The bucatini allamatriciana were delish though they over cooked the pasta by 2 minutes. Slow service. We waited 15 mins for menus and the house wine was undrinkable. IG: Follow @Sirissima for more food and travel pics.
Came to Feroce late on a Friday night after my flight was delayed and wow did this turn my day around. Great drinks, delicious food, and Devin and Chris were both extremely accommodating and personable. They knew exactly what I wanted!
Nice ambiance, friendly staff great service. We went right before dinner rush hour. Prosciutto and mozzarella was amazing imported from Italy I was told by manager. My dish was nice but a bit salty (octopus pastas dish). Another guest at the table said thier dish was a bit too salty as well. They have a nice rooftop lounge nice views of empire state building. Dessert was nice (some almond orange cake). Prices are is mid to high.
Came for dinner on a Friday evening. They strive for authenticity with respect to their Italian food servings. I felt they hit the mark. All dishes were delicious. Above that the area didn’t feel too cramped, and the service was incredible. Alyssa our server truly went above and beyond to describe practically each dish on the menu, and undoubtedly took pride in her service. I had a great dinner, and loved that there was a bar in the front to get drinks both before the reservation and after. Because this spot is new, everyone is trying extra hard to please guests here. Now’s the time to go!
Pastries were very good but we ordered 3 lattes, one of which was supposed to be hot but was made iced, one that was made half full and didn’t have enough vanilla syrup because they ran out, and one that was pretty good. Wait staff and hostess were very nice. Barista seemed bored. It took a good 10 min to order, though no one was in line in front of us. Cool ambience, though.
We sat at the bar and had a fabulous dinner. The bartenders were very knowledgeable, attentive, and had great personalities. Cheese and meat plate to start. Lobster tortellini and squid ink pasta with crab were all delicious! Love the coffee bar as well.
Unique, little fancy authentic Italian restaurant.Great food but the service wasn’t the best. We waited almost ten minutes to get menus and order a beverage. They offer a bread service. The olive bread was AMAZING! And the dressing on the salad a sherry vinaigrette was the best dressing I’ve ever had! The entrees were both very delicious as well. The place was pretty busy but everything took long and especially to put our order in.
Although a nice ambiance and a nice location to spend the new year, our evening was abruptly ending by my partner falling ill from food poisoning. We started out the evening with a nice bottle of champagne recommended by their sommelier and then the four course prix fixe menu to follow. It was New Year’s Eve and a bit unorganized. The food also very mediocre considering the inflated price for the holiday. When we went home after dinner my partner ran to the bathroom and was sick with nausea, extreme vomiting, cramps and the chills which continued into the next day. His meal was seafood heavy and I’m guessing it was not handled properly. A very unfortunate end to our evening.... the champagne was nice tho :/
Voto: diesci! (oops, wrong show). But really, outstanding. Loved the eco-friendly pasta straw.
Great ambiance, great service, good food. Sunday brunch was very good with live music (a little loud).
A great time at Feroce last night. Craig and our Sommelier took excellent care of us with food and wine. The eggplant appetizer and veal chop were hits. They were only open a week, but seemed like a wonderfully organized and experienced restaurant. Looking forward to going back soon.
Cutest lil caffe ever. the ambiance is unmatchable. cappuccino I had was AMAZING, however, the croissant was a little stale.
I left a FIVE star review of Feroce’s Caffè several days ago and decided it was so good that I wanted to try their dining experience. Here we are with another FIVE stars. Authentic. Fresh. Organic. Technique. Presentation. Complexity of Flavor. Service. Atmosphere. From the management, to the kitchen, to the front of house this restaurant has it’s act together.
Enjoyed everything about our experience dining at this place. Food was amazing, service outstanding, romantic atmosphere with upscale design. Side dishes are almost a size of the regular dish. Everything made from the scratch and super fresh.
Giving it a generous 3 stars only because the bartender was a gentleman and was making good cocktails. Went for a few birthday drinks ordered a Stoli Elite martini which I realize is top shelf ! But to charge (((( $32 !!!!!!! ))))) For one martini was like I got robbed! To say their drinks are overpriced would be polite, their drink prices are grossly cruel hence why they named the place FEROCE !
Service was great and it’s a very nice atmosphere, but the food was way overpriced. My friend’s pasta tasted like it was just covered in tomato paste; she said it tasted like Ragu. My beef ravioli was very small and tasted like something you’d get in a TV dinner.
Came in for dinner and the dish that stood out to me the most was RAVIOLI DI GUANCIA, because the pasta was al dente, the sauce was delicious and the filling was so tasty, will definitely go back just to eat that. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable of the dishes, the place is very elegant perfect for a date.
The services was exceptional and the food was delicious. In addition, I also liked the ambiance. My sushi roll was 34 dollars which I thought was a little expensive. It was delicious though.
I stay at the Moxy Chelsea Hotel when I travel to New York for work because of Feroce Restaurant.A lively, trendy yet intimate dining destination fusing Italian traditions with contemporary refinements, Feroce (from legendary chef and entrepreneur Francesco Panella) never disappoints. Great food, authentic ingredients, impressive wine list.A big shout out to the manager Ettore, and the sommelier Aygul who do an amazing job, every time. I
I had a late reservation, my server seemed tired or bored.. he brought the food 5 minutes after we made the order... I was expecting fresh made Italian tasty food..
Perfect fries and awesome steak, and the dirty monkey was the best drink I had tonight
Enjoyed some coffee this past weekend and was provided excellent service by Lydia! She was very pleasant and upbeat. I tried the crossaint with pros and mozz with a cappuccino. DELICIOUS!
The food was alright, coffee was great !
Food is delicious, creative and service is great. Ambience is nice but some areas had the music on way too loud, so loud that we had to raise our voices way too much.
My girlfriend and I had heard about this place from friends and decided to stop by for lunch. A couple of great cocktails and pizzas later and were ready to come back for dinner next week. Great food, ambience, and service. Highly recommend!
Very nice brunch spot. Tasty avocado toast with poached egg. Reasonable prices. Great environment with subtle air scent permeating atmosphere.
The bar was pretty empty but had a very nice interior design.
My girlfriends and I stumbled onto this gem in Chelsea this past Sunday. Please go for Sunday Brunch and get an Italian Bloody Mary (or 3). The olive bread and the frittata with tagliatelle pasta were over the top. The jazz band was pure talent. The manager Manuel was so kind and accommodating. The service and staff - perfect (especially the gentleman pictured.) Just go!
A dining experience that rates higher than 5 stars. The service was great and Michael our waiter was an experience in to behold!!
Just saw the bit on Fox5 with Roseanne. Mama Mia I want that steak! And the gentleman she interviewed I believe is the owner is a cutey.
Great atmosphere and a wonderful staff. One of the best Bolognaise dishes Ive ever eaten.
One of the best overall dining experiences that I have had. The service was excellent, fast, and entertaining!
Pizza and apps really good, nice view
Amazing restaurant, from the service to the ambiance and of course the food- looking forward to the next visit!
Easily the best Italian restaurant in Manhattan if youre looking for an authentic Italian experience with incredible food.
Very bad, a fake Italian restaurant. Cheap food, bad service not to mention the sad atmosphere
Participated in a private event. The food was good, but what really distinguished the place is service. The staff is incredibly attentive to all the guests and we were able to get through a multiple course dinner in a reasonable time period. The private room is well decorated and appropriate for a nice client event.
Great food Great atmosphere. We will be back
Excellent food and service, but overpriced. Spacious with ambiance. Closed from covid.
Delicious Avocado Toast. Slow service, staff not friendly or helpful!
Had a daily vanilla latte from this place for a week - delicious every day! Cakes were also smashing (chocolate cake at 8am? Sign me up!). Pastries were average. But the biggest star of this review goes to the bar woman who calmly and gracefully dealt with a drunken, verbally abusive man who refused to pay for his group’s shots. Never got her name but my lady, you are amazing.
They make a really good old fashion drink
Light and delicious Italian cuisine ...discrete and charming service...
This place is becoming one of my favorite Chelsea locations. The food is delicious and the service is good. There are still a few kinks they need to work through during lunch service and the menu changes felt a little too often for me.In some of my recent visits I’ve had the roasted chicken, Fish, pastas, & A few appetizers. Everything is deliciousTip: Be prepared to spend though, given that it’s in a hotel lobby and New York but prices seem a bit higher than what I’m used to.I really do enjoy this place and I am really happy it is in the neighborhood.
I had an incredible experience with my husband and another couple at Feroce. The decor and atmosphere is homey, fun, and fresh, and the coffee is absolutely incredible. We tried the avocado toast and toast with prosciutto and scrambled eggs, and they both were incredible. The service was friendly and impeccable, and even though there are hundreds of great breakfasts in NYC, we ate here 2 days in a row because it was so delicious! A must-try!
Same owner as Antica Pesa in Brooklyn/Rome. Amazing food and great atmosphere.
They change their hours nightly and are a bit rude. Not worth it.
Newly opened and great pasta and knowledgeable staff
While I had enjoyed a prior very good meal at Feroce, I was disappointed by the recent trip there, when I took 5 people to dinner. The service started strong at the beginning of our meal, but faded quickly as the restaurant filled up (to the point where we were waving for assistance). The food was unexceptional. The salads were over-dressed, the pastas were bland and the meat entrees were either under spiced or over-cooked. The sommelier did make a strong recommendation, which we enjoyed. I like the ambiance, but feel like the restaurant is fading quickly after a solid start. For the price, I wont be returning.
Amazing music on Saturday, excellent cocktails and excellent atmosphere
This place is absolutely AMAZING. Went for dinner with a group of friends, had the Burrata which I HIGHLY recommend, fried gnocchi, squid ink pasta and the tortellini and everything was so delicious and incredible. Nothing was a disappointment and the presentation and service was incredible. I cant wait to make this my new regular go to.
Great place to eat breakfast! We had a great meal here while we stayed at the Moxy Chelsea. Wait staff was wonderful and the food was excellent! Reasonably priced and literally down the elevator from our room!
The food is meh. I ordered the steak frites medium and received it well done. The salsa verde that was supposed to come with the steak was also just green garnish. The paccero al pomodoro was nothing special. I wouldn’t waste my time or money eating here.
Absolutely spectacular restaurant and an impeccable dining experience! A truly authentic Italian experience in NYC. Visited for a lunch meeting and ordered the prixe fixe menu for $29 (a total deal for what you get)! Look at my photos to salivate...
This place is a nice place to do date night. Very romantic and hip. Their pizza was delicious n imported ingredients made the pie.
One of the nicest restaurants I have been to in awhile. Superb food and excellent service. Robust wine menu as well.
I just had dinner at the new Feroce restaurant with my family - a spectacular Italian meal. The Veal was massive, high quality and perfectly cooked, we all shared that. Pasta was al dente with a real homemade taste. I started with a nice octopus dish and my family were happy with their first courses as well. Everything put in front of us was good -even the bread. It’s hard to standout in NYC serving Italian food but Feroce does, we’ll definitely be back. Even small things were outstanding, for example we asked for hot sauce and they came with three different fresh hot peppers which were sliced in front of us! Service was excellent and the table was comfortable and spacious. This restaurant is wonderfully designed, also a great place to people watch. I would happily host a dinner party here as they have some kind of back room which seemed perfect for that.
Just had coffee and buns. Service was only ok. While the buns looked great their taste didn’t hold up.
Best Italian restaurant in the city. Fresh ingredients and such a beautiful atmosphere !
We were staying at the Moxy and were very excited to try this place. We just went for coffee and a snack to go and the people were very rude. I’m pretty easy going but I could tell the cashier was annoyed about my request for their milk alternatives because I’m lactose intolerant. Then it took 15 minutes to get my latte when no one else was before us or even after us. Maybe their dinner service is better.
Beautiful open spot for a cocktail. The open doors at the beginning and the classiness of the venue make it an amazing business, date, or hangout spot. The staff serve the tables and come around often, offering even sparkling water with a lime.Cocktails are well made and alcohol volume is fair.
Good food and service. Not my most memorable dinner though. I feel like the menu was missing that wow item.
Just so amazing. Great authentic Italian food and the service is impeccable. The prices are average but very good value. Love this place.
I loved the way the place looked and the staff were great. There was 4 of us and we all just drank and shared the dip. Huge fan.
My wife and I were in town for our honeymoon June 8th – 15th and stopped in here several times.I can only comment on the chocolate cake because this place was only a few doors down from our hotel and we would stop for cake and glasses of milk after a long day of exploring the city.Such friendly service and the cake is absolutely delicious!! Kudos to the staff for doing basically a custom order of glasses of milk!!
Funky atmosphere but food was not what I expected. For price paid, it should have been better.
Great food, great service. Atmosphere great. Get there early. The bartender knows what hes doing!
Fantastic restaurant. Does not disappoint.
Supposed to offer breakfast for the hotel above, took over an hour, 45 mins just to get a drink, none of the breakfast menu was available, could only have something from the takeaway options up front. Poor service, confusing, other guests stormed out fairly dramatically, but we stupidly stuck it out. 40 bucks for mediocre coffee, some fruit and a nature valley bar broken up in yogurt - dirty cups. I’m sure takeaway is okay if you like their coffee, but do not sit in.
Great addition to the neighborhood! Staff was extremely helpful.
Amazing interior and atmosphere. Great service and food!
While a traditional outlook on Italian (pass Nonnas pasta, skip the chicken parm), the flavorful menu fed me exactly what wanted. I had the squid ink fettuccine with crab meat and had the delightful experience of diving into an al dente Mediterranean experience. The only thing I would take into consideration here is service seems a little... rigid? Like as if it was a new team of staff.
Stumbled into this place for a late lunch. Excellent food and service!
Excellent during the week, and awful this sundayLot of people left because of disaster with the service, no way to get a simple tea in less than one hour. The person doing the cleanup were obliged to participate and make teas, give foods, and recommand customer to left because there was a huge issue with the restaurant hits day.Its a pity because we went there several time in the week, but on sunday, the team was not at all the same, and not at all available for customers, from the order to the cooking nothing worked, and we waited one hour
Waited 45 minutes past our reservation for a table. 3 pieces of cheese on the shared meat&cheese plate, the steak came out before pasta, and the sommelier made a mistake that we paid for.. awful meal. Go elsewhere
A new restaurant for my friend and I to host our mid-week supper. A very handsome and well appointed space with 3 distinct areas. The bar area, main dining room, and a garden area. Excellent lighting, very professional and personable staff. We were 30 minutes late arriving. Not an issue, and eventhough the place was packed with patrons, we were told that a table was reserved for us in the patio area. Not to be disappointed. The patio is a beautiful linear space with a black & white upholstered banquette running the length of the narrow space. My guess - maybe 125 feet in length, tables and chairs facing in. Delicate faux greenery running up the back wall. Do ask for the patio for reservations - Very European feel to this space.Sadly, my friend took ill and asked to go home. The maitred was beyond helpful tending to my friend. We were yet to be served. The manager came to our table to offer his assistance. I asked that our order be packed up to take with us. No issues and every aspect of our odd experience at Feroce was beyond expectations. The food, eaten at my friends table once we got settled, was perfectlly wonderful. Fresh, flavorful, and well presented (even in take home containers).Certainly will dine again @ Feroce. A big thank you and a tip of my hat to the manager, maitred, and waitstaff. Superb manners all around!
Frustrating staff. The Barista seemed to be the only one awake. The hostess with the tighty whitey T-shirt couldnt be bothered to lift a finger to clear dirty place setting or take our cash. Good food and coffee but dont expect service.
Modern Italian style restaurant with good food. Dont forget to visit La Fleur Room with great views of Manhattan.
Good food though its quite difficult to find a wine below 100 bucks
Feroce has an interesting menu with some italian regional dishes very difficult to find in the USA like the Gnocco Fritto, a specialty from Piacenza in Emilia Romagna. Food preparation is very good. Prices are mostly moderate. I would go back. They have an interesting sort of dehors in the back of the restaurant, go and sit there if you have a choice.
Very expesivevfor lamb, no telling what cut of meat, very fatty
One of the best Italian restaurants in the city!
Squid ink pasta is soooo good!
AVOID! We just had lunch there, we ordered 5 different courses and the food was really bad! it was also so salty and service was not great. We rather not have lunch than eat there again.
Wonderful service excellent drinks.
Beautiful setting with incredible Roman pizza
Francesco number 1 in NYall is fantastic in Feroce
Good food but every aspect of the service was so painfully slow, I couldn’t return.
A nice and comfy upscale bar.
Stale croissant. Horrible latte.
Love this spot lots of goodies
Pricey
Decent coffee
Great service
FANTASTIC-
Good Italian restaurant set in the typical Midtown atmosphere.Typical dishes and good quality raw materials. Service in line with standards: speed and kindness. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing.A recommended restaurant for lunch/dinner with friends or for work.Average price for Manhattan.
Beautiful experience, excellent food, beautiful location with a small outdoor area. Good quality/price ratio. Professional staff.
This place is excellent, the service is great, I recommend it, the food is the best👍
PERFECT ! there are no other words... the food, the service, the environment... a unique place!
Pleasant place, pleasant atmosphere, tasty food. Welcoming and helpful staff. Its worth coming
Absolutely worth trying!!The excellent quality of the food, the variety of the menu, the welcome and the professional service make you feel pampered. A stop at this restaurant is a must if you are in New York, as the relationship between quality and price paid is also fair.It is in a truly ITALIAN restaurant, but not touristy. highly recommended
Excellent dishes - rigorously made with the best Italian raw materials - in a truly fantastic atmosphere. Suitable for business dinners, parties but also for a dinner with a high level of romance. Staff of the highest level: applause to the exceptional Manuel who was able to welcome us in the best way.
Pure Italian with a pinch of New York in the choice of some details. But you can feel the quality, the staff is friendly and if you ask for a coffee its espresso without having to specify it... and I said it all! Advised
Informal and elegant at the same time..with Francesco Panella .The Best
On a pleasure trip to NY with friends for three days we tried to book a table without anyone answering, the answering machine said to send an email to book, done but no response...unfortunately no more than one star.
All delicious, excellent service! It was just too cold
First of all, we were lucky enough to meet Panella, a very nice and friendly guy who loves to entertain his customers. Delicious pizza, recommended if you go to the restaurant; excellent value for money.
A fantastic place with an international Francesco Panella🔝🆒️😉🥁
I recommend changing the times on opentable since despite a reservation it is not possible to eat after 10pm.
Good coffee and cappuccino, excellent pastries, very friendly, average costs for the place
....excellent cuisine and notable helpfulness and courtesy of the staff
Very nice restaurant, beautiful environment, excellent food
Expensive but great restaurant. Quality food.
Good coffee
Excellent Italian cuisine in NY
