One of the few places where you get amazing views of one Vanderbilt summit and Empire State. Good selection of drinks and service is quick. Not too crowded.

Great place that felt so calm, quiet and relaxed, probably because no loud music. The views from the rooftop are stunning. We visited on Saturday night, and it wasnt crowded. It was a beautiful summer evening. The service is great, the prices are similar to other rooftops. I would definitely recommend that spot if you want feel comfortable, relaxed, be in a quiet and at the same time in rewarding with the great city view place.

I really loved sitting at the bar and just having a drink and a little snack. The atmosphere is super cozy and the staff are just so wonderful. I have loved every bit of my stay here and coming to the roof to have an evening drink!

Great views of the city, especially at nightFound the service to be lacking where we had to go to the bar after waiting for 10mins for a menu and to get the bill.We tried the season cocktail (plum ume) which just tasted like $26 glass of fireball...

Great views, bunch of space inside as well as on the terrace. You can go around the two sides and take as many pictures as you like. The waiters were super helpful. Cocktails were nice, but on the more expensive side, but I guess you pay for the view. You can get to the place by taking an elevator from the hotel.

What a great find for NYE! Thanks to Melissa and the team for a memorable visit! Was very lucky to get a table but the views were great and service was good! Not cheap but not a rip off either considering the location. Was a great start to our holiday.

Wonderful spot in New York City. It opens at 5pm, and you have views of the empire state building on one side and the chrysler building on the other. A romantic evening. I had one drink which was excellent for $23.00. You are in New York City after all. Worth the expense.

Wonderful bar, attentive staff, exceptional service. I went after work with colleagues to celebrate my birthday and had an amazing time on the rooftop bar with a view of the Chrysler and MetLife building. I was pleasantly surprised when the manager Brandon and his team of staff brought out the slice of cake with candle singing birthday song. I will definitely go back again and would recommend to my friends.

Great new spot in Midtown South. The Kitano converted its penthouse events space into a GREAT new bar....fantastic!!

We were happy to be the first guests at this great rooftop bar of the Kitano hotel. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The drinks are awesome. And the food choices are plenty for a bar setting. It’s a great place for a pre-dinner drink or to wind down the day. And of course the view is spectacular. We will definitely go back!

Nice Rooftop spot! The service is so simple and efficient, and the staff very welcoming. Everything is just right with this restaurant.** Located on the penthouse (18 Floor) of the hotel Kitano.I love pistachio and The Pistachio Cheesecake was the best I have had by far! Small but very filling plates and common drink. I will be a regular that’s for sure!

Elegant and traditional. Beautiful view. If you want a quiet place to enjoy your drink this is the place. A little bit old fashioned.

Cocktails were delicious but expensive. The bar tender had a heavy hand tho. Combined with the view, its priceless 👌.

Delicious cocktails and great ambiance! The drinks are around $22/each which is pricey but given the area and being in a fancy hotel, makes sense.Would come back again! We asked for some off menu drinks i.e “Can you make me something with midori” and delivered and absolutely delicious drink.Super nice waitstaff as well

Low key but nice rooftop. Good view of the Empire State. Decent small plate food options. Outside space is nice but could use a bit of a furniture and music upgrade. Predominantly tourists.

The views and the environment are great but the drinks are just okay. I had a jalapeño margarita that came to around $25 and. It seemed to lack heat. It’s a nice happy hour spot though for sure. Someone else had a rosemary fizz that wasn’t memorable.

Great outdoor space with simple decor and amazing views. Service was great. But the prices are out of control. When did it become ok to charge 30 bucks for a glass of wine that retails for under 50?

I stopped by here for pre dinner drinks on Saturday night around 7pm. Great polite “Japanese class” hospitality and stunning view of Empire State bldg. In NYC many rooftop lounges are too clubby and very loud, but this place is very classy and calm and I found it rare and appreciate it.

Lovely view, but the drinks, food and service were nothing special. The cocktails were either too sweet or just poorly balanced. The food was okay, but at like 7:30pm we were told we couldnt order more food because the chef was on a break.

The service here, as of July of 2022, was almost laughably terrible. Solo traveler, woman, here in NYC on business. I had two waiters in succession, both of whom had to be flagged down even to take my orders (one order, for a single appetizer and drink, followed by another for the same, but only after I was told that I had to wait because the cook, only an hour after opening, was on a 20 minute break). No return from either to see how I was doing, or what I else I might need after the initial order to my table was delivered. I, and, as I observed, the other rooftop patrons on my side of the restaurant, had to leave the outdoor seating area and go inside in order to retrieve and then pay our bllls. Food was tolerable, drinks OK, service abysmal.

The view from the rooftop is incredible. The service was a bit unfriendly. We were a group of 4 people and asked for a seat and had to wait a little longer for our seat even though the bar was not overcrowded. The prices of the cocktails are rather pricey.
