Just a cool little spot on Houston Street near Mulberry with a great Happy Hour of $6 well drinks that runs til 7pm. Keep in mind they open at 5pm. But there were actually quite a few people there right after opening. We got cocktails from the regular cocktails menu that are $12 each , thats still a good price in this area . Order at the bar and take your drinks to a table. I got a Ginger Yum Yum which was pretty interesting and my friend got the Golden Oldie which is a bourbon drink that he enjoyed. Cool 90s hip hop soundtrack. Open til 2am
Very lively and busy around 7pm on a Saturday! No table service, you get up to order at the bar.Ginger Yum Yum ($12) 4/5: strong ginger kick, good flavor from rosemary infused vodka!
Awesome bar, vibes and cheap drinks. But what does it for me is the bartender asking to be ripped after every beer i purchase after I made the decision to just leave the tip at the end of the night. He didnt only tell me about bot getting paid if I didnt leave a tip but also my friends and we all told him we were going to wait until the end since we were still drinking and didnt want to open a tab. Also the first 2 rounds we did leave a tip before deciding to just keep ordering and tip at the end of the night. Been pressured to leave a tip its just not the move.
Im mad at myself for only now checking this bar off my list. Good drinks, cozy atmosphere, friendly bartenders, decent prices. This place is great.
Very nice bar to party or do pregames at night!! Cheap options compared to the usual: $7 shots and $5 beers. They have 2 rooms and offer a lot of space. In the first room there are some DJs and a little bit of space for people to dance !
Great lil dark bar with neon, plants, and happy hour specials. They have Daisy Cutter on tap👍
I just love it ! A great place , Latin music . Nice staff . Perfect to share a drink after dinner . I will go back . So much fun ! And as the slogan “don’t tell anyone about this bar” well, to late ! Definitely recommended.
Excellent selection and fantastic service. Superb happy hour place. Came on a Sunday evening and was very pleasant.
This is my two favourite local dive bars in lower Manhattan. One of the most inexpensive places to dink in lower Manhattan. Knowledgeable staff and good background music. They have a moderately sized back room for private events.
Really fun bar to get affordable drinks (or shots 😉) and the staff is so friendly!!! shoutout to Fred for being so kind to us, we appreciate you. Will for sure be coming back.
Cute spot with lovely vibe with all the plants everywhere! drinks are well made and priced average compared to other nearby spots. my biggest gripe with them is that at night the music is played so loud that you have to yell to be heard even when standing next to people which is annoying. I hate when bars try to have a dance club vibe when that’s not what they are. other than that, great place to grab drinks and hang out with friends. i wish they still made food since their pizza was actually pretty good!
Everything about this place is amazing, I selfishly wanted to rate it 1 star so no one else would find it. Amazing drinks and great vibes!
10/10. Service was impeccable. Staff was as friendly as my grandmother, the manager was on point. Bar tenders gave a home town feel, being one of em was Austin Texas. #hometown
Here’s a one-star review based on your input:I had an incredibly disappointing experience here. The staff showed complete disregard for their attendees and were outright hostile. Our guest was treated with disrespect and degraded, which was unacceptable. The venue was poorly managed, and even basic security protocols were either lacking or ignored. From start to finish, the organization was a mess, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a professional or welcoming experience.• JohnnyLet me know if you’d like any adjustments!
Great bar and good atmosphere ! Drinks are the right price for manhattan and the bartender is really nice
Cheap drinks!
I did both the indoor and outdoor dining here. The outdoor was convenient since they have a walk up and order sidewalk bar. Idk what it’s like all the time, but the night I was there there was only one person working the outside tables and it was busy, which meant drinks took a little time.Once we transitioned inside, I enjoyed the atmosphere for sure. It’s very dimly lit and has a divey vibe without taking it too far. The tables have separators and seating is ample. We ordered the mushroom and fennel pizza ... it was amazing! Absolutely delicious.
Low key dive. Great prices, good location, good music. The bartender was really chill. The customers were also chill and cool. Just one awesome basic watering hole. Totally will go again in the future. Probably gets busy on weekends, but for a weeknight, its a good place. Narragansett is 3 bucks a can most drafts are around 7 bucks. My friend had a whiskey soda that cost 7. Recommend if youre a local, tourist, or out of towner.
Easy to get to bar (only a block away from the Broadway-Lafayette stop). I was surprised to find that frozen margaritas were only 10 bucks, rare for lower Manhattan in my experience. Nice big tables outside for large groups
$10 frozen drinks — it was perfectly mixed & presented very nicely. Tasted good, enough alcohol… good vibes too! Gonna come back :) plus, who doesn’t love pizza??!! (It was filled to the top… I drank some before the pic!)
This place is below ground so its easy to miss. Happy hour is from 5p-8p which is quite nice. Drafts are $2off, $5 Wells/wine, $8 Frozen, and I think Im missing another $5 special. Regardless, there is also a $10minimum to use you credit card. I went here for the first time and it was a great time. The tables were spacious, the lights were super low, candles were put out, the music was low, the crowd filled up after 6:30/7 and the noise level went up, there was a back area seating it looked like but not many people were there-perhaps due to not knowing or a party, the bathrooms were surprisingly clean but did not have paper towels, and you can order food because they do not have a kitchen. I ordered 8 beers and my bill was $22. I had a great time sipping on Left-hand Milk Stout ON DRAFT (woot woot!) and for all those reasons mentioned I would definitely recommend this place.
This cute little bar has great low lighting and reasonable drink prices. The furniture is really quaint and tables make it easy to spend time with friends. On Saturday nights they have stand-up acts in the back. Its a nice bit of free entertainment while having a round in good company. Plus, the location is so central its a good place to hang out before or after another activity.
Great Happy Hour deals until 8pm. $2 off draft beers (don’t remember the others). They have lots of great selection too. They allow you to bring your own food. Theres a Whole Foods right down the street. We brought cake for my friend’s birthday.
Drinks are decently priced, and the atmosphere is jovial and enjoyable. Definitely check out sitting in the back room if youre going with a large party. The bartenders are friendly, which is refreshing to find in the city. Would definitely recommend it if you want to have a fun time in a chill environment.
The outdoor section got closed off and everyone kicked out at 11:30 despite signage saying it was open til midnight. Otherwise the drinks were decent and the staff were good. Old fashioned had too much sugar.
This place has lots of space for larger groups. The music is a bit load if your not into those kinds of spaces but seating is great. There’s no food but you can always bring in your own.
Some of the loudest music I’ve ever heard at a bar, back room was quieter but it was way too loud. The drinks are good, I liked the lavender cocktail
Very cosy and warm. Not too busy on a Sunday night.
Intimate vibes. Back room with extra seating and larger tables. (It can get loud back there though.) Bathroom was stinky but what can ya do..overall a good place to grab a drink and hang out with friends!
Great place for happy hour, not usually too busy on the weekdays and excellent prices.
Great happy hour spot and even after happy hour this place has cheap drinks! Nice refresher for the trendy neighborhood. Crowd is young, hipster-ish professionals. Seems like a singles scene too. Every time I go a dude chats us up. Hey single ladies get on it!
It’s small but it has good music, good and most of all cheap drinks! Great pregame spot! Got a shot and a beer for 6$ you really can’t beat that.
Friendly staffs. Chill vibe and atmosphere. Good music. Tasty cocktails.
We went into Botanica Bar on a Wednesday recently. My bartender was Isabelle, and she was soooo sweet! It was so nice to go to a bar that had incredible vibes and atmosphere, and also where the staff looked happy to be there. She checked on us every time we needed a refill, AND recommended the pizza. It was delicious, and im convinced that saved me from getting a hangover LOL. Cant wait to go visit botanica next time im downtown!
It was OK except for the entry person. He was strobing his flash light at peoples faces to close the door quickly saying the rats would get in. And when asked to stop the flash light strobing he just started to argue
My friend was immediately asked to leave for walking slowly down the METAL stairs while it was snowing. The bouncer questioned him and told him he had to leave. He was asked if he was drinking that night (inappropriate) even though he was coherent. None of my female friends were questioned. This is the first time this has happened and is extremely disappointing. Do not go to this bar as a second stop because they will not let you in if you’ve had a sip of alcohol.
Great happy hour with beer and cocktails. Came on a Wednesday night and it wasnt overly crowded during prime time. Bar tenders are friendly and the place is big enough to hang with a group.
Some of the comparisons made in other reviews seem disrespectful. Forum di Yelp is free and I enjoy that aspect of it the most. My opinion is that reviews should be holistic and comparisons should be made to comparable venues. Comparing happy hour in a small low-cost neighborhood watering hole to a happy hour experience in a non-similar distant venue isnt fair to any of us. It doesnt tell us that this is or isnt the go-to in the area for what it is offering. Tell me why I would want to come here and why I wouldnt want to come here. Here is my take:Come here if you want:To see and meet attractive peopleA friendly crowd on both sides of the barIf your music tastes shade GenXialIf you like dark and intimate spacesIf you arent feeling as cool as normal and want to feel coolerIf you want to do some drinking on a budgetDont come here if you:Are looking for some contrived downtown scene worthy of a milquetoast gram accountWant to frown, be unhappy and unfriendlyDont see this place as a preserved New York treasureWant to watch sportsWant to talk politicsAre critical and negative
Me and my fianceé went there during happy hour. They offer good and inexpensive well drinks, beer and wine. The music is great and the service is excellent. Definitely recommend it!
Pretty nice bar for good happy hour deals. It gets really packed during happy hour, but the ambiance is really nice. The bartenders were nice and friendly too. Would definitely come back.
Chill bar right on Houston St. So great location, dinks are cheep, and atmosphere - relaxed. The only reason I took off a star is because the music got progressively louder over the evening. We were there with a group of friends so by the end we could barely chat and hear each other.
Went here on Cinco De Mayo. Good times, bartender Isabelle was friendly and perfectly mixed our cocktails. Friendly and chill place to hang with buddies...
My favorite place for happy hour into late night drinks. The happy hour is unbeatable with a really cool and laid back vibe. Then a DJ comes and spins and this place turns into am even cooler place to be.
Great casual place to go for drinks with a group. There is no table service dispite having several table in the back of the establishment. The place looks small from the inside until you continue walking back which opens to a separate room with more seating and tables. There is a long table as well which can hold a group of about 15 people.
Ive been a frequent Botanica patron since 2012, and it has changed very little in the past six years--the only thing I can think of is that the happy hour prices went up by 50 cents (yes, a well cocktail used to be THREE FIFTY at happy hour). Its a great place if you like basement dive bars, and the vibe is pretty chill most of the time, but the fact that its so cheap (SO CHEAP!!!), especially for the area, means that the crowd varies a lot, and can tend towards obnoxious/underage/bridge and tunnel if you get unlucky or during peak time. It is always, always loud. Get here early, bring food in because youre allowed and the drinks are STRONG, and enjoy this classic gritty New York oasis.
Tough to find a single seat during happy hour but boy is it worth it! The house wine tastes like a finely aged Bordeaux at $5.
My fav bar in NYC.Fun, cool staff and not pretentious. One will always find a nice crowd, everyone is welcome.I would def say this is a place you can go by yourself and meet locals in their natural habitat lol...
Cool place.Steak was really disappointing. Flavor was eh, size was just embarrassing - I was actually angry when they dropped it off. Pastas were good. Manchengo cheese needed a carb.Dessert was delicious. Bread pudding was outstanding.
One of my all time favorite dives. Great atmosphere, plenty of seating, and amazing happy hour deals. The house cocktails are always a good choice, too
Super fun, and drinks are a bargain
Been going to Botanica since I first landed in NYC... before it ever had any sign in the window saying what the place was. (Took years for them to finally put up one.) Always a good vibe, DJs, nice stuff on tap. Theyve got two happy hour periods—from 5 to 8 pm and another from 2 am to 4 am. TWO happy hour periods. Need I say more??
Love this place. Cheap drinks in a dark dive bar! Literally have been coming here for 8-10 years.. damn Im old, but so is this place! It stays strong!
Service was good considering how many people were at the bar. Ok prices. Minimum of $20 on cards. Super loud, not a good place to go if you want to chit chat without kind of screaming.
Great prices for the neighborhood, fun young vibe
Best happy hour. Prosecco on tap. Great beer selection. Wish I had this place back home
Great bar with a really good happy hour selection. not sure what its like with so many people WFH but it used to get very crowded
Very reasonably priced drinks. Friendly atmosphere. Great place to hang out. I will come back next time in NYC.
Used to be great. Now just okay. Good drinks and options and service. Comfy couches and location are best reasons to come here. Not for the DJs. Worse, DJs.
Low key bar. Decent beer selection. Cool spot to hang with friends since its not too loud in there.
Dig the vibes and the drinks. There is nothing more pleasant than having a handsome bartender on a wednesday smiling the whe time youre there. DJ played great music too
Nobody wants to serve us at this bar. Ever.
Dark and often crowded, it has a divey feel but with much better drinks, and well priced for the Soho location.
Fun dive bar, gets busy later. Good selection of beers. Good music.
Good, cheap beer. Back room provides false sense of security needed for dancing on tables.
Dont tell anyone about this bar! It has a great atmosphere and good prices! Keep it a secret!
Very rude. I spoke to a server over the phone who was extremely rude and mentioned she was the only server so she couldn’t do anything. Called around 7:21PM on a Saturday. Talk about horrible customer service.
Wonderful for a late night with a combo of people who like to go out and those who just want to snag a beer.
Such a cute space! Great location and prices. Can’t beat $5 happy hour drinks in NYC.
Very dark and crowded but decently quick service
Good spot for a happy hour drink. Staff are good.
Good beer and the definition of a dive bar so if thats your thing youll love it.
Nice bar with a neighborhood feel ( well it is NY so please adjust the neighborly feelings ). Music was a little all over the place.
Nice Dive bar. Good place to catch up over drinks.
Great staff, great drinks, and excellent pizza! Socially distanced fun with enforcement of protocols.
Cool bar w bouncer on Houston St in soho
Cheap bar for pre game or after work. Not the best view or Manhattan s place but very affordable for the area
Great for happy hour before 8pm, especially on a Saturday evening before it gets packed
If youre looking for a good place to get your drink on, this is a great place to do it.
Huge shoutout to Darwin. Excellent bartender. Drinks here are great and so are the vibes.
It is such a vibe, great music and great drinks.
Nice vibey hole in the wall, unexpected for the area. Good draft selection and eclectic DJs.
My go to bar in the area, still the same as it was years back when I lived nearby. Consistency is key!
Nice local bar with decent drink prices and live DJ.
Good drinks and good music always. Nice chill hangout spot.
Great happy hour, lovely bartenders, and an excellent place to grab post work drinks. Absolutely killer bar.
Great spot and good music, affordable drinks too!
Honestly alright drinks, but fantastic price for the area
Cheap happy hour and great music
Love this place. Always have. Awesome dive bar in Soho.
Loved the place. Great atmosphere and drink selection.
Cozy little bar, great drinks and not too crowded.
Great little hideaway spot...good bartenders too.
Grungy but simple. Good space in the back to have a chat but otherwise very loud.
Ziggy is the best! Great bartender who makes you feel right at home.
Stumbled into this place. Has a cool vibe. From what I remember I had a good time.
Nice little bar and good place to hang out in.
Classiest dive bar Ive ever been to
Quaint little find. A hole in the wall but enjoyed. Only problem is happy hour wine is is a juice glass.
My fav bar. Their ginger yum yum is the best.
Wonderful! Another hidden gem of mine in NYC. it’s peaceful and jazzy atmosphere makes it so lovely and cozy for an intimate and soothing time. They’ve got a full bar and small but delicious menu. The bartenders are lovely. It’s one of the only places left in the city where you can still find that warm, calm and movie-like privacy at a bar. Love it there.
Doesnt offer food, but cheap drinks, gets noisy after 6p
6$ beer and shot (not on the menu)
Amazing and kind service with delicious drinks. I recommend the Christina yum yum. A pleasant mix of ginger and acid with a good kick of booze. This place is owned by warm people with good hearts. Their outdoor seating is nice too!
Cruised into this NYC bar, the first one that I have been in since February 2020...checked at the door for proof of vaccinations...found a easy going atmosphere and doable pricing for the drinks. What really made the difference was the four or five girls sitting next to us who were singing to the songs on the jukebox they sounded so good that we joined in and had some good laughs as a result...thats what good times are all about...
Still in shock about a rude bartender from Saturday night. Coming from someone who bartended for almost 10 years, I do understand when they’re busy, but I sat there for a good 20 minutes with no acknowledgment. These bartenders had no sense of urgency, just kinda strolling through the evening. Finally after waiting long enough, I very politely said to the bartender “hi, may I please order a drink when you have a second?” She snapped at me and said “I don’t have a second but when I do, you can” — my friend looked at me said let’s go so I knew there was major attitude when I politely asked for a drink. I get it, bartenders are busy but there is an ENTIRE bar. Not the same 3 inch radius that she continuously served throughout my time there. I will never be back here.
Has kind of a dive bar feel (which I love) and some fun interior decorating choices with lots of plants. They had a special for tequila shots and a beer for $6, which was both great and terrible.
Karaoke night it’s great, especially with friends or coworkers
About a week ago I walked into this bar and while the vibe was very nice, some of the patrons were a little....weird. This girl named Christina kept bothering people claiming shes going to be a famous white rapper or something. I figured she was just drunk but she kept insisting people chant Chris Angel because her name was similar or something? The whole thing was very awkward and we ended up just leaving. Too bad. Cool spot though!
Nice little dive.
Music was sooo good tonight when the lady DJ was playing…then these two dudes took over and were not playing what the crowd wanted. Everyone left and so did we.
DO NOT ORDER MARGARITAS! All I tasted was vodka and ice.
Good choice of beers and reasonable prices for the area
Best happy hour! Always packed but always able to get a seat! Great beer and addition of pizza is a game changer!
Great drinks, music, & karaoke DJ!..
I used to work very close to Botanica and its been my favorite bar since they opened back in the late 90s. They snazzed it up slightly some years back but its still a friendly, low-key place to get reasonably priced drinks and hang with friends. During the pandemic they had to offer food to remain open, so they transformed the back room into a pizza kitchen. I recently tried it for the first time (pepperoni) -- really flavorful and good! Didnt think it was possible but now I like the place even more.
Love how spacious it is, if it seems busy make sure to walk to the back and see if there’s seats in the back room! Extremely affordable for lower Manhattan and the happy hour is very generous. Every bartender I’ve encountered was extremely friendly and open to conversation. Definitely check this out after a long day of shopping or work!
Went here with a couple friends for a quick drink and paid with cash. Left a tip when we ordered drinks. Ordered a pizza for with a $20 and paid paid and took the $2 back. Went back up after and ordered a frozen margarita and was given an attitude so I didn’t feel the need to tip. When I sat back down with my friends moments later the girl that didn’t serve me came over to our table and started yelling at us for not tipping throughout the night. She wanted us to know that they don’t get paid at all at the establishment (which totally can’t be true) and that they relied on tips. She said since we are young she wanted us to know we are being rude and should tip. She also said she wasn’t going to serve us anymore. I don’t remember much else of what she said because I kinda blacked out but she went on for a while and it was totally uncalled for. I can’t fathom the logic that went through her mind thinking that if she belittled us it would make us give her money. Like what??? The rest of the time we were there the two bartenders kept giving us dirty looks because we did not tip them the $3 “we owed them.” I have never experienced anything like it in my life. I am appalled. The girl that yelled at us had short black chopped hair, heavy makeup and a bandana. The thing is, she came up to the table and yelled at me and my two friends, who happen to be Asian and Latino, after I ordered. But I didn’t even order from her!!! After reading multiple reviews on this establishment, it doesn’t seem uncommon to be bullied into tipping. I am absolutely disgusted and will not be patronizing this establishment ever again.
Not my #1 but definitely gets the job done, nice ambiance
Highly recommend. The dude working was great. Super nice. The pizza was good. Cooked a bit hot but very good. Pina coladas could use an extra shot for sure.
Sunday night karaoke for 11 years. Perfect!
Small, good music, cool people!! Would come again
Good beer selection. Long bathroom line. One of the 2 were closed because someone puked in the sink around 9pm. They never cleaned it up until last call. Someone upstairs threw water at people leaving. Bouncers were pretty rude.
Great place with amazing prices.
The amazing pizza that was once here during the pandemic now has its own home at Oma Grassa in Fort Greene. Still a decent bar with service that is always friendly
$6 beer shot combo is where it’s at. outdoor seating is great. bathroom is always coated in piss though. ha.
Used to be one of my favorite bars, but honestly came in in a group of 10 co workers (from a restaurant nearby) and the service was awful. Bouncer literally sat next to us to watch us as we were talking. One of us laughed too loud and within 2 mins he was there to make her feel drunk after 1 drink. Like, you have a $6 special and Im gonna get judge for buying it.We were thinking on Botanica for a staff party but after this, not anymore. If you gonna come and deink you wont feel welcome from moment 1 so here it is. I guess come on a date instead of a group unless you want a bouncer keeping the looks at you like youre a thief
Unremarkable bar. Good happy hour, bad wine.
Kewl spot. Crowded for a Tuesday but great priced beers! A little section in the back when it gets heavy in the front and the bartender was amazing! He was focused and I never felt looked over which can happen in a busy bar! Great area. Place was easy to find as well just at Houston and Mott Street
Hidden gem with true dive prices and a Happy Hour that runs till 8. A rarity given how easy it is to access with a train station down the block. Spacious too but no frills. It is a dive afterall.Pretty sweet find for the area and the selection is pretty broad too.
Drinks taste like iced cleaning products. Awful. What happened to this city?
The worst Long Island Iced Tea Ive ever had. Bitter. Boo.But the place was really nice. A shame. Ill try again sometime just for the space. Hopefully the drinks improve. Sheeeeeeeeeeeesh
Was fine - your standard basement bar on the LES
Amazing spot. The owner is an absolute delight and the pizza theyre serving up these days is honestly some of the best za in the city. Truly delicious. Dont miss it.
The bar is so dark I couldn’t really talk to the people I went with.
Every time I go its very quiet and the drinks at happy hour are the best. All the bartenders are always nice to me. And dont talk you to death
Too crowded all of the time. Nice back room
Good reasonably priced drinks and good aervice
The place is a bit on the dark side, but the prices and happy hour special cannot be beat. $2 off a solid menu of drafts and (small) wine glasses. Great local spot in the LES neighborhood for getting together with a medium sized group of friends. Grab a table and kick it back for a few hours.
Simple, small bar. The Happy Hour is pretty solid, and they have a good beer selection. The place is divey but it works. They have a few snacks if youre hungry, but they dont have a full kitchen so dont expect a lunch or dinner here unless youre on a liquid diet.
Best happy hour in soho, gets really crowded during happy hour so get there early. It’s a great place for groups because of all the seating, bartenders have a lot of people to serve so sometimes it can take a minute. Definitely a mixed crowd
Went to watch a friends set here. Had a good vibe and friendly staff. Would definitely come back to hang out again.
The first thing I noticed was the cute bartender. The second was the amazing happy hour. And then I was introduced to the Ginger Yum Yum. While its embarrassing to hear those words come out of your mouth, this is an amazing drink made with rosemary-infused vodka, fresh ginger, and Goslings ginger beer. If the noise up front bothers you, head to the backroom to enjoy a quiet conversation on the eclectic mismatched furniture. Hungry? Botanica allows you to bring in your own food.
Cute spot, will be going back!Definitely needs more Botanica inspired house drinks 🙏🏻
Love Botanica! Ive been coming here for years. Happy hour is a bargain and the bartender is always chill. DJs are great as well. Can get crowded so come early and often.
Great Vibe! Cool People & Cool drinks!
Great spot with great deals! $6 for a Narraganset and a well shot, amazing!!
Best happy hour Ive come across yet in the city. Cheap drinks, friendly service. Plan on coming here a lot!
Honestly Botánica has been our go-to spot for years. It never fails & the playlist is always PERFECT.
Frozen Spicy Margaritas are Soo good.
Neighborhood bar feel. Not a crowded when I went and not at all loud. Seems great for drinks and conversation.
Had a great time at Botanica. The drinks and beer on a scale of 1 to 10 give it a 10. Now as for the music a bit too loud we had to yell at each other to be heard. All in All a nice place...i will go back soon.
Great terrace and affordable drinks, very good cider :) will definitely come back to try the pizzas
Dope music. Cheap, but creative and tasty drinks. Credit cards accepted. Definitely coming back with friends again.
Drinks were okay. The DJ was HORRIBLE. I wish there was a word that was stringer than horrible. His music selection was literally all over the place. He pretty much was playing music for himself and didnt feel the crowds vibe. A bit disappointing for a Saturday night.
Great atmosphere and happy hour
Nice place, delicious ginger drink.
You cold describe this place as a “hole in the wall” but it’s a lively spot in a lively neighborhood. Great beer selection, close to many subway options.
My favorite happy hour spot. Great drinks, good music and vibes.
Classic village/Soho dive bar. Good place to start and finish a night out.
Botanica has an amazing happy hour, is so loud after 6, is quite shabby and also the best.
Cheap strong drinks with an authentic downtown vibe. Dark, so ideal for introverts and cool kids...
Great place. Awesome drink special. Cool music with dj and very cozy and loungy withoit being too serious. Relaxed fun atmosphere.
Great atmosphere, unbeatable happy hour, and centrally located! Definitely recommend!
They had 2 dollar draft during covid. Pretty unheard of in NYC
Really nice bar. Beer is good and not overpriced. + there is good music.
Really great classic dive bar. They have a solid tap beer selection, good cocktails and friendly bartenders. A place with a good vibe us non fancy out of towners can go to escape the high price city bars yet still get a good experience.
Cool spot, cool cocktails. Great prices for a place that still has that weird bleachy dive bar smell.
The best bartender in the city. Noone can serve everyone like her in the midst of chaos with a smile 😊
Its a nice and simple bar. Not too many like them left in NYC.
Cool bar with good music and drinks.
Dive bar with great dj & bartender on Thursday night. Mixed crowd and every genre of music that sounds good
Fair prices for drinks but server was slightly rude. The ambiance seemed nice but we didn’t get to go in :(
A great place to meet blind dates. Great djs and some reasonable delicious cocktails.
Cosy place great for afterwork drinks.
Great drinks and very trendy bar for meetup with groups of friends.
Relaxed, chill atmosphere, real neighborhood vibe
No place Id rather be on a Sunday night. Great bartenders, great selection, best dive bar in NYC.
$5 well drinks for happy hour, and only $7 after that.
This is my go to spot for a drink... Good crowd, great location, and reasonable drink prices (for NY...)
I have been coming here for a while, friendly staff and great proced drinks. 5-8 hapoy hour and of you are out late theres a late happy hour on top.
Cheaper dive bar for the area. Music is way too loud. Lots of space though.
Perfect after-work place to meet up, decompress, grab a drink, and complain about your obnoxious bosses. The happy hour runs until 8, and there’s plenty of space to sit
Unassuming bar with an excellent happy hour.
Great music & atmosphere!
Love their late happy hour! And I didnt catch her name, but the bartender there was really great!
Need to go back, but seemed like a chill place with nice music
Excellent place with great selection of beers, friendly staff
Super cheap happy hour.
Good value, good vibes
Hideaway basement bar with a grungy vibe and usually a good DJ. Good place to take people for an intimate conversation. Big room in the back for large groups.
Good cheap drinks and friendly staff!
Went on happy hour to celebrate a going-away.
Pretty cool dark bar in SoHo
The last great bohemian bar in Soho
Quick service but full of straight men yelling
Not able to request songs.
I just really love this bar a friend of mine put me on to this lovely place ever since then Ive been hooked the prices are really cheap go there with like 80 to 60 bucks and your coming out stumbling lol its a chill spot and one of the bars that I regularly drink at
Its a great bar for the area when its quiet...
Young, friendly crowd with cheap happy hour drinks. Ill go back.
