Calm place. Many seating available.Had hot chocolate. Mild chocolate flavour. Semi sweet. Maybe not the best menu item they offer.
Was staying at the hotel this is located in, but what a treat to wander into, this place has hidden gem written all over it. - excellent little setup, serving patrons of the hotel for free so having that built in clientele. - great, motivated staff in an excellently manicured and decorated venue - cant ask for more from a coffee joint.Oh yeah, I guess you can - and the coffee really is excellently prepared. Worth taking the time to really savour, with great options for breakfast available, as well as some treats from a local bakery. If I were a local, this would certainly be in contention for my spot and it doesnt seem busy enough to have won too many over quite yet .... Did I stumble on a sleeper?
Nice and slow on a Saturday afternoon with great coffee. Food looked pretty good but didn’t give any because it seemed pretty under staffed.
Hands down one of my new favorite places in the city. Tried the almond croissant the first time I visited then an egg and bacon sandwich with an aioli sauce the second visit. The food and service was great! The ambience is nice with a very regal aesthetic minus any pretentiousness..which is more my speed. I will be back again and again!
I came with a lot of expectations. The food was good, dont get me wrong - despite $30 for avocado on toast and a coffee are not a cheap deal - and I loved the flavour. However, the paper cup for the coffee and the serving of the avocado on toast with paper on a wooden tray instead of a plate makes eating egg and cut avocado not very simple and not worth the experience and the price. That said, it is an easy fix, so I hope they will think about it
Very pretty, quaint coffee shop located within a hotel. The coffee was good. They had a good selection of food which I didn’t try. Staff didn’t appear warm or hospitable - just clinically polite service. Didn’t make you feel you wanted to come back.
Delicious, fresh kale & chicken salad delivered as room service in Hotel Hugo.Perfect portion of dressing, lightly flavouring the kale rather than submerging it. Chicken grilled to order and still warm when it arrived.Top job and exactly what I needed after a long flight.
Amazing coffee ! If you walked a lot in the streets of Tribeca, Soho and need to rest a bit with exhilarating coffee, this is your stop
The living wall in the back is great.
This is a gem in NYC and is probably one of the best coffees you could get until 10p. This location inside the hotel makes it unique and the only bad thing is that they dont sell their beans here and that aint even bad. This is definitely one of the best coffee shops in NYC.
Thank you and happy Valentine’s Day to the very kind barista who comped a hot chocolate for me after my first one spilled! kept me from literally crying over spilled (oat) milk.
The avo toast is one of the best toast Ive tried in NYC! The Matcha tasted like milk...
We went to grab breakfast and coffee and the service was terrible. The barista was rude and our coffee took forever to come out. They got both my husband and my food orders incorrect, bringing me a totally different menu item than what I ordered. Dirty Chai is bitter and tastes like black licorice. Disappointed, especially for being $50.
Came here around 2pm on a Sunday and there were plenty of open tables. We got the avocado toast with smoked salmon and it was delicious! I also recommend the almond croissant. Overall I liked the vibe of this place - it’s perfect for working or for catching up with friends
I waited 25 mins (no one is here) and paid $25 for this.
Super cute coffee shop. Brought home some espresso, didn’t disappoint!
Excellent presentation and quality of coffee-based drinks and dishes. Red fruits bagel was astonishing. Very friendly attention. We went on a Saturday around 4:30 p.m. and the cafe was empty which lowered its atmosphere score.
There are multiple locations but this one has gorgeous seating! Located inside hotel Hugo, the space is designed well and offers both indoor or outdoor seating. It was pretty quiet around Saturday late afternoon. No line and only a couple people seated. I went with an iced vanilla latte which was good. The menu is pretty simple. They have the typical espresso and coffee drinks available. Overall good coffee and for us, a great place to take a quick break and relax for a bit.
I had no idea this place was here. Glad I found it. The “banana bread” was one of the better breakfast items I have had. It was banana’s with a nut butter on sourdough. A sprinkle of honey put it over the top. The yogurt parfait was also a close 2nd. It is a classy place and I would for sure come back. Plenty of seating as well.
Great vibe. I had their mocha, and it was nice. My favorite thing about this place was probably their indoor room with the rooftop sunlight. Its a very cute spot. I didnt try any of their food, just their coffee.
This place is beautiful!!! Worth a visit just to see it. The service is great. I ordered an iced coffee with their house made nut milk. The coffee is a bit bitter, but good enough. I’ll definitely try something else, next time.
A little upset. I love this chain of cafes, but at this location it loses. No service, bad cappuccino, and so-so food. To pity.
Nice avo on toast and coffee, free wifi and a pleasant vibe to work in.
We were thrilled to find this place near our hotel on a visit to nyc since we had to give up our apartment earlier this year.Everything they serve is amazing! A little pricey but well worth it
BitterKind of heavy so definitely not light. But great.
Service is god awful. One barista is making drinks. The other is just running back and forth while theres a line. Drip coffee was 3 hours old. Walked out after 15 minutes without being helped. Wasnt even busy
Great place to work, free hotel Wifi and not too crowded on a Wednesday afternoon. Lovely decor.
Very pretty atmosphere and quiet, great chai lattes
They definitely have a very talented and incredibly professional chef. The food was prepared amazingly. Of course, the atmosphere and interior are good too, but the food really impressed me.
Really cool vibe, will be stopping by here during work more often! Got an iced latte and entered an extensive battle with the lid but that is entirely user error
Great food, friendly staff, delicious drinks!
Beautiful coffee shop inside the hotel. I ordered the full breakfast, coffee and orange juice. It was really good.
A wonderful experience at this hidden gem! Our coffee (latte) and breakfast were both delicious and the beautiful decor made this place a must-go for our next trips.
I liked this place, the atmosphere is relaxed and the food is pretty good. My only notes are - where are the outlets? If I come to a coffee shop, I want to be on my computer or phone and enjoy a coffee. In addition to that, the avocado toastie was so tasty but honestly made my stomach churn for the next couple hours so while delicious, not sure I’d order it again.
Amazing coffee shop, definitely recommend!☕️
Breakfast sandwich was decent. Was a bit contemporary with a sauce of some sort and a bun
One of the Worst lattes I have had in NYC. Nice ambiance but I don’t think I’d go back
Great food, great coffee, great spot to get work done, but most importantly, the staff is SUPERB-- I am a regular here because of the wonderful service from Victor, Xavier, Gustavo, Natalie, and the rest of the team.
It’s beautiful but neither the coffee nor the croissants are good.
The aesthetic here is beautiful. Plenty of seating and larger than any of the coffee shops I’ve been to in NY. The coffee was okay, but the atmosphere makes up for it.
Very cool cafe. I already visited other branch that also cool.Just barista were very rude at this location. I was surprised that it was like this in such a cool place.
Good work spot, lots of seating, super clean and classy vibes!!
Best breakfast!!
I visited on a Monday at noon. There’s lots of seating and even a little garden in the back. I got a chai latte, not the best chai latte I’ve ever had. They don’t have WiFi? But you can use hotel Hugo’s WiFi. Great spot to get work done.
More than correct coffee, I’ll get the americano there any single day without thinking about it :)
Beyond amazing coffee and pastry (I stop in weekly for there signature espresso) I had a great dinner in this intimate cafe. The manager Victor was super attentive and the atmosphere was so pleasant. We went in for their happy hour drink specials and small plates and wound up staying for dinner. Kale and butter lettuce Caesar, pan seared halibut and mushroom risotto. All delicious. What a find!!
Great coffee shop so relaxing.
Good coffee, rude barista
Charging 1.5$ for syrup / milk is crazy bro
Absolutely beautiful café! Tucked away, plenty of seating, beautiful back room with a skylight window. Got a good matcha latte. Great service and nice conversation with the barista. Will def be back!
Fast wifi, nice croissant.
The place to go. Victor was very helpful and so nice. Check the paintings and you will discover some secrets. The food is very good and I highly recommend their Italian wine. Such a nice and cosy place typical New Yorker.
I love Felix Co but the service at this location is terrible. Go to their original one. The service was so bad. Multiple people were walking up to complain and the staff was rude and not at all gracious to customers who’s orders were wrong, lukewarm or simply bad.
Service was very nice and speedy. The real star was the bagel they served me. My LORD that was the best bagel Ive had in a while. Worth the walk, if only for an everything bagel.
Love this coffee place! Not only is the decor so cute but the baristas make it so much better! Blue is such a fun barista, it is like your best friend is taking care of you! Love her style and her whole presence, it makes the whole experience even better! Love her latte art!
This place is like a little gem nestled inside a hotel, even if you arent a guest, this is a place you must come in and enjoy. Everyone needs caffeine to fuel themselves throughout the day, but this place takes everything to another level. It is very well decorated almost decadent, and the food is exquisite. The Whipped Ricotta and Fig Toast was delicious, we added the Prosciutto to it, which made it a little more harrowing to eat, but the salty umami flavor really contrasted well with the fresh, sweet and juicy figs. The Bacon, Egg and Cheese would put anything locally to shame, the bun was soft and pillowy, the scrambled egg had an airy whipped fluffiness and the bacon was nice and crisp. If no one had ever had a BEC before, this is an excellent introduction.Inside, this place is beautiful and in the same vien as other Felix Roasting locations, but brought to another level. If you are a person who loves taking pictures, this place adds another level of reason to come here, though pictures or not, come for the food and coffee.
Great breakfast options, hot chocolate, great service. Love the interior design.
Coffee was bad . :(
Good coffee, amazing interior
