Sei less was a great experience. Service was 10/10. Appetizers were so good! We had the crispy tuna, duck spring rolls, chicken dumplings, ribs and baos. All of them are worth ordering. The entrees was good but I do wish there was a bit more flavor in some of the entrees like the salmon but good nevertheless. Drinks were also 10/10. Get the peach Saketini and the lychee martini. Highly recommend!
Ambience was fantastic. It was giving Japanese oligarch vibes. Very chic. The food was good, flavorful, the rock shrimp appetizer was the best thing I tried. Overall, it was a good experience but the price for what it was, was outrageous but if you want to pay for fancy Chinese food & feel special then it’s not a bad choice. My brother said the beef n broccoli was like Chinese takeout 🤣Good for a date nightAll of this seen here came out to $310 with gratuity added in, definitely not worth the price. Kind of outrageous, but a nice experience.
So tasty food , but unfortunately very less alcohol in the cocktails. We had “Sei less , drink more “ and didn’t feel any spirits in the cocktail. Our waitress was so cute . She invited us to come for lunch next time. And we’ll definitely back !
I went to this restaurant for my birthday. I had an incredible night. I complaint first because the table was uncomfortable, but the manager came and explain that they were full house and unfortunately they couldn’t accommodate us. He made sure to come every often you check on us and he gave me a set of drinks and dessert on the house .The waiter was amazing as well- sadly don’t remember his name, but he was amazing and customer service was excellent.Love the place & will definitely go back.
This aesthetics & ambience is top tier. But, I honestly feel this place is hyped up. Maybe because of the celebrities that visit. The food wasn’t just not tasteful, it wasn’t HOT ! It was like warm. The Chicken Satay is very bland no taste at all. The rice was giving mash potato’s the way it was stuck together. Maybe it’s the dishes I picked but wasn’t satisfied at all. Again the service and ambience was great! You also have an option to take pics only on the infamous stairs, even if you’re not dining in .
This place was recommended to me by a friend. He really hyped it up but luckily this place lived up to the hype. Food was fantastic, great ambience and a very good looking and fashionable crowd. Will definitely recommend this place and will come back here again.
Thw food was great. Nice atmosphere for a romantic dinner. The service was top tier. They always make sure to check in at intervals Im case you need something.
Made a reservation here for my boyfriends birthday, which happens to be Christmas Eve, so not an easy time to get a good res in the city. This place had availability and a 4.6 average here on Google reviews, so I figured even if its overpriced, its probably still good. I was terribly disappointed in the food, given the price tag - you can get the same quality or better at any one-dollar-sign Chinese-American take out place, for a small fraction of the price. Also worth noting they included gratuity in the price for 2 people, and had an up-charge for using a card, which is something Id never seen at a place that charges a $250 bill. Service was perfectly fine, but overall, I came away feeling ripped off.
My favorite starter was the edamame dumplings. Ill never stop searching for another like it outside of this place. I also had the chicken lettuce wrap, which was well seasoned and filling, and some of the Beijing chicken. The quality of service stood out the most. Our server was so polite and accommodating. The price is on the higher end but its expected for this location, delicious food, and quality service.
Loved the vibes of the place. My Friends and I sat at the bar and customer service was perfect! I ordered the sei less drink sooo good highly recommend. I ordered the beef lo mein with a side of broccoli. It was good but the beef was chewy, I ate everything but the beef.
This place is just nice looking. I had a contract which they did not follow through. They charged me an additional hidden fee and when I asked for the manager he rudely dismissed me and stated I had to pay my bill regardless, as if I was not going to pay for it. When I asked for the event coordinator he immediately stated he was going to call security on me because I was not going to pay the bill. They were rushing me out the room and did not explain why I was being charged over the amount agreed on. They do not follow through with the contract. They will charge you fees that they do not disclose. In the contract it showed the taxes, the gratuity fee and the room fee. The food portions were so small all my guests went home hungry. They claimed to serve family size but you can count the pieces with one hand of the food given in that place. I wish I can put the managers name in this post but I forgot his name. Very rude made me feel so unwelcome and ruined my birthday. Never again! will never recommend this place. Very expensive for no reason!
Really great food - everything was amazing. BUT I do have to highlight the apple tart from their dessert menu. The vanilla ice cream has cinnamon flavor to it and the tart is so delicious - literally falls apart, so tender, soft and flavorful. MUST TRY if you come here! One of the best desserts we ever tried.
Everyone from the hostess to the servers and staff were really nice, friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed my food we had a lot of things so I wont mention them all but the highlights for me were the lobster soup spoons the bok choy and the beef entree. The definitely not were the Kung Pao chicken entree and the crab cake appetizer. But overall the food was really good my drink with delicious and cute but before I finish it someone took a way because theyre very diligent about turning over the table and keeping it clean and giving you fresh plates and utensils which I really liked. My server also just got me a new drink and it worked out fine.
I have been wanting to patronize this restaurant for some time now as it has seem to be the it spot since opening. But, unfortunately, I was disappointed. I made a reservation for an early dinner before a show on a Monday night. As expected, the place was pretty empty. It was a tad bit hard to find as the scaffolding obstruct any view of the restaurant. There was a very small sign on the building that indicated to us this was the right spot.We were seated immediately and our waiter was there to pour us some water and service us.Food- 3/5... for the price paid, I expected more on the portionschicken wonton - 5/5Filet mignon with broccoli - 2/5 (filet was tender but it stops there. The sauce used was very overpowering. So much so I could only eat two pieces of meat and two piece of broccoli.Kung Pao Chicken - 2/5 - definitely not enough POW in that chicken.Vegetable fried rice- 4/5, really goodDrinks - 5/5Had a Sidecar and it was delicious!!Service - 4/5Though the service was top notch, i was confused on why the waiter brought out a sparkler in a cup for my birthday because we opted out of dessert. I would rather have nothing at all than a sparkler in a empty glass.Ambiance 5/5- Very beautiful place, well decorated with lovely colors in a dark dining settingOverall, overpriced mediocre food, stingy portions, not worth it. If you want to visit there, have a drink and appetizer at the lovely bar and check it off your list
I drove up to the front and was greeted by valet, my absolute favorite. I slowly walked to the front. The 1st person at the door held it for me, ( Loved that ) so I looked in, the highlight of my day once I walked in the winding staircase and the staff was amazing but the ambiance, breathtaking!!! who knew this was hiding . The food was not only great.. Its round two next weekend.
Stop by after a long day of training in Manhattan. I sat at the bar and had appetizers and wine. I had the spicy tuna crispy rice. It was good. Over all great experience and atmosphere. I would recommend and I would return.
I had the pleasure of dining at Sei Less, an Asian fusion restaurant, with my family, and the experience left a lasting impression. From the moment we entered, we were immersed in an amazing atmosphere that perfectly blended fun and sophistication. The lively music set the tone without overpowering conversation, and the spacious layout allowed for a comfortable dining experience. The servers at Sei Less were exemplary, offering helpful guidance and attentive service throughout the evening. They were knowledgeable about the menu, providing recommendations and answering our questions with a genuine willingness to assist. Their attentiveness added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. Sei Less delivered a tantalizing fusion of Asian flavors that delighted our taste buds. The crispy rice with tuna was a standout, offering a perfect harmony of textures and flavors. The lobster dumplings were another highlight, showcasing the restaurants ability to masterfully combine ingredients to create an unforgettable dish. One aspect that stood out during our visit was the restaurants celebration of birthdays. Sei Less made a special occasion out of these moments, adding an extra layer of joy and excitement to the dining experience. Its a wonderful touch that further enhances the overall ambiance and makes diners feel truly valued.
Went there and ordered the chicken satay and lobster dumplings as an appetizer. The food was amazing and the sauce on the chicken and the dipping sauce for the dumplings was very good. For the main course ordered the vegetable lo mein, the Kung Pao chicken, and the chillean sea bass. Everything was good. Ordered $20 drinks off the menu that were reasonably strong and very good. For dessert split an apple pie with a scoop of ice cream with my wife. Overall all of the the food was very tasty and I have no complaints. The ambiance and vibe was great. The music was slightly loud but nothing to complain about and the tracklist they were playing was great. Little heavy on Drake but I must say they did play his better songs, not the ones he is always just singing on. The only real complaint is the prices were a little expensive. The overall bill was about $320. Also didnt like how they pre-fill in the amount of the tip. I would have given him the 20% but didnt like being forced into it. Would go there again.
If you’re looking for a classy date night spot, this is a great option. Lots of ambience. The service was up to par with the fine dining feel of the restaurant. I honestly expected them to enforce the dress code a bit more strictly but I understand not wanting to turn away business. The dumpling appetizer was cooked beautifully, however, my steak entree disappointed me as it was dry and lacked flavor (and no I’m not one of those people who orders a well-done hockey puck steak). Because I didn’t love my entire meal, I took off a star, but I would still recommend this place…just order something else lol
The valet guy is extremely unprofessional and rude. I parked with my friend and he comes to the window and tells me I have to pay to be in that spot but I dont look like someone who pays for valet and I asked what does that even mean... ended up paying the $50 for valet and told him he should have less attitude and be more professional as he represents the restaurant and he continued to argue with me. I let the owner know and went ignored as well. Wont be going back due to poor customer service over all. Its overrated anyways.
This place was delicious. Me and my husband went last night for a private VIP party and one of their private rooms. It was like a club experience the appetizers, the entrees , the drinks the music and the people it was soooo fun and amazing! Definitely recommend it is a loud atmosphere but very club/lounge vibes definitely recommend coming here before a night out to start the night with a bang! we have soooooo much food I couldn’t get everything because I was in the moment but I had the whole menu!
The food is not worth the price point. The sweet and sour chicken was too sour with huge pineapple chucks in it. The chicken lettuce wrap tasted as if the chicken was heated in the microwave . I’ve had better food at PfChangs. The ambiance was nice if you just want to take pictures. Definitely not a place I’d drive two hours to have dinner at ever again.
Hats off to Alex!❤️ We had friends in town for a birthday and wanted to have a dinner! Service was great food was delicious vibes was vibey! Alex checked on us and the other servers all night and was very courteous. Will def go back with the girls 🤞🏾
I recently dined at Sei Less in New York City, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Aesthetically, the restaurant is stunning—a perfect spot for a date night. The ambiance sets the mood beautifully, making it a memorable evening. We visited during Restaurant Week, which included an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Everything we tried was phenomenal. The standout dish for me was the shrimp—truly unforgettable. I’m still thinking about them and can’t wait to return for another taste. The drinks were delightful and added to the overall charm of the evening.Overall, Sei Less exceeded my expectations, and I’m eagerly looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!
So Im unsure about some of these other reviews and low stars, cause this spot was HITTING!!!!!!!! ❤️We had been wanting to come here for a while..... We made dinner reservations for mí primas birthday for last night. The service, the ambiance, the drinks, and the FOOD A1! Did I say THE FOOD! We arrived and had a few drinks at the bar.... were seated and started with the Chicken Satay, Crab Coquettes, Peking Duck Spring Rolls and the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice.Everything was fresh, hot and exploded with flavor. AMAZING!I had the Lobster Fried Rice and the Beijing Chicken. It was SUPERB!! *Definitely caught me off guard and exceeded my expectations!! ☺️*The owner was running around making sure everyone was taken care of. He obviously knows what he is doing. The music and decor. A WHOLE VIBE! Must come here!!Right in Midtown and there is a parking garage directly next door so youre good good! 5+⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We will MOST DEF be back......😘
I went here for my mother‘s birthday. When we went my mom talked to the hostess telling them that she had a reservation. They told her to wait at the bar. We waited for like 20 minutes standing at the bar. And they were just talking and laughing so my fiancé went up to them. Because there were people getting there after us and there were getting their table right away. So he told them like there’s tables available there’s people leaving and nobody has came up to us. When he told them that they were like oh come with me. They were just rude to my mom. The food was just delicious!!! Our server was a little rude, but I think he was Italian and that’s the way they are. Other than that we had a great time. Mhm and just in case they don’t answer the phone ever🥴
I recommend going here. The vibe is incredible. Hidden gem in the midst of chain restaurant forest that is Times Square. The menu is mostly crowd pleasing dishes but all well made. The bao buns were wonderful. A bit pricy but thats the location for ya and inflation.
My loved ones took me here for my birthday, and everything was absolutely amazing! Special shout-out goes to REID, our server! Hes wonderful! I will be back soon...
This place is out of this world. Such good vibes and definitely a scene. The food matches the vibes 10/10. I love this place and if I could eat here everyday I would. Be sure to try a little bit of everything. The portions are made for sharing 😬 that’s if you want to.
Truthfully not worth the hype. Food was below average, service can improve. Server didn’t check on us unless we made eye contact.Portion sizes are small for the price. Potential is there but I wouldn’t go again.
Sei less is always a good choice. The food is good and the set up is gives ample enough photo opportunities. The cocktails are nicely curated and strong. On a good day you might even run into a celebrity or two.
I’m a regular at this establishment but that’s over with for sure. Me and my friend got food poisoning after coming here on 7/11/24. Customers pay way too much money to dine at these restaurants to go home and then be sick for days all because SEILESS can’t handle food properly .. absolutely disgusted.
Best thing I can say about this restaurant is the music, decorum and vibe. Definitely the “it” place to be if that’s what you are looking for. The Hostess was friendly and welcoming. My drink of choice was the sidecar. That was good. The food was just ok. The lobster spoons were flavorful but were over cooked and rubbery. The shrimp lo Mein was good. The best was the black pepper beef. So tender and full of flavor. The rock shrimp reminded me of bang bang shrimp.Service was ok. Nothing to complain about but nothing to brag about either. Would I go back? No. If someone asked should they go? Yes experience it for yourself.
Just celebrated my girlfriend birthday and we got here around 3pm and avoided the crowds and had a perfect dinner. The ribs were excellent, so soft and my gf had the sweet and sour chicken also delicious. The wine was excellent and Carlos the waiter recommend a passion fruit tequila drink which was also a tasty sweet drink. The waiter was so attentive and gave us a great experience. Will come back.
This restaurant has great ambience and service—the decor is elegant, making it great for a work dinner. However, I must be honest. I do not recommend the food—I got a variety of dishes with coworkers (fried rice, yellowtail sashimi, rock shrimp tempura, chicken wontons, chicken satay, etc) and I’ve definitely had better meals in many places in Manhattan. If you are looking for primarily ambience or a drink, this place offers that. Otherwise, I would opt for dinner elsewhere.
Everything was great. Crispy rice was to die for, chicken dumplings were fantastic, the short rib melted in your mouth, and the pork fried rice was great. Lychee martini was also really good. Great spot!
Carlos was our sever !He was great he gave us a detailed breakdown of the ingredient in each dishWe started with the lobsters spoons chicken dumplings bao buns to start off then main plates!Drink of the day !Super great date night ! We took our picture taken home with us a memory as of well!Thank you carlos for everything
Highly recommend Sei Less. The vibe was delicious- low lighting, kinda speakeasy vibes, super classy. We ordered so many dishes, apps, soups, entrees, couldnt even tell you everything, but it was all so great and good portion sizes. Great to share a bunch of dishes too. Drinks were incredible as well, I loved the Mexican mule. Wait staff was incredibly friendly and personable, not overbearing but just the right amount of present. My friends and I had a great time dining here and I would go back in a heart beat!
This place is beautiful it’s a vibe. But if you get Carlos as your server you going to have a great night. Recommendations, patience. Smile, attentive he gave it all. I was on a date with a friend and we hadn’t seen each other in a long time. He made it so memorable.
Very slow service, food isnt great, theyll forget your order, and the table in the corner was right by the trash so we could smell it while having dinner. Moreover, tip is automatically added. Not recommended at all.
Came on a Friday night with a reservation cute place for pictures. The food was alright over priced Chinese. The drinks were good and the vibe is great but overall it’s a place to visit once and that’s all.
Hollywood Smile Photo Booth review : cool Asian restaurant in the heart of Manhattan. Photo Booth was a great addition to the event.
The drinks were very good, I had the Sei Less Drink more without moscato. The food I ordered was okay, I wasn’t real hungry so I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and vegetable fried rice. I didnt like that the chicken was (minced) diced up very small. I would have preferred regular sliced chicken. Nice ambiance, good music, great service.
Food & atmosphere were both great. My Favorite was the lobster spoons & Steak with broccoli. Valet parking right in front & you can wait by bar till table is ready.
The ambience is really nice, you can do private partys, I really recommend this place for business meetings. The food didn’t hit my expectations, none of the plates I tried but drinks were good! the waitress was super nice and the ambiance was breathtaking.
Overall, dining at Sei Less was a delightful experience that exceeded my expectations in every aspect—food quality, service, and ambiance. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu!
This place is so amazing! The food, the ambiance, and the drinks. I had the Lychee Martini and babyyy let me tell you best drink ever. For dinner I had the Signature Filet Minon and my BF had the Salmon with Lobster Tail. Everything was super delicious. The staff was PHENOMENAL!!! Our waitress Megan and Server Denis were spectacular. Very attentive. They also payed attention to details, got our orders exactly how we asked for them, and were super friendly. Would recommend Sei Less for a cute date night. Would definitely come here again.
I recently dined at Sei Less, and it was an excellent experience. The atmosphere is modern and elegant, with decor that combines luxury and a vibrant touch. The food was delicious; the Peking Duck Rolls and the Yuzu Margarita were my favorites, perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff that made the evening even more enjoyable. The only slight downside is the parking, as the area can be a bit hectic. I recommend using the valet parking for added convenience. Overall, it’s a perfect place to enjoy a memorable dinner.
Carlos was so amazing! the drinks he made us was spectacular! I definitely recommend eating at this place! our food was everything. we ordered the spring rolls, spicy tuna rolls, vegetable lo mean and beijing chicken and everything was delightful!
Beautiful place thr food was amazing the Decor was beautiful and the stuff was great the give us Complimentary beijing chicken for my best friend birthday music was nice too Definitely recommend the place
The food was good and the waitress was very nice and helpful . The highlight of the night is a staff member asking to take pictures . Which they were printed and put into a frame.
Its always an excellent experience coming here. Food is always on point, flavor unbeatable, and service A+
By far the best work dinner I’ve attended. Aside from our trendy private room, in an already beautiful restaurant, every dish was served was flavorful. The desserts were just as impressive. I highly recommend the apple pie and crème brûlée.
Carlos our server was amazing! The service was prompt, he was attentive and his recommendations were on point. 10/10 experience. Thanks for an amazing birthday.
Went here for restaurant week and the food and drinks were nice! I got a lychee martini and their black prawns. The music was nice everyone in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying their time there
We had a very memorable family dinning experience here. The staff at every touch point was very courteous and attentive. We were seated at the back of a dimly lit and very ambient dinning room. The other patrons seemed all very immersed in their experiences as well. That added to the overall welcoming atmosphere. Our seating was a little too low for the height of the table but we quickly got used to it. I sampled everything from a well crafted family style prix fixe menu. The appetizers were my favorites. Each one was delectable. The entrees were delightful as well. However, I found the honey and caramel sauces on some of the dishes were a little overpowering. Of the desserts, the carrot cake caught my attention…moist and velvety and not too sweet. There was a photographer with a very keen eye who captured some amazing shots to immortalize the moments…for a prize of course. But they were worth it. I would definitely come back and next time spend some time at the bar too. Highly recommend.
I came to Sei Less for a birthday dinner where we received family style meals that included appetizers, entrees and desserts. We definitely did not leave hungry - the food kept coming and I left feeling very satisfied. The specialty cocktails were a big hit! They were strong, yet delicious. I was also very impressed with the service throughout the night. I never had to look for the waiter and the drinks came back to back. It was worth every penny! Before the dinner, a photographer came around and took our pictures. I thought it was so cute that they came back at the end of the dinner with our photos framed and ready for purchase. Thank you for an amazing experience! I did not give 5 stars because of the restrooms. I think that an establishment with these prices should have fully functioning restrooms. 2/3 stalls were out of order.
Had my birthday dinner here last week. The ambiance is great! The service was incredibly fast. The servers were also very friendly, attentive and professional. The food was well prepared and seasoned to perfection. The music choice was perfect and at a good volume as well. Perfect place for photos! Perfect place for meetings / private parties etc! 10/10 recommend and we drive from Baltimore to nyc to dine here! Thanks for the great experience xoxo.
Celebrated my birthday our waiter and staff were so nice food was amazing so good they had a photographer take our photos. I will definitely come back again. Good place to celebrate your birthday 😊
Carlos is the best waiter they have here. 10/10 amazing ! Service was excellent, food was superb, drinks were bomb. I’m an indecisive person and he made recommendations (which I love). I would definitely come back.
Sexy urban NYC vibes. Picture opportunities from the moment you walk in . Typical, you can’t go wrong Asian fusion.
This restaurant feels like it should be great, but it does not live up to that expectation.Food was ok, not special. This restaurant tries too hard to be luxurious and fancy. The edamame dumplings are great, but the crispy rice tuna dish was meh. The veggie spring rolls were good but the chicken lo mein and the lobster fried rice were just ok. We were debating if the food deserved a 6 or 7 on the 10 point scale. I think however that the edamame dumplings were an 8 maybe even a 9.
Carlos was a pleasure to have as our server. The level of service was not only refreshing but reestablished the standard that one would expect on an evening out. I look forward to my next visit.
Carlos took very good care of me and my wife, gave us a very detail description of every dish we ate. Definitely my favorite restaurant as of now!
I got harassed by the security guard I had my crocs on and my heels in my hand I go to upscale restaurants all the time and I know I have to put my shoes on before I am seated so he tells me I have to put my heels on before I go in I told him I am he then follows me inside up the stairs and tells the host to make sure I put my shoes on before I get seated so now I am annoyed you’re doing too much and I looked up the dress code for the restaurant and it says no athletic wear and I saw so many people with sneakers on and I also saw a lady with slippers on so I was confused why I was getting harassed
The atmosphere was pleasant, but there is room for improvement in the food department.
I went to Sei Less to celebrate my birthday and Ivo took care of us. I had one of the greatest experiences of my life. I had The Lychee Martini and had to keep ordering because it was sooooo good! 100% recommend you go there!
Average and pricy Chinese food. Good but have had better for cheaper. Beautiful ambiance though - tons of picture worthy spots
Carlos was very attentive and the food was delicious. We got the lobster spring rolls, Beijing chicken, filet mignon and broccoli, and lo mein, fried rice soooo good! The warm steamy wet towel at the end … *chefs kiss*
Carlos is excellent! He really made my birthday even more special with his attentiveness, and professionalism
We went early as soon as it was open we where the first so we got great service every thing we ordered was delicious. It was Mother’s Day and I had a wonderful time. I tasted the Leech Martini for the first time and it was awesome. I will be returning soon. Fried rice was delicious and the felu mignon
Get the lobster spoons. Thats an order.
Food was amazing atmosphere calm and chill customers service was very pleasant very excellent very friendly, the offer photo shoot
Carlos: He gave amazing recommendations and service. He knew what to ask to better understand our preferred taste when ordering. He checked up on us multiple times to make sure everything is going good. We are so glad to have him as our waiter. I definitely recommend this place and will be returning. The food was delicious!! 😄
The food was very mediocre for the prices they were charging. I ordered salmon and the menu didn’t mention it coming with anything other than the sauce so we got the vegetable lo mein. The salmon comes with white rice. I didn’t like the taste of the miso sauce that comes with the salmon dish. My friends also weren’t satisfied with their meals. The vegetable lo mein was the saving grace as that did taste good. My lychee martini was tasty as well. The waiters came to collect our dishes rather fast however our main waiter took forever to deliver the bill, in the end it took about 45 mins for him to get the bill and bring back our cards for signing. The only good thing about this place was the decor for pictures. So my advice, go for drinks as the food is not worth what they are charging.
I visited for my birthday and I had such an amazing experience due to our waiter, Carlos! He was super attentive and has such a pleasant energy. He continued to check on is through the night and was accommodating. Sei Less did a great job hiring him!
Visited on a busy Friday evening with family on my trip to New York. It’s a short walk from Times Square and reflects that energy. There was a short wait at the bar for our table. The bar wraps all the way around a corner and had plenty of space. Drinks were good. I usually have something pretty simple but others at our table had signature drinks. We chose to share a variety of items so we could all taste them. There are some great items on the menu that I had either not encountered or were standouts for quality and preparation: Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice and both the Pastrami and Duck Spring Rolls come to mind. We also had some Pork Lo Mein that was very good.Staff was wonderful. Initial food items came promptly with some spacing as we went along.I’ll be back on another trip to the City.
Meh. Ive had better for much less cost.
I reserved to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was supposed to be a good experience but we received service which is very subpar. Server Neno is rude and not accommodating at all. It felt like he doesn’t want to serve our table. I would not recommend to any one who is more than group of 5 because it feels like they don’t care anymore since they can charge gratuity already!
A marvelous restaurant with cool vibes, graffiti walls, magnificent food and excellent wait staff. OMG the filet mignon melts in your mouth.
First time here and loved the vibe. Carlos was great! Explained every detail and very nice! Would def recommend.
Our family had a great time. Best chicken satays. Great waiter and staff although host not nice. Food great. Atmosphere fun. We just missed out on the hip hop music which we were really looking forward to hearing. We will go back and leave the kids at home next time lol.
Had a birthday celebration for my son’s girlfriend birthday at this Asian restaurant. We had a private room for 20 people. We had reservation for 7p -9p and we were running late due to weekend, holiday time. We got there around 7:30p and they were nice enough to extended from 7:30p to 9:30p. Place was packed. Room was cozy for your private time. . Head waiter Alexy was very friendly and courteous and attentive. Food was very good and tasty. It was family style menu. One thing though food portion could have been a bit more for 100$ per person. Between the appetizers and entrees I was full.
I had a girls night out here. It was a lovely experience. The wait staff was great and the food was delicious. I would recommend coming here.
Great restaurant! I love the food, drinks atmosphere and ambiance! Our waiter CARLOS was AMAZING! His attention to detail and description of every dish we ordered was so fascinating and refreshing to witness. If you come to Sei Less, ask for Carlos to get the full experience! Would definitely be returning and would definitely recommend.
Carlos was a great waiter. Good energy. Appetizers were good. Food was okay. The sei less drink was amazing!
Carlos was our waiter for my birthday dinner. He was very kind and friendly and very attentive to all of our needs. He made the experience here at sei less worth it, I will definitely be coming back again!
Carlos was the most welcoming person ever. He made our birthday dinner much more enjoyable. He attended to us at all times and always made sure we were good. We loved his personality and hospitality! Will for sure come back in hopes to have him again as our waiter.
Beautiful ambiance and great service... The food and drink were good. A bit pricey but worth the visit.
Sei less is a great restaurant that provides exceptional customer service and superb restaurant etiquette. Our waiter Carlos was extremely great and was very attentive to me and my guests every needs. He was knowledgeable regarding the food menu and provided great details that influenced our decision. I would definitely come back due to the service Carlos provided and the food was great.
Carlos was very attentive and considerate and balanced the workload so well and I will def check for him when I come back lychees were amazing thank you Carlos !
Carlos was so informative and friendly. You can say he is the best server I ever had. If I need to give 10 stars for service, I will. The food was great (Chicken dumplings) and the dessert was a chefs kiss.
Such a beautiful place, great service, great food.Love the new painting...Do More, Sei Less!
So I went there for lunch with my daughter. And you know the deal when you eat lunch in Manhattan it’s like you went to a five star gourmet restaurant. But what pissed me off is that they added gratuity to the bill and didn’t even tell me .. I almost double tipped them not that the service wasn’t good because it was the food was good a little light on the portions though. To add a 20% gratuity for two people to eat left a bad taste in my mouth .. Actually, I was going to tip them 25% so they screwed themselves. However if I didn’t read the bill I probably would’ve double tipped but the bill did seem Kind of high for what we had. If you want to keep business, I understand if you have a large party of five or more and you want to add gratuity I understand, sort of .but for two people very tasteless.
Carlos was phenomenal! He was very attentive, and hands on when making sure we had everything we needed. He suggested a great mocktail as well and his service was impeccable ! Down to the amazing dessert and sparkler for my birthday 🎉. Made our first experience wonderful, definitely will be returning. Shoutout to him!
Carlos is amazing! And the spot was beautiful but ..The prices were abit misleading. For example, they ask which rice you want, with your order as if its included, but there was an extra charge (no mention of it). Also, the price of my main course was a different price on the bill than in the menu. I probably wont return but is a pretty place
Carlos was very great. Check up on us a lot to make sure was was happy, very professional and nice. The food was 10 out of 10, and place was very beautiful and clean. My boyfriend took me here for my anniversary.
This was my first time at this restaurant and the hospitality is extraordinary. Carlos was my waiter and he has to be one of the most knowledgeable waiters Ive ever met. He knew the menu and the ingredients like the back of his hand. His service was impeccable and made my dining experience a remarkable one.
Everything here was great! I had the Sei Less Lobster Noodles as my entree. For appetizers, we shared the pan fried Chicken Dumplings, Lobster Spring Rolls, & Short Rib Bao Buns. The Do More, Sei Less cocktail was great as well. The service was exceptional! Ill definitely be back!
Carlos really knows his stuff! He created a great atmosphere for me with his knowledge and jokes. I would absolutely come here again. Give that man a raise!
Carlos our waiter was amazing. I wasnt sure what to order and Carlos recommended the Chilean Sea Bass which was amazing! Between the texture and flavor-everyrhing was perfect! I had the Lychee Martini which was so delicious! The food and service was a 10 at this place. It was my first time when I went and Im a happy customer. Cant wait to come back! Highly recommended!
Johhny nunez my bro and ace photographer ...enjoyed tge Ambiance aa always security well organized.
Carlos was an amazing waiter. He has provided excellent menu selections that have made my first time at Sei Less memorable. The service from Carlos and his fellow co workers was very professional from start to finish.
I went for the lunch special!Food: chicken satay is a must have - the peanut sauce was perfection! I DO NOT recommend the Beijing chicken at all, it’s so dry and really unpleasant to eat since it comes with no sauce. The vegetable spring roll was below average.Service: it was empty when I went so quick service. Great for large groups!Ambiance: beautiful and large restaurant! Keep in mind there are stairsSpent over $50 for lunch special ($30) + drink ($12), gratuity included.
Carlos is fantastic! Wow!!! service was top notch. Food was delicious and Carlos recommended and described everything with perfection. We had the crispy tuna rice and black pepper beef which were great. Cant wait to come back. Thank you Carlos for such an amazing experience.
We decided to have a birthday dinner at this restaurant. We arranged for a prefixed menu which included a 3 course meal for 13 people. First off, I would like to say that the service was great! Our waiters were attentive and they kept coming around to make sure that everyone was good and drinks were replenished. One of the main issues was the location of where we were seated, the entry way by the bar. This was probably the most non-intimate area as there were people constantly coming nearby to take photos and of course a lot of people at the bar which was in close vicinity. The speakers were right next to us and it was also a little too loud so it was difficult to hear one another. I was previously advised by the event coordinator that we were unable to get a private dining area because we didn’t have enough people in the reservation which was surprising as most restaurants allow for private dining for parties of 10 to 14 people. Even so, my expectations were a little different. I also have mixed reviews about the food. While the food itself was decent, the portions were small. For the price that was paid, it was disappointing as most of our guests left hungry. Overall, I would probably suggest coming here with a smaller group of people rather than with a large party.
Amazing experience. The food was so fresh with a lot of varietys and yummy twists! Our server was well educated on the origins of our foods, which made the experience even better. 10/10
Carlos was our waiter and we are from Philly he created a memorable experience, his expertise on the menu and food selection was top tier. God bless him and you are blessed to have him on the team!!! The food was amazingly delicious! Every item too! Two thumbs up let me not forget the vibes are everything and it’s a Wednesday kudos to you guys!
Went to Sei Less to celebrate my Sons birthday. Everything was great. The customer service was outstanding. The drinks are very good. They are strong not water down. The food was delicious. The ambience was nice. We had a great time. Definitely recommend this restaurant. I will be returning.
Great service from Megan and Dennis! The food was amazing. Celebrated my friend’s birthday at SEI-LESS and it was such an amazing experience
Outstanding Asian flavour food, carefully thought, cooked and served!
Absolutely delicious asian food! There were so many things on the menu that sounded great that it was so hard to choose, however we finally chose and we were not disappointed. The chicken satay was by far the best satay we’ve had. The chicken and the sauce would melt in your mouth. As for the main dishes.. both out of this world. The black pepper beef would literally melt in your mouth, we were a bit skeptical on whether it would be cooked too rare or not, but it was perfect! And the pao chicken was not any less good, it was sliiightly spicy, and full of flavour. The service was flawless too, we really appreciated our waiters.
Carlos was an amazing waiter and host. He provided 5star service and with every meal he, described each dish as if he was the chef and made me feel so comfortable ordering and consuming the food. 1000/10
My girlfriend and I met here for lunch. Our server, Carlos, was great! He was attentive and made wonderful recommendations. The vegetable lo mein and the margaritas were amazing! Would definitely come back again.
3/5 stars . Here’s whyI order the rock shrimp -the taste wasn’t so great., also very sweet .The chicken satay -pretty decent but as for the flavoring ( could of been better)Chicken dumplings very good no complaints .Shrimp friedrice is not suppose to come w/ Lima beans but the rice was very good definitely recommend . Serves twoSpicy chicken -was 30$ very pricey and the portion was small for that priceOverall I would recommend this spot the price for all was about 160$Also tip gets included in the bill.
Carlos was an amazing server. He catered to my every need and was very helpful. He deserves more than 5 stars
Carlos has the greatest service! Definitely will return back, came for brunch an had the up most best time! He explained what was on each dish that arrived to the table & was on top of everything. No complaints what so ever!! Thank you Carlos.
Carlos was an amazing waiter, very attentive and pleasant. He came in the perfect time for the drinks. I’ll definitely return for his services and the food was delicious!
We loved Carlos as our server! He was amazing. Food was amazing, I’m already thinking about my next visit here. 10/10 recommend.
Grrrreat overall experience!!!
Food was super below subpar. Overpriced. For Chinese food I can get better for less. Ambience and service was good.
Avoid this place at all cost. The atmosphere is extremely hostile and aggressive from the start. The guy at the door racially profiles you and starts asking irrelevant questions such as parking. As I was seated I wasn’t seen for atleast 10/15 mins and when served the employees act as if you’re asking for more than what’s served at this establishment. This place can get very hostile from what I’ve seen inside and honestly isn’t worth the one star review. Steer clear from this establishment.
Really large pretty ambiance. Server was a nice girl. They could go a little lighter with the oil and salt.
Food is sooo good .. service ok but food is delicious atmosphere is nice.. little pricey but the food so good it’s worth it 🤷🏾♀️
Absolutely the best! I have no pictures because everything was so good, we just dived right in. Just please go! We had the vegetable lo mein, beef and broccoli, chicken lettuce wraps, and the prawns! Ooo everything was so good! My husband and I will be back for sure.
Went to Sei less , place was beautiful and service provided by my waiter Carlos was amazing! He was kind and very knowledgeable about the menu. My dinner was served in a timely manner. I would come back and ask for Carlos !
DO NOT GO! This should be classified as catfishing. Dining here was my top 5 worst dining experiences. The food had no flavor whatsoever. The drinks were watered down. I tried various things on the menu and nothing was satisfactory. The worst part, it was overpriced, ridiculously over priced. My bill came out to $660. I couldve had better food at the local Chinese food store and spent a fraction of the cost. The only thing they have thats good, is the aesthetics. So if you want a photo opportunity, this is the place. If you actually want good food and a good beverage, with all due respect, please do not go. I would hate for anyone to waste their money to be disappointed. I shouldve stayed loyal to @taodowntown
Carlos was our waiter and he did an exceptional job. The food was immaculate and I highly recommend this establishment as a place for you to visit and enjoy.
Carlos was truly amazing. From the moment we sat down. He was very attentive. My friends took me to Seiless it and the food and service was great. Definitely will return again
Carlos was one of the best server I have had and the food was just amazing. Best spot for Sunday intimate dinner for 2. Carlos my man youre The best. You made the night super memorable and significant pleasant.
Great experience, great service and great food!!!
Carlos was a great waiter. Awesome energy and very attentive. I had a Lychee martini that was ok, food was pretty good and dessert was delicious. Overall we had a nice time. Bonus: there is a parking lot located next to the restaurant which was extremely convenient.
Carlos excellent waiter. He was very attentive. The best service I’ve had here so far. He explained the menu in great detail and even explained my order. He made sure I was satisfied every step of the way. Carlos gets a 10+
This place was amazing! Great food, cocktails, dessert, customer service, and ambiance. I enjoyed the music playing in the background. It was not too loud. We were able to have cocktails and conversations at the table and hear each other well. The food was packed with flavor and everything was just perfect. Small bites so order different plates to share. The BAO buns were the best I have ever had. Also customer service was outstanding. There was a person refilling the drinks, someone else giving us napkins, and just checking on us frequently ensuring we were good. Definitely make reservations!
There was a bug in my drink and i called over to ask the manager what he could do for me and he said we made u another drink there is nothing else i can do. I have been too every top restaurant in the city this is definitely not one, never have i had a dead fly floating in my drink and when confronted he made excuses for their carelessness, he was than rude and asked us to leave. Do not go here it is a dump dressed up as a high class restaurant
The food is not special, but its decent, i liked everything, but nothing im craving again. Dont think its worth the price, I guess people go there more for the ambiance. They charged for the bday dessert 👎the also have a card fee 👎
Lets start off by saying WOW. this place is incredible. i literally have never made a review in my life but i had to say something. Service 10/10 THEY CAUGHT MY KNIFE BEfore it fell. WHATTTTT food 10/10 atmosphere 10/10 will be telling everyone about this place!!!
Loved the service here!! The host down to the waiter was great. Ask for Carlos if you want great service. The drinks were great and I enjoyed the music. For a Monday night me and my girls def enjoyed ourselves.
Carlos was amazing! Great food! Perfect vibe!
The service was really good, the food and the environment for the price definitely didnt hit expectations. Would I ever come back here, definitely not.
My girlfriend and I came on the train from Harrisburg for my birthday weekend and she surprised me with dinner reservations here Sunday evening. We had dinner at around 8pm. The service was impeccable. The food... beyond delicious. We had shrimp satay for an appetizer, vegetarian chow fun, short ribs, and chilean sea bass. I could have ate the chow fun for a whole meal it was so good. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant was modern and had a great vibe. The only issue I had was although the upbeat music was great, it was playing way too loud. It was hard to have a conversation across the table without leaning really close in or yelling. Overall, definitely a 5 star experience and Id come here again any time Im in Manhattan.
We went to Sei Less for date night and had an amazing experience! The food was delicious, the cocktails were divine, but above all, our server, Carlos, was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the night even more enjoyable. Thank you, Carlos!
Carlos was the best! He was knowledgeable about the menu and had proper etiquette. He has the mannerisms to impress and the kindness to build relationships and that’s the key to any business. 5 stars Carlos!
I will definitely be back. The food and cocktails are phenomenal. I wasn’t a fan of one of the peanut chicken skewers, and the rock shrimp was a bit gummy instead of crispy. Otherwise great group dinner and perfect for birthdays, date night etc.
Came here for restaurant week, walked away frankly disappointed in the quality of the food. Chicken satay was unappetizing, and the black shrimp entree was bland served with undercooked white rice. Cocktail was nice and both desserts were delicious, but overall the meal was not worth the price point ($45 for the three courses, $20 per cocktail). This is a place where you are really paying for the atmosphere/vibe more than anything else.Shoutout to the staff who were incredibly attentive taking away plates and filling waters! Those guys rocked.
Carlos added an experience to our meal!!!So much so that that it bridged the gap between history and the ingrained influence that Chinese spices, food, and culture has taken in all of the different cultures that waist in New York. When you visit please be sure to ask for Carlos!!
Carlos was a very attentive and kind. Our drinks and food came in a timely manner and everything was delicious. We didn’t like a chicken we ordered and Carlos was able to take it off our bill.
To get straight to the point . Alex was a fantastic server 10/10 very knowledgeable about the menu. Ambience 10/10 . Very calming , very relaxing , lots of art definitely aesthetically pleasing . Drinks 9/10 depending on what you get . Lychee martini was great but the henny side car was about just ok . Food 7/10 . Very sugary ( i guess it depends on what you get ) filet mignon was too soft and slimy which was medium well. Not so tasty and too chewy . Pastrami spring rolls is ok not the bestttttttt. Fried rice ok and lomein just ok . Food wasn’t my fave part about this experience butttttt great customer service overall , nice ambience and if your willing to try i say do give it a a try !!!!!!!!!!!
Delicious dinner friendly staff and nice music. Carlos was so wonderful and lovely!
Me and my girlfriend love coming here the food and service is always amazing. Today Carlos took great care of us. We’ll be back a million times more.
Carlos and his support wait staff were amazing! Theyre attention to detail with deceiving menu items and attentiveness were superb. The food was amazing! Try the crab bites and lobster spoons
1 star for including tip and then asking for MORE tip on top of that when the receipt is returned to the customer. Not only that, customers beware, they hire someone to take your picture and then upcharges you money for it (just say no). The food was just ok, Id give it a 6/10 and does not justify the price. Im really not sure how this place got a 4.7/5 rating. Got tricked by trying it out due to this
Carlos was an amazing server… He Recommended some of the best food on the menu and can I say we are in love!!! Thank you so much Carlos for making our first time at Sei Les an amazing experience!
My mom was SO excited to get a reservation here for her birthday. She’s been talking about their 50th Anniversary Hip Hop Menu all week. I mean, like every single day. Even though the anniversary menu looked awesome, glancing at pictures online quickly revealed that the small serving sizes did not correlate with the whopping prices. First red flag. Nevertheless, we ventured to the times square area to celebrate and give this place a try! The ambiance in the restaurant is great and the location is super hip so when we got seated at our table we were still very excited. The staff who waited on us were kind and patient and even let us switch tables after our first table was a bit broken and wobbly which resulted in a spilled drink (second red flag). In terms of the food, I really have mixed if not negative opinions. The flavor parings on the chicken satay appetizer was confusing at best and remedial at worst. I ordered the popcorn shrimp appetizer which was PACKED with salt and little flavor other than MSG. The combination of insignificant presentation and lack of flavor simply didn’t make sense for the price point. We also ordered a house salad for the table which was also disappointing. The avocados were not ripe and the lettuce was barely pulled apart. In other words, the salad was a bit lazy. Only the delicious juicy tomatoes shined through. We ordered all three entrees which tasted the exact same: a large amount of sugar and salt with very inexpensive tasting meat and blah veggies. Every dish had basically the same sauce. It was no better than corner store chinese food. For almost 10 times the price. I was highly disappointed to say the LEAST but we all still had a good time, and again, the wait staff were darlings. Would not recommend this place at all, although I really want to considering the location, staff, and super fun menu. The cost did NOT correlate with the food quality, presentation, or quantity which was overall a disappointment.
Friendly staff, amazing food, great ambiance, not much more you can ask for.
Atmosphere was great . Food was wonderful . Service and ambiance was immaculate .
Sei Less is an Asian Fusion restaurant in midtown. It tried very hard to be like a combination of Tao and Buddakan, which is why my review is a 4. Its a convenient location for an Asian flair if you dont want to travel far from your offices. The front of the restaurant looks like an adult club due to its location and decorative style but expands into a pretty space once you walk inside and up the flight of stairs. The bar area is large with many TVs and tends to get loud and a bit rowdy later at night. The restaurant extends into the back of the space. The Sei Less cocktail was very tasty and worth a try. The food was tasty; tried the yellowtail sashimi, lobster spoons, filet mignon, amongst others. Really enjoyed the Crab Leg appetizer as well. Our waiter was excellent and very attentive. He had great recommendations for the group once we told him our collective flavor palette. Its on the more expensive side, so be prepared. As the night got later, the crowd seemed to get a bit less sophisticated which reduced the ambiance. Overall, a great place to try once and go back if you enjoy it. I prefer other similar options in the city.Location - 7Service - 10Quality - 8Ambiance - 6
Carlos was amazing! Very good service, the food was good and everyone was super nice. I came here for my bday with 2 of my friends and we all enjoyed ourself. I will def be back!
Came here for my birthday, and my favorite part about the restaurant was definitely the bomb music!!! overall, the staff was amazing. The restaurant looks good and the food was also really good. I came with my partner, and when we saw the dessert menu most of it had hazelnut which he is allergic to so I wish they had some chocolate options without hazelnut. But overall, I got the filet mignon and broccoli and it was super tender 😍😍😍😍
Lovely as always, pricey but worth it for a nice night out
Carlos was the highlight of my visit! Thank you for the great service! I did not taste one thing that I would want to come back for. I was a little sad because it was my daughters Birthday and I wanted to try a new place. Only to hear her say at the end We should have gone to TAO! The Birthday desert was not complimentary. I paid for it. I also paid for using my credit card. This must be new! Gratuity was automatically included so I did not leave an additional tip! It was the hardest $192.67 I spent for a meal we did not enjoy on my daughters birthday! Needless to say I will not be back and I will not recommend. My selections included Short Rib Bao Buns, Shrimp Tempura, Short Rib, Vegetable Low Mein, Chicken Wonton, Creme Brulee, Lychee Martini, Virgin Cocktail.
A few weeks ago, I went to this well-known Asian restaurant with a few friends. We ordered several items–rock shrimp, pork-fried rice, sushi, filet mignon, and more. Reid, our server, was excellent. He was helpful in giving us a thorough overview of every meal and drink we were looking to order. Most of the time, I say that the food can be just sufficient to make your dining experience superb–however, its really the combination of the tasty food and quality customer service that gives you a true, authentic experience. We had this situation here. Make sure that you are dressed well, as there are photographers that come around to take pictures. You should go here if you have the opportunity!
Carlos was Amazing!! He was extremely attentive and quick! It was my boyfriends birthday & he accommodated our every need!....I recommend Sei Less (food is awesome) and ask for CARLOS if you are there! 5 STARS!!
Great food & good vibes. This Asian fusion restaurant has nailed it - every dish was tasty! From the appetizers to the mains everything was delicious. Our whole group enjoyed ourselves. We had a ton of dietary restrictions and the waiter was super attentive with making sure that everyone was safe - he also made sure there were plenty of alternatives to accommodate. The lychee martini is very tasty - most of us chose to pair that with our meal. We really enjoyed our experience here & we will definitely be back.
Carlos was a wonderful host very calm and heart warming, he made my time here at Sei less that much better and memorable. I enjoyed the service and how fast everything was Carlos thank you
Amazing!! My partner & I went for dinner last night for restaurant week; the food was out of this world. It was absolutely delicious, and blew us away! It had a very cool atmosphere, and the service was quite impressive! The drinks were well balanced, and its by far the best Lychee Martini weve ever had! Highly recommend, we will be back in the future.
Carlos was the best waiter we’ve ever been seated with in ANY restaurant we have been to. He was kind, patient, helpful and very friendly. He gave great suggestions. Thank you so much Carlos!
The food, drinks, and music selection was great. I enjoyed the ambiance, we were a good size group. My biggest upset though was being charged over double for my bill, my friend as well was overcharged by at least 60%. I have reached out via e-mail multiple times to a manager and told the problem would be resolved, I have e-mailed multiple times following up - nothing. Disappointing, I wanted to like it much more.
Carlos was an excellent server. He was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and to have him as a server again.
Carlos was so attentive and kind when we visited Sei Less. I’ve lived in NYC and this was hands down the BEST service I’ve had in Manhattan. The food was also delicious, the music was great but the service was unlike any other. We will be back!
Carlos is an Awesome waiter. He made sure we were comfortable and had very thing we needed. He check on us throughout out dinner experience. He’s a Great.
Carlos was an amazing waiter. He was attentive to our needs and very friendly. The ambiance was lovely, will definitely come back.
Carlos was amazing. He made sure everything was great food was wellPrepared and hot! My drinks was awesome great customer service 10 thumbs up
We celebrated my husbands birthday here. I made reservations on OpenTable & we were seated immediately. Our waitor was good providing suggestions on what & when to order our main course. Their drinks are STRONG, and the bartender did not skimp on the liquor. The food was delicious!!! We ordered multiple appetizers & could not finish our main dishes. However, there is always room for dessert. The creme brulee was amazing. The ambiance was good. I like the fact that we were seated to ourselves for the majority of our visit but towards the end the music was turned up & as more people came to dine it got louder. FYI, they include the gratuity on the bill. Hope this helps.
Carlos was excellent and very attentive from the time we sat in his area. The atmosphere was inviting and energetic with perfect Instagram lighting lol! Definitely will be returning!!
Carlos was the best , very consistent, checked up on us . His small talk was also very good, it was relatable and funny. He also made sure my cousins birthday was complete with a sparkler surprise . Will be coming back vey soon .
Eh, not impressed. I was there for dinner last Friday and was not impressed at all. Not by the food, nor the service, nor the ambiance. The bao buns were good but the sweet and sour chicken I’ve had better from a less pompous restaurant. For the price I expected better. My daughter didn’t care for her salmon either. The dumplings were good. I probably won’t go back or if I do, I’ll just sit at the bar and have a drink.
This place is very beautiful but what made my night was the service from Carlos! He was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. He serviced us and the surrounding tables with care. Come here for the food and ambiance but especially Carlos!!!
Carlos was amazing! Very informative and the food was delicious! Thank you!
Came here for an event. The food was amazing. The vibe was ecstatic! I would go here again.
I’ve been here twice and it’s just not good. Go to philippe chow instead.
Carlos was a phenomenal server, he was knowledgeable, pleasant, charming and so attentive! He sold me on the Filet mignon and my drink the minute he spoke, such wonderful service and his recommendations were on point!
I had a great experience. The food was great, served in a timely manner and the presentation was great. Our server Carlos was amazing! I will definitely come back again.
Carlos, walked us through the menu. He gave solid suggestions and was very attentive. At the end of the dinner he brought out sparklers and had a photographer capture my gf and I as we celebrated our first anniversary
Carlos was great. Very attentive and explained the menu to us.
The atmosphere was great and the food was exceptional! The fried rice was recommended by a waiter named Henny and I can say he definitely knew the truth. I came home recommending it to my friends. 10/10 will definitely go back.
We went for my husband’s birthday while we were on vacation in NYC and the food was top. The customer service also very good. The only thing is that is a bit expensive but I guess you pay for the atmosphere and food.
My husband and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary tonight! We had an amazing time! Carlos our waiter went above and beyond in meeting our needs! Be sure to ask for him when you stop by! You will not be sorry!! ;-)
The food was trash , the portion of the meat was also of a small amount and the chicken was raw . I don’t recommend and for the price! I still can’t come to terms of what costed so much .
Carlos- was an AMAZING HOST! He paid such great attention to us and was always there at the ready. I would definitely be back just for him!
Really good one! highly recommanded
Today we had lunch at Sei Less located on W38 and 7th Ave, in the city. Carlos and the team were amazing. He was so patient with explaining their vegan options and recommending ideas to help in bringing the Sei Less experience to life. I Highly Recommend this place.
Easily & quickly seat for our reservation. 6:30 on a Tuesday, it was empty. People trickled in soon after. Danica was a Sweetheart at the bar. She was a great bartender. We had the duck spring rolls, fried pork dumplings, and filet mignon & broccoli. Everything was really good ! Can’t wait to go back and try more items !
SEI Less in NYC surpassed all my expectations. The food was exquisite, especially the sashimi. Our Server Carlos had knowledge and impressive recommendations, taking the dining experience to the next level. The attentive service and perfectly crafted drinks added to the overall ambiance. SEI Less is a hidden gem that offers an unforgettable evening of fine dining. Highly recommended!
Terrible service I went there with my boyfriend and the sever JOAN was very racist will not be going again! I ordered for takeout and she asked my boyfriend for ID as he was paying with his card we didn’t order any alcohol so there was no reason for her asking for ID she then proceeded to move away into better lighting to make sure the ID matched his ID which I find is crazy and honestly I feel terrible that we were treated this way. The whole time JOAN was being very condescending. I tried contacting the manager multiple times and can’t get through. I emailed them and hope to hear from them soon!
Food and drinks was amazing ! Our waiter Carlos was great as well- was very patience and checked in to make sure our food and everything was good. I will definitely be back.
Food is okay but the service was terrible. The server(Neno) was very rude and inhospitable. Since we are group of 5 and the bill already had gratuity he didn’t even care how we are doing. Never going back to this place!
I had an absolutely fantastic meal here last night. The atmosphere is what I would describe cozy but elegant and the service was top notch! I highly recommend Sei Less to anyone looking for a quality Asian Fusion experience especially for a date night!
First time dining at Sei Less and was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and vibe. A lot more spacious than user photos show. Our waiter, Carlos was beyond amazing and very attentive, read us the nights dinner specials and gave us suggestions from the cocktail menu. Food came out fairly quick, piping hot and the portions were generous. Good presentation and delicious meal. We did not want to over indulge and were going to an event nearby after dinner and wanted to be doggy bag free. Great atmosphere, inquired about the availability of the valet parking and will definitely be dining here again one day. Shhhhhhhh....Sei Less!
