the rooms immaculate.
Pros : Great location. People arw friend. Service is good. Rooms are good.Cons : Breakfast was deplorable. Might as welk just not have it. Just thrown some heated up stuff in a box. Unreal. They say they have parking or its worded parking available but it means its available across the street in a garage. Could just be upfront about it.
STAY HERE!! We love The Iroquois when in town to see some Broadway shows and visit friends. Far enough away from crowds, but close enough to get to the theaters quickly. 44th street also has some great places to eat and the hotel has a quaint little bar to enjoy some great cocktails. Favorite part of the room is the heated floors in the bathroom! Have fun!
The room is fine. Bad service and hidden fees
Dont miss the opportunity to stay here.Five star experience that cant be missed in Manhattan.
It has really nice location 7 minutes from Times Square. The rooms are nice, everything is clean. They have everything you need in the hotel room. When you go to the lobby, it smells nice. The front desk team is friendly and nice.We stayed in a deluxe room with a king-size bed. It was an amazing experience, the bed was super comfortable. If you have never been to NYC before, it probably will be the best option because it is close enough to all touristy places. At the same time, it is far enough from Times Square noises.
The BEST hotel to stay in if you’re visiting NYC! It is minutes from Time Square with everything else that you would want to visit if you’re coming to New York. The staff is EXTREMELY nice and welcoming especially Charlie. The rooms are very clean and elegant. A huge bonus is how comfortable the bed is. They offer a coffee bar in the morning for a few hours and there is a valet. There is a parking garage located at 50 West 44th Street called “Edison Park Fast”. The walking exit of this garage opens up right across the street from the hotel. I would recommend making the reservation for your cars parking ahead of time on their website that way the valet in the garage can just take your vehicle and you can go into the hotel. Saves a lot of time! The staff in this parking garage is nice as well.
