Best happy hour in NYC! $7 cocktails and light bites. Great service, nice vibes and excellent cocktails. Love love love this bar!

Found this place while visiting the area. Ordered the fish tacos and a order of wings. Wasnt impressed. Food was bland and needs some additional seasoning. I will say the Roller girl drink was really good. Service was good as well. Id go back but just for drinks.

Finally, a place on the Lower East Side that has draft beer that isnt a dive! When I stepped into Rickys, I was immediately greeted by Anthony who showed me to the bar where I was given a menu of the 20 beers they have on tap, plus other selections. The ambiance was calm and cool but not pretentious. It had an open atmosphere that still allowed for intimate conversation. The smaller area in the back allows for special gatherings without the interruption of the first room. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and paid attention to their customers. Special taps will be brought in allowing for an even more extended beer menu. Cant wait to return. Definitely on my Go To list when I visit New York!

$7 for a happy hour espresso martini is iconic. Quality espresso martinis too, not one of these watered down, low effort, danced on canned espresso martinis... Sorry a lot of descriptors there but they came from my soul.A reasonable happy hour from 4-7pm too. $7 at 6:59pm, $17 at 7:01pm. It really grinds my gears when places advertise a happy hour but its from 4-6 M-F only... like I cant even physically make that. I guess I gotta go harder for financial freedom...I sat here at the Pretty Rickys bar with my big homie, surrounded by Halloween decorations, ripping a couple $7 espresso martinis while just sitting there talking about life.Pretty Rickys is doing inflation how Ilia Topuria did Max Holloway last night. Great Happy Hour spot with cheap prices on food and drink. All the cocktails were tasty and strong. While the food portions were smaller, they were just enough for happy hour. The music was nice and the space was large and had an indoor outdoor vibe, that is just perfect for the summer.

I visited here for Happy Hours. The food and drinks are all GOOD! But the music was so loud inside, that it was hard to talk. Overall, it was good!

This turned out to be the most disappointing bar I’ve ever visited. When I came here, I ordered the “Elle Woods Would” and was met with an overflowing cup of ice. At first, I thought it was only a ball of ice on top. Little did I know it went all the way to the bottom, just like my hopes. I finished the whole drink in two sips. When the waitress came over, I asked if this was normal, and she said with barely a straight face that all cocktails in the LES are like this. This is not true, and I have never seen so much ice before or since in a drink. We left and got another drink around the corner with a significantly better ice to drink ratio.My recommendation is to order your next drink without ice here.

I didnt take pictures of the cocktails because they were so good, we enjoyed so much, that i forgot about taking picture...Such a great surprise. From outside, you dont expect a so beautiful place. Service was amazing, kind and perfect !We will come back and try food-snacks. We already recommend this place to friends and they loved it !

Delicious American comfort food in a spacious setting. The couches are perfect for a Sunday night dinner. The mac and cheese was the standout!

Blacktail bartender Pop-up was amazing, I was so happy to see one of my favorite pre-pandemic bars perform with so much energy. The people was amazing, drinks were delicious, the mojitos were solid. Would love to experience this again. Thank you guys for an amazing evening!

Great happy hour deal for oysters! And they tasted super fresh. Only $7 for five or six different food options and $7 for on tap cocktails. Other food also available. Fish tacos were tasty but a bit too wet. Cool bright space but music was way too loud.

We cannot say enough good things about Pretty Ricky’s! For starters, it’s very inviting! Upon entering, the atmosphere is lively, The host, servers and staff are all friendly and helpful. The food is very good. We had the chickpea and focaccia dish! The Cosmo and peach cocktails are amazing!

I was out looking for a good craft beer spot and I’m glad we found Pretty Ricky’s. Great selection of local craft beers and big selection of cocktails and really cool atmosphere.Ive been working in the service industry for 20 years and I see how dedicated the staff providing outstanding customer service. Water on the table once you sit down, and if your beer has a few sips left, another beer or drink for you? Had the best time here with friends from out of town. The vibe was immaculate and perfect for a hot summer night. Friends were so impressed with quality of food, delicious beers and friendly service. Would recommend Pretty Rickys for any kind of gathering.

1 star for the incredibly disrespectful manager on a slow Saturday night. I will never be back. Hands down, the most awkward experience I’ve ever had in a bar.Great service and kindness from bartenders and bouncer. I enjoyed the times I spent here as a local/regular, but I’m never coming back.

Cool vibes. We sat for drinks and apps around 930 on a saturday, by the time we wanted to order round 2 the place got bumpin and we couldnt even flag down our waiter. Was a little annoying having to wait/ try to find him for like 15 mins but would go back for standing at the bar (not sit at a table).

Honestly Pretty Ricky’s is my favorite place. Their cocktails are amazing and the food is pretty good too. The best part is the service.. I absolutely love the staff. There’s a waitress that always knows I’m coming in for my favorite Pretty Rickys cocktail.. the Paper Plane.. must try!!! I love how the place looks and the ambiance. It’s always so much fun.

My friends and I come here at least once a week for after work drinks. Great vibe, drinks, food, & bartenders. They have a fantastic happy hour as well. Also love their staff! My new designer sunglasses and my ysl lip gloss fell out of my bag one night and I came back 3 days later and they held on to them for me. I thought I was never gonna see them again! Never have a bad night here.

I was sad to see Spitzers close and was skeptical if any bar could replace a fun night at Spitzers. I was wrong to be skeptical because the team at Pretty Ricky’s DELIVERS! This place rocks. Happy hour here is $6 for select cocktails. Secret great place for a HH with a friend! Friendly staff and $6 espresso martini was 10/10.

For context: I’m 74: fun place. I could have been everyone’s grandfather. High energy, intelligent, fun with excellent and friendly service, ice cold craft beer on tap and surprisingly good food.

My experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. The service was slow and unprofessional, and when I tried to address my concerns with the management, they were dismissive and unhelpful. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to others.

Great happy hour food and drinks, very nice interior, and very loud.

Pretty Rickys was just pretty ok. We went on a Saturday night and the music was incredibly loud, you could barely talk to other people. The portion sizes were just too big and it was just ok. Drinks and food were expensive.

I got the pesto tagliatelle, delicious and tasted homemade. Big portion. Great playlist, music was good and service was great.

We came here just for some drinks as we waited for a friend and Im so glad that we found it! The vibe is good, the crowd is mixed and the drinks are flowing. We got the french fries, which may be the best fries that Ive ever had! Theyre double fried, so the crunch and flavor is absolutely amazing!

It took 20 mins for the bartender to make my Gin and Tonic. I ordered a drink and paid, then he started to take other orders and serve them first! I’m sorry, but why it takes so long to make Gin and Tonic-15 seconds? I was asking him after ten 10 mins where is my drink, and he was so rude to me! He was like I have so many customers! Bad bad bad service! VERY DRUNK BARTENDER! Avoid this place!

Awesome bar and super chill vibe. Great selection for drinks and good food (burger was delicious. Service was perfect and overall great experience. Only complaint is overly loud music but other than that, 👌🏼

Always a go to for costumes and makeup especially for Halloween. Make sure to get there earlier in the month as it becomes extremely busy the closer to Halloween comes. Always an easy a go to place to find whatever costume or costume makeup youre looking for. Recommend

This place is such a gem! It’s very lowkey but has a good vibe, it feels pretty upscale but the drinks are not a crazy price. This is a good place to catch up with friends.

Danger, danger, danger!! You may have one too many…. But With prices like that your wallet won’t regret it. Mayyyyyyybe just your dignity in the morning…. And looking back on where all the debochery started, you’ll know it was a great choice.Highly recommend for budget friendly feasting!

Pretty Ricky’s has some of the best service in all of NYC. Very clean and great selection of draft beer and spectacular craft cocktails.

Most of the women staff were great and one dude in a white sweater. But we had an emergency where one of our friends had a seizure in the bar and a staff member in a black shirt and chain kept yelling at us to pick up glasses while we were trying to make sure our friend wasn’t going to be concussed. Very rude.

Pricey drinks for LES but breezy spot for the summer

This is my first time ever writing a review and it is a negative review. My daughter who is 25 was visiting NYC for the weekend. She is a 105 pound girl from Georgia who enjoys a cigarette when she is having drinks. She was with a group of friends and it was late (0200) when she stepped out to have a smoke. When she tried to go back inside to join her friends again the bouncer refused to let her back inside. She didn’t have her phone or her purse with her. It was 0200, freezing temperatures (not Ga weather) and she was without a phone or money. She was outside for an hour like this and he never let her inside to rejoin her friends or let them know she needed her phone. Ridiculous and I’m amazed this dude has a job. Finally, when the lights of the bar turned on everyone realized what he had done and the bar tender did apologize. My daughter said the bar is great and the bar tender was apologetic when he realized what had happened. So basically this review is of the bouncer.

We wandered into this bar after lunch at Essex Market, it was amazing! Fully vaccinated seating indoors meant we didnt have to worry about other people. The bartender was amazing, he pulled three cocktails out of thin air based on what people liked, and he was really cute and fun to talk to. Our two-birthday group really enjoyed our big day out in Manhattan because of Pretty Rickys.

They know how to take a space and build it out in understated class, add interesting cocktails/ beverage menu and add tasty dishes with a fun atmosphere. Another great joint with an excellent beer selection this time. If I could give it less than 1 star I would… Went to Pretty Ricky’s with a large group on Saturday night. It was the first stop of the night and we hadn’t even had 1 drink yet. The bouncer told us that one girl standing in the back of our group was too drunk… The guy wouldn’t let her in. He was on a power trip. Needless to say we asked for the manager and he denied and we left. Will probably never go back again.

Bartender is a weird intense dude that has the disposition of a sunburnt angry gym teacher. Not a vibe. Place used to be cool though

New place, nice interior and good beer selection. Bar bites also very nice with some vegan options. Has a low key vibe, yet a bit more upscale than the neighboring dive bars (which I also like). Service is good. Clean. Pricing isn’t OTT, you won’t go wrong here.

I had a blast when visiting with a fairly large group of friends. Great beer selection, friendly bartenders/servers, and yummy snacks that were gobbled up in an instant.

This place was good but not amazing like the other reviews have said. If you find yourself a few blocks away then it’s worth a visit, otherwise not worth making a trip for. The food and drinks were good. It is just a bar though. Honestly the inflated all 5-star reviews made this a bit disappointing....

Mostly good cocktails (would avoid the coffee one). Great beer selection. The food is good as well but would recommend front the bar to cut it off as Friday and Saturday evening start. Expect the bar vide to quickly shift from lounge to blaring social scene during this time as well. My party had a tough time talking over the speakers as it got progressive louder throughout the night.

Awesome cocktails and food, an impressive selection of 20 craft beers, friendly and attentive staff, and open corner views! Highly recommend the Aruba Dad and Disco Shrimp cocktails along with the Chicken Burger.

Its cool, trendy, young and vibrant - like the others. The doorman (Anthony) should be paid a bonus. Hes your identity and added some differentiation to the 100 other places nearby.
