This bar is a great place to catch a game and it’s reasonably priced for sure. They don’t have many food options so I suggest you eat elsewhere, but the drinks were good. It’s a bit of a post college atmosphere on the weekends and full of bros, but everyone was pretty respectful. There are only 2 bathroom stalls and people drink like fish there so be careful if you have a small bladder. I suggest checking it out!
The vibe is very ok, nothing special. The bartender on Friday night couldn’t handle when lot of people showed up to bar and took out his frustration by deciding to be racist. Treated people of color differently than the rest of the people. Was extremely rude. Do not recommend this place. Poor experience and people who work here are living in last century and are discriminatory. I hope they make some changes to staff
After a bad experience at another bar around the corner, we decided to try this bar. We were looking for a chill spot to have a couple craft beers. The atmosphere was laid back. The place was clean, and the bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. If you’re looking for a bar in the area this is the place to try.
11th St. BarEst. 1997Layout/atmosphere*Irish pub; three TVs; window counter; bar area; back room with wooden booths/benches; live music every night; tables on sidewalk under awning with two TVs; covered outdoor structure in streetFood/drink*Three item menu (toasted sandwich, warm pretzel & potato crisps)*Guinness on tap
Best place to watch Liverpool in NYC as it’s home of the official New York supporters club - great vibe especially when Liverpool win! Not the biggest bar but authentic East Village bar. Get there early to get a good seat for the game, I got there about 20 min before kick off and the main bar area was full but there there was a big screen at the back room, and which holds a lot more people. Even though there wasn’t sound in the back room ( not sure if this is generally the case) it was just great being in a cool bar watching the game and could hear the sound from the main bar area (not that loud though).
Loved this bar. Audrey, the bartender is very nice. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. The space is nice. The people are friendly. The prices are reasonable for the area. I will definitely be back.
Excellent bar!! The house Manhattan was very good and it was easy to get a drink even though it was crowded. The bouncer guy seemed like an expert and he was quite a character! Friendly vibes
The nights with jazz music are wonderful.
Great bar with live music. No cover, reasonable drinks and snacks. Nice spot for an authentic NY experience.
My favorite local pint. It’s casual, it’s easy, there’s a crowd for sport if games are on but always a fun afternoon or evening. The Live Music is great too when it’s on!
I wish I could this place zero stars. I walked in a Saturday night and could barely get the bartenders attention and when I did I got two Coronas and I didnt tip because he was so mad about opening two drinks so when I closed out he goes this will be the last beer you get. Two hours later I try to order another beer and he goes youre not allowed to order a beer because you didnt tip me the list time and got me and my friend who I was getting a beer for kicked out of the bar as he was calling me fat and ugly and thats why the establishment didnt want to serve me. The bouncer was a sweetheart and didnt understand why he was being prompted to kick us out and as I asked for his name, he said theres only one fat guy with dark brown hair as a bartender on Saturday so my favorite bar is no longer because of a fat guy who cant accept hes bad at his job!
Irish session music was awesome! Great musicians!
We were there as german tourists and had a very good time with live music.
Friendly neighborhood bar....good drinks...good vibesGood select few bar snacks ... but no mealsGreat live music....nice setup of backroom to see & listen close up
Low key neighborhood bar, went for live music on two nights and it was amazing l.Sunday after 9 pm, traditional Irish folk musicMonday after 8 pm, jazz night. No coverage, make sure to tip the musicians.
If you want to chill place to drink and enjoy some jazz this is the place for you. Not super accessible but the bartenders and security staff are super helpful if youre in a mobility device. This is the case amongst a lot of bars in New York City so just be aware of that if you are going into this city disabled. Theyve got bar bites and bags of chips for you to munch on while you are drinking cheap drinks and having a chill time getting to know the people sitting next to you. Ive gone twice on my visit and I have enjoyed every last moment.
Legit Irish bar! Nice vibe, cool bar tender! Wish it’s across my house!
This is probably my favorite bar in East Village. Friendly neighborhood vibes. The bartenders are awesome, they’re always playing sports, and some nights they have live music in the back. Had an amazing time celebrating my birthday here!
Cheers to 11th St Bar and staff and Dan for running a top spot.
Great atmosphere! Must go for Liverpool game. Just come early
I’ve been to many Irish bars across the US and in other parts of the world. This bar is a really great one. It has a cozy and very inviting feel to it, yet the back opens up in a spacious way. The staff is very friendly and laid back and the selection of draft beers is great. I definitely enjoy the overall atmosphere here.
Great cozy little irish pub in the East Village. Fair prices as well $13 cocktails, $7-8 beers
Great local bar in the East Village. Very friendly bartenders, Guinness in the taps was fresh, feels genuine. Came in one evening last week for a pint when visiting NYC for work, stayed to watch Jimmy & Immy and Brian Mitchell perform in the back room some of the best live music I’ve ever heard. I’ll be back.
AWFULLY RUDE RACIST SERVICE!!!!! Both my brother and his girlfriend were kickied out of the bar because they “allegedly” needed a free table mind you they were the only to poc’s in the establishment will not be back here and this isn’t the first time they’ve been very rude to costumers for no coherent reason
Update: we still never got an apology nor did anyone reach out to us regarding how we were treated. My husband and I went here to watch a game a couple of weeks ago. Our experience here was absolutely horrible, to say the least.Their menu clearly states that outside food is welcome as long as you order here as well. We ordered a couple of sodas and snacks. During half time we walked by to the 711 store close by and grabbed some coffee.Upon coming back here the owner/manager who was standing outside looked at us and loudly said ‘we have coffee here you should have ordered it from us’ my husband instantly apologized and said sorry we will order from here too.The owner/manager replied back to our apology in a rude tone saying ‘you have to think of small businesses, if you want coffee then you order it from us’Once again my husband apologized. I said sorry too. We told him again we’ll order coffee. We told him we’ll dispose what we got from 711. We accepted that it was insensitive of us to have bought it.He then extremely rudely yelled ‘if you want coffee from 711 then go watch the game at 711’. We were shocked at hearing him say this.We apologized and kept our coffee away and ordered more food. He gave us the cold shoulder throughout the rest of the game. We felt extremely hurt to be treated and spoken to this way. It was a terrible feeling and we obviously didn’t enjoy the remaining half of the match. Neither of us could believe how we had just been spoken to. It was rattling. This guy was the rudest guy we have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.Keep in mind this happened in front of everyone sitting there. It was beyond humiliating to be spoken to like that despite apologizing three times.Good bye and good riddance to this place. We will never be returning again.
Good cocktails!! (Pic: Made in Oaxaca)
The place is nice and not touristic, live music when I visited. When I asked the bartender help choosing a new beer to try, he just left and didnt cooperate. I guess its acceptable in the US but not where I come from.
This is an authentic neighborhood bar. There is a good selection of draft beers and a more modet selection of distilled spirits. Theres $2 off all beers 4-9 pm daily,...an extended happy hour. Food items are minimal and limited to a couple of sandwhcihes, an of course, chips.
One of my favorite East Village bars. This one is a little different; its like a time-capsule. Stuck in the late 90s it captures that New York bar vibe of wood paneling, a long bar, and very local staff. But unlike most New York bars (or Irish bars) this is really clean and with really good quality drinks available.
They have traditional Celtic music here on Sunday nights starting around 11pm, though it is advertised as 10pm. I showed up at 9pm on a Sunday in August 2018 to get a good seat, but that turned out to be unnecessary. Everyone at the bar was really friendly.
Amazing bar and wonderful customers. We were made to feel so welcome. Our son even got gifted a liverpool supporters t-shirt. It made his day. Xx
Had a good time listening to the live music!
Nice place if you are a Liverpool fan! #YNWA
Come here often. Great selection of beers and long happy hour. They also allow dogs! The only thing I can say negative about it is that I have yet to get a buy back and I have been here over 50 times.
This has been a meet up place for years. Sitting around the tables in the front or back, we hung out.Date spot.Book club.Watch the Yankees, Knicks, Rangers. NFL.Liverpool.Good musicians play here regularly. No cover for any of it. Great bartenders.
It is a great Liverpool bar. The beers are good.
Its the best bar in NYC. Great neighborhood bar. Great beer selection. Check out music on Sundays and Thursdays. Happy Hour from 4-9pm everyday!
No cover, great bar service, good hot pretzel and most important, great live music; in this case, The Great Momou
This is a real east village bar. One of my favorite in NYC and they have awesome musicians there all the time. Great beer selection and happy hour.
I have always had a soft spot for this place. You can expect to find charming accents, good beers, live jam sessions, and a patient bartender who will let you stay until the bitter end.
Great service and vibe. Nice and quiet st the beginning of their happy hour. Its a spacious place to get $5 pints.
Love Liverpool, but the layout of the place sucks. Too narrow. Also not really conducive to watch matches. The TVs are like 32!
Live music 5 days a week, completely transporting. Late Sunday night had live Irish folk music. Simply, amazing.
Came here in the afternoon on a Saturday. Not busy and the bartender was friendly. Got a Hot Toddy cocktail for $12 which is decent in NYC. Draft beers are $8 for a bunch of decent stuff like Ommegang. You can get the cheap beers here for $6. Highly recommend for a quick stop in a warm, nice environment.
They book some really good people there and the sound system is good. Its a neighborhood bar & an intimate spot to see a show.
Best pub in the city, hands down.
10/10 recommend. If you’re looking for a local bar after a long day of shopping in the east village, look no more, this place is it.Only recommendation, get a juke box!!
Looks fantastic. the experience, food and atmosphere are so cool.I will definitely try again the next time im in manhattan.
Rude Bartender with Red Hair made my experience unwelcoming and racist comments were made during my time here
Great beer. Good people. Awesome vibes. What more do you want? Its an Irish pub.
Really great bar with great staff! Also the official bar for Liverpool supporters in NYC! Absolutely worth checking out
Super fun, great draft selection, live music
Liverpool Fan Club bar. 5 stars just for that. Go during the Reds game and youll understand my review. YNWA!
Over from Liverpool so popped in for Liverpool FC game. Brilliant place - great bartenders and great to interact with passionate Liverpool supporters from all over America. Didnt order food.
Wormburner killed it last night. A great venue for bands.
Great music, bar wasnt really diverse enough for me.
Best neighborhood bar in NYC.
Worst bartender we’ve ever come across. Incredibly rude. Embarrassing to be honest. Caused a right scene because we gave her cash. And after all of that, she was wondering why we didn’t give her a tip. I’ll give her a tip, improve your people skills. So disappointing as we’re big Liverpool fans from England and this was the welcoming we received. The pub itself was really nice, but she needs to get in the bin.
Sports bar meets lo-fi industrial-chic aesthetic ambiance
Such a great gem in the village I dont want to tell anyone about it. Amazing staff, music, atmosphere. Perfect spot
Great happy hour prices, friendly staff. Not overly crowded and the live music was decent.
Best Guinness pour in Manhattan. Hands down! Also has live bands on the weekend 🙌
Great service and drinks! Awesome staff and I ended up ordering the Smithwicks Red Ale draft beer. I highly recommend it.
A good staple of the East Village, interesting beer selection. Good place for watching soccer big scream in the back for big events
Went to watch a football match with family who live in America.Brilliant atmosphere, especially for Liverpool FC supporters!
Nice place. Friendly service. Good atmosphere. Great ham and cheese toasties
Great spot for live music and the best Guinness in the village.
Great Pub to listen to live music and grab a beer or cocktail 🍸
Great bartenders.
Great live music Sunday through Thursday, great beer selection, great bartenders, local crowd. Liverpool supporters home base.
We had a club happy hour here. LOVED it ! Terrific venue. , great location , terrific staff , wonderful space in the back. I would bring a group of friends back here again
Best place in New York to watch Liverpool matches. Great atmosphere and friendly locals.
Great cold drinks. Euro vibes. Older crowd. Great neighborhood spot.
They have really nice live music and a cool relaxed ambiance.
Great place to hang out have a drink and see some music.
Excellent Place.BEST IN NEYYORK Atmosphere amazing.Gets chocker, so beware of a good time.
Not been here so comment on the food, service and atmosphere but as I am a big Liverpool FC supporter and planning on visiting New York City in December I will have to try and visit here because by then we will be back in the Chanpions League and hopefully doing well in the the league by then. I decided to already give 5 stars for atmosphere because with Liverpool supporters it certainly would be great. YNWA
Warm environment, friendly people. Great music!
Live music, full bar, nice beer selection, attentive staff. Adult crowd.
Cozy pub with a wide selection of beers. Big with the Liverpool football club supporters and shows every match they play
Nice bar with genuine Brennans bread and Tayto crisps!! However we came to watch LFC V Norwich and had to listen to an idiot from New England talking at the top of his voice for the entire match. He was unfortunately a typical uneducated American “soccer” fan talking absolute nonsense about LFC etc. He’s clearly a OLSC member so that’s enough to make me never come back to watch a game here. If you do…. Enjoy the food and the game but if you hear the loud twenty something guy talking about FSG/Res Sox and the Patriots…. Move as faaaaaaarr away as you can!!!
Chilled out bar with tables and booths. Friendly barman (Conner) and well priced drinks.
Lovely if not crowded, so come early. their beer selection is about average.
Good drinks. Good music. No Taylor Swift in this place.
Great place to listen to Live music!
Great spot the live music is awesome
Amazing place to be for a Liverpool game. Make sure to arrive early for big games!
Its a Liverpool FC supporters bar, but they show other matches, too. A great bar to watch soccer games and have a drink.
A great neighborhood bar for music, sports, and a great hang.
Beautiful spot with good Guinness and quiet even when it’s loud
Bartender is rude and obnoxious. Does not want to make drinks just wants to joke with his buddies in my opinion. Not worth the trip.
Best bar in NYC for any liverpool fc fan
Fantastic music! Tony the owner is a phenomenal host!
Great selection of beer and I love the Irish Bar Feel.
Rude. Redhead bartender was very rude. Not returning
Bar jess went to after unc clemson game. Said good spot to speak to friends.
Great afternoon staff . Nice sports bar .
Great beer selection and happy hour prices
This is a great space to see bands-- I understand it also has a soccer following. Not too loud, with a soundproof room in the back and some snacks
Fun neighborhood place that was great to rediscover after many years.
Very nice place
This place is an absolute gem.Neighbor bar serving class guinness.Live music almost every day, great staff.A beauty
Good selection of beer. The seats are not that great.
Its bar no food service but good music people very friendly
Amazing experience. I came on January 4th, 2021 at about 3:45pm. I was going to get a drink because I also needed to use the restroom. Ended up only deciding to use the restroom. The owner/manager/bar tender was extremely polite and allowed me to use the restroom even though I didn’t get a drink. Visiting from FL and my family and I are definitely impressed by the hospitality here. When we are back in the city we will definitely come back to have drinks and maybe catch a soccer game.
It’s very good if your a Liverpool supporter
Great neighborhood bar with live music on weekdays
Jazz, NFL and great beers; what more could you want :)
Great place to go for Liverpool games. Great atmosphere, great people, great beer.
Absolutely wonderful neighborhood bar. They made me feel like a regular the first time I visited
Great Irish music session on Sunday nights!
Great place for all Liverpool fans in NYC!!
Jazz on Monday’s - incredible
Their outside area is so cute. The service was fast and the drinks were good. Thanks for a good night!
Fun times
Nice atmosphere. Not too grounded on a Saturday night
Cool vibe. Friendly, good beer selection.
An Irish institution in the East Village, fantastic music all the time
Cozy with a great staff
Liverpool FC supporters bar.
Saw a band play in the back. Great set.
Kenny is a proper barkeep coming from another bartender!
We recently attended an event here in the back room. Place was very accommodating. Good selection of beers. Restrooms are clean!
Friendly neighborhood pub. Nice outdoor seating with TVs, good place to go to watch a game. Pours a perfect Guinness. Snacky bites as well - the toasties are tasty and cheap.
Low key enjoyable place for a well-priced drink
Nice revolving list of draft beers, super friendly staff and an old school, dimly lit, dark wood vibe. Perfect place to curl up with a pint and chat with your neighbor on the next bar stool. And the jam nights are a lot of fun too. A kind of place that hardly exists any longer in the East VIllage.
Insulted immediately by bar manager. Asked to show proof of vaccination (which I did). Told it’s not valid (only place anywhere in USA or UK to ever tell me this). I was wearing a mask the whole time while the bartender was not yet somehow I was made to feel like I was in the wrong. Travelled an hour out of my way to visit a LFC bar in NYC and was greeted with hostility and a bar full of drunk old men at 3 in the afternoon on a weekday. Dingy place.
Best neighborhood bar in the city by a mile and a half.
Great neighborhood bar and Irish music
It doesnt matter if you are an historical bar in the EV and thevibes were pretty good, the bartender was really really rude for nothing, not going back again .
Awesome dive in the village I go to whenever I want to catch up with friends in the area. Very friendly and attentive staff
Great small place for music and Liverpool games. The Irish music session on Sunday night is mighty.
Awesome selection of craft beer, excellent service and live music and a chill crowd. If you dont REALLY enjoy this place, please leave NYC and never come back.
Incredible experience here. Both ken and the other bartender accommodated putting the Syracuse game on.
We love you Liverpool. Locals showed up after the game and have me lots of local food recs. Everyone was cool. I like this spot
One of the best Guinness pours in the city.
Go to this place on Sunday night for their Irish Jam. Great selection of beers. Skip the hot spiked cider. Its a bit over priced and comes in a tiny glass mug. There are lots of places to sit so its good for groups. Really cool tin ceiling!
Only been here for Liverpool matches. Gets crowded (must arrive early to even get in) for most matches now. Downside is that it is small / tiny.Beer selection is excellent. Bartenders are outstanding. The atmosphere during a Liverpool match is as good as it gets this side of Anfield. If you are a supporter, it is a must at least once during the season.
Hockey speakeasyLiverpool Central
I have to say they have excellent good. and the cocktails are better than any other place. Thank you for having me and my friends.
After dinner we stopped in for a brew. Very kind bartenders and a pleasant atmosphere.
Can’t recommend 11th St enough. A real neighborhood bar with a cozy feeling and a rock solid Irish music session every Sunday.
Just to respond to Wilson down below... What you failed to mention is how obnoxiously loud your group was. Yall were literally yelling, making it not only difficult for us to perform, but for the rest of the patrons to enjoy the music. Add to your extremely loud and rude yelling, the blasting of music and videos from your phones was ridiculous. The behavior your group exhibited was that of toddlers, and thats being unfair to toddlers.IF youre going to write a negative review, at least include YOUR terrible actions. Dont lie by omission.Be a little more courteous next time. Also, 11th St. Bar rules.
Liverpool Supports bar, I’m a Liverpool supporter! Great service, a couple of appetizing dishes until you’re hungry.
I am sure going to come back! My pianist friend Katie Cosco texted about the Monday jazz jam. After the rain stopped, I came over. It is a beautiful bar. Great air-con and hot music. I love it here. 8-11 pm jazz.
Monday night jazz is a great evening
Great happy hour till 9 PM, $2 off any draft and usually not too crowded unless there is live music in the back. Also great selection of draft beers.
Such a nice place, I liked the music
Great atmosphere and friendly patrons. Best place to watch Liverpool FC play in the city!
Bartender friendly, good happy hour, live music, cordial environment, good range of craft beer served in 20 ounce grasses. The hidden gem of the East Village.Me Lord Hemsley, Reviewer.
Loved the live Irish music!
Really cool bar, with a big beer and ciders lists, cheap and nice. The space int he back has tables so you can enjoy a bday party with a big group of friends.
The big living room for this area..friendly bartenders..food..live music great vibe
Good beer, nice happy hour, and live music, hard to find these days, great bar.
Hottest jazz jam session in the East Village every monday night!
Wonderful place for New Yorkers together to have a drink or two with friends. A real neighborhood bar.
Cool chill spot to grab a drink.
This is the place to go if youre a Liverpool football fan
Came here to watch Eurovision. Good and relaxed space to watch an event. Had an okay selection of beers at $7 each.
Ive thinked a lot before writting this comment, but decided to write it down because of the embarrassment I and my friends passed. We were there in the november 27th, 2018, enjoying the music and having a good time until one of the singers suddenly stopped the music, turn to us and said: I cannot hear my own voice, if you do not want to hear my song, go to the end of the bar or go away. At the time, we did not said anything, just left the bar very constrained. I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else.
Great local bar with fun layout and cool chatty bartenders.
Great spot to sit back and watch Football, especially when Liverpool is playing. Large selection of beers and dog friendly.
Great neighborhood watering hole with very good beer selection, snacks, and live music many nights.
Good jazz. Nice Old Fashioned.
Ideal age bracket is 50+. I was a bit too young.
Really awesome neighborhood bar in East Village. Super close to HiFi, too.
Liverpool games and great staff, tucked away in the Village.
Good space, clean, good band.. worth a visit!
The place to be on Monday nights. Great music and they take great care of their taps.
Great place for the friends to gather and catch a game.
Great Liverpool bar. Love this place.
Nice place to have beer with snacks.
My favorite bar in the city. Ignore the ranting review from Oct 2009...I have seen that woman hauled off in a straight jacket.FYI - dogs no longer allowed due to the new health grades
Great Irish bar - deep beer selection, friendly bartenders, live music on weeknights, and far enough from the subway station that its not over run with B&T/NYU woo-kids.
Friendly bar. Great traditional Irish music late on Sunday night.
Good place for craft cocktails.
Nice bar with a wide range of beers and a very warming atmosphere
Good time
Really rude/slow service from one of the waitresses. Went on a weekend night and it wasn’t very busy even. She gave my friends attitude when she messed up our drinks and we asked if she could fix them.
Good neighborhood bar.
Simple East Village bar. Cheap drinks.
LFC fans must come here the Mecca of LFC. Beer is cold and chanting for the Reds is a must
Great place for a proper pint.
Decent pub but a bit small
Fun place for drinks and music
Cool bar
Chill vibe and great bands.
Great band, the problem is the setting.
#1 LFC bar in the city hands down
Great vibe, always a conversation there
Nice experience lovely taste
A great place to chill.
Friendly service and nice invironment.
Good outdoor tvs!
Great beer and wings.
Great happy hour!
I love 11th street forever
Great Bar. Great Staff.
Great live jazz
