Came here for drinks before a holiday party. Great view and the cocktails were excellent. I really liked their house signature version of an old fashioned.
Absolutely wow. Cloud M Rooftop at CitizenM Bowery is an experience like no other. From the moment you step onto the rooftop, youre greeted with breathtaking views that leave you speechless. The panoramic vistas of the city skyline are simply stunning and provide the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening. The ambiance is chic and vibrant, with stylish decor and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. The drinks are expertly crafted, and the service is top-notch, with friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Pictures truly dont do it justice—this place is a must-visit. Five stars all the way!
One of the best spot to go for a view and drinks! Amazing views of New York downtown and the bridges. The small plates were ok, and lacked a little flavour, but drinks were great.
CloudM is definitely my number one option always. It has the views and a good atmosphere. If you want good drinks and to be able to talk without super loud music blasting everywhere this is the perfect choice.
I love rooftops, and this one has won my heart. Stunning views and awesome decoration. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. I will come back for sure. Reservations are highly recommended.
Made a reservation here just to grab a drink before dinner around 8 on a friday. the view is great and there is a nice variety of seating options. you have to check in with the front desk to come up and i think you needed to have a reservation. the drinks came to just under $50 for 2 cocktails with 20% tip. which is pretty typical pricing. I would definitely go back and i think this is a great spot to bring guests from out of town. only complaint was my espresso martini had literally no semblance of a foam
I’ve been to so many rooftop bars/restaurants in NYC and cloudM might be the best view so far. The service was friendly and for a place that nice, the drinks were well priced. Beautifully decorated indoors and outdoors. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a classier, laid back night (aka it’s not a crazy party place). Also, not stuffy at all— very welcoming and not “rude” like a lot of the more upscale rooftops.
Great spot for a cocktail and views of the city. Didn’t have any food and bar staff was indifferent. Worth to have a cocktail or two and take in the beautiful lower Manhattan views.
Hands down the best rooftop bar in New York City. This place gets packed at night. Pro tip: go here here and have a drink during the sunset, the views are priceless. The skyline at night is stunning and the bar has a great vibe to it. It would be a great choice for a date. If you are set on going here definitely make a reservation online as walk-ins are not always accepted if busy.
Cocktails are standard NYC hotel offerings - fairly priced. View from the rooftop is great and the vibe indoors is also great. Would recommend if you’re in the area and need a place to grab a drink with someone
View : 5/5Cocktails : 2/5Service/experience : 2/5The view is amazing, not doubt about it. The cocktails are average at best. The behaviour of the staff is rude. We booked a table which apparently just gets you in, we were told to look for our own table and sit. For some time we sat on a small table and bar stool. Then we found a couch went there and suddenly the staff came and informed us that it is reserved. I am never going there and definitely would not recommend anyone unless you are staying in the hotel
This rooftop is one of the best in Manhattan. The view is amazing, indoor or outdoor. The cocktails are great. But not a lot of choice about the food. Very few appetizers.I definitely recommend this place for a drink, party or just enjoying the view.
Nice rooftop bar and amazing views of the city! Food is OK, but drinks are good, and the views are stunning.
I was visiting my friends from Chicago so I wanted to find nice rooftop with good view where could be able to speak well. And I am happy with my experience with that place! Nice atmosphere with a good view on the city
Probably my funniest random find in NYC. Was supposed to go to a rooftop birthday party but we ended up on the wrong hotel and the wrong rooftop. My friends found a table and I guess I have to stay especially it not crowded for now and the view is amazing. This place looks fairly new as the bartender is carrying out cups in cardboard boxes and the process isnt as refined. To start, we grab a random table outside and it feels like a park on top of a building. View is amazing with bunch of Lounge chairs and outdoor bar. Seating seems like free for all.Food is fancy Chinese food and I dont have the desire or will to try any this time or maybe ever. Imagine Chinese takeout packaged in a fancy tiny takeout container. I will never know how it taste like but I will assume it is just like the $6 takeout near my home.Drinks on the other hand is what we here for. They got cocktail and mocktail or grown up juice. Price isnt back for a rooftop with the view. Table service isnt available yet but you can ask. They will run by here or there. Its better to just walk into the bar inside or outside. We had both mocktail on the menu and they are delicious even we can probably make at home with simple ingredients.Overall this is a five star and definitely worth a visit than any tourist spot.
Amazing experience! The server was awesome and so helpful! Thank you for making my birthday celebration so especial! Will be coming back and already told everyone about this place.
Great place to catch drinks and sunsets. Friendly staff. Tasty drinks.
Cons:They didnt let me bring cake to celebrate my friends bday and forced me to get something from their cafe on the ground floor. I didnt appreciate that.Pros:Amazing viewComfy chairs
CloudM is a wonderful place to grab a drink, especially if you’re staying in the hotel. The cocktails are standard NYC prices, but are each an experience unto themselves. One came in a bottle topped with smoke for a whiskey drink, and another a color changing combination that seemed to magically change the cocktail from blue to pink. The view from the rooftop is also stunning, with sights of the entire skyline. The food is also wonderful, and came quickly. All in all, this place is a worthwhile to come to, no matter how far you might have to travel from.
The views from the bar were amazing! The service was wonderful too. Highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable (by NY standard) rooftop bar. You can make a reservation too!
Gorgeous views, not too crowded for a Friday sunset like other rooftops in the area!
I just want to say the view was everything the service awesome, my food was amazing , you and you need to visit here. It was worth the wait
Fantastic bar! Super friendly staff, quiet, great view. Very enjoyable. Really great place with great prices for NYC.
This rooftop bar is one of the best I’ve seen with its views of New York on three sides, and the amazing red window bathrooms. The bar staff were smiley and efficient, mixing drinks that tasted good. You should make a reservation but we just walked in and managed a very good outdoor table.
Gorgeous bar, lounge and outdoor seating, however tasteless drinks. Make sure to use the bathroom while you’re there.
My fiancée and I frequent this place. After stopping in and discussing having 30 people here for a cocktail hour we were told that would be fine multiple times, by management and others. Well come a few weeks before, our reservations were cancelled and told that they changed their minds essentially.I promised her this location, because she loved everything about it, but now we have to take our group somewhere else. This whole interaction has ruined the day for both of us.
I chose the hotel because of this great added value! What an awesome spot for drinks! The views are amazing and the bar carries a fancy amount of cocktails.
They have the absolute nicest staff. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Not your usual superficial roof top bar gig. Highly recommend for drinks and snacks. Thank you, team!
I’ve been wanting to go here for a long time! Make sure you have a reservation or they won’t let you up (in my experience I’ve tried to go without one and every time they said no) The view is just amazing and they have a free pretty special drinks. I think the music inside could have been a bit too loud, but besides that ambiance was perfect.
The view is great and the bar itself looks so beautiful! It’s a nice spot to hang out at too! The only thing is the bartenders don’t really have a personality and they don’t serve anything flavored.. I never been here before but the experience with the bartender made me not want to eat anymore LOL. Like damn, he’s a little blunt that it comes off rude. You can at least pretend you’re happy while working.
Lovely rooftop bar with great atmosphere, decoration, and views. Would come again! Its great in both the day and night. Great service and selection too.
Perfect spot for a quiet date. Great views too! Panoramic of the whole city!
Great place with great views. Be prepared to serve yourself if sitting outside.
On your way up to the rooftop, take the stairs - there’s a street art artist featured on each level!
Brought some friends visiting NY from Europe. Unfortunately we were turned away on a TUESDAY because we didn’t have reservations. Where’s the room for spontaneity? I even called customer service to see if they would be accommodating but nothing!
I like CloudM rooftop. Located in between Soho and LES it has amazing views of Midtown, Diwntown and the bridges. It’s the bar on top of Citizen M hotel.
This is really nice roof top bar. I have been so many roof top bar in Manhattan I think this is the best. all server were nice and kind. Drink was good too! The best part is not too loud in the bar. So I don’t have to scream or read others lips. It was good experience! Definitely come back. The view is the best.
Great rooftop bar with awesome views around Manhattan and into Brooklyn.
We came to join our friend who made a reservation for a small going away party, the front started to check us in and then wouldn’t let us join for no reason at all. We were trying to check in on a Thursday, and the front door staff even told us there was room, but refused to sit us for no reason. It took us ~20 minutes and getting our friends who were already checked in to convince the front door to let us in. Then when we get inside it was empty. Why is this venue so picky when they are clearly nowhere near capacity?Truly some of the worst service I’ve experienced in 5 years living in nyc and a local to the lower east side.
Views are STUNNING during sunset/night time. Service table side was great. Drinks weren’t my favorite, but overall a great experience!
While the view is nice, the service was disinterested at best. The drinks ok, the food seemed like reheated Trader Joe’s frozen apps. If you are celiac or gluten free or have any other food allergies, do NOT trust their menu descriptions of allergens listed. In the winter menu the veggie potstickers were not listing wheat or gluten as an allergen, yet they were made from wheat flour. The nut mix did not list gluten as an allergen, but contained gluten ingredients. It doesn’t seem like the lounge takes food allergies or intolerances seriously, and the staff is not trained, so avoid everything on the menu.
I loved the experience. All the staff, especially Michael, Crystal and Gregory were amazing and very accommodating. The drinks and short eats are definitely worth the price as well. It’s a great place to have a chill weekend with friends.
Super chill cocktail lounge on the rooftop of the new Rooftop of the Citizen M Hotel on Bowery. Amazing views, comfortable furniture, and thankfully undiscovered so far. The service staff are super sweet and service is improving. Reservations on Resy. Added bonus of the Street Art museum in the emergency staircase all the way down to the street. Brilliant idea for space that is most often wasted or ignored. The decor of this whole hotel is spectacular and the roof top lounge is a great example. Definitely well recommended.
Amazing place! The bartender was visiting from Amsterdam and made great cocktails for us, was very cool and friendly and made sure I got a chance to click a picture or two of those amazing drinks. The ambience is super cool, funky, fun which makes you happy only by being there. It’s full of cool art pieces, colours and of course the view of NY. Even the washrooms have full size window! There is all kinds of seating available for anyone’s taste and comfort!Very cool place that I’d love to come back whenever visiting NY.
We specifically booked the hotel because of the rooftop area. It looks exactly like on the pictures and the view is brilliant. That doesnt really help much tho if it’s closed for most of the day (only opened at 4.30 pm even for hotel guests). Also at the time of the booking it wasn’t really clear that no kids are allowed (not even during the day)
You can actually listen to another person and talk: there is no need to yell! Many other people have already pointed out the creative drinks and the absolutely wonderful view: I agree with all of them, the place is beautiful. I will be returning to cloudM not only because of that, but also because one can actually have a conversation while sharing a drink! As opposed to most other Manhattan bars, the music levels were kept to an acceptable level, and there was no need to yell at each others faces. This is a *rare* thing in this noisy island!
Terrible bartender. Ordered a drink from the cocktail menu that had egg white. Bartender poured out of two pre-mixed containers and shook my cocktail.I asked, didnt the drink have egg white? His response: Oh, most people dont want it.I told him I did want the egg white, aka how the drink was presented on the menu. Bartender proceeded not to crack an egg, but to pour from another pre-mixed plastic bottle of apparently pre-made egg white to make me a new drink.Unsurprisingly it was bland, flavorless and textureless. Will not be back, or at least if I am, Ill only order a beer which hopefully the bartender wont manage to screw up.
Amazing views and delicious (& great!) list of cocktails. Came here to show off quintessential NYC rooftops to an out of towner, and it didn’t disappoint. Super friendly staff — even had our server stand atop a barstool to ensure the perfect skyline pic. A new go-to for special occasions now!
Wonderful place with absolutely beautiful views 😍 perfessional welcoming 🙏 staff
The view is awesome and the concept of the this bar is pretty cool. The bar is self service and the food is limited to a local dumplings delivery but it is a very neat and good experience. Ask the bartender for the vodka sour with the homemade pineapple juice!
The views from the rooftop bar is amazing. One of the best rooftops I have been to in NYC. Cocktails were great too. Food could have been a bit better though.
Had amazing sunset drinks here! Drinks tasted amazing and the server and bartenders were very nice. View was expansive and beautiful. Also VERY cool bathrooms
Hey nice vibes and a chill place if you are staying in the hotel, I wouldnt be dropping in with the multitude of options in Manhattan and I would save my money due a rooftop with better views
Good drinks and peaceful rooftop bar with fantastic view to Manhattan bridge, Brooklyn bridge and midtown Manhattan towards the north.
This view is priceless! Definitely visit this rooftop bar when in NYC.
This rooftop is spacious with nice views and great drinks. I prefer it in the evening because being out in summer sun is only fun for a while with me, but most other people really like daytime too.
The views from this rooftop are really amazing! The decor is contemporary and fun which I really liked. It’s spacious and not too crowded. The food is good and the drinks are well priced.
Amazing views, really nice bartenders, and a super cool interior that truly does look like Amsterdam! We mentioned it looking like Amsterdams style even before reading the menus and seeing that they really are Amsterdam-inspired! The drinks are (understandably-so) a little pricey, but its reasonably pricey (if theres such a thing) given the view and atmosphere. They even have genever! Plus, they have couches and loungy chairs, and an outdoor rooftop space (sign me up for summer). One of my new favorite bars
Beautiful views of the sunset. Not overly crowded but waited to sit for around 10 min. They had a spiked hot chocolate for valentines that was the best we have ever had
Amazing views 🌃🌃🌃 awesome drinks 🍸🍸🍸 5 stars overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I came here to lounge and view this establishment one afternoon with a friend. We were told downstairs that there was a private event and we would not be able to come. I also inquired about August 4th again, as I planned to celebrate my birthday there. I told them that I was in touch with the event planner and was told I wouldn’t have to make reservations. One of the workers gave me great advice and told me it’s safer to get a package of some sort just so I can guarantee my guests entry. (Since they have a first come first serve policy)I then asked if it was ok that someone walked me up just to take a look(since I planned to have my birthday there) at the rooftop and come right back. The lady told me she’ll get someone; then in my face the man basically said they cannot do so, the worker actual looked a bit surprised. I will not be supporting this establishment, it’s a real shame.
Amazing views! And great drinks too. Very friendly staff too. Shoutout to Big T! They did have a 90 min limit at the time of writing this. Recommend making a reservation. During Friday night they started to get busy and were a little short staffed so orders took a while to come out. But they were accommodating to us and did not hold that against the 90 min limit.
The view is nice, but they were advertising a special pop-up alcoholic hot chocolate bar with four varieties, and when we trekked out here, they were not serving any of them. Kind of ruined the night.
Kept me in the lobby for 15 minutes to check my reservation email THEN My reservation txts, looking and checking it over and over agan, is this a joke??? Its just a darn rooftop!!! In nyc! We left and went to public which is only 5 minutes away and had an amazing time. They lost good business!
A really nice rooftop bar and restaurant.Located in SoHo you will have an marvelous view over financial district and midtown Manhattan! We where there after dark and it was amazing! The red photo is from the toilet, here you can take a dump with a view 😂
Great views inside or outside! Drinks are sweet and weak but you come for the atmosphere right? The art within the whole building is really cool and fun. Youll need to ask someone downstairs to scan their card to let you up in the elevator. Overall, cool lofty space with great views!
Evidently you are supposed to be a guest at the hotel to be allowed to visit the rooftop bar. I had a nice drink while here. While there is an outdoor patio on the roof, it was too cold on the night I went. Still, there are large glass windows inside which give you a good view of the city.
Fantastic 360 view of New York from this roof top bar. Not a lot of space, so it is cozy. Has an outdoor patio as well. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, great space. The only criticism is the choice of food - very very limited: Dumplings (from Costco?), Fried rice in a to-go box, Fried spring rolls.
Very artist place. Amazing view of the Manhattan skyline!
Cracking view, they know what they’re doing
Once we got upstairs the view and service were great but the staff downstairs had issues finding my reservation even though I pulled up the email and almost didnt seat us!
Great vibe and location. Super crowded though, even with a reservation we didn’t get a seat
Did not let us sit with a large group with literally ZERO people at the bar and we just wanted a beer. Rude and terrible, don’t come here, no recommended
Great place, good service, and great drink selections.
Noticed everyone was drinking beer instead of cocktails. After 3 drinks I understood why. House cocktails were awful. For my third drink I tried just a standard old fashioned and it wasn’t the worst I’ve had, but it wasn’t great. Nice view though.
Beautiful place & nice view
Epic view, amazing service, I always love citizenM’s decor, and a delicious beer. Can’t recommend this place enough.
Amazing views, okay drinks, awful service. Took about 35 mins to get my order in when it was dead.
Best kept secret in the city !! Beautiful lounge and laid back atmosphere. Perfect for a couple or a group of friends.
Great views, kind staff, lots of comfortable seating choices. love the funny drink names!
Great place with an awesome view. In the heart of the lower east side
Great drinks and amazing views! The bathroom is 😍😍😍 (in red). This is a hidden gem. The only downside is the strict reservation policy and not having real food (mostly appetizers). The service is okay, no issues.
Breathtaking views, mediocre service, basic food choices, average-low quality cocktails.
Ambience is great. Service was horrible. Managed to order one beer in an hour. Never checked on.
Rooftop with a great view and not too crowded. The bar us not very generous with its pouring, though.
Great drinks, very friendly and knowledgeable staff atmosphere is young but inviting, highly recommend
I would recommend this spot for great views and a nice cocktail 🍸. Its a great space to enjoy a drink with friends. Not too loud so you can converse comfortably. Make a reservation. The staff was nice and friendly. We changed our reservation last minute to include another person and they accommodated. The bar is self-serve and the menus are electronic. My friends and I had a great time.
Nice and cozy rooftop bar. I’ve enjoyed
Good drinks and very nice views
Love this place. View is amazing and drinks are good!
The Rootfoop appointment system doesn’t work and you will probably won’t be able to join it, because they don’t have a waitlist at the door.
Nice vibe roof top bar had great views. Will definitely be back. Hidden gem
We were told it closes at 1 instead of 2am by the bouncer. This is not true according to the website. Don’t bother with this joke of a place.
Great very, drinks catchy names and good, view amazing must go at sunset
Was ignored by staff for 20 minutes while I sat at the bar awaiting service. If you don’t like your job, you should find a different one.
Love this spot. Great place to stop in early on a weekday and watch the sunset. Bathrooms are a must see!
Great to eat, drink and hangout with friends and family at the rooftop.
Unfriendly staff and mediocre drinks, but the view was worth the trouble.
Beautiful relaxed setting with no pressure.
Great views and affordable drinks. But service was ok.
Fantastic view of the Manhattan skyline
The view is incredible from up there. There is an inside as well as outside sitting and you can see almost 360 views. The staff were friendly as well.
Beautiful rooftop with incredible views of downtown and uptown Manhattan. The decor is very chic and contemporary.Drinks and small bites were in point. Should be on your list if you are looking for a relaxed evening
Best rooftop ive been to in Manhattan. Great service and great cocktails great atmosphere. Good work, CloudM
Ugh found a big plastic piece in the chicken dumpling we ordered. We were able to get it refunded but that was utterly disappointing and disgusting. Just goes to show how little they care about the quality and cleanliness of the food. Honestly there are much prettier rooftop bars in NYC with better views and cost just as much as this place. Not the friendliest folks here either. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.
A hidden secret of NYC and LES. Perfect for happy hour and date nights. 360 view of NYC. Even the bathroom had a beautiful view of LES. Drinks were amazing. The front desk T-BO deserves a raise. He made my date and my early birthday 1000x better. Def come here for sunset or summer nights. Can get romantic at night time.
Their reservations process makes no sense. We were celebrating a birthday on a Monday and wanted to go bar hopping. On Resy, you can only reserve a spot for up to 6 people - we were about 15. We tried calling the bar many times earlier in the day to ask if they could reserve something for us and they never picked up the phone. Later that night, we decide to go and see if they have enough space for us since its a Monday and probably quiet. We were stopped immediately by the front desk and told that we needed a reservation to even go up. We tried explaining to them that we couldnt book on Resy because of the party size and no one picked up the phone, but all they kept saying was You need to have a reservation. They need a better excuse/plan/process because that is just ridiculous. And looking at some of the more recent reviews, it seems like we wouldve had a tough time even IF we had a reservation. They wouldve made so much money off our group on a quiet day - oh well. Hit up any of the other amazing rooftop bars in NYC and pass on this one!!!
Bathrooms are epic
Decent view. Menu was okay. Very empty where we went.
My friend made a reservation and was upstairs already but when I arrived they said they were full and couldn’t let us in. I couldn’t call my friend because her phone was dead so I asked if I could go upstairs and let her know we are here. He said no, we couldn’t go in and they couldn’t let her know we were there. He said they were packed and unless we had a reservation on our name we couldn’t come in. He repeated that they were at full capacity (bur I went online and noticed availability for 1 hour later). Weird! We decided to leave, but maybe 20 minutes later I got a call from my friend. She spoke to the manager Gianna who was kind enough and said to use her name to get in! No apparent reason why we were rejected and why they couldn’t let us in.
I had made reservations to celebrate my 40th birthday here and they cancelled the reservations the day of. Luckily we were able to find an alternative. Save yourself some time and aggravation and just go over to Moxy LES Rooftop 2 blocks down and you will have a much better experience.
Hidden gem with great view and friendly staff.
The men working reception were rude and took a long time to let us in despite having reservations and they insisted the entire time that we didnt have a reservation. I told him serveral times and he said that my group must have been a walk-in group. This was all for us to go up to the bar that was not full or packed in any way for him to be acting like that. Also, it was open seating so there was no reason for him to be rude to me about whether or not I had a reservation. The view is nice but thats it.
Relaxed rooftop bar with gorgeous view. Make sure to make a reservation, it cam get busy.
Loved the experience and the attention. Really recommend the place
Very clean, slick and minimalist hotel. Great location.
Best rooftop from the few I tried here, drinks are reasonable, $8 beer, $10 white wine, $14 red, $14-17 cocktails, some snack type dishes to order. Views are 360 and dope. I love rooftop bars. You need a reservation unless youre a guest
Dante was super welcoming and made amazing drinks! Would definitely go back!
Great view and decent drinks, but this spot is not friendly to large groups. They are reservation only, and Strictly allow only 6 people per group. We were a large group and so we made two separate reservations. Upon arrival, we were refused entry simply because our group knows the other group (aka we were more than 6 people in total), even though there were many seats open! Disappointing experience overall.
Great experience. No reservation, not hotel guests, we were welcomed upstairs (party of 2) by friendly staff. Food and drink was tasty and quick. Views are spectacular.
Almost perfect, they just need to serve at your table
TERRIBLE FRONT EXPERIENCE from the lobby. Customer service is trash here.
Horrible service and bad drinks. Cools space but not worth it. Never again
Amazing views. Relatively inexpensive drinks.
Great bar & rooftop! stunning views of nyc both inside and outside. amazing at sunset. the table food was tasty. drinks were amazing and creative. service was attentive and very well priced! PLUS the COOLEST bathrooms in all of NYC
Nice bar with great views of Manhattan. They are in a middle of a menu change so they didn’t offer many of the drinks on the menu. The rooftop is meant to be only for hotel guests and I find the rooftop being quiet and not much of a vibe.
It was so amazing 👏
Great location and great cocktails, highly recommended.
Amazing view, crazy fancy drinks
A great atmosphere for drinks and snacks! Had a 7pm reservation and it was very chill and not crowded . Cosmos and pretzels sticks were top notch. The view isn’t too bad either :)
Always a great view and never too busy
Great bar with beautiful views of the NYC skyline
One of the best spot to go for a view and drinks! Amazing views of downtown and the bridges, and the small plates are amazing. Also small random thing, be sure to check out the bathrooms, the views and windows are amazing!
Had an absolutely excellent time. While the views and atmosphere are exceptional, the service is even better. Big T took such good care of us and made the whole experience genuinely warm and welcoming. Thanks!
I found my new place!! Drinks are great the service was awesome Danty, Greg and CJ made it such a cool vibe highly recommend. Plus the view is amazing
We waited 30 minutes for pretty meh cocktails. There was only one bartender at the time and they were pretty slammed, and that sucks, but giving people a heads up would be nice.
Roof top is excellent
... Top Rooftop Bar....
The best views of lower Manhattan Ive ever seen. Unobstructed by nearby tall buildings. Everyone that stopped in while I was there seem to feel that way too.
Cocktails are ok, nothing spec, view is good but also nothing spec, average looking place
Sceney indoor/outdoor rooftop with impressive cocktails
Amazing view, service is good
Very good cocktails and the views from the roof are amazing.
Great view over the city from a cozy couch. Delicious cocktails!
Their customer service and drinks are terrible. The worst drinks Ive ever had on a rooftop. Also the front desk doesnt let you even sit in the lobby for a second. I used to hangout at this place so often but their customer service has deteriorated greatly recently. Absolutely not recommended. Their front desk staff are also extremely rude.
We came here to celebrate a special occasion. We were told the wait would be 30 min. We waited for an hour on the wait list and then were told they were at capacity and we would not be getting a table. During that hour, we walked downstairs and were rudely told it was not for visitors, despite the bar being completely empty. Ive never encountered such rudeness in my time in New York City. I am baffled that such a reputable establishment would treat customers so horribly, and will be sure everyone I know understands what a terrible experience this was and to never trust them with a special occasion. Disappointed CloudM.
Amazing sweeping views of the skyline in both directions, and tons of seating indoors and outdoors, couches and tables and chairs. Plenty of space, so I find it really odd that they make you line up in the basement level to get in as if it’s a club even when it’s not crowded at all. Cocktail menu is a little strange, no classics, just weird ingredients. But I love that there’s no table service so you order at the bar and find a place to hang out! Check out the corner bathroom while you’re there for a crazy view...
I get there and i order drink at the bar and before the bartender made the drink, i ask him if they accept cash and he said no they dont. I told him that nyc accept cash everywhere and still didnt believe me. I didnt want to make a show so I left quietly. Come to find out i was right. I hope this place changes their policies because thats straight up discrimation. The bill passed the City Council pre-COVID, back in January, but just now went into effect. It means: A business must accept bills in denominations of $20 or under as a payment option. If not, the first violation goes up to $1,000.Nov 24, 2020.
Great spot with even better views. It wasnt overcrowded despite being rainy outside and the patio closed. The beer selection is a little light, but they have a large cocktail menu otherwise. I would visit again
Service could be better but overall very nice place
Bad, inattentive service for a timed 90 minute reservation. Waiter dropped off our first drinks and never came back. When a different waiter finally responded to our flags, there wasnt enough time left for another round.
Made a reservation, they didn’t not adhere to it.
Not crowded at 10:30 on a Sat since they keep a limit on how many they send up. Amazing views (use the end bathroom), drinks are expensive but cleverly named. Minus 1 star for playing an Eminem album. Also, theres a water station so dont waste your time waiting at the bar for water like I did.
Didn’t have a really great reason as to why our party couldn’t go to the bar, we understood we had a large party but someone we were with said there wasn’t too much going on up there
Beautiful interior design. Drinks were fabulous and the view of NYC at night was pretty nice.
Beautiful rooftop with spanning views of New York.
This place is my favorite view of Manhattan. Come here anytime, all the time. The drinks are great and the staff are chill. When you do come here, after looking at the eelectic decor, use the bathroom all the way at the end-trust me,check it out even if you dont need to use the bathroom.
Nice rooftop over East village.
Very nice rooftop bar. Not too much crowded yet.
I tried bringing a friend to the venue and the bouncer at the elevator lied to us and told us the venue was full upstairs when an event I was suppose to attend was happening. Unable to attend the event, issue at first glance appeared to be race driven given how the person looked I had with me. When I spoke with my associates later who were let upstairs they had no issue getting in and all were of a different race than the friend I had with me. Im really disappointed at the whole thing as I wanted to make this a goto spot for bring out of town folks. Now I dont know if/when I can get in and if they will embarrass me again with someone else.
Says its closed but website says there is still another hour. Entirely made up.
The menu and drinks changed from what is posted. It is very basic Asian fare. The specialty drinks were disappointing. Not enough dark liquor drinks.
Beautiful view from rooftop. The beverages are also decently charged.
Come here before 8pm and its a great view
Amaaazing few from this rooftop bar. Drinks are fairly priced compared to other rooftop bars.
So cool lounge!!!. Awesome views, service was good, cocktail waitress very friendly.
Nice pkace, very nice view, good cocktail (I had the Architect)
Went with a group of six friends. Four of us were asked to leave for “not being guests of the hotel”. Other two were allowed to stay for some reason(they were not guests) and when we questioned why to the staff guy he said he would get physical to remove us if we didn’t comply. And that we “would probably complain on Yelp” because of how we were being treated.(He was condescending, threatening, and extremely hostile.)Uhm...if so many people complain to you so frequently that you EXPECT for them to outwardly express their discontent of you on the internet...then guess what dude, you’re the problem.Bartenders and view= 5 starsBar cop on a power trip= 0 stars(The bald bar cop with the beard)
Incredible views, friendly staff, great drinks.
Tremendous NYC view with delicious coctails
Bar staff were lovely and view was phenomenal. Staff in charge of letting people in were condescending and blatantly biased.
There’s other places that provide better service
Amazing views
Great vibe. Spectacular view
Nice views love it !!
Don’t go here if you’re not staying at the hotel, they will most certainly turn you away.
View... ambience... company... drinks... service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Amazing views, and the service 👍👍
Nice view
Great view, location.
Unprofessional management. Bad service.
Great views
Love the view and decoration
Cool view and drinks
Staff is rude.
Good service
Great views!
Great location, stunning views, good drinks. The latter are almost irrelevant. Moderate prices for NYC, including snacks. The way up and down is also exciting. Its definitely worth walking here, at least from or to the 19th floor.Below is the Hotel CitizenM Bowery - see separate review. It’s definitely worth taking a look into the “living room”. This replaces the classic lobby. Here you can watch art, chill out, work (screens, printers), snack, enjoy... Great concept - similar to bikini hotels.Unfortunately there was a lack of cleanliness in both areas. Even in the bar, the staff prefer to chat instead of wiping tables. Too bad!
Very cool rooftop bar with reasonable prices. Only relaxed people/guests compared to other rooftop bars.Absolutely recommended.
Very nice view. Good cocktails
Nice place! Good cocktails. Take the opportunity to walk down and see the street art on the stairs.
For the bar but especially for the stairwellCompulsory descent on foot
The place is beautiful, very nice views of the city. The cocktails are not good and the price is excessive due to the lack of execution.
Great view, nice service and freshly prepared drinks 👍🏻
Spectacular view of NY. Average prices. 1 glass of wine $14/16, 1 cocktail $15
Good views of the surrounding area and comfortable both inside and outside. Access is a little difficult since you need a card to access the elevator and the prices are a little expensive, even for NY, although a coffee watching the sun set in this part of the city is priceless. The location is quite good since it is close to little Italy and chinatown, which allows you to include it in any itinerary. An important point is the bathrooms, which are mixed, good and very clean. You also do not need formal clothing to enter and we can even stay in the hall, which is also worth it for the sculptures and design.
