Their website is very detailed and it is easy to understand their rules when you call to book a room. The service in the book karaoke room was great too. Decently priced cocktails. The song selection was fantastic and I cant wait to karaoke there again. There is a deposit to reserve a room, that get applied to the final bill. Also thankful my party and I were not rush out at the end of our two session, which I appreciated. I recommend this place.

Such a fun place for a night out! We had a bigger group so we rented one of the karaoke rooms and it was an absolute blast. They had a very large selection of songs and the drinks were fairly priced.

I live in the neighborhood, and this venue consistently draws in large crowds with speakers on the sidewalk that disturb the entire neighborhood at outrageous hours of the early morning. Often times it’s including the bouncers as well, typically after their closing on weeknights which is at 4:00 am. They harass the neighbors as well when asking them to keep it down at 4:30 am on a Wednesday, which is a pretty reasonable request. When Ive walked past the venue at night, Ive been harassed by both male staffers and patrons waiting at the door. It’s disappointing that Boho Karaoke does not care about fostering a respectful relationship with its neighborhood and residents, or properly training its staff to be respectful to others.There are so many other wonderful bars and karaoke spots in the LES that are respectful of the neighborhood and uplift the community instead of being a consistently disrespectful public disturbance. Would recommend going to any of these spots before contributing money to this business, as would any other LES resident. Do better.

A sign of a good karaoke bar, when you enter you immediately walk in on an enthusiastic singer doing a solo act on a podium, while everyone surrounds them at the bar, singing along and cheering.This was what we walked into at boho.Fortunately, for my personal shame-o-meter, they have plenty of private rooms too where you can comfortably sing along with smaller group of friends.They pro-rata the cost of the room based on the time you spend, dont round up to the next nearest hour, which is fair.

Booked a party room for 10 people they cramped us in a tiny tiny room that can only comfortably fit 6. They had us standing around waiting for our reserved room for 30 minutes saying theyre cleaning this one by the front just for them to bring us to the basement with no service. It felt like racial discrimination on the lowWaiters were bad didnt know what they were doing one girl was straight annoying and rude. drinks super small and mostly juice. Half of the drinks were frozen without being described that way (where tf is a s on the beach ever frozen? ) which is a cheat code to giving no liquor on the low.Our time was cut early lowkeyThe songs are not up to date, are not in sync, the remote is old and dingy. It felt like we were shoved into 2007 with no nostalgia points. TV didnt work for 15 mins they shouldve gave us extra time to make up for thatOnly thing i liked was the security/bouncer. He was cool and funny!Will not return mwah no stars.

Great for my first karaoke bar! Rooms were small and definitely not sound proof but we made it work. It had most of the songs we wanted!! Great list.

This place is lit. The bartenders are friendly (esp. Jenny, Niru & Hannah) and while it can be busy on weekends, early in the week it’s chill, and if you need a room $10/person/hour is a steal.Bar’s cash only tho. I see this being a weekly thing for me.

I planned a surprise birthday karaoke room for a party of 8 and it was extremely disappointing. Upon walking in there was no hostess or cashiers to direct us. As we directed ourselves through the rooms an employee yells at our party for opening a door and demands us hastily to find a cashier to find our room.We paid $140 for 10 shots and 10 mixed drinks. The shots were mixed with little to no alcohol. The mixed drinks were okay. The room was okay. We chose Boho Karaoke to enjoy a special celebration and we were not provided with the service/drinks we were promised and paid $240 dollars for.

My brother and I always have a blast coming here ! The bar tenders are always happy and friendly. The location also has private rooms for events as well!

Went on a Saturday, wanting a night of karaoke and definitely got it from here! The space is big enough to sing your heart out alone! The servers were kind and welcoming.

Has a good bunch of old Bollywood songs (no new ones though). Food was okay and drink options were quite a lot!

This is a karaoke bar open until 4am.Went with a friend, clean , great vibes. Even if you can’t sing people are super welcoming!The prices for drinks were each $7. At least for vodka mix , white claw and beer.They also have private rooms, but you don’t need to get one, you can sit at the bar.They have a small stage for anyone who wants to stand on that and sing.

Its cheap but the drinks arent good, tastes like they added lemon juice instead of alcohol. Couldnt try food because the kitchen was closed. You can hear people singing outside the room, I would want it to be private. Theres cameras and a window so people kept looking into the room. Lastly service was as fast as possible it was New Years eve so I know they had a lot to deal with. The service was great just had a problem with the drinks.

The small private karaoke room was great for our group of 5 and was reasonably priced! It was easy to find the available songs after using my phone to scan the QR code that brought up a website including all the available songs. The staff member who was assigned to our room checked in at exactly the right frequency to see if we needed anything.

I booked a private room here sight unseen for a birthday party that TRULY could not have gone better.(Manager?) Lee kept the drinks flowing and made sure my whole party was well taken care of. I initially booked the room starting at 5:30 but no one showed up until 6:00 because they were getting out of work, so Lee extended our reservation and Happy Hour prices on the house to accommodate us.I am SO lucky that I picked Boho orchard to have my birthday at. Elite level service that you won’t get at more “popular” venues. Everyone had a great time. We’ll be back :)

Deceptive business practices.Its not written anywhere on their website, but they impose a minimum of 3 people per room, even if you make a reservation only for 2.The prices are lower during happy hour, but they dont refund any of your deposit.The rooms are pretty dirty as well. Avoid at all cost

Make reservations beforehand, otherwise you’ll be charged about $20 per hour per person if you walk in. This was not stated on the website and only after the bill. Additionally, the specials on the website do not apply on Saturday. Searching for songs is difficult in the private rooms because the catalog is a binder and flipping through the pages can take a while. The mics were good, but you can’t change the key of song.

Easily one of my favorite karaoke bars in NYC. The bartenders are friendly and responsive, the stage is perfect for making the night about you and your friends (whether you sing well or not) or friends to be. Especially recommend coming by on a weekday!

Great venue! I believe they have private rooms, but we just joined the general floor. Can get a little packed, but theres a small center stage ( 1-2 people stand on it) and they let people queue up songs for group karaoke. At first, it seemed chaotic, but quickly became a very fun experience, with people calling out the next song and scanning the crowd for who the next rockstar to get onstage would be, as well as cheering each other on. Will definitely be making my way back there

Almost forgot how fun an impromptu karaoke bar is. Went the Sunday night of the marathon and the place was electric.

Sang at the bar for the first time this week with a couple of friends and had the best time! Happy hour specials were great at $6 each for soju cocktails, and the song list was pretty up-to-date (with great oldies as well). It was cash only like a lot of other places, but I think this will be my new go-to spot because 1) our bartender Kristina was awesome 2) the pizza spot across the street was genuinely delicious, and 3) the place is so much fun especially with the mini stage!

If you’re doing a private karaoke room, keep track of time yourself!!!Went to karaoke in a private room for a small girls’ night. We were told it was $40/hr for the two of us. That’s already pricey for the quality of the setup, sound system and music selection. That is to say, the sound quality was terrible, and the music selection was limited and difficult to navigate in the karaoke system itself.But yeah, we said we wanted to do an hour given we were planning to have early nights.Anyway, we lost track of time and ended up staying 1.5 hours. I went to the front to ask why we hadn’t been stopped at an hour. And the guy said that they don’t do that here because they can’t keep track of everyone. So they just charge us by the hourly rate for however long we end up staying.I’ve been to many karaoke places in the city. NEVER have I encountered this kind of payment system before. And we weren’t informed this was how things worked either. If we had, of course we would have set timers ourselves.The whole situation seemed scammy and dishonest. They ended up giving us $10 off for the confusion (hence 2 stars instead of 1), but we were still so disgusted by the whole situation.Be clear with your customers! It doesn’t take much effort to keep them informed!!

The seasoned fries and pop corn chicken was amazing u can pay a fee to bring your own bottle in . the place is small but they are very accodmating. I had 19 people for a birthday event they have a lot of songs everything was so fun . great atmosphere . the servers were nice . great place to bring a party and the prices are reasonable 10 dollars per person per hour 15 dollar with tax

Hate that this place is cash only but its a lot of fun! I havent rented out the karaoke rooms because the crowd at the bar area is so entertaining. The queue to sing gets pretty long after 10pm. A drink gets you a song, so no doubt youll eventually have the liquid courage to belt out tunes well out of your range. And if you dont need liquor for that, its $1 a song.

Worst karaoke bar in nyc…….very dirty environment inside and the asian girl bartender was trying to charge me for drinks that i didnt even purchase… clearly trying to take advantage of my drunk state and overcharge me. Good thing i asked for the bill.

Pretty solid karaoke place! Pretty good song selection, about the same as others in the area, which is good but not great. The song menues are a bit stickier than they should be, and sometimes out of order, but their online app is awesome. They bring you bottles and pitchers of alcohol, which ended in our group being quite drunk. The really awesome thing was we actually got a big room! They didnt make our party of 12 cram into a closet, there was enough room for everyone!

I stumbled upon this spot and was not disappointed at all had so much fun. Singing and vibing out with everyone there. Definitely will be going back. Drinks are reasonable prices didnt have any food to eat but they do serve food there. Over all a great atmosphere.

I went there on Saturday night and I had a great time :) The bar seems quite big and beautiful for having a party. Everyone in the bar are enjoyed the time very much. and If you have a drink, they will give you a song ticket for free !! before I come here, I went the other karaoke bar, but the ticket was not free. I think one drink and one free song ticket is a good deal. :) If you are looking for the place to party, I want to recommend this place !

Place got three stars only because of the great hostess and the moderately cool crowd, but really deserves 1.5 stars. They dont accept credit cards. Not an issue, I thought. I go to the ATM located inside the establishment and its out of order. Ok. No problem, I guess. I have a few singles and some quarters on me from doing laundry and I dont drink much, so one beer should be good for the night. I bought a $7 beverage. I gave the bartender 6 singles and 4 quarters. Bartender then has the audacity to tell me that they dont accept change as payment. *Um...What?!?* There is no food menu, so if you were looking for appetizers and little bites to eat, look elsewhere. Honestly, I dont know how they are still open. I guess selling a piece of paper for $2 to write down a number for a specific song is a lucrative business. Its a no frills Karaoke joint. You and your friends are your own entertainment. Bring your own food if you go.

Ok, so, the placed flooded, and the sound system upstairs had really bad feedback. BUT: the staff was so incredibly nice and helpful, and the happy hour private rooms are so cheap during the week.

I havent been 2 the new spot down the block @152 Orchard,but the old spot was fun. Nice size room with a little stage. The happy hour could be longer with more specials. &they need 2 take out the explicit versions of some songs.

Good karaoke... Horrible experience. I like the place, ok song selection, mini stage... Not long g lines to sing but this place doesnt take credit at all. Theres an atm in the place to get cash but this is super inconvenient.Worse, the last time I went, the machine took 60 dollars from my account and returned no money. I was livid and though the manager says hed call me the next day to discuss refunding my money, he never did.If you go, make sure you get your cash first early from your bank and dont use that atm they have in the back.

Good price on drinks at the bar, the staff is fairly friendly. They give you a free ticket to sing one song. The place is very spacious and great for large groups. Mostly American songs and a bunch of Chinese song listings.

I came here for my birthday this year - after having come pre-COVID hundreds of times for fun - and was happy until I was very disappointed.One of the staff members tried to manipulate me and my small party of THREE (3) people to pay for drinks we did not order as well as an extra 60-120 mins that we did not even ask for - we were under the impression he had gifted us an extra drink and hour(s) for my birthday !! In regards to our drinks - he did not charge us happy hour prices though we began drinking and ordered 75% of our libations 15 minutes before happy hour ended (this I noticed as we were leaving at closing time and the sign outside reminded me that we were ordering happy hour drinks and had just paid full price (even for a drink that was given w/o request as a ‘gift’ that we ended up charged for). This is the first time karaoke boho has ever treated me this way. My sister has been bringing me for years & we would spend hours in a private room buying drinks and snacks all for a price that wouldnt break our wallet. I genuinely believe this newer staff thought we were unaware of how Karaoke Boho works, were too drunk to notice the total or THE SIGN ON THE WALL dictating how pricing works that they were not following, or too drunk to care. This all after the microphones were NOT working in our private room and we had had to get them replaced with newer mics TWICE. Which I wouldn’t have complained about since I love them usually, but seeing as how I was able to get the staff-member to remove $50 of erroneous charges and am VERY well aware that the charging of our room was inflated, I’m going to have to mention it all.I would very much appreciate and am requesting to be contacted by the manager Lee (whom I requested the staff to call when this was all going down). Not only would I like a refund for the charges, but all this disrupt occurred after this same staff member had made inappropriate passes at me (that can absolutely be seen on the security camera). Almost as if he thought flirting with me would have me not notice the erroneous charges ? Again, this behavior is bizarre for karaoke boho to my knowledge; I will be happy to change my rating to reflect how the business handles this upset.

Karaoke bar in LES. Barebones, semi old song list with microphones that arent wireless. Service is decent but the place seems a bit run down. I wouldnt go out of my way to come here but if Im in the area and dont want to travel too far I guess its acceptable. Havent tried food here but why should I there are so many good places around this bar that has great food.

The room we got for a group of 4 was all beat up. Couches were just Cushing on wood and the walls were dirty and stained. Aside from that, great selection of music, and good deal on $20 for BYOB to drink. In other words you get what you pay for. Worth going with a for a group who isnt picky.

As a former city rat I have frequented my share of karaoke bars. This place just absolutely rocks. There are private rooms and all, but Id rather be out showing off in front of strangers. Its a good mix of people. Theres a little soapbox if you want to get dramatic. I had the food there one time too and it was good. You get a song per drink and the song tickets pile up faster than you think. Often, people just give them away. Good selection of music. Fast service. You can bribe the bartender to move your song up on the list. There is plenty of space in, on and around the bar. A ton of pens and binders so if somebody is asking you for yours, they are trying too hard to be a city kid. This is not Kansas, friends. Stop trying too hard! Either way, the bartenders know this and you get your due on time.

Late night fun! No stage here. When you buy a drink you get a karaoke song slip from the bartender. When your name comes up a bartender hands you a microphone. You stand in the crowd among a busy bar area and sing your heart out. Everyone sings along with you...From my limited experience here on my one trip, Id say this place isnt for Karaoke diehards looking to show off. Its more of a fun sing-along with a crowd of people hanging out with a bunch of drinks.Average age late night (11PM - 1AM) was probably between 25-35, but even a bit older than that should feel comfortable if youre ok with the Fri/Sat night crowd.Just try to pick fun appropriate songs... e.g. no obscure oldies or long drawn out sappy ballads.

My friend came to visit me and wanted to go somewhere on Monday. The kitchen was closed. She arrived before me, I stayed there for 10 minutes and they charged me $20($10 mine and $10 my husband) While I was there convincing her to leave. There was no one there that day.

Had a private room with friends and it was a lot of fun! It was BYOB so no idea on the price of drinks but they gave us water and ice for free. Some of their songs were broken or weird versions but the rest were on point.

My experience here was amazing here. Kristina was our bartender and she served us well. Me and my friends came for the first time and had the time of our lives.

What system do they use to bring up your song? None at all. If you and your friend put songs in at exactly the same moment, expect them to come up about an hour apart. And if you have the audacity to put in TWO songs, expect to be there till 4 am. A very nice b place, posi vibes, all that. Just not very good at the running karaoke part of the business plan.

Id like to give no stars but I cant they dont have any top shelf liquor or any name brand alcohol just house liquor which had me throwing up all day the next day terrible hang over and I only had TWO sex on the beach drinks. Good sound for the area, average price for the area, but if youre here for karaoke, good luck singing. If youre going for just a drink, go somewhere else. Youll get more space and less noise. If youre going for karaoke as an out of towner, go somewhere else. No matter how much extra time you take searching and travelling, youll sing sooner.Update: I finally got to sing for the first time an hour and a half after I put the song request in. Everyone arriving after sang before me. Not only did my unfinished beer get taken, but a remix version of a classic song was started before I even arrived on stage. Nothing enjoyable about this place.

Celebrated my birthday here over the past weekend. Prices are good and private room was decent for 7 people. Only complaint I have is all Spanish songs were skipped when selected but were in the books as available as well as the mics they had to be held a certain way so they would work. Other then that great time will most likely be back again.

Best karaoke bar in NYC, though they have been raising prices over the years. There used to be an amazing happy hour for $4pp per hour with BYOB, bring it back!

Just a typical karaoke bar with both private rooms and the bar area. Ive gone to the room area with very little problem before, but more recently tried out the bar karaoke. It can get a bit frustrating to wait for your song to show up, especially as it gets later in the night. People can push up their song for an additional $5, which sounds cheaper and cheaper when youre drunker and drunker (personally, Id rather just drink). Note that this is a cash only bar.

I had the wonderful experience at this place last weekend. I went for a private karaoke room with my friends of 15. I wasnt expecting a private karaoke space for 15 ppl at L.E.S., but they apparently have bunch of rooms in different sizes.

Its good, but they dont play all the songs that you list, and it doesnt feel nice, but at the end its understandable....a lot of people trying to be stars!

We came here for my birthday. When reserving a private room, theyll call you for a deposit. They also called the night of to reconfirm. When we arrived we were offered a tiny room that barely fit all of us. I asked for a larger room and thankfully was accommodated. The karaoke system they use is somewhat old. I dont recommend using the book, as newer songs are added in sections at the end, but rather search the directory on your phone. Overall we had a great time and staff were helpful and friendly. But I feel like the rooms were a bit dank and in much need of a refresher.

Staff was friendly. My friends and I had a great time, However, the private rooms are not wheelchair accessible which is a bummer since the entrance is great.

I love coming here for karaoke. The list of songs that they have here is absolutely amazing! SUPER updated -- they even have artists like ZHU, AlunaGeorge, etc.! Super crazy. Love it there.

Great place to karaoke! they have different sized rooms to accommodate different sized groups. BYOB and BYOF. They have a huge selection of american and foreign music as well.

Fun spot for private and public karaoke. Lots of NYU students showed up later in the evening but all in all an amazing chance to sing your heart out.

No sound proof rooms.... We could hear everything happening from the main bar area and other rooms around our room. Compared to the ktown karaoke rooms, the rooms are VERY small with bad sound systems and you have to manually look up the songs... Bad microphones and sound systems overall

This is the funnest karaoke bar I’ve ever been too. Great crowd, better bartenders, betterer drinks. I can’t believe I didn’t hear about this place sooner. Everyone needs to come here if they’re trying to have a fun karaoke night with the homies.

Fun for reserved group rooms or room at the bar to stop in and have a drink and sing something on the fly. Ive found that people who sing here are really good after Ive had a few drinks.

My go to spot for karaoke in Manhattan. If you want to sing in front of a crowd, this place got the best vibes for it (they do offer private rooms also). It is cash only so make sure you are prepared for that but the bartenders always take good care of you. Iyana will forever and always be my favorite!

Came in with a group. Fun spot to do Karaoke without having to book a room, although if it gets crowded, your requested song may be buried deep on the list. Some of the songs other people choose may be questionable and some songs you wished you brought earplugs, but the best you can do is just laugh it off. Overall a good time.

Their staff verbally assaulted our party. Casey, our waiter, was so beyond inebriated and REEKED of liquor. Do not go here unless you’re willing to take the same risk. Management is denying this happened even though there are multiple witnesses from our party. There are far better karaoke spots in the city, I recommend looking elsewhere.

I want to give this place 5 stars, because I’ve been here on nights when it was a solid 5. Star unfortunately I have also been here when it’s been a solid 1 star. The bad…cash only, the bartenders are 1 step above robots, it’s dirty in a non grunge retro cool way… The good…they have a cash machine in the corner, it’s cheap and it’s like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get…

I hate leaving bad reviews but since an extremely intoxicated employee cut us off mid-song when our time wasn’t up, yelled at us, and then followed us and had to be held back by one of his coworkers, feels justified! The upstairs area was also way too crowded (felt unsafe) and we didn’t receive a refund despite being yelled at and followed by a drunk employee..

Loud and crowded karaoke bar that is usually packed with college kids. Good luck getting in and out during peak hours because of the layout.
