Went with family with younger kids (place was little “adult” atmosphere) but seated us right away so very friendly staff. All the food we ordered were good. I’m not sure what drink this was but very tasty, one of the best mix drink I have ever had!!! Give it a shot!
Horrible service. This was our third year choosing Croton Reservoir as our destination for Thanksgiving Dinner. In the past we’ve had great food and great service. We expected the same this year. Instead we got unnecessarily rushed service and a waitress that seemed more intent on closing the place down at 6pm than with actually serving us.Our reservation was for 4:30pm. We arrived on time and for some reason were taken downstairs to their event space. We both thought it was odd because the upstairs space was practically empty at the time. But we assumed they must have a ton of reservations and just went with the flow. There were only about 8 people total downstairs, including our party of two. Nevertheless the waitress was completely oblivious to our empty drinks or those of our neighbors. Instead of actually waiting on us her time was spent putting out the candles on every other table, removing their place holders etc. In other words, it felt like she was closing the place down around us.When we had arrived, for instance, the waitress was hanging these large festive lights that looked like giant versions of the lights you’d put on a Christmas tree. Very cute, though she dropped one of them and it nearly landed on another customers head. This is about 4:30, by 6pm she is literally going back up to turn these lights off with the remaining two parties still sitting down here, having drinks etc.If you’ve ever over stayed past closing time at a restaurant this is what it felt like. Everything was removed from the tables. Dozens of candles were put out. Lights are turned off. But this is 6pm in New York City! As she was turning off the Christmas lights above our heads I finally had to ask her if she wanted us to leave? She made up some excuse that she had to do all this stuff. I explained to her that it was very unwelcoming. Again this is only 6pm.We had ordered a third meal to take home with us. At this point there are only two parties in this entire section. They bring my meal to the party sitting next to us. They look confused; I have to tell them I am guessing that’s my meal. As usual it takes the waitress who literally only has two parties of a total of 6 people to finally come back to us so I can point to the bag of food and ask her if it is mine. She doesn’t say anything. She doesn’t apologize for the mix up. She just goes and grabs it and sits it down next to me.She did keep trying to apologize for her rude behavior but it was obviously just to placate us because she never did actually give us any decent service. She claimed the reason they brought us down here initially was because it was so packed upstairs. I corrected her and informed her that it was practically empty upstairs when we were brought down here. The food was decent but not nearly as good as in past years. Each course was rushed out regardless of whether we had finished the current course. My wife was still working on her salad and the main course is just forced on us.It was a very disappointing night for many reasons. The service was awful and nearly non existent. The food was mediocre at best. Most of the evening we sat with empty water and drink glasses.
Early dinner after an enjoyable matinee. Never been to Croton but a place we wanted to try!Host/waiter greeted us upon entering and seated us quickly. Great service and even more wonderful food!! We will be back when we’re in the ‘hood!!!They also have a nice, long bar with plenty of seats. TVs everywhere. Plus, a downstairs bar (it was closed) but I’m pretty sure they use for private gatherings.
We have an enjoyable time whenever we come to this restaurant. They are in a great location near bryant park. The food is always high quality no matter what you order.
Wow. This bar is NYC in a bottle (excuse obvious pun). Great atmosphere, quiet, understated, roomy yet clubby at the same time. Awesome location, great wines, mind blowing whiskey and Bourbon list (try the Boyntons bourbon on the rocks). I like that the music is background rather than in your face and great 80s-to-now playlist (special props for Blue Oyster Cult pirate recording). I like that the food is limited in scope, but well executed, I like the bar staff, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, engaging (thanks Kosovar Lee for the experience). Highly recommended if you like what I’ve described.
Nice place in the craziness of Bryant park! Service here was good. Beer line can use some checking as we had a couple flat lagers in our group...but all in all good place to visit if you’re in the area
I came in with 25 coworkers and we had the pleasure of having Mandi as a server. Mandi is the best would highly recommend this bar.
Food and cocktails not good at all! Good service- this place is very loud and it was not that crowded.
I recently visited Croton Reservoir Tavern in Manhattan with two friends and had a pleasant experience. I appreciated that the place was located on the first floor, making it easily accessible. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, despite TVs displaying sports programs (they were on mute) and quiet background music. The sparsely populated venue allowed us to converse easily without having to raise our voices. The staff were nice, polite, and friendly, contributing to the overall positive experience. The food menu wasn’t extensive, but it was adequate for a bar. The drink menu, on the other hand, was impressively long, featuring pages of various beverages. I particularly liked how the drinks were categorized by country, such as Japan, and separated into types like beer, gin, vodka, etc. Drinks were available both by the glass and by the bottle, which provided flexibility depending on your preference. The sizes of the glasses were standard. The prices were a bit on the high side, but that’s expected in Manhattan. My only gripe was with the high chairs and tables, which were uncomfortable for a shorter person like me. It would be great if they could add a few lower tables and chairs for more inclusivity.Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would recommend Croton as a great spot to gather with friends or colleagues for a drink or a catch-up.
Excellent spot for drinks. Great cocktails & lots of options to choose from. The ambiance was super chill & the staff was very friendly. They also have an outdoor area and it was such a good vibe, especially on a nice spring day(:
Old crowd, music was good but not really loud. Excellent drinks and friendly staff
Looks like a typical cross town bar but has a great atmosphere and exceptionally well prepared food. Not a big menu but the selections provide for a nice lunch or an excellent dinner. Somebody in the kitchen is chef trained, a surprise in what you might think is just a small bar. Huge liquor selection and knowledgeable bartender.
Great food and service. Wait staff was amazing and food was great we had the Mac n cheese and the Pork Carditas. They both were excellent and wait time was great
I came here for a speed dating event on Valentines Day 2024, which was being held in the cellar. I was hungry. Before the event started, I inhaled a Croton Crunch spicy chicken sandwich. It was delicious and filling. My belly was happy. It cost under $30 with gratuity. Service was good and attentive, but the place was almost full so there was a lot of noise. I prefer quieter places, but for extroverts who like to yell, this place is for them.
My daughter and I were having a pre birthday dinner. The place is lovely. We particularly recommend the Brussels sprouts!!! Delicious.
Perfect location. Have a bar downstairs to hang out after office…
Overall nice place. Pleasant staff, chill clean bar. Prices are comparable to NYC bars so nothing unexpected but they do have a wide selection of liquors.Only issue is that they do NOT have many allergy options. They are willing to modify plates to remove allergens but it would be thing like bread off the of a sandwich or sauce off of the chips. Overall a great place to hang after dinner.
Nice Irish pub the food and drinks were amazing
Mandie S. Is seriously the absolute best!!! She made our HH so special and we can’t wait to come back all the time!!! For real. You might get sick of us.
Love this restaurant! I hadnt been here in over 2 years and it was great to be back. My friend and I had lunch here last week - Cobb salads and drinks. Casey our waitress was fabulous! Efficient, engaging and pleasant! Highly recommend if youre in the neighborhood!
It was pleasant, We sat outside although it lightly rained. The staff took about 6 umbrellas and pushed them together to give us shelter for our CLUB T.I.N.G Meet & Greet. Everyone had a great time and would definitely go back.
Had a great time on a Saturday night with my two special ladies. Great vibe and a great service as well.
Had the spicy chicken sandwich, it was yummmmmmy :) also enjoyed happy hour sangria with friends!
Wings were delicious as was the Mac & Cheese. Steak was not quite cooked as requested but ok.
Really enjoyed my meal here. Very comfortable on a cold Manhattan night. Service was prompt and friendly. Kale salad, shrimp dish and fig prosciutto flatbread plus good beer selection. Great find in this part of the city where there are so many mediocre options.
Awesome restaurant. Great service, amazing food and the prices are great compared to other upper scale restaurants.
I am not a big fan of NYC. BUT this restaurant is the BOMB. The food has a unique combination of flavors. The brisket melts in your mouth. Short rib flathead OMG! When visiting NYC check them out they are worth it!!!
Good standard Irish pub. The burger is excellent as is the buffalo chicken wrap. Pretty good beer menu too, but I wouldnt consider this a craft beer spot by any means. Service is fast an attentive. I really like this spot for a quick work lunch.
Best decision made coming here. We walked all around time square but it was too touristy so not too far away near Bryant Park we found this restaurant and the food was incredible! the restaurant has a nice bar but a classy vibe and low lighting. Not crowded and very comfortable. Food was so damn good. Service was great too.
The food is delicious so are the drinks. The waitress was super nice to make sure the soup was vegan. We will be back for sure.
Best Burger I have eaten and the best whiskey sour I have had in a long time. Fiance and I had dinner there last night and suffice to say we are going to be back. Even ordered delivery for tonight! Now I have to test their old fashioned.I am telling yall: go and try this place
We (4 adults 2 older kids) stopped in for some drinks and apps and were literally the only people in the place. Drinks were good, but the waitress had no idea about the selection they offered, which resulted in the wrong drink a few too many times. Not to mention it took half an hour to get the drinks. One member of our party ordered soup and bread but didnt get the bread until he was finished with the soup.
A bar that is likely getting by on its location and wide selection of whisky options. The food was totally fine, but when judged by Manhattan standards, it leaves a lot to be desired. Forgot at least three things in my order.
Great little spot for fantastic drinks and good food. Not chaotic and easy to enjoy the night with your favorite people. Highly recommended. Reasonably priced with great bartenders.
I really like this place. Its usually empty after noon, which is perfect for me as I can go and have a few beers in a relaxed atmosphere while working on the computer.
Great spot for drinks after work. Good happy hour deals and shareables. We had the giant pretzel which was great and several drinks. I was pleasantly surprised with how attentive the service at the bar was, even though it was busy. No complaints!
Food was delicous & reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere, attentive friendly staff. Good drinks. We will definitely dine there again.Unfortunately, I forgot to take pix of food - beautifully plated.
Like any other pub/tavern, Croton is busy, appointed with dark wood furnishings and not exceedingly elaborate. I wouldnt call my few visits there as memorable but they were comfortable. The bar is well stocked and the dining area is cozy. The menu could have more selections but you dont go to a Tavern and expect a huge variety anyway. This place is decent and good for a quick midtown drink or bite after work. Lunch is a good possibility here as well.
Croton Reservoir Tavern is a gem in Midtown Manhattan. I had a delicious burger for lunch: juicy, perfectly cooked, and topped with fresh ingredients. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommended for a great meal!
Open late on a Monday for food ... Entrees and sides ala carte. New drink menu, but fixings for drinks not arriving for 2 more days 🤦🏻♀️. Very chilly inside.
This is a fantastic venue with great ownership. Great place for groups and happy hours. The owner is a dream to work with and the entire staff is friendly and competent. Highly recommend for all event needs!!
We went here for drinks after a work event and shared a few standard bar appetizers. Everything was good. The ambience, the service, the clientele, the food. For a very touristy neighborhood, this had a good enough city vibe that I would go back if I were nearby again.
We had a delicious business lunch at Croton Reservoir Tavern. The service was friendly, professional and attentive. The food was prepared well, fresh and excellent. We will definitely be recommending and visiting again.
I love this place. Been here two times and both times great friendly service. The food is great and also has a good bar crowd that is not onto of you while dining. My new go to place
This is my favorite local bar. If it’s for a sit down dinner, or a drink downstairs during happy hour, service is always on point and the staff is super friendly. The bartenders always hook you up too, super dope.
Great place for lunch, there’s a deal at the bar where you get a sandwich, burger, or salad along with a beer or a glass of wine for $20. Food is tasty and well made. Bar staff is very friendly and attentive. Recommended!
Usually crouded on weekdays and weekends after 4pm. They have small snack menu, such as sliders, nachos, burgers, pizza, etc. to order food or drink you have to go to the bar counter and its takes time. And its too loud there usually pack with poeple. Some time cant get a space to reach without disturbing some ones conversation. They have some space in downstairs too anyway its overall nice place to hangout.
Went to happy hour with friends after work. Food and service were poor. Ordered nachos, but no flavor and needed a fork, which took nearly an hour and a half to get after asking 4 times.
Nice cozy bar to hang out after stressful 8 hours at work. Happy hour, cheap drinks and the best is their burgers and soft pretzels. a perfect place for everyday relaxation to your brain. Friendly bartenders.
The place had amazing food, ambience was fun but dark.
Fantastic, friendly service. Good prices. Polenta fries to die for.
Walked in at 8 without a reservation..Was seated at a hight top..Server was friendly and fast service..Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a garden salad..all good and fresh..A couple of drinks.Kinda loud when we arrived..Recommended..
My husband and I came here for drinks and dinner while visiting NY. We had a wonderful time and the food and atmosphere were terrific! The staff were friendly and helpful. We had such a great time that we returned three more times for drinks and dinner. What a great find! Lots of fun, great food and fantastic people!
Very nice bar and restaurant. Friendly service, very clean bathroom. I had an excellent plate of pita and hummus. There is an outside dining area.
Awesome restaurant. Great service, amazing food and the prices are great compared to other upper scale restaurants. Lunch is booming and dinner is intimate. Im a regular now.
Great midtown bar located near Bryant Park.
Good lunch special at the bar, sandwich or a burger and a beer for $20. Food is tasty and well made. Bar staff is very friendly and attentive. Recommended!
Happened upon this place. Great burger and eclectic menu choices. Good prices as well. Small place, not a lot of seating but worth a short wait.
Wonderful experience at Croton Reservoir Tavern!!! The manager, Keith, and our server made us feel very welcome and the food was Great! Excellent time had by all! Thanks!!
Good after office bar with great service and vibe. Didn’t try the food but was good for quick drinks!
The Quinoa Avocado Salad was amazing. Never have I ever felt ad that I was finishing my salad. It was so good. Great Cocktails too!
Great place for a quick lunch meeting or also for a small company party. They have good fingure food selection. I have been to one of my past company party there and it was very nice Subscribe to my channel on youtube Romas diary
Staff were courteous. Service was reasonable and food was ok.
Nice quiet spot for drinks, music isn’t too loud so you can have a conversation with friends.
It was ok for a Friday, packed, good sangria though. Great place, location & staff...love Croton Tavern....the jalapeño margarita is really good 👍
My family had a great experience here! Its always hard to find a good place in the city and not have to wait forever. We have 2 small kids who also had a good time!!!
We had Buffalo wings, and sliders. I dont know if the sliders were good, I didnt eat any. The buffalo wings were average at best.
Food is alright. Not big portions and not cheap. Happy hour drinks are a good deal though.
Nice service.Quite place for a good lunchtime.I eat a hamburger and Amanda did a shrimp plate. Both plates wonderfull.
Nice service and good drinks, relative for what it is. Also they require a mask if you walk inside to use the bathroom, which is a good sign.
Good bar for after work drinks. Bartender Adam was great, very friendly. Would definitely come back.Bells Two Hearted IPA pictured.
Came here with a client to have a few drinks at the bar. Always plenty of folks. Good that the music isn’t too loud.
Small Tavern upstairs. But, the lower level offers additional space for mingling. The food is delicious (try the CRT Nachos) and comes out quickly.
Food was tasty, but music was rather loud, made it tough to enjoy conversation.
Is my friends birthday we arrive late and got amazing treatment of service quick and drinks came on time and made correctly which in the city you cannot always get every time the manager Sean was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed and kept checking on us periodically would recommend this place to any person thats visiting New York
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. If you want a good, affordable lunch or dinner in Midtown, stop here.
Nice, easy going, laid back vibe. well prepared drinks. obviously geared toward an older crowd. music wasnt so loud to be obnoxious, but also never went later than the 60s. mostly early Motown and other pop tunes of that era. it was early afternoon, so maybe their catalog time travels @ sundown. Their frozen sangria hit the spot. didnt really enjoy their Passion Pit cocktail. Great treating bar bites. pretty nice after work spot.
Good place for a drink in the evening. Prices are ok. Had good talks with the bartender. Havent checked their food, but looks good from what Ive seen.
Smells and looks like a real local bar/pub right in the centre of Manhatten.
Best Friday happy hour spot. In the basement 🌝
Wow, fantastic. Great selection of beers and scotch. Food is great. Service was great. A+
Okay for after work drinks if youre in the area. Happy hour drinks from 5-10pm so thats good too but selection is limited
I absolutely love this place my first time coming here my best friend Amanda, who served me is a really really great server not Only that she works really hard for what she does. I would definitely be coming back here along with my family there’s no way I will not be back here. This place is phenomenal and the drinks are perfect.
I spent a Friday evening with a friend. It’s a nice bar, with good food, welcoming staff, and quick service. I can’t say there was something special worth mentioning, but it has everything for a nice drink/bar food experience.
Stopped in for a beer. Bartender seemed annoyed with our questions about beer selection. Seemed to busy even though there were only 2 people at the bar.
Nice ambience and good food. And the interesting cocktail list makes the place a good dining experience.
Great place to grab a drink after work. Food is good but a bit pricey.
Good bar good food popular spot in this area. It gets pretty crowded at night but you have two levels to hit which helps.
You were closed early and didnt update your hours online. We took an expensive car ride here and were greeted with gates, lights out, and chairs up.
Amazing, fun place for happy hour! And it goes till 10 pm!! Great deal for midtown!
Usually do not like eating in a bar/tavern. this is definitely an exception. excellent food and service
Not a very good selection of beer. Other than that it was ok. Service was good.
Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere. Check out the basement bar.
Cozy little pub with decent selection of booze, great place to relax after wandering around Bryant Park!
Good food of you up for a simple meal, fast service at lunch. A little pricey.
Comfortable atmosphere, good prices, great service. We cant wait to go again.
Excellent burger, good cocktails. Good place to grab a quick bite.
The Service and food were excellent for our party if 13. Ill be back for sure
The service was terrible for a higher scale restaurant. My food came in cold, had to wait for 15 mins after our reservation time. Disappointed in the service given.
Had a great meal here. The meals had fresh vegetables and were delicious.
Nice place in midtown they have nice drinks and service is usually excellent.
The front hostess denied us table because we weren’t going to eat, while last week i sat and drink and spent over $300 on drinks, scam artist baiting tourists
Excellent service, excellent food.
Spirited atmosphere and an energetic vibe. Food was nice with fresh vibrant vegetables. Bartenders were polite, attentive and responsive.
Great after work drink specials. Highly recommend the downstairs bar.
Came in after late night ice skating at Bryant Park. Absolutely enjoyed their hot apple cider and Mango Habanero cocktail! Both hit the spot after our fun activities outside in the cold.
Nice cozy bar...can bring a date here and you dont have to worry about talking over a loud crowd
Stopped here for a beer late on a Monday, staffers were accommodative when putting tables together and making a steak sandwich from their lunch menu for a late night snack for my friends and colleagues. Wings were so-so but burrata was good.
Veggie burger,sweet fries,Ice tea.Finished ate the food.I am sick.nothing I can say.never come again.
Quiet place for dinner. Very good food. Excellent service
I like this place, the food is quite good, its well staffed and comfortable.
Fun pub, its a nice place to relax and enjoy. Good music and its pretty lively. Come with friends.
Good food and service id you like a loud bar crowd
Really amazing bourbon selection and even better bartenders 😊
The food was catastrophic!..very low quality. We got chicken for 27 $ !Never again. No food! .bar is ok.nothing special..
We came in a Saturday around 7 and the restaurant was just about empty, which made me nervous. However, we were seated at the bar and was met by the nicest bar tender. He provided exceptional service and I wish I could remember his name. The cocktails were good and the food was very good. Next time we are in nyc we will make a point to visit again.
Loud. So loud. Couldnt hear anything. Me. My friend. Even whatever it was that was playing so loudly. It was indiscernible.Drinks were alright.
DO NOT order the chicken wings! Domino’s takes much better! The wings were too dry and hard, like chewing a piece of wood. The sweet cocktail taste like alcohol but also tasted like cough Med.
Bar service is friendly and drink specials are okay but music is very loud!
The coffee was amazing , the food was amazing , the drinks amazing! The service meh
Fantastic classic New York bar, with very friendly and helpful staff. Very welcoming, wheelchair friendly, accommodating to allergies. Delicious food, reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit if you want a drink or a bite to eat.
I dont know I just love the building I didnt Go outside
Ive been here a couple of times, and its hit or miss food wise. Service is usually good, but they are out of things a lot. For example, I went tonight and tried to order the steak sandwich. They were out of steak, crab cakes, pasta primavera and Cobb salads and the menu isnt that big so I ended up with a chicken sandwich that was dry and flavorless. Nice atmosphere, well made drinks but food is just okay.
Great thanksgiving day dinner. Staff was awesome and the food amazing
Quick service, young hip atmosphere and drinks. tuna was perfect.
Food is really good. The service can be a bit slow at times.
I really enjoyed having lunch here. The burger was excellent it came with a very small salad but the quality of the meat was good and the flavor was very good! I also enjoyed the service and the ambience for just a casual lunch. The nice thing is they don’t push you out to get the next group in there very respectful and courteous to the customers. Overall a really good vibe and a good lunch location I saw some really yummy looking food being served and the bartender is very pleasant as well!!
Place is ok. Usually overcrowded. Food is ok, service is ok. Nothing too special.
Very nice bar with great food and drinks.
We went in and asked for water. We stayed for 5 minutes then noticed the waiter was on his phone. When he finally came over he spilled water on me? And we wanted a little bit more water and he brought over 4 big bottles of water. Like how lazy can you be? Also if I sounded like a Karen in this review I didn’t mean to it’s just it’s horrible there.
Great 5 dollar happy hour. 4 til 8 is great.
Very nice spot to relax and have a drink after work or before a show.
Bartender was not very responsive but place has a good ambiance.
Wonderful Neighborhood Bar...Great Spot for Private Parties & Corporate Events
Good ambience and decor, but food was not great
Always a great time at Croton. Jason, Kaberle, Daryl and the rest of the staff are always accommodating. Best place to unwind after a crazy work day.
Skirt steak sandwich was awesome. Great place all around
Great late night bar food for a reasonable price
I always feel welcomed at this bar. Great ambiance.
Host greeted us immediately upon arrival and sat us at our reserved table promptly. Our waiter was engaging, efficient and our drinks and salads were delicious. Would definitely return. Highly recommend.
Drinks prices are not spectacular, but HH lasts until 10pm!
I was expecting more from the food here.Is no difference from the bars around there. Is fair. The burger is regular.Worth a try twice a month.
Absolutely brilliant bar. Great selection of whiskeys and amazing wait staff. Manager and bartenders are exceedingly friendly and enjoyable to chat with. Food and drinks are also excellent.Had a wonderful get together here with some friends and everyone loved the experience. Will most definitely come back!
Delicious meal at a great spot. I had the Bang Bang Cauliflower as an appetizer. Great presentation and just the right amount of heat. My grilled chicken sandwich was perfect. Who doesn’t like a sandwich with bacon, avocado and Cajun ranch? The service was attentive and our food was delivered promptly.A great experience.
Bad service
Love going here for a drink after work. Check out the downstairs!
It is a nice place. They keep dim lighting inside which makes for a decent atmosphere. They play music, but not too loud. There is a downstairs area and bar that is nice and a little more cozy. In the winter they have coat racks out for you to hang your things up if you would like, but they didnt force us to. The bathrooms were clean, the drinks were reasonable, the service was quick and friendly.
Typical small bar and light grill in an otherwise not so exciting neighborhood, at least on weekends.
Good is very good for lunches. Nice atmosphere
Really good food. Great service
Went here to the downstairs room for a corporate event. Service was great. Food was good (buffet line). Music was a little loud for easy conversations you generally get for business stuff. But the DJ was good. Id go back for sure.
My granddaughter and I had a lovely supper at the tavern. We had the burger and the mac n cheese and both were delicious. Keith the manager came over and chatted with us and our waitress gave us great service. It was a great ending to our trip to NYC.
Good bar food at a reasonable price.
The fries Lovely place. Great vibe and inviting atmosphere. My server for the day, Justin was very helpful!!... Top man! The fries were well done. I will definitely come back.
This was a fun and very inviting bar/restaurant right off Bryant Park. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming and the food was wonderful. Great drinks too-I had hot cider with a shot if Fireball. Just what I needed after freezing most of the afternoon!
Friendly, attentive service. Menu has enough variety for anyone to find something without being too large. Food was delicious and drinks made perfect! Went here on recommendation of hotel manager and would dine here again.
Didnt have any food so the hostess very nicely rearranged existing patrons so me and my guest could sit together at the bar. The drink selection is amazing if you are into scotch and DECENT if into bourbon and very limited rye. My only comment would be for the bar to expand their bourbon and rye offerings. But all in all a very positive experience
Had a great time good times no worries just a blast
Great beer list and the appetizers were quite tasty; especially liked the artichoke dip. (Didnt try any of the main courses). Nice atmosphere. Yasmin the hostess and Tanya, our waitress, took good care of us. Highly recommended.
Was great, we needed to catch our tour bus.acroos the way at the park so I wanted to book a close restaurant. The reservation app was easy & I am glad I used it. There were about 5 groups who walked in approx the same time, I told the greeter my name and we were sat right away. Excellent food options and the waitstaff were wonderful, it had been a long day touring the city and I just wanted a steady flow of 3 cocktails and they catered to that want, also catered to my daughters dietary wants in the food prep. Would go.again next time we are touring the city.
Great restaurant and not too crowded
Chill vibe, great happy hour drinks and prices. Cool wait staff, good eats. A nice low key place to chill without having to be fancy. Good for friends and date.
I had the absolute worst experience just by walking in the door and getting a hand rule he put in my face by some lady I didn’t even know just because I want to go to the bathroom because I had a long drive from Long Island so that was my greeting as I came in with a hand in my face and another guy saying no you have to go sit down and you can’t go… like okay don’t put ur hand in my face very rude so unprofessional
I’ve been coming here for 3 years since working in Midtown. Nice bartenders and great service .. very friendly. Happy hour is poppin n prices are good. Note: only downstairs is happy hour but it’s an awesome vibe.
Nice place. Friendly staff, big bar area, wide selection of top shelf spirits...dont expect to pay dive bar prices here though.
Really solid bar offerings & wonderful food...combined with amazing staff!
Large selection of spirits on the back shelf, some interesting drinks to choose from the menu which I think rotates seasonally? High clean bar, airy space and efficient bar personnel though it was quite busy. Prices bit less than average NY though the place is nice and looks elegant
Their mac and cheese was so good. Everything we had was good.
Food not as good as it used to be. Impossibly loud
Tight space, but the food is always great!
Too dark and too small for a big party. There is NO CELL PHONE SERVICE when you are down in the private room section. Also business sign out front is very dark and incognito that if you are looking for this address at night you might walk right past it. A friend of mine and I passed it the night we went. Well drinks are $10.
Good food. Good place for company of friends.
Fancy bar with a beautiful decoration. They are based oon the reservoir that formerly existed where now stands the New York Public Library. Good selection of beers and ok prices. The service was also very good. On a Thursday night it was not crowded and quiet, just what we were looking for. It has a downstairs floor that was not opened.
Love this restaurant! Great food! Easy walk from Radio City Music Hall.
Great service. Great scotch selection.
Great ambiance for a tavern and burger was delicious. I liked the menu and the variety it offered. I definitely would go back.
Excellent food and drinks! The staff is superb and I highly recommend for happy hour and/or dinner any day of the week:)
Very good business lunch and more room downstairs. Food is consistently good. Solid happy hour but it does get crowded. But thats kind of the point as who wants to drink alone?!
My wife and I stopped in since we had an hour to kill before our flight back home to Chicago and we had a great time. Granted we weren’t here for very long nor did we have anything off of their food menu but here were the positives: the staff was friendly, professional and attentive, the restaurant and bar area were clean and the atmosphere was great. I loved the dark wood and the huge selection of whiskey. If we’re ever in New York City again, we’d gladly stop here again.
We visited for Thanksgiving dinner this year and were sadly disappointed with the quality and presentation. We went last year as well and it was fine--so Im not sure what happened this year. Most of the food was either room temperature or cold, indicating it had been prepared prior to the meal service and reheated. This is not the quality you expect for Thanksgiving dinner and one that costs $50 per person. The salad and sides were low quality. A mouthful of cold mashed potatoes just causes one to lose their appetite. The service was good, although we did let our server know about these issues and not much was done to address it. The manager comped our drinks but overall I feel like I didnt get the value and wont be returning for Thanksgiving or any other meal for that matter.
However, it was VERY LOUD and you need to expand the mens room on the main level
Went for a co-workers birthday party. She rented the lower level. Nice space, good food and just big enough for a small gathering up to like 30 people or so.
Really rude bartender.
It was good. The bartender tended to us rightaway, a little serious but not rude. She looked to know her drinks. We went downstairs andhad s burger. The waitress was very nice. The food was good, regular.
Food was amazing for price (only $$). Had the Lobster Bisque and Spring Vegetable Rigatoni, both were very delicious and filling. Would have gotten dessert but was too full. Very broad range of alcohol brands, cant speak for the wine quality but there were selections for any price range. Waiter was very nice but at times we felt ignored even though we were one of two parties in the place (typical Saturday night?). Only other thing is music was a couple notches past too loud. Overall a great place to have a high-quality yet reasonably-priced sit down dinner. Good way to end walking around Manhattan the whole day.
Great menu options, the food is incredible tasty, and (at lunch) was served quickly. The staff is incredibly attentive too!
We have celebrated here few times. Very good service, food is great. Downstairs is great for group meetings and celebrations.
Great local bar. Friendly bartenders and good food. One of the best burgers in town!!
Good lunch at the bar but tough to get a bartenders attention after work. Average drink selection - challenging if youd like a good glass of wine.
Great bar for drinks- not Great for food

Ive been here several times after work for happy hour. Great drinks and nice atmosphere.
Good burgers.Good for afternoon meeting and lunches.I got veggie options as well
What a delightful bartender we had very willing to open up a new bottle of Bordeaux just for us as well as suggest one of the many bourbon scotch and whiskey they have available a great late night nightcap
Great list of bourbons, whiskeys and scotches from around the world. Friendly knowledgeable staff.
Steak sandwich and croton tea was amazing 😁
Great place for a drink and lunch. Service was good, would stop here again when in the area.
Good selection of beers. Decent happy hour prices for Midtown.
Very bro-y and crowded on work nights but decent happy hour specials
