Amazing! Found on Google while visiting NYC, had to try it out and definitely found a favorite. Food was delicious and great portions for the price, the beers were HUGE, the staff is so nice, and the vibes are immaculate. 10/10, coming back next visit for sure
Such an interesting and awesome place. Their fries are so good. Their drinks are great. Great place to hang with friends and watch the games. Definitely will be going back soon.
Stopped for a beer but ended up having three and some food. Was a lively atmosphere and the beer was cold. Calamari and buffalo chicken fingers hit the spot too.
Thank you for the great times I had back in the day when the buildings and roads were being redone. I used to go to this bar all the time. I told the guys there about how my mom can shoot tequila better than anyone. When my parents came down they had the best time! I have always been thankful for your hospitality. Nebraska.
Cant rate the food because I didnt have any. I just stopped in for a beer and a Jameson. I got a kick out of the bras on the ceiling, it was different. It was very crowded but I managed to get a seat at the bar. The atmosphere seems like a small step up from a frat party. The price for the Heineken and Jameson wasnt bad for the area but more than Ive paid at some other dive bars. Its a cool place to check out at The Seaport especially if you like a lively atmosphere.
Jeremys Ale House: where the beers are HUGE, the cups are bigger, and bras hang from the ceiling. Its a dive bar with character (and questionable hygiene). You wont be disappointed.A lady was missing an eye so I took the star off. This was the only pub opened during Covid. So included photos from those glorious days
I didnt eat any food so ignore my ratings on that but the service, the atmosphere is aces in my book. Spent the afternoon here watching a euro match and a fun evening it was. Also beers are huge. Huge.
Stopped by here for a drink since we were around South Street Seaport. Bouncer/security guard was super chill and nice. Their drink cups are huge. Bras freely hanging on the ceiling. Great vibes, lots of throwback songs, everyone was singing, it was FUN!
This is a place that if you go to Manhattan you have to go without a doubt, more than recommended, very authentic, unique, special. I was with my family and it was very special. shes wearing a bra hehehehe
Amazing place, the great div baar in NYC. They serve 32 oz beers at just 10$. Vibe is super chill, must visit once.
Great place to hang out and enjoy some drinks. Love the decor. Have to try the food next time.
One of my favorite bars in ny. Went here two months ago. Came back today and my bra is on the wall with my name and picture. Not sure how it got there but I like it
A typical hole in the ground New York dive bar. Typical bar food and huge beers. The atmosphere gives this place a special feeling.
The food was okay. The main point of Jeremys Ale House is the size of the drink (it is totally worth the cost).
The place is nice and the decor is stunning. Yo should visit this place, take a beer and laugh with his owner. He is very funny. The food is nice and prices are according with the place (no expensive). Recomended!
Jeremys is the best. My wife and I come here often for margaritas and some of the best bar food in the city. Bartenders are great, servers are attentive, and the drinks are always cold (unless its a hot drink). To all the snowflakes crying racism, shame on you.
Perfect place to daydrink on a hot august day. Big beers, sports on the screens and service with a smile. Whats not to like?
Had a huge drink and lots of greasy food. It was great!
Ive been coming here in fits and starts for the last 25 years or so... even when it was at the prior Mad Max style location up the road. I never break the bank during my visits and I really have never lingered more than 2 hours, yet my friends and I always have an amazing time here and we end up meeting great people from around the globe. The staff are amazing as well. I actually intend on taking my kids here when theyre of age in a few years. A truly original gem.
Do not order the chicken wings! Cant explain but i know nobody would eat them, whats worse is the bartender vouched for the awful appearance and taste of this ONE wing that I couldnt even finish.. Yes that bad.. Also ordered a FRIED chicken sandwich one day and got a horrible piece of grilled chicken.. bottom line this is a place for drinking dont waste your money on food here unless its the last spot your visiting for the night and your STARVING and with that dont order the wings!!!
Great pub food and great for sports. They make really good super sized cocktails and have a fantastic selection of beers. Steve, DJ and Milton are legendary bartenders. Always a blast!
One of the best bars in the city. Im glad its been able to keep its personality through Jeremy + his son. I love this place and the personality/attitude it has. I am glad it has found a need to re-model itself and shape itself to fit the new trendy model. The beer is cheap and delicious. The food is cheap and also delicious. I have been going to this place for 6 years (even during the pandemic) -- truly one of the few places in NYC that deserves 5 stars.
Stopped into this bar with my partner to catch the last few minutes of a game and unfortunately left pretty disappointed. I ordered two basic mixed drinks and was served massive, 30+ oz cups without any warning about the supersized portions or prices. Perhaps my fault for not noticing the dimly-lit chalkboard prefacing large drinks, but…When I got the $43 bill pre-tip I was shocked. A little heads up from the bartender about the large pours and price points before taking my order would have set expectations properly. While the atmosphere is lively, and the drinks themselves were fine, the lack of transparency around pricing was frustrating. Clear communication and visible pricing could improve the experience. Probably a better spot for beer, as the name suggests - I just hope this constructive feedback will prevent surprises for future patrons.
This place was near our hotel and had good reviews so we checked it. The food was really, really good (great meat to bun ratio) , and the beer cups were more like beer buckets. I had an Italian sub hero that was full of flavor (get the hot peppers as recommended)! Definitely make a stop here!
4.5 stars rounded down. Inexpensive dive bar. 12 oz ($6?) draft beer served in disposable plastic cups. Nonchalant service. Cute outdoor seating in a quiet street in the Seaport area. Quiet on a Tuesday 4:30pm.
Came across from the pier 16 ferry looking for simple food with outdoor seating somewhere that wasnt at the south street seaport mall.We saw the huge beer glases walking by with people sitting outside.Good choice.Staff was great, bartender funny and very helpful.I was very happy that the bill wasnt that crazy, we ordered tons of stuff. We enjoyed tequila, beers, juice, calamari, wings, fries.Very simple and good atmosphere I recommend. I was hosting friends a good choice we made coming here.
Great spot. Amazing prices and delicious food.
Local haunt. Giant beers and great food. Beyond reasonable prices.
Nice spot. But the place is a little dated. However, drinks are good - u will feel a buzz. Also, I love their seasoned fries... delish! Oh, and ladies, if u have an old bra, take it to Jeremys. If youve never been there, go see for yourself.
One of my favorite bars for over 30 years.... best atmosphere in the seaport
Great easy going bar. Very large food menu for the area and all surprisingly reasonably priced. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was excellent. It had two chicken cutlets slathered in buffalo sauce on really great hero bread. Loved the beer in the soup container. Great spot to grab some simple food and drinks. Will be frequenting more often. But if you want more of a home bar feel with super friendly staff just stick to fish market.
Seaport staple. A must to grab a beer and cheap (tasty) eats! Love this place!
Good place to hangout with friends near Brooklyn bridge. They serve wide variety of beer on the tap and other drinks aswell.Good place.
Love this place. Especially on bring a bra get a free drink day. I took my roommates so it’s like I made money. She won’t even notice!
The place has changed drastically. The prices, the crowds and the staff. I have great memories of the awesome nights and the people here. It just doesnt feel the same anymore. Seems like after the pandemic, the bar had to make many changes to keep up with the economy and conform with new laws surrounding serving alcohol. Cant blame them for that but definitely not the same experience as the old school Jeremys Ale House. Regardless, I still like the place.
No A/C kinda killed it for me when the heat index was over 100. Not much bar seating so not ideal for solo travellers. Super good prices though and interesting vibe. Will have to come back sometime when its less hot. Also cant say Im a fan of the way the owners replied to some of the other reviews here.
The drinks here are outrageously big and I love it! Super reasonable prices. Overall and fun and super casual vibe. Also there are a lot of bras in the ceiling lol
This is the best dive bar around, inexpensive beer in huge 32 oz plastic cups. A great environment and amazing food. Their buffalo chicken sandwich is the best!! I cant think of a better spot for lunch when I am in the city.
Great little bar, interesting decor.beer served in large plastic cups.found this on a hot day while visiting from australia. great place, staff very friendly too. thanks
We stumbled across this place while touring around and didn’t expect much. It’s a dive bar with character. Good craft beers and food. Not rating it a 5 as drinks are served in plastic cups and food is served in styrofoam. Hopefully this changes.
2nd time in the City.. had to come back. Everyone is incredibly friendly and serve tasty bevies!!
A Throw back spot we would frequent from time to time back in early 2000. Drinks/food /atmosphere still feel the same. Ill definitely be back!!!
Drafts are MASSIVE! Vibe is very chill. Staff is super friendly. Food is not of the best quality but everything else made up for it. If you ever go there, don’t forget to look up! 🤣🤣🤣 will return for a few brews next time im in town.
The vats of beer are huge and almost the same price as other bars’ standard size. Divey in a good way as well. Highly recommend checking it out for some brews
We had our dinner here today...very reasonable price ...the 2 guys behind the bar were awsome.....we both had a burger and fries...i had a beer....which was BIG...wife had juice...all in under 40 bucks.....busy friendly bar thankyou 💙🔥😎
The bartender charged my card 57$ for two aperols. The cocktails were big, but I feel like he added whatever tip he decided to take without showing me a check or letting me know about it. The bar was full of guys in their 20s, but they would not come to talk to beautiful girls, just kept it in small circles, so I think its a gay bar where strait beautiful girls were not welcomed
I absolutely love this bar, the atmosphere and the people. I have been here plenty of times when I come to the City to visit my family. It can get a little cramped in there on busy nights, but is one of the few bars in NYC youll find where everyone is an equal when they walk in.
Tap beer in styrofoam cups. Bras on ceiling. No miller lite bottles 👎🏽. Curbside seating in nice
Great drinks and food at a reasonable price. Short walk to Pier 17 concert venue. My wife and I love love love Jeremys!
Great for a true dive bar experience after work. The service and the drinks were great.
This is the dive bar of all dive bars, but I love it more than any other dive bar in the world! The manager is awesome, the staff is friendly and Im pretty sure theyd throw anyone out if they looked at you the wrong way!Super cold and CHEAP hugeeeeee beers, good bar food and delicious potato chips that are fried and served with cheese. HEAVEN!
Love the bras and tags on the wall. Customer service is great. I love the food. Very modern casual menu.
This place is the best. Been here a handful of times, and Ive had a great experience every time. The food, drinks, and beer are phenomenal and so is the staff!
Been here with my Dad for Fathers day. EXTRA larger beer had him smiling form ear to ear.
What can I say? Sports bars not usually my scene but the drinks here are huge, cheap and the food is much better than it needs to be. If you find yourself in the nabe I think this is the only place you could go? Reasonably?
This place has always been here and will never leave... an awesome spot to drink cheap beers with friends and watch NY sports games on their many TVs. They have a bar menu which is great too. They serve the big beers in large styrofoam cups which is always fun to drink out of!
Amazing place to feel the local vibe.
The veggie Burger is good! The beer also! I like the fact we must order and pay first.
This bar was great!! Cheap drinks and amazing vibe!! Everyone was great, customers and employees!! Cant wait to go back!! Im from NC and yall made my visit awesome!! Thanks again!! Definitely going to recommend yall to friends going to visit!!
Not bad... ended up here for the beginning of the Super Bowl. Very low key dive spot, but had a fun atmosphere almost reminiscent of some of the fun spots along the beach in Fort Lauderdale or Key West, even. They had a complimentary buffet, order at the counter kind of bar, and seats which were much a la plastic lawn chairs. Perfect for a sports watching venue. Bras hanging from the ceiling and along the bar? Just icing on one classy cake!
THE ALE HOUSE is VERY NICE. The Atmosphere is VERY conducive to fine Dinning. I LOVE THE BOOTHS. THE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT dont Rush you. Its VERY QUAINT and Relaxing. The service Associates are Professional and courteous and Personable 😊
Lovely beer in the sun with the super friendly locals!
Wow... just wow. What a place. This is the definition of dive bar. The bras on the ceiling, the giant pours, and the overall vibe. Its definitely worth going at least for a drink.
Great times with good buddies and cold beers. Will be back !
Still love Jeremys--cheap beer, good food. its been a while since Ive been there (since the old location down the block), this new spot is way smaller and no backyard. We had a couple apps, lunch and icy cold beer-great crowd and nice bartenders. Bathroom is a disgrace though, so bring your Purell.
Jeremys Ale House is the quintessential NYC dive bar with one very unique article of decor that has become the trademark of the place. That item is womens brasiers. Yes, you read that correctly. There are bras hung up throughout the establishment. Many signed by the female that dared to donate the item.As with most dive bars, this place gets loud, crass and plays good music. They also offer a passable burger and fries lunch special for those interested in eating something while drinking. One redeeming feature of this place is that it became the go to destination for first responders that worked in downtown Manhattan both after the 9/11 terrorist attacks and after Super Storm Sandy devastated the Seaport. Throughout the establishment you will discover patches, plaques and letters of appreciation from law enforcement and first responder services near and far.
Hands-down the trashiest bar Ive ever been to in my life. It gets two stars for having the cheapest drinks in the area, which makes total sense. It looks like a mix between a soup-kitchen cafeteria and an old folks home recreational lounge. There are literally used bras hanging around the entire bar, and signatures all over the ceiling tiles (which are of the boring white-cork office variety). I would say check it out just so you know what its like, but I doubt youll want to come back here.
This is an unpretentious genx staple your bra to the ceiling bar. Ive been here repeatedly and I know what its for.
Fun place, albeit a self described dive bar. Some elements come across as a little try-hard (bras hanging from the ceiling and beer in plastic cups), but its actually quite well looked after. Tables were all clean and the staff were friendly. The beers are standard fare, but the prices are hard to argue with (everyone was ~$6 plus there are some crazy happy hour offers).
The place is great affordable spot for lunch and afterwork... Nothing fancy, very comfortable environment. Great staff and owner... people that come though are awesome too if they dont mind mingling...
Nothing like drinking tap beer out of quart size chinese soup containers. Unique place. Little quiet for my liking at the time i went. Sure it is more lively later in day.
No table service, order at the bar. Very friendly, cool, layback location. Teriyaki chicken wings are very good. Food and beers are affordable. Not sure about other drinks.
So- if youre expecting a classy place, dont go here...if you want to have a good time (and be surrounded by signed bras!) then come here! Beers are served in massive styrofoam cups and are cheap for NYC. Everytime Ive been there the staff has been extremely friendly! Highly recommend +++
Look. Its a charming small bar that has its 64oz styrofoam beer cups ($11) thing goin for them with whimsical chandelier of bras and sharpie graffiti aesthetic for low-key vibe effect. Its nothing more nothing less. You will NOT get happy hour prices before 4:00pm. You will need to deal with 2-3 stalls. You have to watch out for your food order because they yell for you to pick it up. You can open a tab but they wont remember your name. Its all charmingly inefficient. People all ages come for a beer or two while the juke box plays smattering of pop hits mostly from early 2000s and one country song.
Imagine a dive bar by the water of Final District Manhattan, New York City, NY -- this place is the best version of that image. Great prices. Classic dive bar vibes and attitude. Surprisingly solid food
One of the most legendary dives on planet earth. They care so little about aesthetic that it’s actually amazing and authentic. Outstanding food, cheap beer, a nice slice of old New York.
This seems to be a pretty popular place, I guess because of the location & the drinks. But, its like being in a petri dish full of yet to be discovered germs!! Looks very dirty & unsanitary w/customers old worn BRAS hanging frm the ceilings & their handwritings all over the walls & the bathrooms were DISGUSTING!! I PRAY THAT THEY DONT SERVE FOOD HERE! But they do display an A in the window, makes me think well whats the requirements. Because if those old nasty bras hanging over your head isnt a violation, then what is. Its time to clean up the place, you are already established, get another theme! Theres a much nicer bar right across the street!! Guess you get what you pay for...
Its a great dive bar. Staff is very polite, and you can have cheap and tasty food and beer.
Great spot to grab a beer
Great dive bar in the seaport district of manhattan. Make sure to get the 32 oz beer on the styrofoam cup and if youre tall mind the bras hanging from the ceiling.
Its the best place ever. Great staff, great food. If you want to have a great time with great friends, this is the place to go.
As far back as I can remember, for MANY, many, many, MANNYY years... Jeremys Ale House has been SUCH a HUUUUGE MAIN-STAY of the WHOLE, Seaport/Fish Market experience! ...ALL, TRUE, TRUE visitors.... who GENUINELY know ALL the History & UNDERLYING STORIES... ALL come for Old Jeremys Ale House!!!! Ha-HAAH!! Their location is not the original, however its just down the street from where it used to be.
Fun, lively atmosphere. Excellent staff!!
Good burgers good friendly service, we were the only customers on a cool rainy Sunday afternoon so we ate inside. They are set up with heaters out in a sheltered area.
Great food, cold beer. Cool dive bar to hang out at, awesome atmosphere. Prices are reasonable too. Classic New York dive bar
Not such bad prices, considering the area, but, at least on Thursday night, it was ALL guys watching sports. They have a nice beer selection and the bartender was cool and gave good service.
Buckets 🪣 and Buckets 🪣 of beer 🍺. Great bar food also . The Buffalo shrimps are great .
Great lively place! Fun music! Good food! Great drinks!
The best fish and chips in City. Its done the UK way. Its a very cozy place with a bar and in house dinning or take-out.
Love Jeremys. Large drink ,Small prices . Fun place to enjoy yourself
Great beer and fries. This is the classic that I would always enjoy. Great atmosphere and the staff are doing there best. Thank you.
Ive been going to Jeremys ale House since the 80s. Ive followed them to three different locations. And they are just as awesome now as they have ever been. If you like burgers, I highly recommend the cheeseburger platter. And dont forget to order one of the large beers to go along with it. The selection of draft beers is truly impressive.
A modest yet energetic, neighborhood favorite! Great Beers and deliciously inexpensive eats.
Amazing bar service!!! The food service is AMAZINGGGGGG Genesis and Lennox are AMAZINGGGGGG definitely will give you a good night!!!!!!!
Horrible attitude from bartenders with just a few people drinking beers and ordering appetizers. Cool place but unfortunately unwelcoming staff.
Awesome dive bar with giant $8 beers
Theyll serve you a beer in a soup container at a very reasonable price, great dive to watch a game
Jeremys is always a good bet if youre looking for an experience thats exactly what it says on the label. Dive bar with gigantic drinks for not too much money, and an awesome kitchen
Great and cheap food and beer
Nothing special about this bar but any place where you can get a cold brew deserves at least 3 stars if it taste right.
Great vibe, especially after event at Pier 17. Good drinks. Massive beer cups!
Service is good and gets busy
Pretty good experience. Menu was a little limited. Burger was good but maybe not worth the money. Fries were outstanding
The ambiance was great. Drinks were on point. Bartender was cool. Even the Buffalo wings.
Big ol buckets of drinks, bar food and hanging bras. What more could you want?
Manhattan drink prices, but they make up for it with a choice menu that delivers for a great value. Highly recommend this place.
Such a great place, with unique, very relax atmosphere and quirky decor. Beer is served in plastic jars a size of a small bucket. Super friendly hosts and bartenders. Food is great too. They have WiFi - the password at the counter.
Great place to go to after work. Cheap beer in styrofoam cups, what else could be better. Plus they have Molson on tap.
This is my favorite bar in the world. Cheap beers served in 32oz styrofoam cups and delicious fried bar foods.
For an englishman, literally lost in new york, this was a very nice experience. Will go back next year when i get lost again.
Really cool atmosphere, delicious fish and chips and giant beer glasses!
Loved the vibe. Beer and food are cheap and tasty.
Bar with a character and unique atmosphere. Drinks are little bit pricy and beer still served from foam mugs.
All good... fish & chips and grilled fish sandwich. Beer icy cold.
Great place friendly attentive staff. Awesome atmosphere!
Polite staff and a very relaxed atmosphere. Oh, and the fries are delicious. I liked it here.
Been going there for years. The food is cheap and good. It smell like a can of Beer.
When they said dive bar, they really meant it. But good pours for great prices!
If you are looking for a dive bar, this is it! Beer in disposable cups, greasy fries, loud patrons, nasty old tables. Sounds like paradise, eh?
Great location and fun bar. Hand a big bucket of draft beer!
Such a fun place to grab couple beers and snack! Would recommend after walking the Brooklyn Bridge!
You have to do a classic NY dive bar, this is it!
First off let me say this. The prices were awesome when you look through the glass door. Upon entering, I seen a rat run past my foot. No worries I figured this is the streets so it must’ve been coming from somewhere being that water is nearby and everywhere. I have to go on inside and sit down. I went inside the bathroom and went and sit down in the back. I thought I saw something run again and I said maybe this is a rat. So I asked my girlfriend did she see that and she said she didn’t see anything. So I thought it was just my mind playing tricks on me. I proceeded to place my order for the chicken sandwich and fries and ordered two beers. Our beers came out in about 10 minutes which was fine. But it was flat. It tasted like it was just sitting there on top for a while. When the chicken sandwich came out while I’m eating it. I noticed a rat run right past my foot and that’s what did it for me. I called over the manager whose name was Justin not only was he sarcastic he lied. He seem very racist and suggested we go somewhere else if we didn’t like where we was at. That did it. We got up and left and we didn’t even pay the bill. Don’t ever go hair if you are of color. They are racial, especially Justin the manager they need to get rid of him.
Best Fried Calamari Ever and friendly staf!!! Thank you Jeremy!
Parking is terrible. But the chips are the best that Ive ever had.- Chip Guy
Look through any collection of photos of this place and you already know what youre in for. If youre looking for cheap beer served in large quantities and a place that doesnt take itself too seriously, this may be the spot for you.
The history is there. An excellent place to get a drink. The styrofoam cups are classic!
Awesome dive bar with lots of character. Check it out!
Excellent if you like this kind of thing - polystyrene cups, food on paper trays all at low prices and cash only
Racists!!!! forced my poc friends and i to order six drinks in order to get a table. everyone else had a table despite not having drinks but us. we had previously ordered food and we were told by staff to get a table. the second we sat we were told by a different staff member to leave for sitting!! and were told the items we ordered were not enough to get a table despite being told by staff to get a table. the same staff member who told us to leave then said that our purchased food items brought in no money for them and that we had to order drinks to sit. the only good part about this place are the servers!!! who attempted to make it a good experience because they saw and were well aware about the way the other staff members were treating us. also the person who answers these reviews uses their “latino” staff as an excuse to say that they’re not racist or discriminatory towards latinos & people of color, which is a lie! if you’re not white/white passing, you will get treated badly, NOT WORTH IT!!!!!
Stumbled into Jeremys being a tourist. Saw the AM happy hour sign out front. Proceeded to have a great time on a thursday morning. Locals insisted we tried the food and shared.
Great place to hangout
Great beer selection, excellent pub food. Good for sporting events. Steve and Milton are legendary bartenders. Punch is fantastic!!!
32 oz beers in styrofoam cups. Whats not to love!?!?
Update for the owner: shame on me? Shame on you for your response! I visited in October 2021. What I experienced was real and how we were actually treated. Even if the guy wasnt Jeremy, he was still rude. We felt ignored and unwelcomed. The guy actually smirked and pretended he didnt understand my English. We saw other white males getting greeted and served with a smile! But here we were, two Asian females, and were ignored and treated rudely. So dont put this shame on me BS!If you are a female and a female of color, please do yourself a favor and do not come here! We came here early on a weekday afternoon around 3pm and felt we were discriminated against. The guy working inside was extremely rude to us. And looking up the picture of the owner, he is probably the owner, Jeremy, himself. He repeatedly smirked at me and pretended he didnt understand me and asked me the same questions over and over. He made some snide comments when I closed my tab when he asked me where we were going and I said we were going somewhere else in the area.He also tried to overcharge my credit card for an extra order of the Buffalo wings that we didnt order. Funny how he thought we ordered two when he was the one that handed the food to me. And mind you it was not busy on a weekday at 3pm and we left before 4! I sincerely hope it was a mistake and not done on purpose. The wings had nice flavors but was soggy and soft. I like my chicken crispy. And there were tons of fruit flies at their outdoor dining tent! They were flying into our beer! Yuck!Mind you the bras hanging off the ceiling didnt even bother us nor the strong stench. From the minute we walked in, we felt we were not welcomed. The only person that was somewhat friendly was the bartender. I would not return this this place ever.
Food was great, prices reasonable, staff very friendly...will be going back!
Cool old spot. Beers served in tubs.
Look, it aint pretty but the food is great and the beer is a great price
Loved the giant beers and styrofoam cups, but the bathrooms didnt have TP
Great bar food. Friendly staff. Fun atmosphere.
Fun bar to watch sports, drink bar, and eat bar food. A good spot for groups since its spacious
Great happy hour!!!! The best!!! This is a dive but you cant beat the price s.
Fun dive bar with reasonably priced drinks.
We always have a great time at this place and love the beer on tap. They even have hard cider, my fav
Best dive bar and food. Large Styrofoam beers and popular after work crowd.
Dive bar, good food, happy atmosphere. My favorite watering hole.
Ultimate place to sneak a pint while you are working. Where else can you get a beer at 8am?
The best part about a 32oz Styrofoam bucket o beer is that its still cold when you get to the bottom.
Great and expensive lunch. Very good service.
The drinks were good but it wasnt a place that makes you say wow
I from Pakistan Karachi one day I visit here ❤️
Great little find, good food and beer, dont be put off by the look outside!
The bartenders shout and are very load but the food is tasty and cheap
Its a college bar, nuff said...
Chill little spot for either after work or just stopping by. It is one of few dive bars in that area worth going to.
I love the carefree ,easy going atmosphere. Everyone is welcome , and the staff is super friendly. It was very comfortable and fun
Look on the ceiling when you get there and you wont be disappointed
Had a fun night out with friends here. Happy atmosphere, lots of people, tourists and locals alike seemed to have a good time. The drinks were huge and more than reasonably priced.Interesting ceiling decorations inside the bar.
Decent old school kind of place. Cheap beer. Different neighborhood.
32oz styrofoam cups of beer, very friendly spot, can be rowdy. Always a good time.
We always have a fun time.
Best bar since I was in my 20s. Great size beer. Bar food is decent. TV with the variety of sport games is amazing.
Good service last of the dive bars. The wall and ceiling hangings are second to no one!
Been going for 30 years.....am I that old lol. Get the calamari and onion rings....extra marinara and a cold beer.
Fun place for lunch or after work. Food is delicious and inexpensive.
Have a beer and the fried shrimp. Shrimp is always fresh and akways good
Great dive bar by the Seaport. Who sells quarts of beer? Jeremys!! 🤩
The food really fell off, tried the shrimp tacos and was disappointed-no seasoning, it was just shrimp chopped up with lettuce and sprinkle of cheese and sour cream
Great place for pastas and meats and cheeses and a lot of other things.
Low key bar with decent prices on large beers. Plan to return
The original location was cute and kitschy. Current location is pretty much a bar. The draw is the 32 ounce beers and drinks - cant beat that.
DONT COME HERE IF YOU ARENT WHITE, YOULL GET DENIED SERVICE.Denied service because we are closed despite a group of ten or so and an individual arriving after us and ordering beers with their cards. When I pressed further, the person behind the counter pulled the square payment terminals away and despite having seconds ago allowing a group to pay (that arrived a few minutes after).I have never had this happen until today.Edit: We arrived as a group approximately 15-30 minutes before midnight. When we arrived we sat down for 2 or 3 minutes, then I went to the bar counter to order. One of the bartenders looked at me and stated that they were closed. I sat back down for a minute, confused, and saw a female individual that appeared to already have been at the bar order and be served a beer. Within about a minute or so of that, the large group of ten-ish individuals entered the bar and a few of them were served drinks after paying with the square card readers being presented in front of them. After that, I figured Id go back up and see if it was just a mistake. I asked if I could buy a drink, and the same bartender first said were closed, I frustratedly responded saying that he had just (less than 1 minute before) served a group who paid, then he said cash only and grabbed the 3 square card readers and was moving them away.My two issues with that is it was never mentioned that I apparently could, according to that bartender buy a beer if I had cash because they just said were closed the first time, despite someone getting a drink right after, and the second time, unless I didnt see this correctly, and Id gladly retract what I said if Im wrong, but the group that entered after I already had been denied seemed to either pay with a card or were charged with the card readers. All of this happened before midnight and multiple people were served after I asked, who had gone up to the bartender after me. Additionally, nobody in my group was intoxicated. We werent all Latino, either.
Beer and seafood plate are huge. This safe house has been standing!
Always great to come here
A huge cheap beer, this is the place to go. The collection of bra is amazing.
College bar, high energy, cheap drinks...but be warned...cheap liquor.
This is my new fav spot.... Great beer on a cup the size of Manhathan...
Great place to drink cheap beer and get loud!
Good place to drink beer, food... not so much.
Best beer youll ever have out of a Styrofoam cup.
Great place to get away. They have an eye opener breakfast.
Great, tasty food available made me love this place
Great bridge food.Pro tip: if you order a beer you need to tell them you want a 16oz or thier default is a big boy.
Good food. Big beers. Main Street America Pub food prices in NYC.
Last of the OG spots in downtown Manhattan- GO! While you can!
Highly recommended! Good food, beer and more.
Awesome place ,super friendly staff ,great atmosphere
Lively place. Huge drinks. Great drinking spot.
Great staff and the best atmosphere to watch a game. Its a dive.
Beers serve in a huge cup.Good menu too.
No air conditioning. Hot as balls during the summer.
A fun place to go and have a giant beer or two.
It was a COLD day and the Irish Coffee warmed me ... a lovely combo of Jameson and Baileys hit the spot. The tuna sandwich completed a great way to spend the day downtown.
Good bar 👍🏻
One of the few spots that made it through Sandy, pay tribute to a classic nyc dive.
The food is good and the staff are friendly and xaring.
Good dive bar. Not sure how I feel about the styrofoam cups and the bras hanging from the ceiling, but these are certainly distinguishing features for the place, albeit rather kitschy ones. Nevertheless, bartenders/manager was attentive and friendly: somewhat gruff but in an endearing way. The surprise here was the quality of the bar food, which was MUCH better than I expected. Best onion rings I can remember having! Salads in a taco shell, loaded with cheese, meat and/or shrimp.Edited Aug. 2023: No more styrofoam cups and the bras have grown on me...so I changed my review to add a fifth star.
Great place to go to have food and drinks while watching the game.
Jeremys has become my familys household name. The atmosphere is super cool and innovative with Bras hanging from the ceiling in different shapes, colours and sizes. This is a one stop bar where one can congregate, eat, drink, chill and be merry. When I was visiting my family in New York, it would be a standard joke that if I was missing, I would definitely be hanging out at Jeremys.
