The photos of the restaurant dont fully capture how small the space is, but the decor is absolutely stunning. While the seating could be more comfortable, the food more than makes up for it with its exceptional taste. The service was both quick and friendly.
Delicious food with great lunch specials. At first you think theyre small but its more than enough, and they taste great as leftovers the next day. The chicken dumpling and skewers were amazing, a must try. Small spot so give yourself plenty of time to wait if theyre busy
This is my favorite place for delicious Thai food and great happy hour deals (like $9 lychee martinis all night). The lunch special is fantastic as well. We love the food so much that weve even had it catered! The staff is always friendly, and the decor is beautiful inside.
PHENOMENAL!! Really could not recommend this place more. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was amazing. I asked them to make it spicy and it was the perfect amount. We got the dumplings, Tom Kha soup, the spicy basil fried rice, and the pad Thai. All 10/10. Fresh, hot, and delicious.
Great lunch spot for Thai food. Panang curry was good (a bit too spicy and runny) - the duck was fabulous. Overall very solid and fast service. Thai iced tea is also delicious.
Amazing drinks! Requested Lemon Drop martinis 10/10. Pad thai was good and filling just a tad bit too sweet. Place gets full quickly but the atmosphere nonetheless is amazing. Staff is friendly.
This is my second time here. The first time I went with only one person and there was no wait. Much better experience than the second time. I called to reserve my group and when we got there they weren’t even ready. Even though the rest of the group didn’t all come in with me, we ended up waiting nearly 30 min for our reserved table. I understand it’s a small place, but it was a bit annoying to feel rushed especially after having to wait for our table. The server messed up our order and quickly replaced it. We didn’t have individual checks, but put cards with different amounts. Somehow, they managed to put the entire bill on my card and charge the other people I was with as well. I left them a message the same night and received a text message a few days after saying they made a mistake. I had already disputed this charge with my card. I’m really disappointed having been here before and had a better experience. I’m not sure they’re able to handle groups of people. The food is good and the drinks are strong. The decor is festive all year. I just wish they had better service.
Overall dinner experience was positive. Liked the food, ambience and drinks. Service was quick and efficient. For reservations, I recommend doing it online as calling the restaurant wasnt helpful.
I have been enJOYing the Delicious food and decor at @Nine for years. The Lunch Specials are affordable, filling and Authentic. While @Nine closes from 4-5pm for cleaning and Staff meals, a 3pm reservation gives you plenty of time to partake of their epicurean delights. There new Lunch Special menu includes a succulent Pork Chop with crispy Fries and a Salad, I know not very Thai but delicious all the same
Omg, you need to go to this place. Food is delicious, the place is wonderful, so you can have great pictures for Instagram. The presentation of the food is wonderful. In addition the service is the cherry on the cake. They have a lunch special from 11 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. the prices is crazy, you are going to love it!
The service, the hospitality, and the food were spectacular! Small complaint (me being slightly picky) but the chicken sate was dry - otherwise everything was amazing! The papaya salad has a spice to it and the panang tofu is good for those who like milder dishes. The Chicken drunken noodle was perfectly spiced but not spicy. The staff was quick and kind. There was quite a crowd but we didn’t feel like there were excessive wait times.Food Quality: 5/5Hospitality: 5/5Ambiance: 4/5 - dirty bathrooms but a great usage of the dining space, beautiful decorationsPortion sizes: 5/5
The food was delicious and prices were typical for Manhattan. The dining experience was dark and kind of tight but the food was out fast and still hot, not greasy, spring rolls were crisp and the plate of pineapple rice was full. The drinks were tasty with just enough alcohol in the margarita.
Pros: delicious food, great quick service , nice presentation of food and restaurant decor, affordable drinks!Cons: parking was very hard to find. This place was cozy & delicious! We had the shrimp dumpling appetizer, I had drunken noodles with broccoli added, and my friend had Kua Kai with shrimp. Drinks and food were great! I would def return !!!
Quickly seated and served in this hip, cozy little restaurant. Food was brought out within minutes of ordering (almost TOO fast) and was a reasonable portion and tasty. Nothing marked as spicy was hot at all so definitely ask for spicier than you normally would. Staff was attentive. Disappointed no free hot tea but guess that just isnt to be in NYC. Overall it had a nice atmosphere and good food, even if not particularly memorable.
Absolutely fell in love with this place! Such a cute Thai spot in NYC close to Time Square!!! Loved the festive decor of this place. Came here on a Saturday night and it was packed. The host was able to accommodate us and we were promptly seated. We had started with crispy spring rolls and they were gone within seconds. So so good. The Tom yum soup was what I needed on a cold Saturday night, so flavorful and comforting. The vegetable dumpling dipped in coconut curry is a must try. The red curry was delicious and tasted amazing with the white rice. The spicy pad kee mao was also splendid. Can’t find anything wrong with the dishes, each of them were competing with each other.Check out At Nine, this is a great place for GNO or date night. Food, Service, and Vibe is a 10/10. Highly Recommend!
Fun place for dinner and cocktails. Nice variety of Asian food, great atmosphere. Not a lot of seating inside, but they take reservations. Great option for dinner especially if you’re around Times Square.
I really like the vibe of this place! Walked in without reservations. We took advantage of their happy hour drinks and ordered the calamares. Both the drinks and food were delicious. Its a nice spot to dine and catch up with friends. I would definitely recommend it and will definitely be back!
Cute place. Had the pad see ew and the curry noodle soup. Enjoyed both. The curry soup could’ve been hotter as it was warm. Overall, good place.
As good as it gets fot Thai food in New York. The Khao Soi was very tasty, maybe not quite what you get in Chiang Mai bit close enough to fully enjoy. The place is small but spacing adequate for the price. Good service and was nicely decorated for Christmas.
Nice cozy restaurant, very small but well organized. The interior is kind of old -fashioned but looks cute. Food was delicious and portions were big.
Small place with great interiors! I liked the ambiance. We had Crab Rangoon, Steamed Dumplings for appetizer, it was so good. For main course we had Pad Hau Neung Kai, Red Curry, Spicy Pad Kee Mao and it was delicious 😋Staff is friendly and quick!
Hair in the food. We asked for a new plate but they refried the same dish and gave it to us. Chicken was yellow when it should be white. Thai iced tea good tho
The dining room is quaint and cozy with a relaxed atmosphere. The dumplings were a delicious starter. For a main course, the Lava Chicken was amazing with a beautiful presentation, brought to the table on fire. Service was also fantastic!
Outstanding! Arrived without a reservation and did not have to wait to be seated. The lychee martini was amazing and the Chicken Lava and Pad Thai were both the best we have had. Highly recommend.
Solid Thai food that had enough spice to burn your mouth but still be delicious. We had the Kow Soi and Red Curry that both were amazing and the staff was super friendly and welcoming.. went on a Wednesday night and didn’t have to wait to be seated
Great place cute decor, great ambiance loved the food and the service. Wish I dined in!!I got the spicy pad udon in the vegetarian section and it was amazing.
We went for lunch and the restaurant has a nice selection for lunch set menu for 15 or 16$ (small appetizer- entree and a drink) . Very tasty. We would recommend this place.
As a tourist, you hope to find a local little spot with reasonably priced food and alcohol. This is the place!! Happy Hour $9 drinks (which is cheap in NYC apparently), we were SO happy to find @9. 5 drinks, 3 apps and an entree for a total of $103 bucks, not bad!!Great staff, food, drinks and prices! Now, open one in Virginia Beach for me :)
The peanut dumplings are fantastic. The tom yum soup and the noodles were very good. Nice atmosphere. Great service.
First time trying Thai food and this place was amazing! We were easily seated on a Saturday night. The place was small but beautiful. Tables are very close together but that didn’t really bother us. Service was good too and the happy hour drinks were a plus as well.
This was my first time visiting the restaurant and I could honestly say that the food was really great. I had the shrimp dumplings with a side of coconut rice-- perfect match together. Even though the place would only seat like 15-20 people-- The decor was colorful, very relaxing ambiance and the music played was hip. I have no complains. I would go again for sure.
Definitely enjoyed the beautiful interior/decor and the lunch special (they also have happy hour)! You get a lot for $13. To be seated you have to show vaccination card and ID, but once you’re in there the staff is extremely friendly and allow you time to enjoy you’re meal and hang out.
I enjoyed the ambiance upon my arrival . I walked towards the back, to the counter , to be greeted by the hostess . After choosing my table my server arrived about 5 mins later to ask me for my order. I ordered spicy flat noodles with seafood mix ( shrimp, squid and mussle) I opted for no squid and no egg to be added . Happy hour is served all day so I ordered a cosmopolitan. My drink was made strong 😁. Food was prepared and delivered under 8 mins.
Amazing ambience!Great food! had Thai green curry with shrimp; it wasnt as spicy as i expected, but i liked it. Maybe, l should have asked them to make it spicier than usual.. it was mildly spicy (for an Indian guys taste buds).
I wanted to like this but the food made me very ill afterwards so I cannot in good conscience recommend this. I didnt think the taste was great but I wouldnt have bothered leaving a review if it wasnt for the awful stomach ache (and more) I experienced about twenty minutes after leaving the establishment. (I hadnt eaten or drunk anything in the meantime.) Shame because it seemed like a fair lunch deal; alas.
Me and my wife ate at this establishment to celebrate our proposal anniversary. This was absolutely amazing. Our food came within 10 minutes. I had the Thai fried rice with chicken and the pineapple juice. It was absolutely amazing. Great service, great food definitely visit this restaurant.
My FAVORITE spot for thai food on NYC. It is always good to comeback and enjoy several dishes.... Great menu great staff and great service 1000% recommended! The prices are excellent
Great place. The staff is super friendly and even got a drink on the house. This is my local dive. I totally recommend this place. The food is not too spicy so you can enjoy it :)
Intimated, sleek yet casual. Cosy small setting in Midtown. Lava Chicken was sweet and spicy at the same time, great mix of flavors. The Kow mun Kai tod was even better though with its scrumptious chicken
The place looks amazing! I love the chandeliers, mirrors, blossoms and nein butterflies!Has vegan options. I had a vegan Pad See Ew and it was amazing! It also offers non-alcoholic drinks. The strawberry virgin mojito was delicious. The staff was nice and friendly. I will definitely go back.
Ordered the papaya salad which was really nice , also had the pineapple fried rice which which was okay. The ambience was the highlight !
$6 lychee martinis all hours, delicious and authentic Thai food, super cool decor, and the nicest staff in NYC. This is a favorite of mine and has never once disappointed. The spicy Pad Udon is annoyingly good and their Panang Curry is bangin’! Love this place!
The seating is limited.Food is absolutely fantastic!Pad Thai is so delicious and comes out perfect and hot!Inside atmosphere is beyond amazing with such beautiful design.Staffs are amazing!
Not sure why this place has anything below a 5 star. The staff is courteous and attentive. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were strong. The ambiance is inviting and music is eclectic. The tables are small but the swiftness of the servers help with that challenge. Overall 10/10 for me.
Quickly seated and served. Its a cozy restaurant.I think it small but easy for us to find. From asian, Food was good, have a mark to know which spicy . Nice atmosphere
Our server, Austin, was great! Went there last Tuesday for dinner around 7~PM and everything was spot on. They did a great job of describing the menu to my friend, and the food and cocktails didn’t take long at all to come out. The Massaman curry and the Fish Pad-Cha are insanely good! Been here a few times already, but they’ll be seeing more of me for sure.
The atmosphere was so appealing and the food was delicious 😋 drinks left much to be desired, but I would 100% come back for food.
Amazing food and great service! Best Thai food Ive had in a while. Small restaurant that is now fully open. Good menu with some original dishes but also your favorite classics. Full bar available.
Great food and service. Place was A bit small but overall tasty food and good drinks!
In my recent trip to NYC with my family (5 people), we had lunch and dinner few times in this place as the food is quite nice with reasonable prices. However, we had issue with one of the Thai staffs, a skinny tall guy in charge for taking order and cashier, he is very rude and nasty, whereas the other staffs are fine. If I were the owner of that restaurant, will definitely fire that guy ! one more thing, I left my sunglasses there on the day we met that rude guy and never found it ! So beware dont ever leave your belongings there.
Their happy hour deal is pretty good and food is good. I like the atmosphere and do order at times their lunch special (appetizer and main for around 9ish). Friendly staff as well. The space is small so it is usually good for a party of 2-4ppl
Small restaurant with quirky decoration. Really friendly staff, good choice of food. Food came out quickly, plenty of it and delicious. Highly recommended.Phone ahead & book as it got full very quickly.
I’ve been coming here for over five years. It’s my lil safe haven for solo dates and occasionally will bring a friend with me. The decor is always so beautiful and dreamy. The drinks are amazing and super affordable, especially in the area. Cosmos, wine, and margaritas are my go to but they also have beer and other spirits. Food is bomb! I always get spring rolls or shrimp rolls to start, and when I first started coming here years ago my regular was the Lava Chicken. If you live for social media and enjoy a good presentation, that’s a great option. But lately I stick to the pad Thai, Thai fried rice with salmon or shrimp and chicken. Even the tofu is good. The restaurant is a tiny spot but it’s great! I miss the days where you could sit at the bar. I sometimes wish they would set the table with more than one napkin and fork but if you need more napkins, they’ll provide you with some.
Nine dumplings were amazing. Crab Rangoon was delicious. This place is truly a gem. My favorite Thai restaurant. Chic and glamorous. I’ve brought my friends here and they all love the vibes. Thank you to the wonderful staff.
Great place to visit! i was visiting NYC to celebrate my 21st and came to this restaurant with my parents & it was amazing!!austin greeted us at the door & we luckily got a table (it was a small venue) we were then served by kimberley who was really lovely too. we had drinks during happy hour which were great (pictured is a pineapple martini & strawberry martini) and the food came out within 10-15minutes of ordering. it was very fresh, super flavoursome and all over ace!!would 100% recommend if you’re in the area but be aware that seating is limited so you may have to wait a short amout of time for a table…it’s worth it though!🫶🏼
Found this restaurant just googling what was in walking distance and selected it due to the decor. Small, but we got in with no wait. The food was delicious-(especially the dumplings which I have never eaten anything similar to their recipe). Plenty of vegetarian options. When you request Thai hot, they definitely listen and make the dish SPICY.
Met up my friend here, small cozy spot. When I first arrived the doorway was closed off by a desk. Because of the space, Im guessing its to control the crowd that comes in? We came here for the happy hour they had going on after work. The decor here is definitely cute! My drinks were on point! The food was amazing as well. I loved my dish.
Service was great food was flavored
This is a great small restaurant! You may have to wait a little bit to get seated when its busy, but its worth the wait. Its great food with great service and a very nice atmosphere! Weve gone a few times and always had a good experience
This cute little place is conveniently located by Time Square and flatiron. The space is funky and classy with limited seating when busy.Food is excellent and the service is friendly and efficient. The happy hours drinks are a bit weak but overall, a pleasant experience. We loved the duck curry.
Take-out Massanan curry was fine.Ambience was okay.Workers were okay, not very friendly, not rude either. Therefore 3 stars. If I’d be in the area and crave Thai food I’d consider going if it’s convenient but I wouldn’t necessarily plan to go back.
Best Thai Restaurant we have visited on the East Coast and one of the best outside of Thailand.Very authentic, nice choice of different dishes and plenty to choose from. We visited twice during our 5 night stay in town and will come back. Not many seats so book early. Many greeting from Germany
This Thai restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere & was greeted & seated while it was busy. Gone to eat with my best friend. The food & Margaritas was delicious. Our server was wonderful. It was very busy and she and the staff handled every customer with patience & kindness. Thank you so much! Will definitely return & highly recommended this Thai Restaurant! Happy Eating everyone! Cheers!
Great food and even though the portion seems small, its just enough!
Food and service were both really good here, lots of vegan and gluten free options, the restaurant albeit small is beautiful! Would recommend.
I always make it my mission to stop here when Im back in the area! Good Thai food and drinks.
Food was mediocre and not fresh. Atmosphere is nice, though.
The place was aesthetically pleasing and the waiters were very attentive. Food came really fast and tasted great.
Hands down the best authentic Thai food in New York City! Great decor, amazing service, fresh, delicious, original dishes! I spend my winters in Thailand and I’m very picky about where I eat Thai food in America and this restaurant absolutely is the real deal!! Tons of vegetarian options and even my aunt who has celiac was able to find things with no problem at all! The manager/server Boston was wonderful and catered to us as if we were the only guests in the place! Friendly kitchen staff that serves the food made to order delivered right to the table piping hot! 100% recommend and is now my go to place for Thai in the city! ขอบคุณ Kha! 🙏🙌
This funky intimate spot is serving all the Thai Classics with few delicious curve balls. This tight dining room is ready for its close up so have your phones ready. From the dark walls and ceiling to the many crystal chandeliers and the storm cloud ceiling decor At 9 is waiting for Instagram fame.Service was fast but attentive.Dinner highlights included 9 Dumplings. A mix of minced peanuts and turnips. It sounds deranged but its so yummy. Lava Chicken was served and set ablaze at the table. It was not only fun but a zesty sweet and sour delight. The Shrimp Sate entre included a generous number of good size shrimp with fresh veggies and a thick crunchy sate peanut sauce. At 9 is clearly a neighborhood gem. Based on the full dining room that promptly filled before 6pm and remained full at 10pm when I past again on my way home on a mild Thursday night. Plan your visit accordingly.
Absolutely delicious Thai food in this small but very cute restaurant. Will be going back again just for the spring rolls!
Great place for lunch. Awesome food with complementary iced tea and appitizer. Will visit again.
Average Thai food. Not bad but not amazing, good for the area though! Small place.
This place is so cute and cozy. They have barriers in between the tables for protection, and everything is nicely spaced even though the restaurant is small. The food is delicious, and the drinks were good. The servers were attentive and kind. The ambiance was great, and they played the best R&B and pop from the late 90s, which was perfect! I will definitely go back again.
So 1st this place is really small however the decor and food is really good. We got the food pretty fast. Loved the veggie and the shrimp spring rolls. Fried chicken was really good. Udon was good . Will definitely go again. I had the oops cocktail it was good as well. And its not that expensive neither. Nice date spot for sure.
@Nine has the best Thai food in Manhattan. The ambiance of the restaurant was unique, and the service was excellent.
The food was tasty and I had enough to be full and take some home. I would come back to try other dishes. The staff were friendly. It felt cramped and tight inside though. The space was small.
Small place with a nice atmosphere…food was delicious.
My friends and I stopped in to hopefully grab some drinks, as one of my friends has said they recommend this spot. We walked in, and nobody acknowledged us for a bit, until I was greeted by a server with a simple “Hello…” I politely asked, “Hello, do we just sit anywhere?” as some restaurants just let you pick wherever to sit and he hadn’t given me any further instruction. The server rudely and pointedly responded with, “No. Do you have a reservation?” I responded with “No,” and after a minute or two after he disappeared for a bit, and we were sat. After about another 7 or so minutes, he returned to take our order.Nowhere did we see that we had to order food to be served here, and that we couldn’t just do drinks. Right when we were about to order drinks, I think he could tell we were only doing drinks, and so he interrupted us and said, “Sorry, you have to order food and drinks, we cannot do drinks only.” Or something to that effect. Okay, totally understandable, but had we communicated more before we sat down or at least knew the kind of “restaurant and bar” they are, we definitely would not have sat down. So we got up and left because clearly we would not be served. It’s a shame because the food does seem good according to my friend. Maybe one day we will stop in to try their food, but it was just a very odd experience there this time.
I just moved to NYC and this has been my favorite spot yet. The place is small but it is super cute. No reservations required but it can get crowded. It was just me so I was able to be seating in about 10/15 minutes. I had the Cosmo and Pineapple Margarita for ONLY $7 each. They were both delicious and did what I needed them to do. I was there more for the drinks but you are require to order a food item as all the restaurants in Manhattan so I got the spring rolls. As far as spring rolls go, these were def the best I’ve had. And the presentation of everything was so cute and professional. Oh, and the service was good. 5stars all around.
Found this place with a friend, now I take everyone I know here because it’s affordable, yummy, and has great customer service!!
It’s a small cozy restaurant with a very lovely instagrammable interior. It would make a nice dating place. It is not wheel chair accessible though. The food was absolutely delicious. Loved their pad thai and tom yum soup. The serving size is just about right. If you eat well, you can finish it all by yourself. Reservation is preferred but walk ins are welcome if they can accommodate. I’ll still give them 5 stars even if they don’t have desserts.
Best red and green curry we have ever had. Pineapple fried rice was also outstanding. Party of 4 and everyone absolutely loved their food!
It was a really good experience to ate at this restaurant, I enjoyed it so much. I definitely have to come back. The Thai food was amazing! I had the Lava chicken and I got a flamed chicken in front of me, it was really tasty, but it had a lot alcohol on it, so be careful. The servers were really nice and kind, and the place was clean and neat. PD: they have happy hour all night: $8 margaritas, martinis, etc.
Loved the food, but where is the dessert? Surprised they don’t have them. Small and very chic place. We enjoyed our meal
The best happy hour and staff in town. Great food and the best martini I ever had. Keep up your great work and hospitality!
Had a long day and wanted to have a Thai spree. Order 4 dishes for pickup for myself. I am a huge green curry fan. And unfortunately, I gotta admit I had the worst green curry from here. The coconut milk and other ingredients in the Curry were not blended well with a proper ratio. Totally Sad about the green curry but other dishes like Pad Thai, Satai, and rice dish (forgot the name) were fine.
Server ignored me for lunch service and when he finally noticed me he addressed the delivery driver behind me instead. I walked out. Pretty clear what the priority is
Delicious and good portions.
Average Thai restaurant, the food was good but not the best Ive tried. The interior of the restaurant was nice. There were chandler and pretty mirrors. However, the restaurant was also very tight and dim. It was hard to take pictures. I wouldve like it better if it was a little brighter.I had the Khao Soy noodle. The dish came the crispy noodles on top and a lime and onions inside. The onion slices inside the dish was fairly large, expected that to be smaller. Flavour wise, the curry was pretty good, a little spicier than other kow Soy Ive tried. The curry also mixes nice with rice. Add a rice on the side for $1.99.As for service, it wasnt that great. The server was very inattentive. The server never brought us a menu until we asked and barely came around when the food was served.Overall, decent place but seating was very tight.
Great menu options, Awesome drink selection, and Amazing Service. Loved the Lava Chicken!
The restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious. Im giving it a 4 star only because my glass cup had someone lipstick on it, my first cosmopolitan drink was distasteful. The waiter was not attentive to us at all. I had to flag her multiple times for the basic necessities of a table. One of my parties decided not to leave the suggested tip when a different waiter approached our table demanding her more tip. This behavior was inappropriate when tip was left even after the displeasing moments just not the suggested
Had a great experience in this Hells Kitchen neighborhood Thai restaurant. Especially enjoyed the drinks at happy hour and their flat noodles. Service was good and atmosphere cozy and warm. Prices are reasonable. Lots of competition in this area for Thai and still they stood out which says a lot. Recommended
Came here for lunch on a Friday and had to wait over 20 minutes to order AFTER being seated. The decor is cool but service sucks
Reserved a table for 6 on a weekend night over a call and they asked to come in half an hour. Got the table 15 minutes later than the mentioned time. The decor and food here is great. Got the chicken spicy basil fried rice and panang curry (gave panang curry instead of red curry). Both tasted great though.
Welcomed in with no reservation, they was reasonably busy but had space for me and my wife.Friendly staff.Small little restaurant, clean and tidyFood was reasonably priced, it arrived quickly from ordering and was extremely well presented and very tasty. We both had a cosmopolitan beverage as it was during happy hour, it was nice and it was strong 😁We wasnt pressured or rushed with our meals and we felt at ease all night. They were full up by the time we left (about 1 hr).We would definitely recommend this place if your in the area.
Quaint restaurant perfect for a pre-show meal and drinks.
Stop by for early dinner and it was great. Delicious food and good prices in Manhattan. Also the decoration so beautiful…
The city of New York has a culinary offer for everyone. This restaurant has one of the best Thai cuisines in the city. It is small, cozy with a good bar and excellent service, but above all its food is spectacular.
Great good, quick service and lovely atmosphere. We loved everything we ordered, especially beef salad ( Beef namtok ) @9 dumplings Yum talayKow soi kai How Neung Kai and green curry.I would recommend this place for overall mood of the place and the good quality of the foodI wold definitely come here again
This was from 2 years ago. At Nine Restaurant & Bar was a fanciful Thai restaurant marked by a giant glowing #9. The decor was ornate and creative with spectacular chandeliers and free gaming branches of faux-cherry blossom branches. It gave the space a dream-like orchard feel. With only space for approximately 25 people, we patiently waited for them to call us on our phone for our table. On Fridays they don’t accept call ahead reservations. The cocktail menu like the seating space was limited, but what we ordered was fruity, strong and satisfying. We ordered the Hello Kitty and Oops, both were a delight. The Oops we had to order twice we enjoyed it so much. For starters, we ordered Calamari and the @9 Dumplings. The calamari was traditional and didn’t disappoint with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce. The dumplings tasted like Sate sauce as a filling and we couldn’t get enough. We also ordered a second order of the dumplings.Unlike the cocktail menu the entree menu was robust. We ordered the Pad Ka-Prow w/ Shrimp and the Red Curry w/ Duck. The Duck was crispy and the Red Curry was bountiful. Plenty of sauce to ask for extra rice to soak it up for rice lovers. The Pad Ka-Prow had a generous amount of Shrimp with the tails still on. The sauce was delicious, but we would have liked more sauce. We were only able to use quarter the rice provided, but in our case, it worked out because the Red Curry begged for extra rice. We were in a party of four, ordered 7 drinks, three starters, three entrees (we didn’t try the third entree) and the total only came to $170. Great value for Manhattan.
I dine at this restaurant on 7/27/22. I had the shrimp preaw pan. I bit into my shrimp and noticed that the intestinal tract was still attached. I immediately called a waiter over to verify what I was seeking. I asked the waiter what that looked like to him and he said the intestinal tract of the shrimp. I told him to inform the chef he needs and should clean his seafood. I will not be eating here again.
Good portions and nice presentations but my food was too salty and savory so I couldnt finish it. My husbands was fine though. The Thai iced tea was really good. Ask to get it with coconut milk!
This is the cutest place!! food is amazing and our server Austin was the best!such a cool spot! Highly recommend.
I work at mini…so here is my go 2 restaurant for Thai food…they have the best drunken noodles and Thai ice tea. Food are so deliciousTracey🙂
Spicy udon noodles were fantastic. The lunch deal is really good.
Bad ,plain tomato with mushroom in tom yum googn soup , average spicy pad kee mao - not coming back
Cool vibes and decent food for a great price point. The servers seemed grumpy and in a rush to clear us out, which kind of ruined our time there. Would recommend the lunch specials that come with a starter. Most
Small, quite, and comfortable atmosphere. If you want to escape the city noise and crowd and looking for a quick bite with variety then @9 is the place. They seat about 28 people max, indoors, so it won’t be crowded.
My husband enjoyed his mussels with pineapple. I had the pad Thai which was a nice large portion. We were seated at the back of the restaurant near the bar and I could smell all the food being cooked.
Overall good tasting, but they didnt ask for the spice level on my curry and soup.. ( my food came in spicier than what I would have liked, maybe they have a standard spice level, youll have to check with the server)... overall portioning was smaller than most of the thai restaurants ived been to. The pinneaple fried was was pretty good . And you cant go wrong with thai iced tea...Overall a good 4 stars.
This place has gone downhill serving the Time Square tourists, the curry was terrible tasted like bunch of cumin, papaya salad was tasteless and bland, even the white rice was all bunched up. They had really good lunch specials back 4 years ago now at exorbitant prices its not even good tasting food, not worth anyones time. Part of me is thinking this place changed owners, to one that has no culinary taste of what real thai food tastes like whatsoever. I used to order food from here 4 days a week, now I want to cross the street when I see the sign.
Lovely food, cool atmosphere and really friendly staff - defo worth a visit if looking for a decent Thai meal
The most amazing Pad Thai that I have had hands down! It was served so well and also the service was quick, and the appetizer was also amazing! 10/10 recommendation and the price was nice!
This Thai restaurant is so delicious ! The basil fried rice with chicken is incredible! The tom yum soup is also really good. You can find an extensive selection of Thai food here. The decoration is in an elegant style but the price is really reasonable. I will definitely come back.
Great Thai place on ninth avenue. The ambiance is excellent, the good is very tasty and they give very large portions, try the spring rolls, they do a very good job made from scratch, they also have great drink specials. The only reason it doesnt get 5 starts is the crowd. Lots of people who dont really match the feel for the restaurant, it might be becuase its so close to the port authority and you have lots of tourists. Which is fine, but I dont want to go for a nice meal while the person sitting next to me has their rolling suite cases cluttering the place. I would recomend for a nice lunch or an early dinner, and despite the ambiance being great, the place is neither fancy nor cozy.
The BEST beef pad see ew I’ve ever had. The spring rolls are also amazing. Ordered them in so many times! Haven’t been able to find a Thai restaurant that can beat this food!
Fast seating and service. Great lunch specials, a lot of variety in the food menu. I had the Massaman curry with shrimp and it was the perfect portion, and tasty! Very cute on the outside and extremely elegant vibe indoors. They are practicing every possible covid safety guideline, with brightly-colored plastic squares between each table, which, in most restaurants Ive seen, those barriers were clear and just an eyesore! Not here, here the barriers added a cool, modern touch to their classic, elegant atmosphere. They are also alternating seating to maintain social distance, as well as bringing guests a clean playe with napkins and utensils individually wrapped in plastic. The cocktails could use improvement but that is all.
Love the food. If you are looking for an authentic Thai food this is the place to go. Fast service and super friendly staff. Food was as delicious as it can be. Pad Thai and spicy basil fried rice was delicious 😋. Great little spot for a date.
Lovely little place, nice atmosphere. Chilled music, nicely lit, ideal for couples are parties. Intimate lighting. We were welcomed lovely, drinks were nice, most drinks are $9 and under. A beer was $7 coke $3, very reasonable. Lovely staff nice place will definitely be back. We didn’t have food unfortunately but from what we saw and the reaction of other customers, all was good :-)
Good service. Food was served quickly. Drinks and food were delish! This restaurant is a little tight so be prepared to be in very close proximity to others.
I loved their vibe. The food and drinks were good as well.*They have a good happy hour drink menu
Love love love their lychee martinis and their seasonally changing interior decorations.Waiters have always been super friendly.
The food was good. The wine was good. Not good was the waiter spilling a glass of red wine all over my partner, destroying his shirt and forcing an emergency visit to the dry cleaners, to take care of a sport coat that was also splattered with it. Accidents happen; in this case, the staff seemed ill-prepared as to what to do and how to respond. We are still awaiting a resolution to this situation.
Food - Tasty & great options. Tried the Crab Rangoon for the first time & was blown away! Also steamed chicken dumplings are good. Drunken noodles, red curry & pad nyeung kai are worth trying as well.Ambience- BeautifulService- Fast & friendly staff
It used to be a great restaurant. Unfortunately not anymore. It stopped carrying beef. Don’t know why. Maybe the owner switched from Buddhism to Hindu? And they put a counter to block the entrance all the time makes you feel unwelcome.
Nice stop kinda near the Port Authority.Cute interior. Extensive food menu.
Everything was great! My panang was bursting with flavor and delicious. Cozy and quaint- highly recommend
Amazing Thai and great ambiance! Ordered two wok dishes: one basil stir fry with beef, the other cashew stir fry with chicken both medium spicy. Both had amazing flavor, high quality tender meats, and fresh vegetables. This was one of the best thai meals Ive had! The price was very reasonable. Great service as well. Highly recommend!
Neighborhood thai restaurant reasonably price with a great lunch menu. Take out and delivery is available.Small space with quirky.deco, service can be a bit dismissive at tumes.Good place if youre on s budget or looking for cheap cocktails.
Fun place. Tight space however. Also the staff seem frustrated you’re there it’s not exactly welcoming. The atmosphere is great and the food is good just overpriced for thai even in New York.
Excellent fast service and delicious authentic Thai food! Fresh ingredients and no watered down flavor. They didn’t skimp on the booze either. Loved it!
Two very different people told me to check this place out and its one of their favorite places in Hells Kitchen. Its under $10 and has great seating. This thai restaurant is great! Lovely food, my chicken pad thai came on a spring roll wrapper and the restaurant itself has a great ambiance and is cozy. The pad thai was sweeter than Im used to. I left my bag, called them, and the next day the waiter was happy to give it back to me.
Stumbled across this gem via Grubhub. Ever since then its been my favorite thai restaurant to go to. Their lunch specials are amazing and a great bargain. Their shrimp pad thai is one of the best Ive had in years! The staff is super courteous and attentive. Nice decor and great drinks for a regular night out also.
The food a d the portion was good. Taste great. And really nice place go eat. The only thing is they dont have desert after the meal.
I love this place! It’s so small but once ur in it’s the best! Affordable everything for cute vibe You can take pics hang with ur friends and have martinis for $7. The food is great presentation is on point and decor is really cute Small but mighty
Went here for a quick bite and drink and it was worth the visit. The place is a bit small but had big positive energy.
Host is a jerk on Saturday at 8:40 9/28
Ok happy hour with limited options. Appetizers were ok. Service was good. Atmosphere was great. Great for carrying on a conversation.
Great spot for all night bites and drink specials.Get the Lychee margarita. 🤤
This spot was amazing! It was a random spot chosen after my group of friends initial plans fell through. Food was great, intimate space with great drinks. Can’t wait to check them out again.
Great service and great price 😊 The restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious. A lot of vegetarian options. 100% recommend!!
Loved the place! The decor, the ambience, the service were all tippity top.The food taste real good but abit too sweet for me. Should have asked for a spicier option or something else.Had the vegetarian & tofu pad see euw and Thai iced tea.
The food is alright but the service is terrible.I always get the same waiter and he is always giving an awful service even when I continually tip 20%.Today I had an issue with my delivery order and they weren’t helpful at all.I will not be coming again to this place and I don’t recommend it to anyone.
A new small trandy restaurant with authentic delicious thai cuisine. Very friendly personel with stylish decor. Be early since the place is small and popular. Spring rolls and red curry just super! Wine and beer available.
LOVE their lunch specials - they have the best Thai tea around, their food is impressively authentic, and its affordable. Their recent interior updates are beautiful to admire when I walk by, too.
Great place, great food and great staff. Thank you for your service
The food is amazing. Loved the drunken noodles and the Thai iced tea. The ambience is great too.
This is a must go to place!!! Amazing food, memorizing interior design, and the plates are awesome!
Had a strand of hair in the food, yet was charged 20% gratuity. The server was extremely rude and did not seem to care. Would not recommend this place as there is no concern for customer. Food was decent but service was horrible
We love all day happy hour
The service was great and the food even better! Be sure to get there early for Happy Hour, the space fills up quickly.
Great Food. Questionable service. Ordered for pickup. Had extra time. Asked if I could eat there. Was told No. Asked why, then told It doesnt look nice. Its in a to-go tray. Another customer looked very confused about her response. I smiled and left. Ive ordered from here a lot. Think Ill hold off for a long while until they get their attitudes in check.
Ordered delivery and the Lunch special such as Pad Ka Tien is a deal with choice of side and drink!Their peanut sauce is a bit thick and curdled but still delicious. I captured a video of the dressing pouring out of the cup. Thicker than pudding. The lunch special didn’t say it came with rice on Seamless, but it DOES. I had ordered a side of rice but in the future, won’t need to!Great food. Would do this again!
Very nice atmosphere, but the service left a lot to be desired. Servers completely ignored me more than once during my visit and they were not busy. Food was ok except the crab rangoon - some of them were still frozen in the middle but I couldnt get anyones attention to take care of it. Unfortunate because this place had come highly recommended, and I wont be back.
Met some girlfriends to catch up and have dinner. Quaint little place got there early so it was easy to grab a table. Very small place but the staff was very nice and the food was very tasty. I should have ordered a different dish but that is on me not the restaurant.Wasnt crazy about the drink which tasted reminiscent of baby aspirin. I would go back to get a different dish because it was overall very tasty
The portions were phenomenal I love my basil fried rice although it wasnt spicy as I expected to beThe egg rolls were phenomenal really unique
I live in the neighborhood, so I sometimes order delivery. It is just as good as the food when I eat in the restaurant. The restaurant is small, so the tables are tight, but the ambiance is cool with the swanky decor. And the prices are quite affordable.
Decent prices and big portions!! I got the vegetable pad thai and it was so good!! The ambiance is really nice and the staff is super friendly! Definitely worth a try
Unfortunately does not take reservations which is a pain for this tiny tiny spot. I suppose late night only. I wish I could subtract half a star for this.Delicious food. It took me 36 years to be able to try Thai udon and thats a tragedy. We had pretty standard Thai food other than the udon but it was well done and yummy. Im sure their special dishes are great too. And happy hour all night long? Im happy with that. This is what gives it all five stars.I loved the decor as well. Really a beautiful space if a little small. I just wish I could plan to have a dinner here because I know its probably mobbed by Instagramers during rush hour.
Cute place. Excellent service and the foos was fresh. I rated the food a 3 because the curry sauce was watery/too soupy.
Absolutely LOVE this place- since 2016. Always a go-to when I visit NYC. Stopped here for my birthday & had a blast. The drinks, food & service are magnificent! Shots! Shots! Shots!
THE 👏 BEST 👏 THAI 👏 IN NEW YORK!Absolutely delicious, amazing environment, super friendly staff. EVERYTHING is delicious!
Almost DON’T want to tell you about this tiny place as then it will be harder to get a table. Best wings...period. Meals are huge and definitely get the Thai iced tea.
Very good Thai food and cocktails. Intimate space.
Beautiful cozy place. Great lunch specials & good food portions.
Wonderful food and service.Love the cozy restaurant feel.
This is a great place for small parties (2 to 4). The food is great, love the bowls and plates my meal is served in and the Thai tea. Love, love this place.
It was very cute inside! The service was friendly and fast, with great selection of food and drink. The food was pretty good.
Pretty good. My dish was so spicy. I loved it.
So good! The lychee martini and lychee margarita are fantastic, and at $7 for happy hour, I cant complain! Cute friendly waiters/bartenders.The Thai dumplings are delicious. I like that two of the four come in different skins (pandan and butterfly pea flower??)(the others in regular). And wow, can I just rave about the ka-prow puffs? Im sad I didnt get the curry ones I ordered the second time, but Im not gonna complain about the second round of ka-prow because WOW. They are so tasty!! The dipping sauces really makes it. Without it, its a bit like hamburger helper, but with it!? Seriously, try it.(We might even be trying to get it for breakfast...)(clean bathroom inside for customers)
Very kind staff, authentic Thai food, cool atmosphere. Som tam was perfect!
Excellent Thai food. Kow Soi is excellent
Love this restuarant! It is super cute inside and the servers are so nice and attentive. The food is amazing amd drinks are strong!
Really good food and drinks at a certain reasonable price
Great drink prices and food!
Great food, inexpensive.
Great food, they have a great lunch special and happy hour here. My favorites are the massaman curry and the pad Thai but they do everything well here.
Beautiful restaurant, amazing food. And best atmosphere. Will come back next week. And recommend to a lot of people
The Food and Drinks are awesome, nice small cute place to enjoy.
Very small location. The food was shockingly delicious and looked beautiful
Great food, folks were very nice. We really had a great experience
I must have walked past this place a million times but this was my first time at this restaurant and it was really good. Seated without waiting at all, the service was fast and attentive. The food was delicious and came out quickly, fresh and hot!
Wonderful food and very pretty decorations
Deff a good restaurant to go to w family and friends hospitality is at an all time high ! Great space to eat and enjoy your time prices good food is amazing all thumbs up for me ‼️
This is a chic looking place with tasty thai food ...went here with coworkers for lunch and had the spring rolls and thai fried rice both from the lunch specials...i got my order quick and both were delicious....great service as well...really pleased and would definiely go back.
Always a great place to eat. Love their Curry and Pad Thai. Great bar drinks too. Must try!!
Be careful with whoever serves you at this place. After I paid, I was confronted by one of the employees (couldve been the manager I dont know) to give more money. Even though I properly calculated what needed to be paid including the tip.
Small cosy amazing Thai restaurant! Everything we ordered was delicious.
Food and decor is amazing. Due to it being a smaller restaurant, seating can be limited but worth the wait (if any) in my opinion
The 6$ martini sign in the window caught my attention but this place quickly turned into my favorite place! The food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere and design is beautiful!
This place serves amazing martinis and their pineapple fried was awesome. Whenever I had been to this place, I had heard people giving good feedback on the food.
Food was excellent. Curry soup? So good, lava chicken and red curry beef. Also excellent appetizers 9 dumplings and spring rolls. Highly recommend. Most of all we are inside mid-afternoon and there was no one there so we felt very comfortable and safe due to Covid19. Everything was very clean and sanitized,
Small dining space with big personality and delicious, reasonably priced food and drinks. I ordered a Thai curry beef dish with rice noodles. Spicy and full of flavor. Will be back!
My favorite Thai venue in Manhattan. I like their spring rolls and Pad Thai, which is very authentic, the same as you could expect from street vendors in Bangkok.
Wow, amazing food and service!!! Must GO Thai Food in NYC!!!
I had the Kua Kai dish, it was perfect size and delicious! I would for sure recommend. Thank you.
Food, Vibe, Customer service everything was great!!!
