I attended brunch. I was served by Mina who was so helpful and kind. The food tasted good, the portions were exceptional x and surprising to find out each. Brunch meal comes with a mimosa. That was the great way to try the brunch drink. We also tried Cotton Candy. It was a great drink and had a great presentationFrom the food to the atmosphere, I will be coming back!!!

Dining at Skinos was an absolute pleasure, thanks to our incredible server, Gorge. His service was nothing short of astonishing attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed. Gorge went above and beyond to ensure our experience was exceptional, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The food and cocktails were equally outstanding, with flavors that dazzled the palate. Gorge’s knowledge of the menu and his impeccable recommendations truly elevated the evening. This was a dining experience we won’t forget kudos to Gorge and the team at Skinos for setting the bar so high!

The aesthetics and atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Definitely a 10 out of 10 and I highly highly highly recommend no matter where you travel throughout the restaurant you can get a great picture. Absolutely anywhere in that restaurant. The food was about a six out of 10. It was just OK in my opinion. The service and atmosphere was GREAT. I would definitely return.

This was a beautiful place to celebrate my birthday! The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was spectacular. Parking was easy because it was a weeknight but i am sure on the weekends it is harder. The venue does have hookah on the weekends.

Skinos is an excellent spot for celebrating special occasions or simply enjoying a delightful dinner. This was my second visit, and I thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. The food is well-portioned, allowing for an appetizer, main course, and dessert without feeling overly full. Each dish is beautifully presented, matching the stunning decor of the restaurant, which is also perfect for photos. This time, I had the surf and turf; the steak was juicy and cooked to perfection, and the lobster was equally tender. The shrimp appetizer was so delicious that I’m eager to return and try the pasta next. I savored every bite of the lava cake dessert. The owner and manager also care that you enjoy your experience. I’ll definitely be back to try brunch and more dinners in the future.

The restaurant is stunning, and the music is fantastic! We’re seated in George’s section, and the staff has been incredibly kind and attentive! They made my sister and cousins birthday extremely special!

Skinos is one of the most beautiful and idyllic restaurants I have been to in NYC. Perfect for a romantic date, a brunch or dinner date with the girls, or a birthday celebration, Skinos offers top-tier decor and ambience, amazing food and drinks, and very pleasant, attentive and efficient staff. I decided to try it for brunch and was pleasantly surprised by the large portions and how good the food was. They offer a brunch entree and a complimentary drink for $32 (+$7 for steak & eggs) and also offer a bottomless drinks option. They have two spacious floors, with the upper floor having more intimate seating areas and even a large outdoor area. Skinos is a 10/10 experience that definitely lives up to expectations and needs to be enjoyed!!They also offer a 3-course lunch special for $33 (add-ons for certain dishes) and great happy hour drink deals during the week.!!

Hidden Greek Restaurant Gem between little greenwich & Washington Street on Albany Street across from the WTC Memorial. Great date spot. Lots of plants & flowers. Midrange price but the hotel it is within is pricey.

Amazing experience at Skinos. This is my 2nd time being here and I really enjoyed it more than my first time, better vibe, better customer service and better food. Our server Noni was sooooo amazing, she was so kind and gave us great recommendations!

This place is absolutely beautiful and amazing vibes for a get together with friends. The food portions are way bigger than expected! Ivan was our server and he was amazinggggg! He was super attentive and literally made our experience so great!! If you go, I 100% recommend requesting Ivan as your server!

Skinos vibe and aesthetic is soooo cute. I absolutely love how the restaurant looks and will catch your eye from outside! Definitely a place to go if you want cute pics 🥰. Went to Skinos with a friend for brunch and it was almost empty when we arrived around 2pm on a Sunday. Limited brunch options. Ordered the steak and eggs and the food was ok! I’ve had better steak and eggs other places. Overall, a very cute restaurant and will give them another try to taste the dinner menu!

We’re looking for places to have a Sweet 16 dinner for my daughter. She found this place on TickTok so we went here for lunch to check it out. With that said, the restaurant is undeniably gorgeous. It’s pretty much breath taking. They have a back terrace area which is equally as beautiful. There are coy fish in a smoky pond, it’s amazing to see. I can only imagine how beautiful it would be a night, the lighting is awesome too! The food, was not as impressive. The salmon was over cooked, the lamb chops were over cooked, the mash potatoes were cold and appeared to be reheated not fresh at all. The calamari was also not fresh. The food was not my favorite part of the visit. Also on the website they offer a lunch menu and a lunch pre fixie menu when we got there we were told there is no lunch menu only prefix menu? I am not a fan of the prefixie menus any where and would not have gone if I knew this in advance. This is misleading. The food is overpriced and the prefixed menu has over priced add on options for simple things. They automatically add 20% gratuity to the bill but I had cash. Thank God! I will alway have cash when I can to prevent the price gouging going on with the tips. Not everyone experience is 20% and tipping is at the customer discretion. Period. 20% is a big tip and must be earned. Anyway, our server was very nice and accommodating. I’m not sure I would return however this is one of those places you have to experience for yourself.

I have to say, from the moment I walked in to the moment I paid the check, I was so carefully dealt with. I eat out often in NYC and I will be sure to add Skinos to my “repeat restaurant” list. Everyone who served my table was incredibly attentive, the onlyname I was able to retain was George, one phenomenal server amongst many. My compliments to the chef for the Ribeye and the Lamb Chops.

Loved the intimate atmosphere along with the great food and beautiful cocktail presentations. Service was quick, efficient, and on point from the moment my boyfriend walked into the door. Definitely coming here again to experience this lovely establishment during the day as well!

My friend and I recently dined here for lunch and took advantage of their prix fixe which is an awesome deal: appetizer, entree and dessert for under $40. We shared the meatballs and Greek salad as well as the salmon and branzino entrees. The food was delicious across the board. The restaurant is beautiful and the ambiance was perfect - very quiet! My experience was absolutely amazing! From the entrance I was in awe at how beautiful the restaurant is. I truly felt like I was in Mykonos! We were seated quickly and our food came fast too! This place is great! It is my third time here and each time I have had the waiter Ivan. He provides great customer service and care on the already great food and atmosphere. Ive gone for a brunch date and a brunch with friends. All times were amazing. Please try the sangria, you will be transported to a tropical island.

I have been to Skinos before and I loved the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant however I had an amazing time due to our server George! He was so kind and pleasant. We were there way after closing time and he was still so patient and accommodating to us. He suggested a few menu items for us to try, he was attentive the whole way through, he made us laugh, took pictures of us and most importantly he made my friend’s birthday dinner 10x more special. I love the food at Skinos but moving forward I would like George as my server for every visit. Opa! Well done George, it was so nice meeting you and thanks again :)

Place is overall nice service sucks. Never coming again and the cups were dirty. The chef burnt the food never again coming here.

Everything was great about this place from the staff to the decor to the food. They outdid themselves decorating the restaurant. Definitely a social media restaurant to visit to get those good pictures in. I went for a birthday dinner and our server (I forgot her name, I know it starts with an M) was very helpful helping us figure out what to order for food and to give drink recommendations. Food as well as drinks were a hit. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and return here again.

Everything is a 10/10! Great costumer service they attend to your needs in less then 5 minutes within arrival . Everything came out quick plus the staff was very polite & efficient ! Our waiter George was nothing less than spectacular. My birthday dinner was definitely a memorable one because of how hospitable and welcoming George is. He has the belly dancer dance with me for my birthday which was soooo nice, this was my birthday dinner and night out as a mom and I’m so happy we came here to have dinner and drinks because I can notttt wait to come back! The food was also very delicious and filling, I had to take my lamb chops and mashed potatoes home because I was so full. This place is amazing for a birthday or anniversary or just a night out. Make sure you ask for George because he was one of the BEST waiters I have ever came across. So warm and inviting with his smile and small talks. Thank you George and skinos for an amazing dinner and night. The DJ was also amazing with all sorts of different music! A must to come have dinner get with the girlies 🤍✨

What a gorgeous place!!! The food was delicious and drinks too! Service is fast and the waiters are nice. 2nd floor is a little more quiet and intimate than downstairs, meaning you have the option of choosing which area better suits your mood. Ill definitely come back, since Id like to sit outdoors but at the time I got there, it was already closed. Overall, a great experience!!!

All of the food was way overpriced and extremely overcooked. Ordered a medium tomahawk steak, it came out WELLdone (no pink at all) shrimp was so done it tasted like charcoal. Very disappointed for such a beautiful restaurant 😕

Atmosphere:The space is absolutely gorgeous. From the decor, to the view, there was always somewhere your eye wanted to go. Each table looked like an intimate moment.Food:The food was okay. What I did love were the desserts, especially the chocolate mousse. The oysters were amazing as well. Everything else felt small and extremely underseasoned. Although the plates were beautiful, it left a lot to desired especially for the price point. The drinks were not good at all. I finished my first one to just get through it, but had to send back their blue negroni. I do recommend their sancerre. That was a great glass of wine. We ended up going out after our dinner for snacks and drinks.Service:Service was absolutely terrible. Our server was rude and disappeared for long periods of time. It didnt stop at him. Every worker we encountered had an attitude and did not want to speak to us.I would not come back and I would not recommend coming here. There are too many good restaurants in the area to waste money here.

I came here for a work party recently and I can firstly say this place is gorgeous. From the lighting to the details, its very “Instagrammable”, but I did appreciate it. The area by the upstairs bathroom is a perfect area for this.However, I did notice some regular patrons were seated near the area of our work party.Everyone who I came in contact with was helpful and nice.I had the rice and salmon and it was fairly decent. The salmon at first was slightly dry with the initial bite but got better as you got further in. The rice was a bit too soggy for me.As for drinks, they are on the pricey side. I paid $22 for a Casamigos reposado Margarita. The drink was the right balance of sweetness and strength for me.In all, I would try here again just to see if there is a difference between a catered experience and a regular dining experience.I see Skinos being good for a date night or celebrating a birthday.

This is a stunning restaurant and the food was great! Went to have brunch there and will definitely go back sooner than later. The service was excellent, I had the pleasure of having Ivan as my waiter and he was all smiles and very attentive. The photos I’ve attached were from the bathroom, so imagine the place itself!!

Points went down because of service. I booked a surprise bday party and was assured that I would be able to set up the table for my guests prior to the reservation time. I arrived 30 minutes before and was unable to go to the table - it wasnt ready. 5 minutes to the reservation, the table still wasnt ready so I couldnt set up. The birthday person was arriving in minutes. It seemed the restaurant was either unable to get a table available in time or just disregarded the fact that the dinner was a surprise and guests were meant to be seated before the birthday person arrived. Either way, it was off-putting.

I did not eat, I had drinks in the lounge and I was serviced by Rose. If I could give her 100/10 I would. She was absolutely amazing, very attentive to my friend and I & her drinks … WOW. I had a peach/strawberry lemon drop and WOW. Amazing. If you go there on the weekend ask for Rose!

Skinos has an outstanding vibe that you immediately notice when you walk in. The staff is quick and attentive to your needs. Top level service that you rarely find anywhere else. The food was equivalent to what you would actually find in Greece. It was absolutely perfect, the quality, the flavor, every dish far exceeded my already high expectations. Treat yourself to a night at Skinos and enjoy everything they have to offer!

Was pleasantly surprised by the new edition to the neighborhood. The flashy lights and colors were a deterent at first as looked very lounge like but quality of food and service were good. Only disappointment was the octopus that we were expecting whole vs sliced. Cocktails are generous on the alcohol and the wine was a good pour. They aim to please. Clubby music.Lunch and brunch menu looked good as well.

Sweet tooth kicked in, hotel desk said they have dessert downstairs so grabbed a couple. The girl working the bar was super sweet and even got me a little milk to go with dessert.The dessert in the other hand was atrocious. The cake was exceptionally dry and flavorless. Ive been a baker for a long time and Ive never seen anyone roll a baklava and now I know why. 1/2 a piece of cake and all but 1 bite of 2 baklava rolls hit the round file.That was a $26 lesson in what not to eat Really wish the hotel wouldve suggested Zaza around the corner.

I recently dined at Skinos, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed uninterested and inattentive. We were left waiting for nearly 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence, despite the restaurant being half-empty.When we finally did get our order taken, the server (a male, Hispanic, on the second floor, approximately 30 years of age) was rude and seemed annoyed by basic questions about the menu. The food took an excessively long time to arrive, and when it did, it was lukewarm and lacked flavor.To make matters worse, when the bill arrived, we noticed that several items were priced higher than what was listed on the menu. When we brought this up to the server, they were dismissive and had no concise answer. I further requested the manager (a male, approximately 40 years of age) speaking with a Greek accent) and the manager had an attitude and could not provide a clear explanation. When leaving, the manager stated that we were given courtesy for being allowed to sit all together that he doesn’t want to have any further conversation with complete arrogance and disrespect.Overall, the poor customer service and shady billing practices made this a truly regrettable dining experience. I won’t be returning, and I recommend others to avoid this place as well.

This place was beautiful I’ll start with the positives. I had a confirmed reservation but when I called they didn’t have my name but I was accommodated. The food was terrible. I tried the crab cake and let me say this was by far the worse. They did remove it from my check which I appreciated. The drinks are amazing i had a mango lemon drop and a strawberry lemon drop. My fiancé’s sea bass was mediocre as well.

Lovely meal and place. Great addition to the neighborhood. We had the Branzino and the Lamb Chops which were both perfectly prepared. The Branzino was literally falling off the plate. It was also perfectly filleted at our table. I had to help my wife finish it. My Lamb Chops were huge and came with those famous lemon Greek potatoes. Our server Eleni really made the meal special. This is a two- story place and you can choose to eat on either floor. The kitchen is upstairs in the larger space. We really like that the place was very conversation friendly too. Love NYC (I live here) but too many restaurants have you yelling to have a conversation. Ive actually left some places hoarse from talking too loud. The interior is beautiful. This is a good place for groups or a cozy meal for two. Well be back. In fact were going there today for lunch. They have a $29 3-course special and for $11 more you get unlimited wine. The location is a block from the World Trade Center memorial.

Modern Greek restaurant with a slight twist on traditional recipes(For example, who thought of making a Moussaka “pizza” - genius!)The restaurant is very pretty with a trendy drinks area downstairs and a tablecloth-lined dining area upstairs.The staff is very excited to serve you - they are a new establishment after all - and that adds to the vibe.

I visited Skinos today, and I was very disappointed with my experience. The Navagio drink tasted like a mixture of DayQuil and NyQuil, and the Little Star tasted like Robitussin. The grilled octopus was also overcooked. The only thing that tasted good was the Blue Moon.I was particularly disappointed with the Navagio drink, as it is one of the most popular drinks at Skinos. I was expecting a refreshing and flavorful drink, but instead I got something that tasted like medicine. The Little Star was also a disappointment, as it was supposed to be a sweet and fruity drink, but instead it tasted like cough syrup.The grilled octopus was also a disappointment. It was supposed to be tender and flavorful, but it was overcooked.The only thing that I enjoyed at Skinos was the Blue Moon.

The place was beautiful. Food was amazing and do not get me started the on the workers. Nicest people ever. They give you so much attention and make sure you have the best experience there. A lot of the workers also spoke Spanish which was nice for my family. Recommend 100%

Skinos is overpriced for absolutely no reason at all. When food arrived it was ice cold and everybody’s food came out at separate times, so by time you’re finishing your food somebody’s else food is just now coming out. Atmosphere was nice, but service and food was terrible. Food at the corner is way better than this.

I came here for an event. The place is decorated nice. I ordered a cocktail. I can’t remember the name but it had vodka and passion fruit juice. The cocktail was an average price of $19 but what I didn’t like is their mandatory 20% gratuity tacked on. I also ordered their chicken skewers with rice. By the time I received my food the place was dimmed. What I thought was zucchini ended up being a lemon. I ate a slice of grilled lemon. Anywho, the rice came in a sauce that tasted ok but the chicken was bland and dry. Mediocre food for $36 plus 20% gratuity. At the end I spent $70… nothing I had there was worth that amount.

George was AMAZING! This place has the best customer service and the food was DELICIOUS! 10/10. Definitely recommended :)

My third time at Skinos my first time at dinner, I usually come for brunch but every time I enjoy myself. The food is outstanding and the service is amazing Ivan always treats me and my guests well! I will be back again and again!!

My experience at this place was HORRIBLE! My sister and I took my niece to celebrate her middle school graduation. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were welcomed by a woman who seemed mad and hardly spoke to us. We sat down and we ordered appetizers. Then we ordered the lamb shank and the seafood squid pasta. I kindly asked if I could get it very hot (temperature wise). When the food arrived, it was literally cold. I had to wait a while until someone came to check in on us. A nice and kind young man was the only person who talked to us in a decent tone. Oh yeah, we had about 5 different people coming to our table. However, I had to get my own utensils from another table. I told the waitress that the food was cold and her answer was OK. She grabbed the plate and just left without saying a word. Then, we waited for about 30 minutes to get the check and then about another 20 minutes to get it back once someone came to get it. We kept trying to get someones attention and the same waitress told me at one point, Wait a second. The restaurant went from being completely empty to dozens of people gathering for a party on the second floor. It felt as if we were at a loud and obnoxious club. This place is not worth it at all! It is way over priced and has horrible customer service. The atmosphere at this restaurant is very uncomfortable. If you want to have a nice, quiet and delicious meal on a Saturday night, dont go there. You have been warned...trust me! I live in the area and it was my first and last time going in there. Now i understand the B rating. They should get an F!

Last night my best friend and I decided to celebrate our 35th birthday here. Was it a memorable experience; it sure was for all the wrong reasons. First off I must say the atmosphere and ambiance were amazing. The initial person I communicated with on the phone in regards to our reservation was very pleasant and communicated effectively. But once we were seated it went downhill from there. I understand it’s a Saturday night and it’s a busy time for your establishment. We were party of 9 and from the time we sat were we rushed to place our orders. Even after receiving our foods while we were eating it was like we were being rushed to eat. They were clearing off our table while we were clearly still eating our meals. The food was not worth it at all. I had the baby lamp chops, which was pretty decent. My husband had the lobster pasta and it definitely was not worth the price. For an empty lobster shell with pasta swimming in tomato sauce. My best friend was disappointed in her lamb shank, the mashed potatoes had so much spinach it was no longer mashed potatoes. My cousin got the chicken skewers, and several pieces of his chicken were raw. Majority of the meals were half eaten. The drinks were okay only disappointment there was with the Mykonos. I paid for celebration package for $15pp which included champagne for each guest with sparklers. I brought in my own cake. After dinner our cake was rushed out with the 1 sparkler and the 9 glasses of champagne . I asked for a knife so we can cut our own cake. Our waiter said we will cut it for you. Several minutes later chunks not slices of my cake were given to us in to containers. I asked where are the toppings of my cake, I was told oh we toss them out, i asked why would you do that those toppings are edible. The response i got was oh we touched them they were hard so we toss them out. Excuse me ? I spent my money for my cake and all i got from it was a botched slice of it. Then the waiter is going to say to me oh you didn’t say you wanted it. Have you taken the time to communicate with us throughout the night? Well Ms Theoni P, your customer service is horrible. From the time you came to our table it was nothing but attitude. We decided to just ignore it and try to make the best of it. But was your service worth the $188.40 in gratuity absolutely not. We will try to get your attention throughout the night you will look at us and walk right past us. You brought out our cake along with a lava cake we requested forgot to light up the lava cake came back long after to do it which was pointless by then. You rushed us with everything and seem like you were annoyed to service us. Then i get the check with a $25 cake fee . Will i be returning to this establishment, absolutely not, it was not worth it at all. Not how I wanted to remember my 35th birthday. But if your looking for a great photo opp this might be a great place for you.

The place is so beautiful and has so many places where you can take very nice pictures. The food is so delicious and the service is very friendly. They also have a service to take pictures and each picture is $20.

There was 7 of us. Ambiance was absolutely lovely. However..... this was a terrible experience. First, our waiter did not bring the free bread for the table. We had to ask four times. Then, my friend and I ordered the tomahawk for two. The waiter took our order and off she went. When the food came, there were two tomahawks.... Confused, we asked why there were two steaks when we ordered the Tomahawk for two, we only ordered one. Next thing I know Im in a whos right match with the chef. He yelled that the tomahawk for two steak did not exist. I asked why it was on the menu then and that the waiter shouldve said something. He reluctantly agreed with me and took the second tomahawk back. A few minutes later, I looked at the steak they left and it was 70% fat, which made most of the steak inedible. The chef came back and I informed him that 70% of the steak was fat, he then asked me if I blamed the cow or him. I was pleasant and said that I wasnt blaming him but that the cut of steak was inedible for $100. He said thats why it doesnt exist, which was an unacceptable answer as again, she should have told us that it didnt exist. I have never in my life argued with a chef about a steak. He was rambunctious and argumentative and it was terrible. It was my friends birthday and 2 out of 7 of us left hungry.

This place is absolutely beautiful if youre looking for a nice ambiance and a place to take pictures this is the spot. My drink had a after taste of medicine. I didnt send it back I dont trust restaurants. My food was good but later on my stomach was hurting and I thought it was cause of something I ate after dinner but I ate my daughters leftovers two days later and my stomach hurt afterwards. They charge their own gratuity which I dont think the service is was justified for that amount. I well over $200 on one alcohol drink, a regular drink and two entrees. It will be a while before I come back due to the upset stomach🥴

The service was good but one of the servers kept coming back to try and take our plates away when we were clearly still eating! The food was good, but for the prices could have been better. We got the sausage and it wasquite tough to chew. Meatballs were amazing! The shrimp in sauce was good and the crab cake was fresh and good, a little bland though. Fantastic cocktails! Would I come back? Maybe for the lunch deal but not dinner again.

I visited this restaurant for my birthday and the atmosphere was magnificent. Great for pictures. The menu was somewhat limited depending on your diet and taste. Food was cooked great. I would recommend the baby lamb chops and filet mignon. The calamari and fries could’ve been crisper and less fat could’ve been in the steak itself. Espresso martini and the frozen mango margarita was fabulous. The service was lacking until it came to the end of the dinner service. 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill. I would recommend this spot to anyone for a special occasion.

We wanted to thank Skinos for an incredible post wedding dinner. We had a family only wedding ceremony at St. Nicholas Church and Shrine and so Skinos was a natural choice for dinner. I had dined at Skinos before and loved their food and drinks but they really went above and beyond for us. From the start they were easy to work with. I contacted them several months before and they were flexible with all of our requests. The space was beautiful and felt like an oasis in a big city, the food was incredible, and the service was phenomenal. It really made an already special day even more special.

The customer service was 10000/10.. the staff are very attentive and welcoming.. they made sure our waters were refilled.. I had lamp chops with mash potatoes honestly amazing and filling highly recommend.. the place is very nice and clean .. you want to come for a date or your birthday highly recommend

We had reservations for 7 on a Saturday. We had a few drinks at the bar while waiting for everyone to arrive. We were seated upstairs for dinner. I felt the place is under staffed for the amount of business they receive especially on a Saturday night. The drinks were great! The food was obviously sitting for some time before it was brought to the table. Im sure if I had a hot meal I would have enjoyed the food more. It was room temperature. Meatballs app was delicious. Beef short ribs were tender. There is a $25 cake fee which was no problem. Once the brought the cake out we had to wait for the server to return to cut the cake for about 20 minutes which was a bit annoying. Ambiance was amazing for pictures even in the restroom. 20% gratuity added to every bill with the option to leave an additional tip. Highly recommend requesting seating downstairs instead of upstairs. Dj plays better music. Vibe check is a 10/10. Service 5/10. Cost about $100+pp. Definitely would not return for dinner but a nice spot to sit at the bar to have a few apps or quick meal.

Came here for a friends birthday and had the worst dinning experience ever. Our server, Saul was incredibly rude from the moment we sat down. We were rushed to order all of our food and drinks because they closed at 10 (our reservation was for 8:30 and we were on time). When a friend asked to have their drink remade because it tasted horrible, we were told that he would only replace it once because “people try to take advantage”.. This comment was very unprofessional and uncalled for. The manager brushed us off when we tried to tell him about our experience and made it very clear that he couldn’t care less. Do yourself a huge favor and dine somewhere else. The cute decor is not worth the horrible food and service!! Just look the owner and manager’s response to the other reviews smh.

Wow! Totally impressed and caught off guard. I’m on holiday with my dad and we’re staying at CQ Hotel and looking for something close by because we’ve been traveling all day. We stopped at Skino’s and everything has been incredible. The bartender, Jacob, recommended the Patmos and it is the perfect opener. It paired perfectly with the Dolmades. It was crisp, refreshing, not overly sweet, herbal, delicious and complimentary to the aperitif. The service was outstanding! We came about 9 pm, knowing they close at 10, and were never made to feel rushed or uncomfortable. Everybody was welcoming and inviting. And the dolmades were like nothing I’ve ever tasted before; I have a new standard. Incredible service, atmosphere, and most importantly product!

I found it rushed and the lobster I ordered was heavily sauced. Which over powered the dish. The lobster was chewy as well. The bar tender was not my cup of tea. I needed better customer service

Beautiful ambiance, and the wait staff was great. The Pappardelle Mastica was absolutely fantastic. I will say that I didnt give a full five stars because the Tomahawk Steak was a little bland ($95) not seasoned enough. It was disappointing. The Lamb Chops my son ordered were seasoned well. I also did not give five stars because my family actually went there to celebrate my sons birthday and wanted the pre-fix lunch menu. On the website it says the pre-fix lunch menu is from 12pm- 4pm. We got to Skinos around 3:30ish, we sat down and looked at the electronic menu that also indicated the pre-fix lunch menu was from 12pm-4pm. The waiter served us our beverages and stated that the prefix lunch ended at 3:30. We all told him that the menu and website says it ends at 4pm. He said it changed; I feel that they need to correct their website and menu, to reflect that its up to 3:30 and not 4pm. A total bill of $440 and we left feeling like we were somehow cheated.

Let me start by saying I never visited this establishment. I have an upcoming celebration and based on a TikTok and the ambiance I definitely was considering hosting my event here. Based on the discrepancy in reviews from ppl of color and others I would say that customer service is something that may need to be addressed at the very least toward people of color. Additionally I’m not sure if it’s the restaurants actual owner that’s replying to these negative reviews but there seems to be a lack of accountability and hospitality coming from who ever is replying and that should be addressed as well. Your place looks lovely visually but it seems you all have lost touch with the core values of hospitality.

DO NOT EAT HERE.Our group of 20+ made THE WORST mistake of dining at this establishment.We made reservations about a week ago with specific information as to what the prefix menu is, what’s included in the all you can drink menu, and where we would be seated. Again, a group of 20+. The night began with the hostess being confused as to where to seat us, we were already advised via e-mail where we would be seated. Instead they wanted to save that space for other groups. After a few moments of struggling to be seated all while standing around other diners, the hostess decides it’s best to place us in the area that was originally booked for us and confirmed via email. Once seated, the waitress assigned to us, Mickaela or Mihala, truly terrible waitress and we should have know at this very moment to leave, but we didn’t, started giving us attitude about what the menu is vs what was confirmed again via email. Argued with us about the prefix appetizer menu, then proceeded to decide on her own that instead of having our own appetizers, we would have to do 3 of her choice and have it served family style. We overlooked this, and continued to be wishful about the rest of the night. We had shots served to us, that didn’t taste like the liquor we know and drink all the time. As soon as apps were served, within minutes, we were asked to put in our dinner choices. Again with no actual menu, not on an iPad, not something we could scan, not something online. Just this waitress telling us what she stated as a fact. If we did not have the email confirming what our dinner options would be, this disgusting human, would have dictated our options all while confirming everything with the vile manager named “Archie”.We argued back at this point about the menu options she was voicing were incorrect. We showed her the email and she ran off to “get” the menus. She brought the wrong menu 3 times. Then took out orders, 2.5 hours later our warm/cold entrees appeared, incomplete. 3 members of our party didn’t have food until the 3 hour mark. At this point, the waitress brought the check. Without any conversation about dessert, as we are celebrating a birthday. At this point we went to speak to the manager. 3 of us spoke with the vile sorry excuse of a human. All the while he spoke with arrogance stating we over stayed our welcome, stating we drank too much, even though the drinks were watered down, stating we have to pay the gratuity as it’s shown on the receipt even though the service was less than sub par. The manager also decided it would be okay to speak to a woman vulgarly, and disrespectfully, he treated me like I was not a person at all. He looked through me to speak to my partner instead of speaking directly to me after verbally assaulting me.To summarize, it seems even from the other reviews left here that this establishment is racist, sexist, and not for the black and brown community. SAVE your time and money, and support business that care about treating their customers with respect.To note, we were seated next to the person whose seat broke under them. We were there to witness the body shaming she endured, mistreatment and the nasty service provided to them, or actually the lack there of.

I cant say enough positives about Skinos.I had my sons 30th birthday party there today( as soon as I got home I wrote this review, because I loved it so much). Id like to start by saying, Im a very difficult customer. I must have emailed and called 20 times for this part of 20. John and Archie were available to speak and were always calm and polite. The food was delicious.The atmosphere was lovely.The wait staff was accommodating and pleasant. We had the dinner special.$29, for an appetizer, main course and dessert. All of our guests loved their food. I will go back soon!

I will start with why it isn’t rated a full 5 star, I left my hermes bracelet on the table because my latch came off and It has not been found. Really sad about it, but hoping someone finds it.We celebrated my Mother’s 70th birthday at Skinos, the service and food was top tier. I read the gratuity was 30% on a review before arriving which is incorrect it is 20 which is standard. The ambiance, and esthetic of the restaurant is amazing and I love it for NYC. You have the option to take photos with an on-site photograph for 25.00 where you receive a printed copy in a frame and digital copy. My Mother summed the experience up by saying “this is my vibe” and I love that for us because we worked really hard to make it memorable. Thank you for the hospitality and gentleness. My mother is also not good and going up and down steps, the elevator was amazing to get us upstairs to the private room. The food and drinks matched the price, we will certainly be back! I had the lobster linguini dish, chef’s kids 👌🏾

Food was decent. Service was great. Beautiful space. Only thing was if you have a server who is coughing/sick, maybe not have them on the floor, or at least have them wear a mask, especially when the restaurant was clearly not short-staffed. There were 5 - 8 staff members milling around for the one table upstairs. She was definitely not our server, she was clearly symptomatic and walked around our table multiple times, stood nearby to chat with other staff, sat nearby while browsing her phone, etc.

Truly the most beautiful restaurant with the most incredible staff. I came for my mom’s birthday and it was chefs kiss. The food for brunch was not only tasty but aesthetically plated. If you are looking for an Instagram content worthy place to go, this is it!! Everywhere was a photo opportunity, down to the bathrooms!! I had the steak and eggs, my mom had the french toast. The food here was overpriced for small amounts and it didn’t even taste that good. On top of that, the service was horrible, my friends and I were being laughed at by the waiters and they charged us 48 dollars for non alcoholic drinks. The server was rude and never listened when we talked to him or called him over to the table. Everything here is over priced and all the money they earn just goes to making the place look nice and they stilled failed at that.

Skinos?More like Scamos. Food was mediocre and they charged so much money for it. I got the lobster and pasta for my birthday meal and they didn’t even give me the full lobster they just left me with the body of it that had hardly any meat. Not only was the food not even good but they have a photographer who asked to take my photos while I was waiting for the food. She did not explain to me why and since I was in a “fancy”restaurant I thought she was probably taking it for the website so I said alright. She comes back with a bunch of photos she took of me and my friends in cheap frames and spreads them out on the restaurant table and asks me to see if I like any of them she took and to choose. I almost felt pressured to buy one after she printed out about 12 pictures in frames and I thought the pictures looked nice, so I bought a few. Unfortunately, I couldn’t post the pictures because I received the cheapest quality of digital copy with the restaurant logo on the side. This night put me in a bad mood on my birthday because I got scammed by their photographer and their bad pricey food it was an embarrassment. Also I put in the reservation that it was my birthday and I even told a woman that worked there but when I ordered my dessert they didn’t do the candles or anything. The only thing good here is the atmosphere. I’d take pictures maybe grab a drink and just leave this place.(Edit: In response to your comment, yes they do work for Skinos because she has her own office near the bathroom where I went to go see her and was talking to one of the servers as well). The outside area looked nothing like the inside and looks like its still under construction. The space is beautiful, but the staff is rude and disrespectful. Our experience for a birthday dinner was ruined by an attitude. The food is bland and completely unworthy of the treatment that we received. We were scrutinized from the moment we arrived to the establishment. They watched us fromThe moment we walked in and continued to stand by, making it uncomfortable for us to even enjoy the meal. There was an incident where our guests slipped in the hall and we alerted the staff that the floor was slippery. They immediately acted defensive and seemed as if we were seeking legal action. That was completely unnecessary. A waiter in particular tried to tell us that we didn’t slip, which was unacceptable. He proceeded to have an attitude and went back and forth with us for no reason. I alerted our waitress (who stood watch on us the whole night btw) which turned into a whole scene when we were just trying to raise awareness before anyone else got hurt. Overall, the night was ruined by this whole situation. I will not disregard the ambiance, but the attitudes we received was really unacceptable. I don’t plan on coming to this establishment again.

The vibe is honestly amazing but the service was the worse we’ve ever experienced, everytime we’d ask for things such as extra condiments/sauces or even more drinks the server had an attitude. We had to physically call the server over multiple times even just to put in our order. our server would consistently cut us off as we were speaking or asking for stuff and when we asked simple questions he would answer rudely and immediately walk away. One server made him aware of the fact that we were calling him over and he didn’t even glance at us. wouldn’t return

Gave 0 stars for service. I hope the owners read this cause from my understanding it’s family owned. Please time the seating on each reservation. 1 1/2 hours for small reservation 2 hours for large. The restaurant is a popular TikTok featured spot so reservations are maxed out which is great for business but what is bad for business is waiting 3 hours after a 10pm reservation because people are staying for so long to dine. Kitchen closes at midnight so I had to make an executive decision on my birthday to sit at the bar with my 4 friends (after things died down and they had space) just to enjoy a meal because the nice young lady directing each reservation was so overwhelmed with waiting parties she had to start truthfully letting people down. Other than that…..Food amazing!!! Drinks even more amazing!!! Music mixed which is a plus from me. The atmosphere had a beautiful array of silks, stairs with fish swimming around underneath, and a beautiful red chaise to take photos on. Enjoy on a slow night please.

This place was awesome from the atmosphere to the food. Mihaela was very attentive and accommodating. One thing that really stood out she explained the menu items, and spoke Spanish! I highly recommend going here, it’s an amazing experience.

Skinos was the perfect venue for the engagement party I attended — beautiful ambiance, elegant decor, and an intimate atmosphere that set the tone for a memorable evening. The drinks were outstanding and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive and made the night run seamlessly, ensuring everything was perfect from start to finish.

Our waitress Iryna was such a lovely person. She was very attentive and polite. Our service was extraordinary. Give her a raise! ☺️😘

This place is diamond ! I’ll give 10 stars if possible? Ambiance , interiors , gosh ! Very beautiful! Can’t believe it. Flowers , pond , very new , clean and Elite . Very high end , staff and waiters , superb ! Everyone are so friendly and enjoying their work , the food was super fresh , hot and beautiful presentation. it’s all worth it , prices are reasonable considering it’s a very class restaurant. I’ll definitely go back ! i love the shrimps and squid. So goooooood. ! 🥰

Customer service is unmatched I had an amazing time. The place was so beautiful the waitress was so sweet and always come around to ask us if we need anything she was amazing. The manager was really nice overall we definitely gonna come back.

Absolutely amazing time here. Food was excellent, atmosphere and decor was stunning, gorgeous views, and super friendly owners who tended to every need and request of our large party booking. Highly recommend and will certainly be back again and spreading the word.

Alex was absolutely amazing. She makes the best amaretto sour. Her customer service is top notch. As for the food… I was not a fan of, steak had no flavor. Ambiance is great. Alex might be the only reason I will come back…

Went with a group of friends for brunch on a Sunday and had a phenomenal time. Beautiful restaurant, and our server Ivan was amazing.

This has to be a hidden gem here in NYC that more people need to know about. The food was good, the drinks was delicious and the waiter kept coming to check on us. The way this place is built for your pleasure design wise is incredible. Chandeliers, flowers, a pond full of colorful fish its so beautiful under the staircase. I loved every inch of the building the bar was just fabulous. We were there for a late brunch/dinner and a promoter was having some performances by various people. We listened to an up and coming poet, an up and coming amazing singer performed I loved her. There was two comedians as well. It was over all a great time. Many people would love it.

Its was such a nice time, but my lamb shank was so flavorless but tender. I didnt like the pallea either. The appetizers and other entrees I tried were delicious. Very pretty Instagramable place.

I loved Skinos until last night. we arrived at the restaurant for our reservation and were promptly seated at a two-top. To only be ignored for 45 minutes, no water or service was offered. After 45 minutes, A busser passed by to offer us water and gave us menus. When the server finally arrived, he was extremely rude. He came over to our table and asked if we were ready to order because the kitchen is closing. At that point, we glazed through the menu quickly. He stood there annoyed waiting for us to find our food options. We let him know that we sat there for 45 minutes and that we were just handed our menus 2 minutes before him arriving. We quickly ordered our food. We ordered 2 gin and tonics, lobster pasta, Branzino, and grilled octopus. The gin and tonic tasted slimy, when we let them know the gentle men stayed that it was out of a gun, which is fine but the gun needs to be cleaned for sure. The grilled octopus was overcooked and chewy. My friends lobster pasta was salty. The branzino is my favorite dish. The last time I went to Skinos, the waitress offered to debone my fish. The waiter did not offer those services. I was picking bones out all night and could not enjoy my food. We heard the manager screaming at the guest because of the party downstairs. What annoyed me the most was just the quality of everything. Skinos has attracted a different crowd. My experience at Skinos was not the best. It felt like the red lobster in there and honestly so embarrassed that I introduced my friend to the restaurant, she was not impressed. Unfortunately, I’m not sure if we will be returning.

Ivan was amazing he was very helpful when picking selections from the menu and very attentive when filling refills and just checking in on me and my guest overall! He was warm and comforting without being over bearing. This is my second time with him as my waiter in Skinos and I am so happy to have him again in the future!

Food good but pricing poor. Asked for a manager when having an issue with over billing. The person on duty made matters much worse than they already were making our overall experience sour. Be prepared to be hastled to leave a generous tip even when we were dissatisfied. Two thumbs down.

Went in for their pre fixe lunch on Friday, no wait and service was fast because there were barely any customers. Portions were relatively big for $33/p pre fixe but quality was a little subpar and food was not the freshest. I got the mussels and they smelled rancid and the entire time the bugs/flies kept hovering around that dish (we both felt a little uneasy after the meal). We had to change table because of the bug issue. The dessert was also a bit too sweet for me. The decor was very nice so I was expecting a little better quality. The only upside was the service, attentive and very friendly staff!

This place is really nice to take pictures, but the price does not match the food in my opinion. Service was good. We got seated immediately and the place is very clean.

I recently had a terrible experience at this establishment. Not only did they overcharge me, but the manager was incredibly rude when I asked about the charges. The customer service was unacceptable and I felt like I was being taken advantage of. Its disappointing to see a business treat their customers this way. I would not recommend this place to anyone and urge others to be cautious when choosing to do business here. The prices are not transparent and the staff clearly lack proper training and professionalism. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

Beautiful decor. Definitely picture worthy. Girls night, date night, family night, etc. Dress Chic, casual, or sexy. Food presentation is as the pics on ig/tic tok/etc. Drinks and food are a solid 7/8. The parking can be the only issue especially if youre looking for street parking during peak times. But there are parking lots too.

Terrible, terrible, terrible expertise at Skinos and wouldnt recommend it to anyone. From the start, the service was awful. We were ignored by the staff for nearly far too long, and when someone finally came over, they were unfriendly and unhelpful.After waiting what felt like forever for our food, it arrived cold and tasteless. But the worst part was when the check came. Several items were more expensive than what was listed on the menu. When we questioned the discrepancy, the server brushed us off, and did not have a clear answer. The manager was also called and couldn’t explain the discrepancies. They all assumed everyone was too intoxicated to realize the fraud they were doing.This place clearly doesnt value its customers or operate with any integrity. I wont be coming back, and I strongly advise others to steer clear.

A group of 12 of us had reservations. A lot of people were late so we lost our reservations. But management saw how many of us there were and sat all 12 of us anyway. The service was awesome so were the food and drinks. We had an awesome time. And the view was amazing.

The Marriott Downtown recommended this restaurant. We loved that it was not a busy night as our server stated that Friday and Saturday are the busiest days.Food, service and atmosphere - - FANTASTIC! I will definitely be back.φανταστικός

But not the placed I’d go to celebrate a special life moment or even to just enjoy some food and a drink.I went to Skinos on Saturday night to celebrate a family members milestone. We walked in and it was beautiful to see. The atmosphere created a sense of excitement to be there and overall eagerness to experience what the establishment had to offer, however i must say i was very disappointed.About 2 minutes into being seated, we were approached by our waitress, Theoni P. Unfortunately it wasn’t pleasant. Instead of the normal smile and introduction that you’d usually get when out dining, she appeared irritated and dismissive which only got worse throughout the night.When we finally placed our orders, I tried to also secretly order deserts for all those that were celebrating at the table. However Theoni was very snappy, cutting me short and not actually listening to what i was attempting to request. I wanted 3 chocolate lava cake orders for the celebrants at the table, but because my request wasn’t important enough to listen to, only 1 cake was brought to the table, of which we still had to wait an additional 5 minutes for her to return to light the cake.Through out the night members of the party had undercooked food and other grievances with their orders, but when we tried to get our waitresses attention it felt as if we were intentionally being ignored, leaving most of our food uneaten. The waiters who were responsible for clearing the tables and bringing out water were 10x more pleasant to interact with however they were unable to fulfill orders and summoned our waitress who seemed more and more annoyed as time went by.Among other things that transpired, i was thoroughly not impressed with the service at Skinos. The rest of the party and i tried to be as polite and understanding as possible but it honestly wasn’t worth it in the end. We could have went to McDonalds and got better service.I don’t think I’ll return to Skinos. Maybe if I’d like to take a photo in a nice environment, but it definitely wouldn’t be for the food, service or drinks that taste like Robitussin.

Skinos hosted our engagement party with 100+ guests, where we reserved the first floor. Everything from the communication and logistics to the service and atmosphere was beyond amazing! In the pre-planning, they were accommodating, kind and a pleasure to work with. At the event, they were organized, had great music and had friendly + quick bartending service. Their drinks were amazing and the place was stunning - all of our guests kept commenting on how beautiful it was.

My visit to Skinos was extremely disappointing. The staff was inattentive, leaving us waiting far too long before taking our order. When they finally did, the service was cold and impersonal.The food, once it arrived, was a letdown—cold and lacking any real flavor. But what really soured the experience was the bill. Several items were priced higher than what was shown on the menu. When we brought this up, the server dismissed our concerns, claiming that the prices had increased but the menus hadn’t been updated yet. They refused to honor the package prices.This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere in the future. If you’re considering dining here, I’d recommend looking for a place that values honesty and good service.
