Great little pub with wonderful service and above average food. I got the sausage rolls and sweet potato fries - both great pairing for a pint of plain! Came in and asked if they’d put the MNF game on and they happily did so!
My favorite pub in NYC! Great food, drinks, and service! If you’re dining in, you can’t go wrong with the fish and chips, fish tacos or curry fries - I love them all! The bartenders are super friendly and nice, and will remember you after a few visits (yes, guilty of being a regular)! I love that it has a great neighborhood bar vibe while also welcoming anyone inside! Also the Blasket is known to be one of the best places to grab a Guinness in the city 🍻 The bar is two levels, downstairs is very social and upstairs is great for date night, a more chill evening, or private events! Last reason why I love this place is the live music - Friday’s and Saturday’s come alive when the music is playing!See y’all here, next time!
Great happy hour (until 7 pm) and bar seating. There are hooks for bags under the bar which is very convenient. Bartenders are very friendly and the drinks were really good. Had the fries as well. True Irish bar!
Blasket is the place to be!No matter the time or occasionTheir service and food are top notch. You will feel at home as soon as you enter the bar.Noel, Neil, Liam, Molly and Liz are the bestCant forget Andres, the best barback ever! They are family ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Classy new Irish pub. Warm and friendly staff. Top-notch pint of Guinness, excellent line up of old and new world beers. That... And they have 3 types of Taytos!
Loved this barCosy great atmosphereHas a good vibeGreat service, food and musicWill call again!
Good place for catchups decent drinks and the best they offer potato chips with your drinks to munch on!! It’s located on the 2nd ave and 57th street a little off of every popular bars but can definitely chill around in this place …mostly it’s a cocktail bar ..
Great Irish pub with friendly staff. Plus they really know how to pour a pint of Guinness. Still not like having a pint in Dublin, but as good as it gets in New York. The burger was very fresh and decent as were the fries. Prices were on point. The best part was the atmosphere and the live music. Will definitely be back often.
At the Blasket I feel like I am at home. Bartenders are always friendly. Pub food is great and selection of drinks is awesome. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone!
Great little spot, wish it were in my neighborhood. Top notch bar guy, great beers, spotless but not pretentious. Patronize this place.
This is a great new neighborhood bar! The food is unbelievably delicious! You have to try the sausage rolls and the burger was amazing!! They still have a smaller food and drink menu as they are still new, but their menus say more options are coming soon. I cant wait to see what else they will be offering! The service was excellent and they play good music. The bar is cozy and welcoming with really cool old photos all over the walls! Ill definitely be coming back often!
Great little place to grab a bite and drink. The portobello burger was the best Ive ever had and the wings were very good. Beer selection was great and they had downeast cider on draft as well. Bartender was quick and professional. The bar had hooks to put our bags after a long day of shopping.
Friendly spot on the Eastside with a great dose of Irish hospitality. Terrific staff. Very good bar food
One of the best things to happen to bars in the QB bridge area. So chill and high class at the same time! Great food, staff, ownership, prices and of course Guinness!
Probably the best afterwork pub in midtown east!I recommend their wings and cheese sandwiches. Amazing.
Perfect afterwork and evening family-owned spot. The vibe is great, the drinks even better, and the staff are super chill. The fried chicken sliders are addictive! Theres an upstairs area with more seating and even a closed off room for a private party of about 5-15 people. So glad I stumbled upon this bar.
Very nice spot, good food and good service
Great spot for drinks, after work happy hours and food. Try the smash burger.
This was our favourite bar .staff were lovely food so good .was great craic music very good highly recommend it
I love NYC, but if you want to step into a more relaxed, kind environment, this is the place. Brian (but pronounced as the Irish do) was the key to my experience. He served our drinks and engaged genuine conversation; no pretense. I look forward to hearing him play music (his stuff) on Tuesday evenings. Really a very nice experience.
Great place if you’re looking for a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere. There are two floors, both have bar and seating space. Very reasonably priced, and “small plates” are much bigger than expected. Food was delicious- I would recommend the portobello burger (large plate) or the grilled cheese bites (small plate). Plus, all day happy hour on select beer, house wine, & well drinks. Service was wonderful- friendly and easygoing bartenders.
Solid Irish pub. Good service. Nice upstairs area for larger groups if its not rented out. Never enough seats. Strange set up for hanging up coats in the winter/rainy day.
Quaint Irish bar on the east side. It only opened up a year ago but it already had a bunch of regulars. Never too crowded as well. Also the sausage rolls were very tasty.
Very cool bar on the Eastside. It has also an upstairs. Ample space throughout and wonderfully kind bar staff. I would assume it gets busy. You can also have private events upstairs. Looks like a convenient and lovely place to meet or have a gathering. Very clean and unique pictures.
Comfortable place in a refined Irish bar style. They keep it antique but also updated for 21st century taste. Good beer list and interesting menu with quality bartenders. Not cheap but good happy hour specials.
Went there twice while visiting NYC from California. Great food for a smallish bar and the owner, Liam, was super nice to me and my sons. Highly recommend.
Best food you can find in an NYC bar for a reasonable price. Feels authentically Irish. Highly recommend.
The best! Burger is awesome, drinks are great, and service is top notch. A real gem in the neighborhood.
This is just an awesome neighborhood Irish pub. Always a friendly crew behind the bar, they have a good selection of beers on tap and do an excellent fish & chips.
Early evening we were looking for a place to grab a drink and a bite. We saw this pub and not sure it’s open. We’re glad that we went in. Their fish and chips was so good and delicious. The service was excellent and had a great experience.
The nicest place. Great food and the people are kind.
They have a very friendly staff. The owner is extremely polite and accommodating. The food is incredible along with the great drinks.
Delicious food and good prices. This is my second week in NYC and by far the best Hamburger, Fries and Beer I‘ve had so far. Well done.
This place feels like my living room- Jake, a man playing a pokemon emulation and sitting next to me at the bar.
Best Guinness yet during my visit. Food exceptional also.
The fish and chips are incredible—would 100% rearrange my return trip to NYC to come back and have it again. The shepherd’s pie is also very, very, very delicious. And the Guinness was great.
Wonderful spot great atmosphere Liam is an amazing bartender will be returning whenever we return to the city!!
A cozier and more hipster version of your local Irish pub which I appreciated and the bartenders are great. Liam concocted a delicious cocktail based on another cocktail I enjoyed. Would definitely go back.
Cozy bar, great addition to the neighborhood! Friendly owners make you feel welcome upon entering. Definitely worth a trip back...and back again.
Was just jaunting by, on my way to a much anticpated lebanese cuisine experience, when my eyes came across this pub. At first I though, no, i shoudlnt, but with the slightest second thought I found myself wandering in.I was greeted by Hugh who poured me a pint of Guinness with delight. Now let me tell you, I enjoy a Guinness wherever it is offered, but I do find myself always comparing the pint to the nectar only found true in Dublin. However, this may have been the best pint since Ive been in Dublin. No small order, to be sure.Hugh was a pleasure to chat to. The Copa America game was on, which I caught the first few minutes of. A short and sweet visit, but Ill be sure to be back.
Great spot we had a private party upstairs great location and looked very nice inside. Friendly bar staff
Great irish pub.Grear pour of guiness and a real irish feel to the bar. We also ordered the curry fries which were delicious.
Awesome place!!! Great food, great drink menu great easygoing bartenders, great music, great atmosphere, all in all these guys rock ❤️ I’d give them 10* if I could
Fantastic pub with great food and a cozy neighborhood vibe!
The Irish curry was 10/10! Fish & chips and the Irish sausage roll also delicious. But Noel and the other staff seal the deal. Atmosphere was perfect and selection of Irish beers 10/10. I wish I lived closer so I could go more frequently.
Nice place. Good drinks and food, reasonable prices. A little loud but Id go back!
Best proper pint of Guinness this side of the pond. Period.
Fantastic Irish Pub! They took great care of us and a great time was had by all! I cant wait to return!
The place is nice. Its a regular Irish pub. The bartender upstairs wasnt the friendliest one
Fantastic experience every time!!!
Just the best place to go out in the neighborhood. Good drinks and food. And extremely nice people working there. Thanks!
Went there with a colleague because the name caught our eye... the place was super clean with great service and delicious food! Oh and the bathroom is amazingly clean too!
Really good chicken sliders. Drinks were ok, not the best pricing service could have been friendlier
Fantastic curry fries and great beers on draft. Low-key but very high quality pub.
Great barman, nice atmosphere. Wish they had a couple of vegan options besides salad and fries.
Such a great place to have a drink and enjoy a nice evening at Blasket!
Great experience. The drinks and service was top notch. Loved the smash burger, shepherds pie and Irish sausage rolls. Highly recommend.
Fantastic food, drinks and service in my experience. I will definitely be back!
Great beer, especially during happy hour :)
We only stopped in for a quick drink while waiting for our bus but it was a cozy Irish pub serving Magners Cider.
Nice bar and 2 floors of space for causal togethers and watching the game. Nice variety of beer on tap.
Had dinner and drinks here after noticing the place walking by. The bartender and other staff were super nice and friendly, and the food was great. I had the potato leek soup and my friend had fish and chips. We shared the sausage shared plate which was phenomenal. There is a big risk vs reward equation in place when you pick a spot without any intel on it and the reward in this case is huge. Will go back as often as possible.
Cozy pub with good beer. Servers were super friendly and helpful.
Really good food and drinks but what really makes this place great is the people that work there. Very inviting, very friendly. Definitely a place to want to be a regular at
Lovely staff with delicious food and solid drinks. What a great find!
Fun bar with a second floor you can rent out, good drinks alright happy hour
Great atmosphere. Genuine Irish sausage rolls were delicious. Bartender friendly and efficientNice crowd
Great bar in the community! Lots of beers, food is delicious, & the vibes are always on point. Highly recommend!
Love this place for a pint of Guinness or bar treats done well. Me
Great old and new-world beer selection. Nicest owners!
Great bar, fantastic food, friendly service. They have beers on tap you’d find in Ireland that aren’t in most Irish pubs in the city.
Great up scale Irish pub
Fantastic burger and the BEST fries!
Its a great place to go and hang out
Great place for group happy hour after work!
Great bar .foods always good .staff from Ireland very friendly
Really great place to hang out with friends or go on dates!
Great neighborhood bar and the friendliest bartenders around!
Lovely pub for a pint and some Taytos
Great place. I would recommend The Blasket to everyone. Wonderful experience.
What a hidden gem! I’ve lived nearby for years and today was my first time! Service food and drinks 10/10. Amazing space for private parties too
Wonderful drinks, food, and staff!
Went with a group of 5 people on a Friday evening. Nice atmosphere and good drinks. Only had the appetizers which were all pretty good. Clean bathrooms and affordable drinks. What more can you ask for? Will def be back
This is a great pub for a relax Sunday. We went for the fish and chips and it was good, crispy and abundant. The service was super kind and fast. The bartender can make cocktails if you ask him and they are good. Also, it was a clean place. We will definitely come back and recommend 👌
Typically pub, limited bar menu good selection of beers
Very nice bar with many beers and good whisky.
Nice joint . Easy going staff . Local spot . Age Diverse . Great live music on Saturday night - classic 70s 80s 90s . Not sure if that’s every Saturday . Might want to call if it’s important to you . And by live music I mean one guy but he’s been around for years and the crowd loves him . Takes requests and friendly . As others have said great Guinness pour . You can hang out /eat upstairs too . A couple tables outside as well .
Good music. Good Guinness. The green fields of the blasket ☘️ 🇮🇪
Lovely experience, excellent hospitality and great food
I always have an amazing time at the Blanket. My coworkers and I will head there after work to de-stress and relax with the help of a great selection of food and alcohol. Great atmosphere, perfect for any time!
Decent food. Good beer selection. AWFUL acoustics. Its gets VERY loud here
A great pub. Food excellent. Good value. Friendly relaxing place. Clean and not overpriced. Well worth a visit
Good happy hour! nice ambiance
Absolutely fantastic!!! Great food, incredible service and an awesome atmosphere. Couldn’t say anything better. Highly recommend to all.
Still good as it was back in the day. Friendly staff and good vibes!
Great beer !
Proper Guinness
Amazing staff! I always have fun when I visit.
Decent. They had Guinness, so a win.
Always a fun time to be had! The food is amazing and the drinks are as expected. The staff is all so friendly and always happy to see us (or so they seem :) )
Solid bar with delicious bites. I had the fried chicken sliders which were tasty. Full bar, good beers on tap, just the right dim lighting, and good ambience with solid tunes. Only downside was there was a young girl with a VERY shrill voice getting progressively louder and more drunk with each Air Supply song she requested.
Friendly bartender and a lot of potential for drinks and brunch in the future
We just love love love the Blasket! Such a great addition to the neighborhood. Live music on the weekends is amazing and the owners are such nice guys! My only request is that they make a cocktail menu :) but they always create drinks for me when I ask. Get the curry cheese fries!!!
Great Guiness pour, amazing curry cheese French fries (not a typo!)
Great drinks and food. Service was awesome. Our bartender was very attentive
Awesome place and friendly staff. We went with friends and enjoyed drinks and a bite to eat. They have an upstairs also that would be great for parties of 20-50 people. Newly renovated and looks very very nice.
First time but wont be my last. In fact, Im wondering why Ive not been here sooner! Id recommend if your in the area looking for an Irish pub.
Great Irish Coffee and the staff is so friendly!
Great food, great service, great bar.
Good bar food. Good whisky & beer selection. Friendly bartenders. And a happy hour until 8. Whats not to like about this place?
We visit the city several times a year from Ohio, a must visit pub. Great service, good food and pours! Just a cozy nice place to go and have a pint or two along with the food and enjoy.
A well needed addition to the neighbourhood! I was shocked to find out (after a few visits) that the bartenders share ownership of the bar! Great to see them so hands on. Super drinks selection, fun live music and the food is excellently prepared. A really rustic, authentic Irish bar in NY feel. A great spot to hang out.
Best bar! fantastic service and warm atmosphere. really miss going here. looking forward to the reopen and some more live music
Nice little place. Great bar staff.
Warm and friendly bar with a pub feel. Great vibe and decor. Super friendly bartenders. Its upbeat and modern but your friendly local too.
Just discovered this bar thats a bit of a hidden gem. Very easy to miss but once you find it, the staff inside are attentive and friendly. The Guinness pours are done right and with care. Didnt try the food but everything that came out smelled delicious.
The burger and wings were great!
Perfect place for meeting colleagues after work, or any other occasion! Fantastic food and ambience, and impeccable service. Highly recommended!
Had the fish and chips. It was well done and the sauces were good as well. Enjoyed the atmosphere and would recommend it to others to check out.
If you like to drink alcohol in a cool place, eat great things, and have awesome conversations this place welcomes you with Cèad Míle Fáilte
Great pint of stout, lovely bar and staff.
Proper Pub. Chill. Run by pros. Good food, great craic.
Brand new bar. Friendly, but non-intrusive bartender. I will definitely be back.
Best. Guinness. Ever. Tastes like as if youre actually in Ireland.Idk what it is, but usually when you order it in America its super bitter - its as if they somehow magically teleport it somehow. 5 stars.
Very friendly staff with excellent food and drink selection. Definitely stop in for a drink and a bite to eat.
Went for a concert had the greatest time ever
Average food and service.Probably not worth the money
Great ambiance, strong drinks and awesome bartenders. I pass this place all the time and am happy to have stopped in. Will definitely be back.
Great bar, fantastic staff!
Nice bar. Not too loud and crowded on a Monday night, which is nice if you want to have a conversation.
The band that brought you Session House is back together. The overall atmosphere at The Blasket is the same as its forebearer - Great Irish-inspired comfort food, a varied selection of beer and wine, top notch/creative cocktails, and great conversation. The new space is bright, and ornamented with authentic Irish decorations & pantry staples.Make sure to introduce yourself to bartenders Liam, Padraig, Niall and Brían. Their warmth is only outweighed by their electric wit. And be forewarned - if youre not careful, youre liable to get lost in Padraigs deep gaze. Some say that he never blinks, and the solution to the grand unified theory is hidden inside his retina...
Great Irish pub with good food and AMAZING service!
Bravo. Was a big fan when these guys were at Session House, naturally followed them here. Love this place.
Decent selection of beers and nice upstairs space for private events. Try the curry fries, it wont disappoint.
Chicken sliders and coleslaw were shockingly good, came in expecting standard bad fried chicken. I was super wrong, it was legit.
Awesome bar with an even better private party room upstairs. Decor is cozy and warm as is the ambience Deff a place to go and chill out for a few cocktails
Good food and solid drinks with great bartending. My new favorite spot in NYC.
Irish bar small entrance
The service is friendly and expedient. The food is amazing, especially given the size of the kitchen.
The food here was top drawer. Pints really yummy too
Great Irish Boozer in NYC
Poor service from the barman and weak selection of beers. Not worth it.
Great place. Gastro pub that gets the drinks right also. Crab and Avo crostini and Fish & Chips on the same menu and both perfectly executed. Great Guinness.
Nice solid bar, good atmosphere, friendly bartenders...a little pricey but otherwise good
Great place to ha e a comfortable drink with friends.
The Blasket is a classy neighborhood Irish pub in Midtown East. a charming bar with a kitchen is a welcome addition to the area.looking for a chill bar with a menu of comfort food? Blasket has got you covered. this bar has a relaxed vibe. its decor is casual and classy: dark woods, NO clutter, a few flatscreen for sports fans, and seating spread out over two floors. Blasket has a lot of flexibility as a destination pub on the east side--whether youre looking for a spot to catch up with friends, do business drinks as i did, cozy up for a date night, or to celebrate a birthday. the warm welcoming interior matches the friendly service.i desired a perfectly poured pint of Guinness--and Liam, Blasket owner/ delivered one after another throughout the night with. the bar got busy throughout the night--and the service never skipped a beat at the bar. beyond just quick service, Liam and team are superfriendly and that comes off as genuine not forced. there is a menu here and the eats looked and smelled good here. i didnt get to tour through it, but i will soon!i highly recommend Blasket to anyone desiring a drink and an escape from the din of the citydrops mic cuz my cup overfloweth with stout
Great food✔️Amazing service✔️Tequila selection✔️Room to dance ✔️Happy hour --> last call destination✔️
Multi level bar with good beer and wine selection.
Live music downstairs and a more chill atmosphere upstairs. Good drinks, food and service.
Great pints of Guinness and Tayto crisps
Happy hour until 8 is a huge plus in this area
Great bar! Lovely food (the burger is fab), great drinks and friendly bar staff 👍🏻 The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy and you wont be short of fun people to chat to. The signage is subtle, on the corner of 57th and 2nd, so dont miss it because its worth a visit.
Home away from Melbourne. Amazing burgers paired with an IPA is an Australians dream when in the big Apple.
Great staff and great food!
Decent place for great beer and drinks and snacks
Great spot overall!
Great local and always great craic!
Great place from great people.
Great service. Fun vibe.

Superb hospitality
A choice of beers and if you hesitate, they let you taste before choosing! Very pleasant welcome!
Nice and welcoming place, good choice of beers and food, clean toilets.
My friends and I spent one last evening in this city and it was an excellent experience; Exquisite and sociable staff, really good food and above all excellently made drinks. Quiet and relaxing environment, excellent for an evening with friends
A nice place with nice people.. Almost every week they have live music...
Very good place, good food, variety of beers and above all very good service
We had the Fish and Chips and the Fried chicken sandwich. Both dishes were tasty and prepared quickly. A typical Irish restaurant with a cozy atmosphere.
