First round of drinks was $14, then second round of the SAME drinks became $20, there’s no prices on the menu and the bartender just charge whatever they want. Not cool, especially we were regulars and we got scammed. We always had a great time here but beware of the prices and ask for the price before you order your drinks.Update: David is so cool. He saw the review and gave us 2 rounds of drinks on the house for the misunderstanding. The bartender that day wasn’t cool, but the owner and other bartenders def made up for it. Still my favorite bar!!! They have white claws now for $5, can’t beat that price.

If you grab a stool, be cool its an amazing crowd! Parlor tricks are encouraged provided you can land the gig.

Arguably if not undoubtedly the greatest dive bar there is in NYC. The entire staff here is phenomenal and always makes sure you have a great time. There’s always a fun crowd so if you’re walking by or just want to have a drink with chill vibes, this is the spot for you!!!

Came pretty late to this bar just down the street from my place. Service was okay, def should be there at 10 that’s peak for sure. I got 2 moscow mules, which jason said was $6 (in the review section below). This was not the case it was 13. to top it off they charged me 26 for the NEXT moscow mule, lowkey could have been a mistake but i’m not gonna be sure till i get my statement 😭😭. I don’t know if i’ll come back but it seems lively and the people seem fun so yall should see how it is yourself.

Never wrote a review before, but this place definitely warrants it. I cant remember the last time I had this good a time at a bar. It is very small and simple, but the hospitality from the staff, owner and patrons was the best Ive seen in a while, not to mention the prices being the best by a long shot. It was our first and last stop on our first night in New York, and if Im ever in the area again, will definitely be back. Do yourself a favor if youre ever in Chinatown and stop on in. Thanks for the great time!

Overall rating: 4.9This place is underrated. Love the low key, chill energy in LES. No frills, which is my middle name. The drinks are STRONG, in the best possible way. I didn’t experience any karaoke, but I think I was there too early in the night. Went around 8 on a Saturday.Definitely want to go again if I’m looking for a nightcap or just a chill place in the area.

If you hate when you always seem to pay extra for all of the frills in the interior decorating when all you want is a fine drink and friendly company, you’ve come to the right place. Brian the barkeep was a class act. He seemed to have been a doctorate in classical bartending. Warm, friendly, funny, and nothing bourgeois! If you come here, don’t bring a big group. You should respect this joint to only bring a couple people here at a time. Leave room for the new friends you’re about to meet!

Ive been going to Davids since they opened. The owner is the most hospitable bar owner there is and makes everyone feel welcome. Jamie the bartender is the sweetest person who ever lived. Hope it stays in the LES forever.

This is such a hidden gem. You cant beat the beer prices. David is great and has an incredible personality. If youre looking for a laid-back bar with cheap beer this is youre pace!!!

This bar is my favorite bar in nyc! They have the best mix cocktails for such a reasonable price! The staff is amazing and so much fun, it feels like family there! But the best part of the bar is the young lady Jamie. She has best service in the entire state of New York and she is an absolute gift.

The Jungle cocktail is really not good. Don’t take it. Seems to be a cacophony of unrelated ingredients. It’s just bad.Also I asked for a receipt and didn’t get it. The bartender said it would arrive by mail. I don’t know how it was supposed to happen and indeed it didn’t happen.The place itself is unkept. The restrooms has a sign to tell you how to fix up the toilet if the handle is stuck. Just fix the toilet and don’t tell me what to do.Other than that people are nice and it looks like a good local neighborhood bar when you’re bored and looking for a drink around the house, but definitely not a 5 star bar.

Eclectic in an earnestly unexpected way (Vietnamese conical hats? Live gaming feed on the TV... polaroids on the wall ..) Good cocktails, decent prices, and a friendly bartender. Low key and relaxing atmosphere.

Brilliant little neighbourhood bar (and I do mean little). Happy hour until 7 is great. $5 beers all night. Sort of place you go to chat with the bartender or other patrons, very laid back and fun!No food offered, so you can bring in your own, we got some dumplings and noodles from Spicy Village next door…lovely combo.Bartender on the night was great, good chat. I think it was Brandon but I’d maybe had a few too many beers to remember precisely. THANK YOU DAVID’S!!
