Small kareoke place with a few private rooms. Drink prices are reasonable.
Youd never know it was there if you didnt see it.If you like to sing then Biny is the place for you!Huge selection of both asian and American selections. The atmosphere is a little Divey both thats part of its charm! The have a sparse selection of food qhich is pretty good! The drinks, however, I found a bit pricey.$9.00 for a Corona?!?Other than that, Love the place!
If you wanna have a good time, meet some great people, sing some random songs with some fun people, well thats the place to go. Great vibe, the bartenders are always so nice and people are not looking for drama and always welcoming featuring (if i can even use that word for some drunk karaoke). Have the whiskey green tea pitcher obviously and the fry dumplings.
A lot of fun! There werent a lot of people for a Saturday night so staff is attentive to your needs and the bartender was top notch. Public karaoke, a lot of fun with all parties getting involved.
2 years ago on new years, our subway had an emergency stop and me and my friend got off on the next exit and founded this place. We arrived just after open and the bartender made our entire night before we eventually left
Simply great! Private karaoke rooms, reasonably priced, nice staff and the main room is never too crowded!
Annoying song selection interface. It was on a touch screen in front of the main screen, so you had to keep getting up to choose songs and block everyone. On the plus side, the room rate dictated a minimum spend on food/drink, so you werent paying a separate room charge.
Its a hole in the wall place, decent sound system/mics, watered down drinks just stick to beer, the computer is on the table for you to pick your song but it is NOT user friendly. the only think i like is that you delete or move your songs around with an insert key.
Not the fanciest place but the main bar has 4 song machines so songs get rotated evenly and the drinks arent expensive. Great staff as well.
Fun place!! Great drinks, great ambiance, great drinks and super rare in this area.
Fernando, the bartender, is so great. Been here a few times over the years and it has great karaoke, drinks, and food.
My go to karaoke place. Reasonable prices and great happy hour specials. Friendly and helpful staff.
This is probably the cutest karaoke place Ive been to. I have conflicting opinions about Instagram walls, and dont love karaoke. It was okay.
Fun place with good food and drink deals. Karaoke song selection is kind of difficult, but the song list is very current.
Great open karaoke place. Nice people not de service. Good sushi and rolls. Great happy hour
Fun spot, friendly and fun staff. Private group karaoke if you want to get crazy and have fun with friends.
They have lost my credit card (gave it back to another customer!!) and have kicked us of the place while we tried to reach out to the bank to at least cancel it. The owners are so weird. Don’t go there.
Nice Karoke spot. Not too fancy in there, but good vibes on the mic and good drinks too..Just dont leave your tab open or if you do, dont be too drunk to keep accurate account, if not you might just incur extra charges for no reason..
Great Karaoke Bar with a large open area as well as private rooms. The open area shows on a giant screen and its a fun vibe. Their computer screens are also pretty easy to use and have a wide selection.
Service was pretty good, but half of the food we ordered was out. the song ordering system in the rooms is very frustrating.
Amazing experience. Nice drinks and reasonable price. Will definitely come more often.
Best karaoke place ever good customer service affordable food n drinks and great energy
This place is cool, cheap drinks fun crew! great spot to end the night.
Under the new owner, this bar has become very white people friendly...and prices reflect that fact...but the same bar manager is there..and staff is still professional...
Great, little karaoke bar! Its a little dingy but I like my bars like that.
This does not appear to be a good place from the outside but once inside its really nice bar and karaoke theater setup with a huge screen.
Great atmosphere. Nice vibe. Excellent drinks
Love it they funny there
This place was as weird and diverse as a karaoke bar should be.
This place is Amazing! And the drinks are really strong!
Company holiday party with basically no food, and an open bar that became pre-paid bar. Lame
Excellent place to chill by your self or with friends! If you come by yourself youll have a good time meeting new people naturally and comfortably. Great place for karaoke and private group singing as well! You can dance and drinks are top shelf! Meaning you can drink top shelf drinks and dance with top shelf drinks and sing away!Owner really set up the place nicely!Enjoy your time here!
Nice little hole in the wall, bring your friends or meet new friends here. 😀
Place is upbeat and fun. Staff is outgoing, in particular Fernando. He makes you feel like family! Prices are right on food and drink. Oh and those wings! My oh my those wings are the best wings I have ever had!
No frills Karaoke bar. Come here to either sing your heart out infront of everyone or get yourself a room for more privacy. Everyone here is kind and its always a fun time.
Drinks werent that strong but regular NY prices. The main room is a great place to be, especially when its empty and you can sing as much as youd like! They have a great big screen and tons of songs, both recent and older.
You cant go wrong here. The technical systems are a mess, but the staff is friendly and everyone seems happy they discovered it. Like your own secret place to sing.
Its a small place with limited seating and the chairs arent the greatest. Go with a few friends and sing your heart out. Its all good. Each participant gets 2 songs and you pass the mic to the next singer. If theirs no one next in line then its your concert. The drinks are flowing. No cover charge. No booing. The effort is appreciated here. Monumental laughs at the cost of whatever youre drinking so long as youre into karaoke. 4.5 cause of the chairs. Otherwise 5.
Went there on Sunday night. There were not too many people there and we were able to sing as many songs as we want. They dont charge to sing in the main room, which is always a plus. Amazing karaoke bar, we had so much fun.
Great Karoke rooms and friendly, helpful staff
I love this place. Im a bit biased though because I have never been to any other karaoke bars. I really love to sing and whenever I come here I feel like a star. I enjoy that the mics have the sustain on a bit.l, but they dont always work very well. The system feels a little clunky but when youre drinking and having a good time, its hardly any inconvenience.
Loved this place since day one, best friend works here😬💖
Had their Moscow mule here and was pretty good. This is a nice social place where theres an open karaoke and can play beer pong and dices! Nice atmosphere for gatherings.
Really fun spot. So much cheaper than all the k-town karaoke places too!
The vibes are good, the drinks are a little expensive, and the system that plays the karaoke picks never works properly. Even if you were up next to find some times itll just put you at the bottom of the list or skip you entirely.
A whole lot or fun this side of the Pacific. Impressive selection. Service was very attentive and the crowd was much fun.
Pretty cool! Very modern, big and pretty inside. No charge for songs but each table does have a limit.
The worst. I had a party of 13 people for my partner’s birthday but found out the day before that they were closed for renovations. Not a phone call or any kind of notice. Ruined the party plans and the night. Horrendous.
Their song selection system is unusable. I was so disappointed that it was impossible to find and select songs. They have no physical binders to browse songs for ideas and even if you know what you want to sing it’s incredibly difficult to navigate the system to find a song. We left pretty much immediately.
FAMTASTIC spot!! The bartender Fernando SO MUCH FUN and is amazing and the owner Jack is sooo wonderful!
So loud. Couldnt hear anything over the horrible karaoke, not even with people yelling directly into my ear. Left after half an hour and my ears rang the rest of the night. How do people enjoy such an environment?
We were a huge group that showed up 20 minutes before the doors opened. They let us in which we really appreciated, but the man behind the bar decided he hated us for the rest of the night. I personally thanked him for dealing with us multiple times and he was incredibly rude every time I tried to talk to him. He was nasty to any one of us that approached him. The two stars are for the woman behind the counter who was absolutely lovely. But Id rather he not have let us in than be mean to us all night. I would have taken my $800 tab elsewhere - and will definitely do so next time.
Been twice for birthday karaoke! Huge rooms, strong drinks, great crowd, attentive staff. Close to the train.
Great dive kareoke bar great staff
Karaoke is free all night with the purchase of a drink.
Dead on a Sunday which I guess is expected. Videos used for karaoke range in quality and it’s hard to follow along when there are random pauses or the video stops completely. Friendly staff. Decent priced drinks. Looks divey but I liked that.
Nice place even for an inpromptu session with a bunch of friends in the public bar area, which is very spacious. The staff was super friendly, and were very helpful when we asked for help multiple time trying to navigate the overcomplicated touchscreen song interface. Theres a $15 drink minimum and then your table can queue up to seven or so songs at a time.
A little dive barish/hole in the wall karaoke bar. The monitor for music are a little difficult to navigate at first. Staff is friendly, drinks were decent, I would definitely go again but, not as a first option.
Great place to do karaoke with friends! Only 50 dollars for a room that includes drinks for free (up to 50 dollars worth). We had 5 people in our group. There wasnt a song that we could not find which was good too.
BINY Karaoke Bar, in NYC, might be the best in New York.
Fun, casual place. Mainly just one big room that you sing in along with everyone else in the bar. Great Happy hour spot!
Eh. Its a karaoke bar so Im not sure how much I can expect from the private rooms. Its loud in there and the rooms arent totally isolated from one another. The volume controls are hidden behind a panel so staff have to change them for you. The microphones are tuned in a way that causes a lot of feedback if they get close (tough for duet songs). They have a good song selection but its hard to access things. The interface is a very strange touch screen and its not at all intuitive to get through the menu to search. And to type things theres a pretend phone texting keyboard instead of a normal keyboard on the screen. We still had fun and sang and drank once we worked out the volume and song selection interface but I cant say this was really my best karaoke experience.
Not bad. The music selection system is not the most intuitive but it works well enough. Its far from Chinatown and a little tricky to find but its nice to have a spot in that area. Close to the trains.
The drinks are strong and priced amazingly I had an extreme blast last night and will be going regularly on Tuesdays.
Its karaoke. Hilarious once youve had a few drinks. Expect to wait a while to get a sing though if you are in the main bar area. There are private booths you can hire as well. This place is open late.
Strange little place with decent beer selection, good cocktails, and a do-it-yourself karaoke system that doesnt have a lot of karaoke classics...
With all the KTVs dwindling in the Chinatown area, its nice to see Binys holding up the fort. Good drink menus, decent music choices, clean bathrooms, what more could you as for? 5 stars if they upgrade their ktv software to something more 21st century
They have the best public area Karoke setup in all of New York featuring a nice clean public area setup for a few groups of people, each with their own Karaoke station. There are private rooms as wellThe snacks e.g: Fries,Chicken Wings are pretty descent and of course for a bar/lounge, the price is on par with other bars. Its a great place to have fun especially for those of us who enjoy Karaoke. This place has been to different management so their way of doing things may be different. If youre not ordering more drinks even though you spent over $100, the manager just might kick you out.
Lovely spot for Karaoke and they make a killer whiskey sour!!!👊🏿
I was here for a friends birthday. The restaurant was king enough to let us store her surprise birthday cake in the fridge while we were having dinner. The remote controls for the karaoke were easy to use and it was nice to sit, relax and listen to the birthday girl sing her heart out to some kpop tunes. The food is good and the song selction is decent.
This place was a surprise. From the outside it looks like a dive. Once up the long staircase to the second floor, you enter a small space with a tiny bar. The room is, however, huge.It has tables along the walls and a nice large dancing and performing area. The song lyrics are displayed on a cinema sized screen, which was a major surprise. The crowd is young here, 20s to 30s, and very friendly. And they do get rowdy. The drink menu is standard and affordable, but has surprises like jager bombs, Long Island iced tea and the Wonder Wheel which contains numerous shots in a clear plexiglass ferris wheel for $80.00.The food menu is Hong Kong Chinese, so do not expect an Sichuan spicy dishes here. I highly recommend the fried pork dumplings. They come wrapped in a delicately thin, almost cellophane shell and are lightly fried. They are totally unlike the doughy, heavily fried versions in most Chinese restaurants. The lo mein here is vermicelli, not the thick noodles like other places. The surprise here is that you can order it with vegetables, chicken, fish, shrimp or, wait for it... Spam. Crazy sounding, but excellent. There are no private party rooms here. But I highly recommend it for its party atmosphere.
Very weak mics. Could hardly hear people singing
Free karaoke in the Lounge. This place gets packed sonic you want a seat GET THERE EARLY. Drinks are a bit pricey, but overall its always a fun time.
Really bad karaoke rooms, sound system is bad + the karaoke system itself is not great and quite difficult to understand. The staff was nice though.
Karaoke was hard to follow along, people acted like props, food was way to expensive. Not LGBTQ friendly. Not going back.
Food and drinks are great. Staff is a bit rude.
Great time. Private room. Lots of drinks
Hidden karaoke bar in Soho with a wide lobby karaoke area and huge screen. This place does have private karaoke rooms, but make sure your sounds settings are right because our mics were set high and it made for several headaches.
Great bar, to hang and chill with friends
Small, casual venue in Chinatown. Huge public room but the machines are confusing so it takes a while to find a song.
Im Korean, so and Karaoke place gets 5 stars
Please explain to me why you would use a T9 text entry on a touchscreen. Great staff who also seem to be confounded by the karaoke interface.
Awesome place. Seriously great.
Very comfortable place. I enjoyed.
Great if ylu love singing and cheap drinks! Friendly staff!
Does the job. Karaoke system is reminescent of Windows XP in an infuriating way.
Love the staff... love the bartender... love the wings... love love love
Friendly, Very Good Drinks & The Fries are the 💣
Great hours, terrible service and the equipment kept crashing
Great drinks and kareoke!
My favorite place to relax with friends . Take some cocktail and sing a song.
Best karaoke bar ever- try the flaming lambourgini for good times.
Favorite karaoke place in New York.
It was so cold here. Like being outside.
Great staff and amazing atmosphere !
Bar none the best karaoke joint in the city.
