Delicious pub food at this midtown Irish pub. The place is spacious and has great friendly service. I had the angus burger and it was 💯 satisfying. I would totally come back here again to check out their happy hour.

Great place for lunch or after work drinks. Food is excellent. I had a Cheddar Cheeseburger and the server took great care to ensure that it was cooked the way I wanted it. It was really delicious, and the fries that came with the burger were crunchy and tasty. One in our party had the Cobb Salad which was also plentiful and tasty. Service was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Pretty good food and had a nice vibe. Definitely recommend the spinach and feta dip. The fried calamari was also super delicious. Their cocktails are fantastic. Menu has a lot of variety and all the ones we tried were very tasty. Service was ok! Got ignored a few times by the waitress so could’ve been better in that aspect. Would not mind stopping by again regardless. Now for my standard COVID comments as of March 2022. Gets a little crowded especially during happy hour times. Still did not feel too suffocating thankfully. Was comfortable enough to sit and eat indoors.

It was empty in here when we arrived, but that probably had to do with it being the coldest day of the year. The place was warm and cozy, the waiter was a bit aloof though; but that was fine, he was actually very nice.Had the steak sandwich with fries; the sandwich was really good and the fries were hot and crispy. I would definitely come back here to try their other menu items.

I stopped by today for the first time with some friends and I really enjoyed my experience here. Service was really good and the food was great. They have one of the best French Onion Soups I have ever had in the City. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and the establishment is clean. I will sure be back again the next time I am in the area.

A pub with a more upbeat and classy appearance, Annie Moores is a bit higher on the price tag than some of the other pubs in the area. The menu is similar to several other establishments, but the decor is a little less old-timey and wooden. You have a somewhat glitzy feeling experience at the bar, and the bartender was an excellent and mindful gentleman.I had the steak with mash. It was a good portion for the price and I left full. The cook was as I ordered and the potatoes were decently fluffy without being gummy or too dense. Overall, it was a very rich dish as one would expect.

My review is not for the food but my friend and I came at 5 on a Saturday and we hadn’t seen each other in a year and a half so figuring this is a good spot to sit and catch up. Walking in there were no tables as if they just opened (business hours 11am-2am) Within the last half hour we were there the server continuously kept coming back to our table as if we were being rushed out and we were still the only table there. Had only seen 2 other parties come in during our time. By 6:30 we were told last call for food and drink if we wanted to order (we were only there hour and a half and it was 6:30 pm on a Saturday?). There was no communication as to why they were closing so early and we even walked past a big chalk sign leaving that said “kitchen open all day”. Not returning.

The food is some of the best I’ve ever had. I had a cheeseburger while I was listening to Pink Floyd in my headphones and that whole experience was euphoric. The fries were some of the best fries I’ve ever had. The honey mustard is very very good as well. I’ve been there 3 times. The first was right before seeing tool in concert, the second was right before seeing Pearl Jam in concert, and the third was right before seeing linkin park in concert. Music really does make food taste better. Probably the second or third best French fries I’ve ever tasted.

We went to Annie Moores as it was very convenient to Grand Central station. We were meeting friends using the Long Island Railroad for the first time.We use to go to Annie Moores when they were in their old location right across the street from Grand Central. I have to say the food was the same but the bar didnt have that feeling of old fashioned pubs in Ireland. The wait staff was great. It is an alright bar. Ive been for lunch several times and the food and service are pretty decent. I went for happy hour the other day though and I ordered an old fashioned which was just plain wrong. They put an orange slice in it, not an orange peel, an orange slice which promptly turned to mush and made it undrinkable. If you go dont do mixed drinks. Served 1/2 a bun with dead salad & old tomato. They have a mean pour. I had a very generous shot of Tres Generations tequila. First this is the best tequila I have had in a very long time. As I was nursing my drink I decided to get something to Nosh on. My husband and I shared the bar mac and cheese and it was scrumptious. The gentleman next to us got a steak dinner that smelled and looked wonderful. I got a chocolate cake to go that was also very good. When we are back in town we will go in for dinner. Much better than any of the chain places that you could go to; good food, good service, friendly atmosphere, clean, cant ask for anything more.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in midtown. First, we get seated and our waitress leity comes & we smile at her and she just has a straight attitude from the start for no reason what so ever. We asked for water and she rolled her eyes and only brought one. We ordered a few apps: calamari, Guac & chips & truffle fries. The food was terrible. The calamari tasted like well done toast (literally), the Guac you can tell the avocado wasn’t ready and was just chunks of avocado and tomato. The waitress did not come back once after bringing the water to check on us, but went to every single one of her other tables smiling and checking on them. After about an hour I had to literally yell “excuse me” to her bc she wouldn’t look at us or come to us otherwise to ask for the check. When I did, she stopped, stood there a moment with her back to us, took a deep huff, rolled her eyes again & came over not saying a word. I couldn’t believe the experience. Very disappointing.

Always a great experience here. My fav is the Fish and Chips and even after coming back from being closed due to the pandemic, the dish still is great!

GREAT (read: cheap) happy hour spot near grand central - hose are hard to come by. Food is hit or miss - I loved my meal, my mom was t a huge fan of hers. But surprisingly the salmon plate is really good (fish isn’t he easiest dish to prepare).

The Guinness was great. Two floors, laid back and no hassle. Chicken tenders and sliders were delicious. NY prices, but they deliver.

Atmosphere is very nice. Prices are decent. Drinks are good. Appetizers and food are amazing. Truffle fries and lobster puffs are a MUST.

Good food amd quick lunch service. Typical prices for mid-town, large portions and really nice staff. Menu has pub style food, salads, sandwiches.

Decent pub fare, good beer selection. Typical midtown prices. Service is acceptable but nothing special. Auto correct made that into social , which is also true.

Excellent food and drink. Had salad from special list and it was excellent. Son loved spicy chicken sandwich. Flat bread was very good as well.

Solid midtown pub with better than average food at midtown prices. Definitely a good spot for a fast lunch if you are visiting from out of town or lunch with work colleagues. It can be a tad loud and the energy is contagious - - good happy vibe.

Traveling to NYC for the first time and enjoyed a mid afternoon lunch and drink. Best food and atmosphere while in New York thus far!

For what is basically just another generic midtown pub, the food was surprisingly good and came out really fast. Service was on point as well, which is to be expected from Irish bartenders, they never disappoint.
