Bar Bastion

Bar Bastion has best bartender in New York, and Ive sat in front of a few. The cocktails she makes are so balanced, bespoke and memorable its going to be difficult to be impressed by cocktails anywhere else. Youve got to hunt for WOW interiors in the sea of options in midtown, and if you end up here you found the WOW. I had the best time.

I got the side car cocktail which was delicious. It was on the sweeter side but still very light and citrusy. The service was a little slow but they seemed quite busy so I understand. The ambiance is so cute, I loved how aesthetic the bar was. Would definitely return.

Wanted to give this a try as it recently opened - but the bar seems incapable of honouring a reservation. Table was not ready 15 min after the reservation time so we left.Atmosphere is basic - looks like a poorly designed, overly brightly lit hotel lobby. Plenty of better options around.

Enjoyed the mezcal watermelon cocktail, which was so refreshing and well made. Enrique really knows how to make a great cocktail, and him and his colleague Leah made us feel so welcome and comfortable. This is the perfect bar for a catch up with a friend, a date night, and even a great place to bring an important client. We did not get a chance to eat here, but the cocktails and atmosphere was great. They do close around 10pm, so just make sure to plan accordingly

Came for a post-work cocktail with a friend. love the space & vibe. bit pricey but the place is very classy/bougie in a good way

I had a lovely evening at Bar Bastion. The atmosphere, the small plates offered, and drinks were amazing. Rachel made me the best lemon drop martini I have ever had.

Bar Bastion is a lovely lounge with fantastic classic NY atmosphere. The cocktails and apps are delicious and decadent. Our server was Alejandro and he was wonderful and super attentive to our group. Looking forward to visiting again very soon!

Horrible experience. I hate this place. I got diarrhea after having food there.

A bar made for memorable conversations. It’s cozy bc of the couches and booths but it’s also upscale bc of the grand windows and high ceilings. You feel like you’re at a private venue.

Great bar in midtown.

Can’t fault them for not being open on Christmas day but should have taken down their reservation slots. Reserved a table two days prior accepted and confirmed online. Show up and they were not open. Was credit card to reserve and fee for no shows- assuming i won’t get charged…

Atmosphere would have been nice but the staff was unable to get the temperature of the hall right so everyone was cold. Furthermore the kitchen was behind on making a chease platter…. And the place was not busy.

Never open. Tried a number of times but doesn’t seem to do any business

Loved this place. Definitely going back! The atmosphere was beautiful and the cocktails were sublime. The attention to detail on the cocktail was chef’s kiss.

Lovely bar. Incredible drinks.
