The food in this restaurant is AMAZING! The staff is very friendly. Try their chicken parmigiana. Also, the bar tender is unbelievable- he makes really great cocktails. Recommended!
Warm and friendly service, thanks Tan… tried the HH menu for a light bite and it was really good (chicken parm sliders) a good way to sample the kitchen and I’ll be back for the full menu next time.
Great food! The place is pretty cool, with plenty of space. Their prices are acceptable, specially when considering the amount of food they serve! I tried the shrimp nachos and they were amazing, Id totally recommend those! The staff was really friendly and the food was served pretty fast.
Hells Kitchen (neighborhood) is full of casual restaurants like this. The food here is always good, ingredients are fresh and the margaritas are strong. The chips and salsa are free. Waiters are handsome. Lighting for food photos are good. Honestly, I have no complaints.
Absolutely disgusting!! My family and I are tourists from Germany and were so excited to visit Gordon Ramseys restaurant since my mother is a big fan of him. We get seated and we were a party of 6. Me, my mother, my father, my brothers and my brothers boyfriend.Once our server arrived and noticed that my brother was gay and that we are fine with it, she went crazy! She didnt tell us her name, ignored us for over an hour and treated us horribly and rude!! The food was fine beside the fact that our server brought us the wrong food TWICE and didnt apoligize. It was a huge disapointment and not worth our money.
Our first time at Hells Kitchen Foxwoods and we can’t say enough about the staff, especially the manager Johnny and our waitress Alexis. After a small issue with my wife’s meal they both were professional and courteous and went over and above to apologize for the mishap. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
Dishes were made to perfection. Presentation was beautiful and the taste is balanced very well. They even have great vegan options.
My husband visited it last summer during a work trip just because of the name (had no idea what to expect). He loved it and raved how we would have to try it if we ever visited. He loved NY so much that we planned a trip over spring break vacation. Hells Kitchen did not disappoint. We started with salmon ceviche. The portion was generous and full of flavor. I had read reviews about the brussel sprout taco being amazing, so I had to give it a try. Blew my mind it was so good. Hubby ordered the enchiladas and couldnt get over how good the sauce was. It really was above and beyond. Our teenage son said the short rib taco was the best he had ever had. If we are ever in NYC again, we will definitely be back.
This place is amazing! The food is delicious. The pasta was fresh. Dessert was amazing. Tiramisu was my favorite. Power was very polite. Service was outstanding. Atmosphere is very comforting. Would go again
Really cool place! Great ambiance. Came here with a friend for dinner and drinks. She got a regular margarita (it was large! But a little too salty for my taste) and I got the devils nightcap (aka a habanero lychee margarita)-sweet and spicy! We got the nachos and fajitas. The nachos came with like 3 different kinds of cheeses and an added surprise of Brussel sprouts. Really delicious if you like Brussel sprouts!! The fajitas had portobello mushrooms in it, which I had never seen before, along with the usual pepper and onions. Came with a side of rice and beans. All in all, great place. Will definitely come back!
Omg! You can tell a Mexican restaurant by first taste of their chips and salsa, 5 stars. You have to get their margarita trio, 5 stars. I had their trio tacos and my sister had their steak fajitas, 5 stars. We’re from MD and DE and we would come back just to go here, bc 5 stars!
Cool place with nice ambience. There is a sitting area and the bar, the latter is much fub. Bartenders are really helpful and make you feel welcome. Prices are ok
What a great place! Atmosphere is really good and the food is fantastic! We had the Nachos and they were the best Ive had yet ! Highly recommended if you like Mexican food!
Though it still says Mexican food on the Web site it has reopened as a Italian Restaurant and BarThe food was good and the service was outstanding Dan our server made for a good experience
Food is average, steak was overcooked, but the service is ok. I would consider it overpriced for what it is. Also, the menu doesn’t seem to match photos and reviews, maybe it is outdated.
What restaurant doesnt have coffee? The pasta I had was so aldente that I suspect its not made in house.. crunch.
The food was amazing and the service is excellent! I highly recommend.
True Mexican food at a very nice price. Good personell who know their dishes. Ask for recommendations and you’ll have a great experience.
Great Margaritas!! And tacos are very tasty - highly recommend the short rib!!
A little over priced, atmosphere nice, service was great, going through a name change
Its honestly one of the best underrated areas of Manhattan. It feels very neighborly and yet it has all the major transportation hubs right there. Theater district, times square and quite close to Central Park. Love this area !(as well as the best eateries around!)
A bit noisy but overall very nice! Yummy chips and salsa. Lots of options and the food was delicious
Best meal i ever had...was on my sisters wish list to go there so i made her wish come true.
Ive been here twice in the past two weeks, and the food is delicious! First time, I had the grouper and the next time I had the grilled octopus and the chopped salad with shrimp. Everything, including the salsa, is flavorful, but not too salty. The exception is the chips, which are oddly salty, like they poured table salt over the top. The menu items are all unique though, and the wine is very good. Great atmosphere and service too.
Our excellent dinner started when we showed up almost 30 minutes early and they gratefully welcomed us and sat us immediately. Don, the manager, was right there at the door and personally welcomed us. He and the rest of the staff kept right on top of things throughout the restaurant the entire evening. A large bottle of chilled water for the table was a great touch.. Margaritas were very impressive in size and flavor. The guacamole was excellent. We took the trio to sample all three, Yes the tacos are small, but Nachos would have fed two people, and the Chicken Chilaquiles with Salsa Verde was outstanding. All in all it was a perfect meal. Kudos to Don and staff.
The tacos are flavorful and the drinks amazing. The staff is courteous and professional.
My partner were in NYC over the long Labor Day weekend. We stopped here for dinner while in the city before seeing a show that evening. We loved it. The food, service and atmosphere were all quite wonderful. We started with chips and salsa. I enjoyed a most delicious Shrimp Fajitas (5 huge shrimp included) while my partner enjoyed the Pork (slow roasted pork, caramelized onion, and cilantro). The highlight though were the spicy watermelon Margaritas.
Mixed drinks treated as an art, meticulously and beautifully presented. Tacos were incredible. The fantastic staff will make you feel like regulars. And the regulars get handshakes and hugs at the door. Absolutely not to be missed. Take the few extra steps before or after your show and be treated to a fantastic New York experience.
The chicken parmesean was delicious and the nachos were big to fill up 2-3 people which is why I couldnt finish it but the nachos were delicious as well. The alcohol drinks are okay but some tend to have more alcohol than others. Overall it was good experience and I would recommend this place to anybody.
I like this Mexican restaurant. I had the ribs as an appetizer. They were a little spicy with a crunchy glaze. The shrimp was cooked to perfection along with the sweet plantains, and guacamole. The service was excellent. I had a glass of white wine. Everything was very good. Prices are reasonable.
This place was excellent- delicious food and drinks, great ambiance, and good service. We started off with jalapeño margaritas while we waited which was powerful and the right amount of spice. The guacamole was good but could have used a bit more seasoning and spice. However the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I really enjoyed the chips- not too oily or salty. We opted to do a tequila tasting which was a great decision. The three selections were very good and smooth, would have been better if it was chilled but good nonetheless. The chicken burrito was very good- chicken pieces were tender and seasoned well. The tortilla was very soft, and the rice was cooked well. I like spice and their house hot sauce was amazing - completely tied the chicken and rice. Would definitely go back for the drinks and food!
I almost don’t want to write a review and keep this place all to myself. Pizza? Pasta? Tacos? Nachos? I have never ordered anything at this place that was not delicious!! Their margs are fine, strong and mighty, getting you tipsy at one and drunk at two. The service also gets an A++ rating. They are all sooo nice, especially Kert who always makes us feel welcome and right at home!! Love this place and I’m so glad it’s a 5 min walk from home.
I really like this place as a more upscale Mexican option. Not for those who only like taco truck flavors...the chef is more adventurous and likes to experiment. The margaritas are delicious and have (for me) the right amount of booziness. The booths at the new location are cozy and great for dates, though youd want to get a regular table for a group of 4.
The Steak! I loved it. Taste wonderful and we had free dessert as well. Next I am trying the tacos.
Last day of the trip in NY. My wife had a taste for Italian.. I ordered shrimp linguini, and my wife ordered rigatoni. Lets start with the bread that didnt come out until 10 minutes after our food. The air started to blast right when we got our food, leaving us to eat cold pasta (never good). My drink, however, was excellent. We had been looking forward to coming here and was saving it for our last night.. yea could have chosen another place
Great food, drinks get there early to be sitted. Busy on fridays
Love this place! They changed to an Italian restaurant, and they hit it out of the park! Food is amazing, and cocktails are awesome as well. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Can’t recommend enough.
In our 5 days stay in NY, this was by far the best Food weve gotten. It even compares to food we tasted in italy. The atmosphere is quite nice and theres plenty of fresh air and it doesnt get to hot and the Service is out of this world. We waited basically no time for our food or special request. We would go here any time🇨🇭
Great drinks and service
Loved this place! The food was amazing and it wasnt too crowded since we went on a Sunday night. Although we did make a reservation there were a lot of empty tables. I would definitely make a reservation on Friday or Saturday. The food was delicious (fajitas) and although it may not beat the Tex-Mex back home it was a very close second!!
After our reservations at another place were going to be an hour later than promised, we started walking back towards our hotel in hopes of finding a place where 8 of us could eat the Sunday evening before Christmas. I checked in with the host and they were able to accommodate. The place was very dark but filled with tremendous smells. The chips, salsa and guacamole were very nice. The oxaccan old fashioned was good. There was some confusion with my order so I needed to wait 10 mins after everyone else was served to get me chicken enchiladas. They were worth the wait.
This place had an open storefront which was great for watching NYC life go by as you sip drinks, but be careful on a hot day because the rest of the restaurant can be a little warm with the open windows in the front. I ordered a grapefruit margarita and a steak quesadilla. The margarita was good but not great. The quesadilla was awesome. Service was helpful and friendly. They brought out the wrong order for me at first but quickly owned up to the mistake and promptly got my right order out within a few minutes. This was a good alternative to other tourist traps in the area. Good food, good portions, decent prices.
Place busy. . Floor by my table was dirty and slippery.... timing of the food was off... they took beverage and food order at the same time.... then 10 min later the chips and salsa CV came out immediately followed by my main course and finally my beverage..... no room on the table... had to eat the fajita first before it got cold.... steak fajita was ok... nothing to write home about.. veggies raw and meat overcooked, little flavor ... .wont be going back. Better places for Mexican in NYC
Great Mexican! I had the pleasure of eating here 3 times during the past 2 weeks that I spent in NYC. The first night I went solo and enjoyed the chicken mole. The gauc was great too. Staff was nice and efficient all 3 times. Second time was even better. We had the ceviche, grilled octopus and some short rib tacos. The best. Third time was awesome as well. Great drinks and a great value too. I plan to go back next time Im in the city. Thanks!
Shane was an amazing server had great suggestions and super easy on the eyes(definitely a smoke show)The habanero sauce is to die for! Food was excellent , the drinks were great as well!! Service was everything you want when you dine out!! The design concept was perfect for this establishment!! Highly recommend!!!!
Ordered shrimp tacos with margaritas and loved all of it
I went there on Wednesday at around 10pm (right after arriving in NYC). I started with nachos and guacamole and then a Burrito as main. It was delicious! The restaurant/bar has a good atmosphere and the people are very friendly. I recommend!
If you’re looking for a spacious place in Hell’s Kitchen for a larger party this will definitely be my go-to. They even serve pizzas from their sister restaurant Bside and the pastas were delicious. Definitely coming back!!
This place has a MASSIVE cocktail menu! They seem to try seasonal drinks, I had an excellent watermelon margarita here the other night. They have a great happy hour and if you are lucky to be here on a slower night, the vibe is really chill. The menu is a little all over the place but the food is very good.
One of the best Mexican meals Ive ever had!! Seriously awesome! Loved my cheese quesadillas and my husband loved his steak burrito. Salsa and guac were excellent, too!
Walked by many other restaurants on the way from our Hotel. We didnt make reservations, and had a 45 minute wait. It was all worth the wait. My wife is not very adventurous when it comes to food, but our waiter made some great recommendations, and she loved it (who would have thought, crispy brussel sprout taco) . Great atmosphere, and amazing food!
HK serves solid upscale Mexican food. My party ordered the buffalo chicken wings as starter, sea bass/shrimp/steak tacoes, and pork belly for entrees - all were delicious and well-made. I have to stay the complimentary corn bread was very memorable, as much as we enjoyed the rest of our dishes. Ill probably return simply for the corn bread!Service was great. Price is a little high. Overall Id recommend this restaurant.
Tex-Mex is really what this should be called. It was really good but not the best Ive ever had. If youre in New York it is definitely hard to find authentic good Mexican food but this is a really good place to go to get a hearty meal for reasonable price.
Best Mexican food we had in NYC. The ambiance and service were exceptional as well. Definitely try the guacamole trio.
Margaritas were very strong👏
We had heard about Hells Kictchen many times and alway said if we were in NY we had to came here. No dissappointment. They open @ 5:00PM. Not sure why not for lunch also. We started with margaritas, which were excellent. Next had to have the fresh guac. Perfect. For dinner we had the brussel sprout tacos. Excellent. The service was also excellent. This place is not fancy or expensive, just great food & service. Our highlight of our New York trip.
The first time I came here over three years ago, I loved it. The food was great and the frozen margaritas were even better. Today was the first time I came back (partially because I ironically could not remember the name of the place) and the food was still delicious. We ordered the trio guac (sample all three guacs) . Surprisingly, the rojo was my favorite - it was actually the one I wasnt going to consider if we had gone with a single flavor order. The grilled pineapple one was a bit of a let down because it was the traditional guac with a few pieces of grilled pineapple on top.The service wasnt great tonight even though it wasnt very crowded. We got seated immediately without a reservation at 630 on a Monday. The server at first was very timely coming over to ask for our drink order and then app order, but seemed to forget us before we could put in our entree order. The drinks came fairly quickly (thats when we ordered the guac trio), but the it took forever to show up - I finally had to ask a different server to go check on it because we could find our server (shout out to the nice guy who wasnt on server duty that night, but still helped us out). They either forgot to put in our order or something else because after calling over the guy, they delivered an order of the traditional guac and not the trio (wasnt delivered by our server).Once we finally got out food however, I was in food heaven. I ordered the pork burrito and it was awesome. The portion is also huge! They added half an avocado on top, that I dont remember them doing the first time. I had to take half the burrito home because I couldnt finish it all.Drink: frozen mango margarita, passion fruit Marg on the rocks, a beerApps: trio guac samplerEntrees: pork burrito, pork quesadilla, steak burrito.Despite the service, I will come back here - that rojo guac calls to me.
Delish food! We had margaritas (quite strong and sour), octopus, fajitas steak and mahi tacos. All good quality delish! Guacamole with grilled pineapple is dressing. Too bad they don’t have home made dessert
Tasty Mexican. Everything was fresh and delicious, from the chips and slightly smoky salsa to the beautifully charred veggie fajitas. shroomphobes beware: most veggie dishes cant be made without mushrooms... except the nachos with Brussels sprouts??
One of the best places in New York to get Margaritas. Love the frozen version.Amazing Burritos! However, don’t have the beef one, too hard to chew.
One of my favorite places for dinner in the neighborhood. Great food and staff- but be warned the drinks are strong ! 1 margarita is a fun night, two may mean an early drunk end and 3 is probably blackout !
Everything we had tasted excellent. We had 3 different tacos, salmon, and a quesadilla (best ever). Also good spicy margarita and frozen trio.
Nice food. A but pricey and slow service though
Food was AHmazing. Id definitely go again and recommend for a quick fulfilling bite to eat.
Tasty food and decent portions, not too large. Very artistic take on Mexican food. The quesadilla and ceviche are really good. Probably as good of Mexican food as youll find out in NY, and Im from the West Coast
Nice food, staff was very well mannered. We ordered chicken fajita.
This place is exactly what I want from a Mexican restaurant. Its got big delicious margaritas, good chips and salsa, a chill vibe and delicious food. Everything is reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere with reasonable pricing. Food presentation is impressive however the items i tried were under seasoned. Generous pours with their tequila selection which was a welcome surprise.
Great overall. Dont expect ceviche on the traditional way. Taste ketchup y. Loved the quesadillas and fajitas. Drinks are stronf, moderate in price. Will recommend to anyone
I have been a patron of this restaurant for 7 years, ever since moving to the neighborhood. My only complaint has been that you wont take reservations after 8 p.m. Other than that, I have always LOVED your cuisine. After having been away for 5 months I was so eager to return to your restaurant. Tonight I was shocked. We two thought we would give it try to see if there was a table at 8:45 on a Friday night. There never is, but tonight there were quite a few vacant tables when everything else in the neighborhood was jam-packed (was this a warning?). We were given a table immediately. What followed was total disappointment:1) watery (seemingly pre-mixed) margaritas--when you used to have the best in the hood2) your specialty 3 guacamoles was bland (unless you consider salt to be a spice), reminiscent of frozen guacamole from a supermarket. Almost inedible.3) my friend had the grilled tiger shrimp entree, which was not bad--but I have never had a not bad dish at your restaurant--your dishes have always been superb. Not bad is an insult.4) I ordered the sea bass with sweet potato puree. The bass was watery and tasteless; the puree was disgustingly sweet and pasty. The chayote was tough, almost brittle. While the service was still fine, I am not one to make a stink at the table, we decided to simply pay and leave.
A very dark Mexican restaurant. This is one of those restaurants that are so dark that you have to turn on the flashlight on your cellphone to see the food. I ordered a Mezcal cocktail as that is the new trend here in nyc. This one had raspberries and mezcal. I admit that i am not a mezcal fan. It just tastes burnt. Not a good combination. I chose mixed seafood ceviche as my appetizer. Overly sweet but overall fine. The chicken mole enchiladas were fine. A very sweet mole with hints of chocolate.I ordered a classic margarita as well. I was pleasantly shocked to discover how big it was. The chips and salsa here are excellent. The chips thin and long. Perfect for dipping. The salsa is spicey but not too hot. This is my 2nd time here. Im always surprised at how unimpressive the food is.
If you want great Mexican food for a great price you only need 60 bucks for two people that if you dont drink but u only need one margarita from then to start a nice buzzz the sitting there is comfy despite the the face of the entry it looks great in side . try it out im sure u love it
The best Mexican restaurant in Hells Kitchen. Very reasonably priced. Nicer atmosphere and higher quality food than nearby Tex-mex joints. Large margs with freshly puréed fruit. Staff is friendly. Lively atmosphere.
Maybe its good, maybe not. Never got to try the food since we called at 6:20pm to find out if there would be a wait for two people as we were walking towards the restaurant. We were told that there were no tables available but we could order and sit at the bar or we could show up at 7pm when all seating is walk in only (no reservations). Since we were walking to the restaurant at the time it was only five minutes later when we walked past the front of the place. There were only three couples sitting at tables and every other table was empty. So in other words they plan to fill all the other tables in the place from 6:25pm with reservations until 7pm when they switch to walk ins. I find it a little hard to believe that they plan to fill the entire restaurant in 35 minutes.
Great food at good prices with a friendly atmosphere. The nachos at the start were lovely and the portion size is just right. Would come here again and again if I lived in NYC
The food, the vibe, the service, the decor were all amazing!! The chicken burritos and enchilada were both great. Frozen margaritas were tasty!! Definitely recommend this place!!
This place was recommended to me by a friend and I loved it. Great mexican food, good prices and value. The server was extremely friendly and the overall service was excellent. I will be returning again soon!
This is one of my favorite spots! Good food, excellent drinks, and good service. Definitely a great place to come to for happy hour!!! Their sangria and margaritas are killer!!!
The margarita flights are fun and a great way to start dinner. I️ had the chicken quesadilla - basic but they take a different spin on it. Was quite possibly the best quesadilla I’ve ever had.
How southern is a quesadilla? I dont know but I like em here. I also enjoyed the pulled pork sliders. The bread was soft but didnt get soggy. It was filled with slaw and was a nice balance to the tender pulled pork which was covered in sticky sweet bbq sauce. Great place for drinks and small bites. I saw quite a few tables with mac n cheese. Need to go back and try that. Owned by Justin Timberlake.
Guacamole is fresh and flavorful with a nutty flavor. Not just bland purée. He trio of tacos are a good choice, cant go wrong with any choice. Chilaquiles is amazing.
Great Mexican! If full, consider checking out sister restaurant El Centro with basically the same menu, and same quality of the food. I like El Centro better but its only because I go there more often.
Its good! not cheap, often hard to get in (need reservations), inventive dishes done well. but a fine addition to the neighborhood, works quite well for a pre-theater dinner. this is good and we hope it will get better.
Tacos were amazing. Especially the pork belly and shrimp tacos. Bartender made mean cosmos as well. Will definitely be going back.
A great place to get good Mexican food. Always well done, they also serve great cocktails (frozen margaritas are my favorite).
Delicious food, excellent service, perfect ambiance. Cant recommend this place enough! Tip: reserve prior to going as they usually get really busy.
MUST EAT !!! ... I just loooveee this place ....as small its floor area and menu size is the better each recipe is .... every time they come up with some sampler which I always love .... quesadilla tho with only vegetarian ingredients beats a lot of non-veg quesadillas I have had in NYC !! .... love the Tlacoyo too thin crisp and chunky ... Towards the costlier side but worth every penny !!!!
This place has great fajitas with meat of good quality. You should definitely try. The burritos and quesadillas are not super large but definitely of good quality
This is not the place for a quiet dinner as the amazing margaritas will have you in a very jovial mood! Baby Back Ribs and the Grilled Sirloin will make your tummy happy too.
Great experience from the front staff to my waiter kegan he was very knowledgeable of the food drinks and service for our table was very good we made reservations for 530 we were 20 mins late and they held the table we got to see jersey boys on time with having great food and service and it was steps from the theater 5 stars for this place will be going back next time were in the city ty
We’ve eaten here twice now! We don’t live in New York, so to go back, when there are 100’s of places to choose from, says a lot in my book! Service was impeccable, food is amazing!! And I’d go back again and again!!
Amazing broth! got the miso with chicken. very tasty noodles. efficient service and reasonable price. the host and staff are friendly. I recommend it very highly.
Had a great time in this amazing restaurant. The food was great! Staff were very friendly. Atmosphere was amazing. Highly recommend their Tacos. Restaurant located in a great neighborhood in NY! It’s less than 10 min walk to Times Square. Overall we had great time. We will definitely go back and eat in this restaurant.
Too good to be true!I’m definitely going to come againIt’s not overpriced and the service is a 10 out of 10Cooked to perfection!
Had a great selection of tacos. Strongly recommend the shrimp and Mahi Mahi. The Rojo guacamole was tasty, as was the salsa.
Amazing food and place overall. Les was fantastic and was so nice even with a lot of requests. To management, he needs a raise for what he does!! :) Would recommend this place to anyone.
Fast service delicious food. Salsa a 7.5 out of 10. Only reason not 5 stars is the pilsner on tap wasnt cold enough.
Best quesadilla Ive ever had!!! Plus the bartender was fantastic & made killer drinks! A+++++ service & food!
The food was good, but I didn’t eat anything that was absolutely incredible. The chips were really good and the pineapple guacamole was delicious! But nothing to tell your friends about. I’d eat here again, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
We decided on this restaurant after reading positive Yelp reviews and it didnt disappoint us. My friends and I ordered the quesadilla, salad, salmon entree, and trip of tacos. The flights of margaritas were cute but we waited a long time apparently for clean glasses. (The restaurant wasnt even full.🤨) Service was ok not excellent, as the waitress seemed to be extra tired. She was sitting and eating as we left.
Very Romantic Place To Eat & Drink!
Great atmosphere. Amazingly made drinks. Perfectly seasoned n portioned food. Loud but understandably so after 2-3 drinks.
Very bad service. Taking to long to get my order and I got a order that wasnt mine.
This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in NYC and have been here 4-5 times. The food is always tasty and filling. I really come here for the margaritas, they have a good selection of flavors - both frozen and on the rocks. Ever since they’ve combined menus and started serving Hell’s Kitchen’s food out of Rita’s (next door), I feel that the chefs are shy with using spices and the bartenders shy with adding tequila to the margaritas. Overall excellent food, their music playlist slaps, and vibes were immaculate.
Very overpriced for what it is. Below average food. Pizza was burned black on the bottom and crust. Tacos were measly in size. Would not recommend. Theres much better places in the area. Dont waste your time
Lovely Mexican food and tasty mezcal based cocktails in the heart of Hells Kitchen. Cuisine seems authentic enough 👍
This is very good. More Mexican food than Tex Mex. If you can stand spicy, ask for real spicy salsa. 💯
Great chips and salsa and tacos. Very nice atmosphere. Younger crowd.
Food is really tasty so if thats all you care about, great choice. Ambiance and service are eh. Alcoholic drinks were disappointing.
Delicious. I got the chicken tacos and my wife had the steak tacos. We both loved them.
I need to share my experience at this new restaurant what I noticed while you’re waiting with the mail there was no bread served when the meal actually came. There was not enough starch on the plate for the prices that they are charging. OK, good but extremely small portions But tasty not enough tomato sauce, hardly any starch with a roasted chicken or other other entrées barely made a dent in your stomach and you were hungry now or hour.l Hungry later !!!But you at the staff They were friendly! Overall, they need to work on satisfying their customer if they want to continue to survive in that neighborhood A little too frugal on the portions and they need to improve
Food was great. Drinks were great. It is a bit dark in there which might bother some people but I don’t mind.
Decent tasty food but look away if you are looking for true authentic Mexican. The food here is more modern boogie Americanized take on Mexican using some nicer ingredients and splash of sauces. The Quesadilla was a sore point. Tasted a bit mushy and not overly pleasant taste.Overall nice place for NYC, but as someone that lives near Mexico...this is as Mexican as Panda Express is Chinese.
Very Pricey. Drinks were great. Friendly staff. We experimented with the brussel sprouts tacos, such a disappointment, dont try those. Try other tacos on the menu.
The best mexican food ever. Staff is efficient and nice. Great atmosphere! Hell of a good kitchen :-)
Great nachos! They are big so think about sharing them. Nice outdoor seating area due to COVID
Way overpriced food. Good selection of options, but just wasnt worth the price. Also, Hells Kitchen? They really couldnt come up with a more original name?
Excellent chips and guacamole. My steak burrito was awesome! Prices very reasonable, too!
Our favorite Mexican place in HK. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Strong margaritas!!
So I go in at 11pm on Sunday night an its lots of people inside an according to the web site they close at 1am an I have a sit an the bartender stares their closed but yet other people came in. Im not trying to play the race card but thats what it felt seeing that their were no other races in the building.
Seviche was too sweet and three guac appetizer was ok, but fish tacos and burritos were fantastic
The steak and pineapple taco was honestly one of the best tacos I have ever had. Highly recommend.
Amazing experience food was excellent and so was our waiter Keegan. Nice atmosphere thank you Ryan we will be back soon.
Aaaaaah. I hate pickles but I must admit their deep fried pickles rock! And I cant stop eating them. This spot is a good place for group parties too. Mmm pickles!
This tiny restaurant serves up some really interesting, different and delicious mexican inspired fare. however, make sure you have a reservation
Over priced, 1 star because of the situation and views, otherwise another American fast food “restaurant”.
Great ceviche and margaritas, the beer selection could be better but the food was defiantly good
I was very disappointed in the food. I was expecting something to wow my tastebuds and everything was either over peppered or bland. I make better meals at home. Save your money its not worth the prices
Great service and really big courses. Good prices for the amount of food. If you go there you must try the nachos! The place is a little too loud andthe quietest tables are at the back.
Food service as spectacular and the atmosphere was great. Whats not to like
Decent Mexican with good beer on tap. Not all dishes are equally good, but the good ones are tasty. Tried mostly shareable smaller plates, though some arent very small.
Great place for a drink, even better for one of the best mexican cuisine in town !
Great food, service and atmosphere!
Had a great time eating here after the re-opening. However, I am now violently ill with the stomach flu from what was probably bad mussels. Hard to tell as we ate multiple plates. Vomiting all night and morning was not worth it. A friend of mine I was eating with had a similar issue.
A good Mexico food ! Highly recommend the grill octopus , after grill still very juicy , mix with the salad is a perfect match !
Great Mexican food and attentive service. The margaritas are delicious
Good food. Got vegetarian options. Nice ambience. Awesome margaritas.
The food was amazing. However skip the dessert. Their desserts are terrible. Want to go back for the guac and burrito. Sooo gooood+
The carne asada tacos and guac are a must try. Very authentic mexican food.
Manages to be trendy and still have good Mexican food....which is pretty rare in my experience.
Best GUAC TRIO!!! Great happy hour if you’re there in time to grab a bar seat!!
Best quesadilla I have ever had. Nice atmosphere, very attentive servers. My only complaint is that we were not able to get happy hour drink prices unless we were sitting at the bar. Other then that overall a great restaurant.
Very tasty fake Mexican food. Also will give you awful toilet times. Three for three.
Amazing atmosphere, hospitality and food. 100% recommend if youre staying in hells kitchen or visiting.

A bit over rated I think.
Just not short of amazing honestly. Great lunch break !
Highly recommend the happy hour. Cheap margaritas and free chips at the bar.
Very high-end Mexican place. Youll have a nice meal, but youll pay a pretty penny for it.

I went to this place that is named HELLS KITCHEN and apparently live up to that name because I went in then was immediately scared away by Gordan
Food is okay but hardly worth the price
Excellent margaritas, also really love the nachos
Awesome food and drinks. Great service.
Super tasty and the margaritas were on point.
Love, Love, Love this placeEverything from the salsa to the Brussels sprout tacos to the drinks
Great food small place have to have reservations
We thoroughly enjoyed Hell’s Kitchen. The food was great as was the service. We had short rib tacos and Brussels sprout tacos. We also had the empanada appetizer and a classic margarita to start. Everything was delicious. The vibe in the restaurant was great too! We love Mexican food, and we have eaten here on several occasions in recent years, and the food and service are always outstanding. The atmosphere is very friendly, and it is always very crowded. You will need to make reservations well ahead of time. Highly recommended!
Great service, excellent pre-theatre dining spot.
Friendly staff good portion sizes and environment!
Favorite Mexican spot in Hells kitchen. The chilaquiles are💯
I come to this place about once a week, pretty good, have nothing bad to say about it...
Taco trio...Brussel sprout taco, short rib taco. Do NOT get the red snapper taco (great idea bad execution). Clean and comfy. Waiter was as attentive as possible with all of his responsibilities.
I love this place. Happy hour prices can’t be beat. Amazing margaritas and food. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Will come again!
Great atmosphere followed by even better food
Pretty good. Got right in for Saturday dinner, tacos and enchiladas were good. Quick, polite service. Very good margs.
Just went there tonight and got the chicken burrito. This was the best food I have ever had honestly this meal was so good. It came with salad on top and usually I dont eat salad but I was so delicious, and the burrito under it was really the best combination of taste. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting New York or if you live here go to this restaurant my all time favorite and Ive only been there one time. The service was good couldve been better but still a Great place 5/5. LOVED IT!
Came here on a Sunday evening-- would definitely recommend having reservations if you plan on coming during any sort of peak hours. We ordered the flight of margaritas, which were very good! I also had the chicken chilaquiles, which came in a good sized portion and were delicious.
Good food, good service, friendly waitstaff. If I had a complaint, it was too dark for me. I saw other people using their phone flashlight to read the menu, and I could barely see my food. It smelled and tasted wonderful, though.
Food was delicious. They cook their food fresh daily, they import their corn from Mexico to create their tortillas & chips as well as roast fresh tomatoes to create their sauces and dips- amazing. Will be coming back soon
OMG the salsa is amazing! I need the recipe for the smoky goodness! (Please email me the recipe. I live in the Midwest so no threat of competition!) Food was excellent as was the service. Highly recommended.
Great spot for drinks and Mexican infused cuisine.
Very nice vibe and great pineapple guacamole!
