A beautiful, casual but intimate bar/restaurant. Great for those private days when you want to read a book during lunch or bring friends in the evening.Beautiful wine selection, their falafel, French fries, cauliflower pita sandwhich, hummus dishes are tasty.Would recommend.
The signature dishes are inspired by hip Tel Aviv street food. The Scottish Eggs with falafel-coating are the best!Pita falafel with fries, steak frites and ceviche with avocado are all really good.Schnitzel was too dry to our taste.
Great neighborhoody bar, nice food, lovely atmosphere, staff is amazing
Cool spot for some beer and wine. If you’re looking for a full service bar, you’ll need to go somewhere else but they had tasty beers and good food. I got the fish and chips and it was incredibly crispy.
Best falafel in the city. Israeli Scotch Egg is great too
Didnt get to try the food but everything sounds delicious will return to try some of the food. This a cute little spot on east Broadway not far off the F train, I love how small and intimate the place, good beer selection and a ton of records they have to play
Eastwood is my go-to in the neighbourhood. The staff is wonderful. The beverage program is great (beer & wine). Same with the food and menu. The atmosphere is very chill and pretty. Perfect little date spot.
Late sharing this. Really cool spot we went to in the summer. Its a wine bar with vinyl, cozy viby seating, cool staff and solid food.Definitely want to go back soon.It cam be a date spot or a chill time with friends. The minute you walk in you say wow!
The perfect neighborhood watering hole for a cozy pint! Fantastic local craft beer selection and amazing food (brunch/Israeli/plus some classics like fish & chips, salmon & salad, nachos). Friendly service attracts many regulars (including myself). Situated on the corner with outdoor seating for prime people-watching and sun angles. They just celebrated their 10 year anniversary.
Nice spot to enjoy beer, wine and hang out with friends.
These folks are trying to hire people for less than minimum wage as mandated by nyc labor laws. Don’t let them.EDIT: Minimum wage is $15 in NYC and tipping exceptions are different for different for different types of service workers. Restrictions also apply when these workers cannot rely on consistent tipping or spend a portion of their work doing non-tipped services. At any rate, for this establishment, in this location, they absolutely CAN and SHOULD do better by the people keeping them in business. Dont let this shortchanging persist, people.
Excellent all around. Top notch pub food, notably good service, and nice vibes. A hidden gem in the neighborhood. The nachos are my go to
Fish sandwich is solid, have had many times before and even good for delivery. While there is no table side service, they still get the job done, albeit in a somewhat convoluted manner. Drinks are decent, would recommend for a quick meal.
Food lacked salt and much flavor. Space is small and crowded, drinks got knocked over. Service makes up for the other things but still might only return for fries and drinks at the bar.
We went there for dinner and regret it. I ordered the chicken Schnitzel plate. The fries were good but the chicken was thin and very flat and dry. I had to keep dunking it in my ketchup to help it some. Were not going back there and its a shame because its in our neighborhood.
Perfect blend of outdoor and indoor in one space. Not crowded and music is the perfect volume. It was great being able to find a spot that could accommodate 6 of us on the spot, have some food + drinks without fuss.I hear its the perfect date spot with great hh deals.Taking one star off because the food was okay but not all that. Food would never be the thing that would bring me back here, but all of the above.
Good food, nice vibe.
Terrible customer service. Ive been here a few times and the female waitress was excellent, so I was surprised this trip. No, the restaurant cant help if it becomes busy, but the least the staff can do is greet new customers that come in, looking for a place to sit. Spent about 20 mins idling in the doorway without the waiter or bartender saying a thing. No sorry, were currently full or anything of that nature, but instead had the waiter look dead in my face and ignore me and the others. The least you can do is address potential customers accordingly as opposed to ignoring them. Thanks for nothing.
This is my favorite after work place in the LES for a drink and a bite. Delicious falafel sandwich is packed with fries and veggies. Their fish sandwich is fantastic too! Very friendly staff. Comfy vibe.
This place is so wonderful and the staff is so kind definitely a spot to try and enjoy a bite and some wine
Loved the brunch here. Menu options are $14-$16 and come with an orange juice or mimosa. Huevos Flores was amazing. The scotch egg was delicious too but I like my egg yolks a little runnier. Skip the nearby overpacked and overhyped options like Russ and daughters & Clinton St and come here if youre looking for a delicious quite brunch with decent prices and no wait.
Nice interior and food:)If you like fresh orange juice, you should try this restaurant’s Orange juice!!It was nice
Relaxed and down to earth vibe... a bar where you can carry on a conversation without shouting. Decent selection of draft beers from NY. Didnt try the food, but it smells great. Will come back when Im near chinatown/LES.
This is an interesting place. Its a bar that served food or a vinyl emporium that dispenses beer. I like this place. There is no a/c. There are plenty of open windows. I am a fan of the fus6h and chips but it is now sold at market price, whatever that is.
Would come back. Very chill + affordable. The kale salad was fresh and zesty with delicious falafel. Also wine was tasty!
Josh and Ryan are the friendly bartenders that make this neighborhood bar and grill a pleasure. David and I logged many hours there during the last week. Try the fish tacos. Theyre excellent.
Eastwood has a choice selection of draft beers and a serious variety of bottled. If youre looking for wine, check elsewhere, but if you like beer check them out for sure.
Their food is awesome. Fun mix of Mediterranean and Mexican. The ambiance and vibe is super chill and bartender and staff are all friendly.
Great vibe, good drinks, good food. Not too pricey and doesnt get busy and full. Good place to just hang and catch up with friends!
Nice cafe with great vegetarian options. Personal favorite: “the Israeli Scotch Egg”. A hard boiled egg wrapped in falafel, with a side of tahini sauce.
Food was very good. However the menu needs to be updated to reflect what was still available, along with the ingredients i.e., salad, but it is still great place.
This place is decent for lunch. Their menu has a strange variety. Some options are delicious and some are just unappealing. They dont have great variety on their drink menu.
A warm and welcoming place with excellent food, drinks and turntable music!!
Cute local bar with great simple food, friendly staff.. Love it.. My new local. They play records.. Over all good food and good vibe..
Very nice experience. Enjoyed the nachos, chicken sandwich, and veggie scotch egg! Also the orange wine on tap was cool.
Place is cool, food is good but the bartender is so rude and no professional. He got angry as I did give to him tips as the service wasnt good. Never again
Peaceful bar with great vibes and tasty/healthy and affordable food in a hip part of Manhattan. One of my favorite places to meet up with friends.
Stopped in for a bite and a beer before seeing Local show at the Abrons Art Center.I was with my daughter and one of her friends, and we really enjoyed the food a lot.
Love this place!!! Great beers on tap and always something good to eat. Wish I was there right now
Great neighborhood bar.
Great food and beers! Really relaxed and cool bar totally recommend!
Great music, great beer list, a bartender with true panache who is a pleasure to watch work, what more do you need? the aesthetic is perfect and the regulars are delightful. a perfect salve for a night spent gorging on dumplings but go hungry- the food looks/smells great too!
Always a great meal and a fun bar!
Great place to enjoy some food, drinks and lively atmosphere to the soundtrack of vintage vinyl.
Amazing bar! Great service. Friendly environment.
Yummy bites and good beer - great for a chill dinner.
Great neighborhood bar with knowledgable staff with the occasional rude and not very pleasant patron. The French toast is the bomb.
Really love the bar but happy hour needs to be advertised better
Eastwood Bar is a fantastic place to spend an evening. The drinks are great, the atmosphere is fun and the service is excellent. I always have a great time there and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a night out.
Had a fantastic evening here. Great food and beer on tap, the service was brilliant. Highly recommend if you like your bars like they should be - no screens, just people taking and laughing.
I work like a block away and Im limited to my hour lunch. Ive been coming for a year and just love the food.
Good food, good drink, good atmosphere. What more could you ask for?
I this place, the wine, the.vibe, the food. One star off because I always find it too warm and a bit too loud.
Great neighborhood haunt. Pull up at the bar and make some friends. Place for the locals to bring a date.
Fun quiet spot, cool records in the back
Great neighborhood spot, kale salad, and peppermint tea :)
Really good Israeli food, only caviot, they only serve beer, they have a good verity, but only beer. Also good music and friendly service so...
So frickin adorable and just a great vibe. No liquor license but everything else makes up for that.
Great staff. Carl was so pleasant and fun as a server. Food is really good from what I remember. Atmosphere was perfect for a casual dinner with friends
Good beers and great atmosphere. Fish tacos were meh.
Great beer selection, tasty fish and chips.
The perfect bar
BEST BLT EVER
Great food, excellent service. Try the lamb burger.
Best food, lighting, and service in the Lower East Side.
Great neighborhood bar with very decent food
Nicest stuff, great choice of beer, including non alcoholic, amazing music
This is a cool little corner spot in the east village. The chicken schnitzel was freshly pounded and deep fried with sesame seed. It was moist and delicious! The Israeli salad is cool and refreshing. This is a very relaxing spot.
Chill beer and wine bar with good food. Neighborhood crowd.
Love the low-key vibe. Excellent staff, good food and drinks. A great chill spot.
Been coming to Eastwood since 2014. One of my favorite bars in the city. Great food, great music, great drink options, great ambiance, and great vibe. Highly, highly recommend!
Delicious fish and chips, fish tacos, kale salad, and most things on the menu. As well as the friendly relaxed atmosphere. Love the open windows when the weather is lovely. Great place to hang out with friends, or read a book and people watch. Its self-serve, so you have to be brave and walk up to the bar or food window and let them know what you want.
This is a cute neighborhood bar. The staff are always lovely and tend to remember your face even when you dont go too often. Its got a great menu (nachos are delicious to share!). They have really nice wines on tap which are surprisingly good and usually my go-to. There is also a turntable and the bar staff are excellent at curating the music for the perfect vibe.
Wonderful barWonderful restaurantHighly recommend
Eastwood has that cool neighborhood corner bar vibe, perfect for a glass of wine with a friend from around the corner.
Eastwood is the kind of place in New York that makes you feel like youre stepping into another country for a while. Here, its the UK - everything about it feels a bit European, and the vibe is super calm and relaxing, and rather casual. The food was excellent - I had an Israeli Scotch Egg and a side of chips (fries), plus the Gruner Veltliner wine. All were delicious. Id love to come back here!
Great beers. Good, honest service
Excellent drinks made by great bartenders! Always nice music playing 3the turntable. Hello and thank you to Miles.
Hands down my favorite spot to casually hang out with friends after work. The chill ambience makes it super easy to have an actual conversation. The draft beer selection changes every few weeks so you can almost always expect to try something new. The food there is also amazing. Their lamb burger is my absolute favorite!!
Very rudely told that we were not allowed to dine indoors because our 18 month old wasn’t vaccinated. Because she can’t be, and because they can’t be vaccinated at the moment children under 12 are exempt from the vaccine mandate. If you’re that worried about catching COVID your happy to treat a baby like a leper then you probably ought to be wearing a mask while serving customers and handling their food and drink. But then of course a mask would ruin your ‘trendy’ mustache wouldn’t it?Probably best to not visit here if you have kids, or you aren’t a hipster gentrifier.
I love the vibe of this place- its always really chill and everyone is really nice. The food is really good, the music is great- no complaints at all. Ive had so many nights having a ton of fun here
Cozy, casual, nice selection of beers on draught. Bartenders play some good music from their massive library of vinyl records. Great spot for those who enjoy having beer in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.Last time I was there, it was beer & wine only. No liquor, no cocktails.
👍🏻
Good food, great prices!
Fantastic bar with an amazing beer & food menu
Laid back spot with friendly staff and decent drink selections. Food looked good too. Kind of skirts the line between restaurant / cafe / bar, without truly being any of the three.
I Live next-door and I really wanted to like this place and Ive always found this place to be really pretentious.
Food is great, drinks selection even better. Awesome bartenders. Love this place!
A low key yet very pleasantly decorated woody lounge with great hand picked music, beers and highly attentive staff. Wonderful selection of beers -- pleasant local brews that are not overwhelmingly hoppy. Conversation friendly, music at a good volume. There is currently no liquor -- which also means no rowdy loud folk. If rowdy is in your plans this is a great place to start the night and then move to 169 bar down street for the next level of belligerence.
Great beer. Support friendly. I loved hanging out here. Didnt eat but my companions did and really enjoyed the kitchen as well.
A welcoming place with a great beer and vinyl selection and tasty food options. Im vegetarian and the falafel sandwich with fries is excellent. Owners and staff keep things cozy and friendly with no attitude.
Decent drinks and a cool vibe
Loved the seating with the windows open to the streets.
Friendly, attentive staff. Great beer and food
Chill, vinyl spinning dj, terrific, fresh food. Excellent bar selection, decent prices. Can actually have a conversation here. It really is a neighborhood bar.
Excellent food and ambiance. Friendly personal. The best place in the Lower East side.
Amazing bar. European vibes. great for a drink and casual conversation
Great beer, better music.
Open view kitchen concept is cool, until you see the chef in the kitchen eating over the same counters that your food is made on licking up all his fingers. Turned off
Great vibe for a relaxing beer and bite to eat. I love the vinyl situation and the excellent happy hour that goes until 8pm. My go to local spot.
Incredible open bright gentrified nice corner bar setting with quite decent fare, solid brunch and a good thoughtful mix of brews that aren’t too esoteric but still local (function) and fit the space which is also functional.
Eastwood has great food, a nice beer selection and soulful reggae played in the softly in the background. A good addition to the neighborhood and very close to the subway
Excellent quality craft beers on tap. A casual, clean, spot with great people and knowledgeable staff. Great people watching on a low key Saturday afternoon.
Very Nice place. Miles is the first and last guy ive met in newyork. Hes great and offers a great ambiance with his vinyle sound. Food is good. Beers too.
I didnt enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Maybe I chose the wrong selection. My friends food looked amazing and she said she enjoyed her meal. If I ever go back, I will try their French toast.
A good wine and beer spot. Very laid back. They have outdated trivial pursuit cards which can be good for small groups.
Decent food, but not sure if Ill go back again.
Smells like a poorly maintained bathroom every time I visit
Tasty drinks and a chill atmosphere is a draw in the deeps of the lower east side. Low key menu with Mediterranean influence, all at reasonable prices.
Looove that place! Good food, good music, friendly staff. Highly recommand Eastwood for day or night
Great for brunch and drinks. The tomato salad is ridiculously good.
I get a falafel at least once a week.
Amazing food, great music, wonderful service, and extraordinary atmosphere what else could you ask for‽
Great food, Great beer, Great staff and a great spot. Love this hang.
Best hummus on earthWindows run the length on two sides creating a lovely breezeFriendly bar tenders
Nice atmosphere but no liquor and the wine selection is very limited. And its $11 for a small glass.
Hi one star for the owner, another for the cool guy with the woolen hat. This is the place to be and to enjoy an huge range of beers. But beware of the fat grey guy who worked 13th april. He forgot 3x and only by us that it was happy hour. And we are nice guys right? So why did he made us pay the full amount? We even tipped the bloke several times!! This one is a bad name for a great joint. Drop the guy and stay ok.
Good food and chill. One of my favorites in the neighborhood.
Very pleasant surprise. The food was good and the beer was great.
Good food, friendly staff
Super overrated. Food was not great
Great happy hour spot where the food is as much of a draw as the drink
Good for a relaxed dinner, limitedmenu but really good food
Excellent restaurant, friendly staff and good food.
Great staff and good food.
Vinyl. Trivia. Chess. Backgammon. Dice. Cards. Mostly regulars. Mediterranean menu. The NY Times available daily. Sex, hugs and rock and roll. Ceviche can be muy picante. Ask for Andy.
Great Beer and bar food with a snazzy soundtrack.
Relaxed vibe. Good rose. I would return
Small but well curated NY craft beers in an atmosphere unlikely to attract slobbering idiots (no TVs). Their sound system is a stack of vinyl: no iTunes genius here.
My local spot. Comfortable yet sleek.
Ill make this short and sweet. mr fongs has great specialty drinks at $9 a pop. the gin and berry was my favorite.this place has no tv, limited seating and is dark with a nice atmosphere with candles. its located in the boonies of chinatown under the manhattan bridge. there arent any good restaurants nearby for a post-drunk meal. youll have to walk a little to get to the heart of chinatown.thats really all i have to say about this place. good drinks, atmosphere, hidden from the world.
I don’t like this place being in my neighborhood. Eggs, bread, beer and white people does not a lower east place make.
Nice place to stop after a show.
Great fish and chips
Piece of crap place. Rude and not very pleasant.
Great beer, good atmosphere, fun time.
Wonderful food and great cocktails
Great food and drinks.
Great beers, great vinyl
Great people, music on turnable
The chicken soup was amazing!!
Chester Leroys favorite hangout
Its a really nice place
Fantastic beer selection
I Love This Place!!!
Really good food!
An almost perfect neighborhood bar

I was taken back by the décor of the restaurant
Great atmosphere

Didnt like it at all
21st century version of Cheers.
Ok....😘
Cool food & nusic
Friendly staff.
Best place
Love it!!!
Charming place
So pleasantly surprised by this place! Quiet, chill atmosphere and lovely drinks. Great food as well. Good place to come on a date or talk after seeing a movie at the Metrograph.
Delicious food, the place was not the cleanest
A common place among the people of the neighborhood. Good service, food and beer.
The owners who serve are very friendly, she always has a smile, a very particular place with dull walls and hardly any decoration, but you drink your beer in a pleasant atmosphere and you have views outwards and it is very entertaining
Chic place!
