Beverlys new, expanded bar and art exhibition space at 297 Grand Street in Manhattan (NY, NY 10002) is the coolest scene. Where else can you dance to the dankest DJs while viewing the world-class artworks on view in the space? The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming to all. These bartenders (mostly artists themselves) can mix you a mean drink, tell you about the art or just have a chat. Beverlys is a fruit basket of friends!

I was excited to check this place out, but it fell short of what I hoped. My drink was actually not enjoyable, the cozy ambiance in the back is tainted by its proximity to the bathroom, and the foot rest on the bar was falling apart. It has potential to be a cool spot, but feels like they need more attention to detail.

Friendly, eclectic and low key. Ever seen a sculpture of a tin garbage can that emits a hookah-like mist?

Chill, unprentious spot on LES/Chinatown border. Tight quarters but fun crowd.

Cool bar w a very casual vibe and awesome live music. A little more club feeling than a regular bar but not posh at all.

Awesome place in Lower East Side, great mixed drinks and live DJs with bumping dance tunes. Love the lighting and setup.

I went in on a Sunday night with my friend and we were both delighted by the DJ set and energetic atmosphere. The bartender Mason was so friendly and our cocktails were just divine. This bar is truly a gem and I will be coming much more often.

The place is packed, good for them. Its still hard to order a drink or get to the bathroom, or do anything. I dont want to give them one star, but being there is so frustrating that I have to. They dont know how to use the space. I hope they get a new spot

Ultra-hip spot for young artsy types. The music is loud (but good); prepare to get hoarse if you want to have a conversation. The drinks are good, and the service is friendly, but as an early-thirtysomething, I felt a little long in the tooth for this place. The bar is really narrow and gets pretty intensely crowded, so youre going to have to touch many people a lot more than youd like if you hope to get to the bathroom. If young, artsy, and loud sounds like your scene, it is a great option, but if youre looking for a more chill place to drink and chat, probably less so.

The mixed drinks are relatively cheap (and strong), the vibe is chic, and everyones friendly. Highly recommended as a LES local

Cozy fun bar- especially when Oli is dj-ing!

Staff is nice but it’s too tight of a space and the crowd is lame. The music is so so but there’s no room to dance and no one there can, or is too embarrassed to.
