Center Bar

I’ve been coming to this bar since earlier this year and I have to say it’s a great experience. I haven’t tried the food yet but the cocktails are great and the piano music adds to the ambience. Great place for a date. Go when Brittany is behind the bar, she makes a great cocktail not to mention she also comes up with her own which are to die for.

Found this on a whim seeking a place to sit and chat w friends in the Columbus Circle. All cafes were packed and had no other place to sit and unwind. While I did not want to drink alcohol, the menu also offered non-alcohol cocktails, so we decided to order some apps to share.I really just wanted a hot coffee but as that is not on the menu, the server suggested the mocktail espresso martini. That was the best mocktail espresso martini I have ever had!We had until 4 pm before we had to return to our hotel to get ready for dinner at Jean George so they served everything on time. Super convenient walk from the Trump Hotel across the street and the Central Park. We parked onsite around the corner from the hotel, and that was helpful especially when you want easy access to the car, hotel, restaurants, and shopping.The amazing part is that we bumped into our dear friend, world renowned, Jazz pianist, playing from 8-9 pm. Had no idea he would play there. He was actually filing in for a friend. It was on a Friday night, and the space was not very hectic. We came back after dinner and had a great time with friends and family. When I returned, Andy played Happy Birthday song on that grand piano, and that was very special.The atmosphere is pleasant and airy, not dark and stuffy, the staff is attentive and friendly, food was flavorful. You will find great seating options: two tops, good number of round bar tops, and seating at the bar. If you want to add more people to your party, they accommodate very easily. For pleasure or business, and cafe option is out, this is a great option, also. Trust me, I was not expecting to sit at a bar.

Center Bar is an outstanding wine bar to have a nice sophisticated drink. Its actually perfect for date night. Located on the fourth floor within the Shops at Columbus Circle, I have had drinks here a few times throughout the years, and the experience has always been nothing short of fantastic! The bar area and views of Central Park/Columbus Circle are spectacular.

The atmosphere was great and relaxed. My wife and I sat down for an hour with an infant. The service was good and the viewpoint on the outside is unique. Though, the margarita I ordered was not the best. If you’re swinging by, I still encourage you to go upstairs and have a drink there.

Good wine bar to chill at with good appetizers! Especially after a show at Lincoln Center.

A great place to sit, have some drinks, great small plates and wonderful piano player for ambiance….a touch of class-great spot for a small group gathering or a one-on-one date

It’s not really fair for me to give them 1 star but twice we went at 8 pm and we’re told that last call had been done. Really? NYC 8 pm and last call? And being told “come back Tuesday” was just absurd. Not happening. Not Tuesday. Not ever

Don’t make resy they don’t honor it, they looked at me crazy when I said I have a reservation (which I made on their site.

Drinking or eating with a live piano played on the background. Great ambiance and view! Will recommend.

Has a real cursed energy, refined to a degree I can usually only find in Las Vegas at 3 am or pm, pre-intoxicated

Absolutely loved the drinks and vibe here, Brittany was amazing. Even something as simple as a Gin and tonic was perfectly balanced. I’ll be back soon with more people💕

This was the best Pimm’s I ever had. A slice of light on a Rainy Day. All around awesome lunch. Primo burgers and primo drinks. The bartenders service was superb.

Love the piano. The decor needs an update (seats falling apart, literally taped together vinyl). Hostess needs training.

Unpleasant experience. There was a cockroach on the ground, and when I told staff about it, the guy’s response was, “This is New York City, it’s not like it’s a rat,” hinting that a cockroach is no big deal. I understand that sometimes insects are unavoidable, it was more his attitude that was the problem. No exaggeration, that’s literally what he said word-for-word. I won’t be back.

This is a great bar at the top level of the Columbus Circle shopping center. Great drinks and snacks and a lovely place to rest from the shopping spree.
