Fabulous bar with an impressive tap!!We stopped in here on the way somewhere else, but ended up staying all evening. The food was lovely, the beer was well taken care of and Patrick was a most genial host.Good selection of IPA and a few sours in amongst the wide verity of lagers and ales. Well worth a detor if youre in the vicinity.
We had mixed experience at The Chelsea Bell. The food was good, but unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. One waiter mentioned that it was Happy Hour for beer and wine, so we decided to order some beer through another waiter. However, when the bill arrived, we noticed that we did not receive a beer that was included in the Happy Hour rate.Additionally, the menu states that all sandwiches and burgers come with a choice of a side salad or French fries. I ordered a grilled cheese from that section and specifically asked for the side salad. To my surprise, we were charged an extra $8 for the salad. It would have been appreciated if the waiter had informed us that the grilled cheese was excluded from this offer.Overall, while the food was enjoyable, the service did not meet expectations. Clear communication and attention to detail would have significantly improved our dining experience.
A WHOLE VIBE! We popped in to grab a bite, and have a few cocktails- atmosphere was awesome, drinks were strong & reasonably priced, and the food was outstanding 👌🏾. It also helps that the Bartenders brought their A game!Highly recommend & will definitely be back for more!
6/21/24 back for dinner with the GF.It was game 6 (go Oilers) we sat at the bar. Got the giant pretzel - good, note beer cheese is served cold & still good.We both had the double turkey smash burger, it was ok, not much flavor... Turkey needs strong flavors added, this one could use a rebuild. We both got the side salad - good.Great beer selection. Our bartender was good and patient even tho he was busy.4/27/22 back for a beer with Dennis after work, still a cool spot. He got an order of the calamari, I stole 2 pieces, cooked to perfection!Beer selection is decent, prices ok.2019: A cool spot. We stopped in for a hot drink- it was good and the vibe here is ok. I Need to come back and try the food.
This place is fun and welcoming.I came here after work on a Friday with a friend. The host greeted us at the door and sat us at a good table. We opted to sit more inside towards the back as oppose to right in front. It is a little weird that their Happy Hour menu is only from Monday to Thursday. But they still have a really good variety of items and good prices. The location itself is beautiful. They have a really nice bar. The seats were all high tops with booths along the wall. The table was beautifully set up and even had a candle on it. The bathroom was a little cringy and out dated but it worked. We ended up ordering two appetizers. We got the nachos. It was okay. Nothing too too special. Everything was fresh and tasted good. We also ordered the pretzel. It was HUGE. Super soft and had great flavor. Tooo much course salt on top but thats just my preference, my friend didnt mind the salt. It was served with spicy cheese sauce and mustard, both good. The drinks were on POINT. I got the blood orange Margarita and it was delicious. My friend got the spicy pineapple Margarita and she absolutely loves that drink. I also ended up getting a patron and Coca-Cola. Strong, good.Overall my experience here was great. I cant wait to return and try additional menu items. I highly recommend it here. They can accommodate groups of 2 or even groups of like 10 or more. The drinks are so worth it.
Was there late. Didnt like the burger. Cane with choice of onion rings or fries. Onion rings greasy ive been there for private party a few times and food back then was also appetizers. This was not my thing. I wanted grilled cheese but I was told big portion so went with burger. Too greasy. All of it.
Great food, decent prices for the area, fun happy hour deals, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, sports bar mixed with classy pub vibe. Appreciated being able to sub fries for a surprisingly good salad. Love $2 taco wednesdays. Havent tried Tuesday trivia yet. Get the cheesesteak rolls as an appetizer.
We went there since two years for pride event like brunch and drinks prior to parade. They are amazing but their buffet brunch is average. Not a big fan but their drinks are strong and can knock you off too. I like the vibe, staff, and atmosphere there. Wish the servers could be little faster especially during the event time.
Went here during the NBA draft. The food was pretty good, there was some rain so the TV service was pretty bad. There didn’t seem to have issues with the baseball games but I feel like Basketball isn’t the ideal crowd for this bar. Their soft bacon pretzel was absolutely incredible!!
Visited Chelsea Bell today for lunch and was not disappointed. Ava, our bartender, was super friendly and helpful. She recommended the fried chicken sandwich and the tossed wings. We will be back!
Looks like a dive from the outside but its gorgeous on the inside. Kinda like me 😁
Saturday afternoon, 2 pm, sat down at the Bar, figuring a quick lunch would be easy here. Big mistake, the Bar tender was rude and dismissive, making me leave after not being served. Incredibly enough, when I left, the little blond Bar person had the nerve to say You should have flagged me down. How could I, when you pass me by over 6 times, in 40 minutes, not bothering to ask me if I wanted anything? With this entitled sort of attitude, I wonder how this place has survived?
We stopped by on a Monday night for a quick dinner and loved the seating, music and how quiet it was. We also really enjoyed the food and drinks which is the only reason why theyre not getting a two star. They have wonderful comfort food. Our waitress was unfortunately very inattentive, we had to ask if we could order food and we never got a chance to order a second drink. Our table was cleared without confirmation, and we sat there waiting to order another drink for awhile. Finally we decided to leave but it took forever to get our ticket to pay even though we were sitting there with a cleared off table and no drinks. Also none of the staff had on masks, which was odd since we have been to a lot of restaurants in NYC and every staff member had on a mask.
Yay on the drinks, the staff and the crowd! Absolute nay on the food! We ordered the fried calamari and the first order was overcooked, dry and rubbery. I had it sent back and the chef sent the next batch, doughy, soggy and uncooked.Such a shame that the experience is ruined by a bad and spiteful cook. The bar is great with excellent bar staff and a good selection of beers.
Was a nice place to sit down for a bit, watch some sports, and relax. Amazing beer selection is an understatement! But 9.80 for a pint of Sam Adams is laughable
Attended a Christmas party here and had a great time. The DJ was so on fire. The vibe was positive fun and very enjoyable. The staff were professional and friendly with smiles. The view around C Bell is also super gorgeous at night. Id definitely return and walk around more after some great food and drinks. I had a Whiskey lemonade for the first time. It was to my surprise very smooth. Bartenders did a great job serving the drinks to the party members. All the staff was helpful and cool. Thanks for a positive vibe experience! See you soon!
One of the best burgers Ive ever had! Great setting, food and staff.
The Chelsea burger is straight up the best cheeseburger Ive ever eaten. Curly fries nice and crispy too. Even decent drink prices. No complaints
I am here right now eating the poutine and I would give them my entire life’s savings to be buried in this poutine it’s the best poutine i’ve ever had come here and get the poutine 10/10I love youjen

Food was not very good over all but it is a pub after all.If anything, get the fries, they were definitely crispy.Daily specials for drinks were cheap though.
Food was really good, the service was outstanding and the whole atmosphere was a bit louder than we expected to have dinner, but it’s understandable since the place is a bar and we were there near midnight.
I really enjoy this pub. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Ive come here several times and ordered different meals and enjoyed each of them! My favorite so far was the sliders. I usually get a Guinness on tap and its excellent! On Mondays they host a board game night with a group called Shenanigans and Ive met so many lovely people through it. Highly recommend!
Very lively pub with good food and quick service!
The Chelsea bell had a solid amount of beers on tap. Also open much later than some other bars in the area. Other than this, nothing special about the food.
This place is a wonderful bar! 🍻 The Chelsea Bell serves an amazing selection of beers 🍺, cocktails 🍹, and alcoholic drinks. 🥃 Definitely try the Schofferhofer beer! The staff 👨🍳 is friendly and professional, service is quick ⏲️, ambience 🎶 is great, and the place is nicely decorated. 🛋️ They open pretty late too! 🕜 I wish I knew about this place earlier!
We had a great server and the food and bottomless mimosas were wonderful.
Got in at 06:45 pm on a Friday & ordered right away. Was supposed to be charged a happy hr price on my rum & coke well but got the full price instead. Not worth fighting over $4...BUT WILL NEVER COME BACK.
Nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Food and drinks were very good.
Great, clean place to watch all of the football games! The bartender, Gina, was amazing! She turned the TV to the game we wanted to see, was attentive to our food/drink orders, and very friendly! The food was tasty, too!
When we got there, they told us a party was almost over and wed get a table for our group of five soon. We waited for 45 minutes at the bar, having some drinks, and then they told us another big party of 100 people was coming in and they couldnt seat us.This place might not be the best for a chill dinner and drinks with a small crew, since it looks like they mostly host big corporate parties. They also claim to be a NY Ranger bar and wouldn’t put the game on for me.
We were a family Holiday gathering of 21 people. It was a great environment. Menu was adequate drinks were . Great wine selections . We always like the great Craft beers and Sofia manage the affair excellently. I highly recommend it. We weren’t given a choice of brunch or lunch but it worked out OK
I was at an event held at Chelsea Bell yesterday. Not my first time. The staff and food were second to none. They were patient and efficient. Our food came as expected and only this morning I wished that I had those Chicken and Waffles again. It was delectable! Im certainly going back, event or no event.
Excellent service and exterior seating. We had five-dollar beers at happy hour. Buffalo Chichen nachos were drab to say the least, and squids followed (extremely oily). The establishment is right next to Blink Fitness. The entire visit felt counterproductive as we were stared down by tons of buff bods.
I attended a brunch meetup here yesterday and got the chicken and waffles (was torn between eating the whole thing there or getting half to go so I could enjoy it later). It comes with these fried pickles which were amazing too! The staff was super flexible and accommodating and having done events before know that pulling off a group of this size is no small feat! I enjoyed my experience and would go back to try other items from the menu that looked great as well.
My ONLY gripe is that the tvs are mounted too high over the bar. neck was straining watching the game other then that. This place is a gem. food was excellent fresh and tasty. amazing selection of beers and drinks. I will be back
Went in to watch a basketball game. Screens are good. Service got tag teamed around, and we had to ask multiple times for things, and one drink just never arrived. The food I ordered was cold in the center and I probably should have sent it back, but didnt.
Hidden little gem, for an afterwork wine down.I went right before an art gallery event and had their taco special (every Wednesday). They were very tasty. It was a very chill mood, with the usual sudden afterwork surge of people. The reposado margaritas are delicious. The servers were on point and knowledgeable. My cousin arrived shortly after me, and we went to the gallery, but it was way too crowded and late to get in, so we decided to go back to The Chelsea Bell and try their flatbread Margherita pizza which was also great! The music was a nice chill 2012s Katy Perry vibes.
Cool bar that is much bigger than it looks. Staff were great and very friendly food was nice but we only had a snack so cant give full review. Seemed like quite a real American bar which is nice. Crowd were good and there was sports on the screens. Would go back without hesitation.
A great place. On St.Patricks Day we parked out front.Decided to try it out.Everything was magnificent.Service ,food and enrertainment.Tganks guys for doing a great job !
The drink was so good and the DJ was amazing! The staff was kind as well. We went to have a drink right after brunch time. I saw they have a brunch menu with an unlimited drink for $40! They have a variety drinks menu which I’d like to try! I will come back soon.
This place is pretty blah both food and drink-wise. Small menu with ordinary stuff, done barely competently. I want to love it because its such a convenient location for my job. But its not very good. I did get great service tonight though.
I came here for the Superbowl party, which was a great choice as it has screens literally everywhere. Paid $60ish dollars online before hand for the open bar and unlimited appetizers package, which as you can imagine was a fantastic experience. To top it off we also had table service which meant I didnt have to whittle my life away trying to make eye contact at the bar. Our server was very polite, friendly and professional. If I ever return to New York I will be sure to make sure I visit here again!
Great bar food. Fast and friendly service. Special pregame menu. What more can you ask?UPDATE: I was there before the May 18 Billy Joel concert. It looks like this place has changed hands. Much more attention on the bar. The wait staff for food orders was severely understaffed. I will try again when the season starts, but I had to walk out. I never got to order. 1 star.
First time at Chelsea Bell for a meetup & the management was incredibly accommodating for our large group of over 70 people. Good menu options, good service & the location is easy for transit. Bravo to the staff for serving our group with care.
The matradee is professional. The waiters are a bit distracted. The site is clean. The food is meh. The atmosphere is relaxed. I would return for a drink or coffee.
Service was pretty bad as our table of 3 was without water for 20 minutes, despite our server coming and checking on us, so complete lack of awareness as we needed to ask to get more water.Food is general bar fare and I would probably guess this place is better for apps and drinks then for entrees. Overall a little disappointing.
If you want to pay 40 dollars for bottomless mimosas and to get ignored this place is perfect. Waited 20-30 minutes just for my first drink and only got two refills. There’s way better places around here. If you do come here don’t expect much. With peace and love this place is garbage.
Eveything was nice and it was a good relax and chat withvfriends atmosphere. The drinks were also really good and their dessert was bomb.
Came here very late for the last drink of the night. They have a full bar with a large and interesting selection of ciders, beers, and even sparkling wines. Bartender was nice, atmosphere was open and airy. All around a good spot.
The food and drink were good enough, I had nothing too crazy, just a burger. My only issue was the service. I went on a Friday at 5 pm before the real after work rush and it took almost ten minutes for me to be acknowledged at the bar, it just set the tone for she you service for the rest of the time I was there.
Food was good, wait staff was friendly and on top of things. Vaccine card was required to dine in.
I enjoyed my visit to Chelsea Bell last night. I went with friends after attending an off-off Bway play. The waitress seated us quickly and took our drink orders. The food menu was a bit limited, but items were tasty and well presented. There were several screens up with a variety of sports programs on. I would return again.
Elite pizza. One of the best in the city.
Hip Bar near FIT in the garment district. Varrous activities and small stage venue. 20s 30s casual but upbeat.
I don’t expect much from a sports bar when it comes to cocktails. Even this bar managed to offend my pretty low expectations. I ordered a pitcher of spiked ice tea. It was completely undrinkable. Essentially the drink tasted like lipton’s breakfast tea with rubbing alcohol. But seriously, there was nothing else accept tea and booze. It was horrible. I had to order a pitcher of lemonade to dilute it, and I even got charged extra for it. Stick with the bud light, it comes directly out of a bottle and it’s unlikely to be messed up. Stay far awhile from specialty cocktails here.
Good drinks, unimpressive food.we ordered the margherita flatbread and it arrived just….wet. The tomatoes hadn’t been drained; they needed to prebake the crust a bit or something. french onion soup needs to toast that crouton; oniony but uninspired.kind waiter.
Wanted to try something different my penne alavodka was a bit taught it couldve been cooked longer to make it softer my class mate didnt really enjoy the Cobb salad but I did. Good atmosphere.
Bad service, unwelcoming atmosphere...Me and a couple of friends had decided to retry this place out. Like other people had mentioned, there is a unacceptable waiting period. For us, we had waited over 15 mins while others were being served. My friends and I are POC, and the atmosphere here wasn’t that mixed. We decided to leave feeling unwelcomed. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my mask and had quickly went back in to retrieve it. The male bartender working that night had stoped me and started yelling at me to put a mask on. I tried to explain the situation to him, but he didn’t want to hear it. I had to talk to the hostess who had seen us come in to let me retrieve my mask. We were not able to try anything because we had waited so long that we decided on leaving so I cannot comment on the food/drinks. However, customer service is not good and that particular bartender was rude. This was my first and last time coming here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
Clean restaurant, great service, good beer selection, decent food, drinks were a little pricy, but not outrageous.
Had an amazing time at Chelsea Bell, the drinks were perfect! I love fruity alcoholic beverages so I opted for a piña colada, Kentucky Duck and Summer Punch. Needless to say I was not disappointed!I was with my family so we took the liberty of ordering a variety of things on the menu: Shepards pie, all types of wings, calamari, Mediterranean naan, chicken tenders, and Mac and cheese. Every single thing we ordered was delicious! Flavor, texture, presentation and temperature of food were beyond perfection. There wasnt a dish that we didnt enjoy. The chefs really know what theyre doing. After some time we waited to make room for dessert, where we ordered, the brownie and ice cream, Oreo cheesecake, churros, sorbet and gelato. To put it in simple terms, there wasnt a full dish returned. We left every plate empty! The ambiance and service were A +! The staff is professional and very friendly. They even have a cute Photo Booth where you can take pics and the restrooms were tidy. I highly recommend this place and cant wait to return!!!
The manager and staff were very attentive and I truly enjoyed the environment! My Cobb salad was excellent and my Mimosa was on point, too!
The service was actually so terrible that I felt bad. It has great potential to be a fun place to watch football but overall... bartender has never made drinks before, took way too long to get even a beer, when we were the only ones there. New management needed.
The kitchen served lukewarm and overcooked steak in the brunch steak and eggs dish (I asked for it rare) which they kindly replaced. The eggs were then overdone on replacement. Great service. Yummy bloody Mary and tasty little hash nuggets. All in all good.
Really good french fries but the hispanxc dude with the glasses who works the front (manager/boss) is so weird to me and my friends like the service sucks and he was so mean for no reason. I’ve been waiting like 20 minutes for my water too.
Burgers and salads are very good, beer pours seem good and were full pints. Service was ok but could have e been better if the waitress was not also tending bar.
Excellent local place for a drink. They host games night and have their own branded draft beer. Fun, chill time on a weekday evening.
Attended a brunch meetup here, meal was prepaid (including gratuity) and preselected. Was refused the menu item Id selected while others were served their meals after checking in. Still havent been offered a refund, although I was literally refused the item I prepaid for. The waitress offered me an egg sandwich instead, which I politely declined. The meetup organizers then said that Id selected eggs and steak, not steak and eggs and that was the problem 🙄😏.
Service wasn’t good at all, food was even worse. It was a slow, slow Sunday, only one waitress. Really only good for 21 year old brunch birthdays, or maybe a quick beer at the bar before the game.
Great place 2 hangout
One of the best beer selections in New York City. However, they have a policy that cheats the customer. Im on a fixed income so I enjoy going across the street from my home for happy hour. Theyre $7 happy hour specials are adequate for manhattan, but they charge tax on the $7 and then round it up to $8. My bill of $7.62 cost me $8 so I was cheated over 38 cents. Admittedly that is no big deal, however a crook is a crook is a crook. It is now a no-go place for me.
The good: The waitstaff was wonderful. Attentive and quick. The Bad: This bar is in a brand new building, but the ambiance theyre going for is that of an old tavern. Why? Id like to know the answer to that question as well. It was dark and cavernous. The menu leaves alot to be desired and the price point is such that your wondering why a quesadilla is $12 and a grilled cheese sandwich is $14. I get it, its NYC, but if youre ganna take my money at least do it right. Toasted bread with some cheese and tomato on it...yeah Im all set. Come for the drinks, pass on the food.
The cheese steak egg rolls are the bomb!! Had the shepherds pie the last time I was there and it was a bit on the salty side. No, it was really salty. Im not really a salt eater. The beer selection is out of this world though. Beer beer beer beer beer!!!!
Excellent staff very helpful
Absolutely an outstanding bar/pub/restaurant.Great selection of beers and some spectacular wines. The steak burgers are a nice size and tasty. And the bar counter is long enough for all your friends to sit comfortably.Including the dinning area sitting has room for large families.Multiple TV monitors to catch all your favorite sports teams, especially the NFL.I ran here late after playing at the chess clubs, and seen the ppv UFC, of Valentina against YJohana, the strawweight queen. Tremendously powerful match with Valentina.Pound for pound, the most incredible fighters in the UFC, with lighten fast counterpunching & kicks. Also the spectacular illuminated High Line, to view all the skyscrapers at night, is only about three blocks west. Including all the boutiques that run under it , perhaps a little further walking. However, the most spectacular aspect about this place, is the absolutely outstanding bartenders and staff. They will make your special events incredible, with their friendliness and professionalism. ⭐⭐⭐🍔🍺🍺🍺Absolutely Like 🤙👍👍👍👍👍🤙🤙Cheers. 🤙Extraordinarily highly recommended.
Friendly bar, delicious bar food; server was helpful...food flavorful and satisfying. A great place to eat, drink and catch up with friends for hours undisturbed.
I was surprised to know that they accept reservations during COVID. Me, wife and kid in the cold when we went yesterday after long walk from Vessel, even though there was vacant table were told by a lady waitress that it was reserved.I just left to pick my car and went to Indian restaurant Patiala. Only when I kid asked do they really accept reservations during COVID is then I realized maybe were discriminated as Indians and were asked to leaveI might be completely wrong but still I feel in cold with limited seating why would you reserve tables? . If it is really done on purpose thats this is bad!Wish I am wrong but left a bad taste of this restaurant
Food: food is good small fortune but enough to get you started. THE FRIES ARE REALLY GOOD.Drinks: Depend on what you get but some of them give you a small glass.price: pricey get ready to spend at least 15 dollars of food.LOCATION: is right next to the train gym and local stores.@kenexplorer
Easy Sunday brunch option. Not crowded which is surprising given the quality of their bloody Mary’s and brunch options.
Great spot to watch game and have some food
Nicely laid out bar. Was a bit quiet when we were there, but upmarket place.
Great Tacos at a very great price. Taco Wednesdays is awesome!
Fun sports bar in Chelsea with decent food. Went here for a trivia night during the week and had a great time! The trivia was fun, service was good, and food was tasty.
Menu was small; not sure if thats because of COVID. Sauces had great depth of flavor.Few vegetarian choices and was quite expensive.
Disappointing! The hostess was very sweet & super accommodating but thats all I can say positively. We waited a ridiculously long time to receive our drinks, asked 4 times over 40 mins & 2 of us had to go ask for it twice. Our server never checked back on us. Waited forever to get everything from start to finish. Waited over 15 mins expecting someone to come get our bill to charge my card. Finally had to go to them to get that done myself. Fish & chips was bland and my raspberry mojito was basically flavored sparkling water... never again!
Honestly just came to meet some friends it was a fun lively ambience. The bar staff was nice/politce but a little bit slow moving given the fact that it was friday and the place was nit exsctly packed. My group of friends very muched enjoyed it.
Went there before boxing match at Madison Square Garden. Great food and service. Just a few blocks from the Garden.
GREAT FOOD! Great staff, nice atmosphere. If you cant go in person, order takeout! Youll be so glad you did!
Food can be good, but sometimes its a free for all down there, no waiters and illegally streaming fights on TVs...which wouldnt be so bad if it werent for the constant buffering.
Good lunch menu. Burger and a Beer $12. Tell them exactly how you like your burger and thats how you get it. No second guessing if its medium or like a hockey puck.
Cool place. We came here before a concert at MSG and enjoyed the food, service, and even the music. The waitress was attentive and the food arrived at a good time.
Nice bar and very attentive and nice waiter. Thanks to Kella and Kelly who were very friendly to us. Our couple really enjoyed the night.
Very clean place. Food was very good. Service was also very good. Would definitely return.
Spacious and a very large bar with many beers and drinks to select. The bar staff was very friendly and knew what they were doing. Sat at the bar and it was a great time.
My husband and I love this place, the people who work here are the best!! Great happy hour and great food. Highly recommend.
Delicious food, friendly service and great location
Lots of mounted tvs all over. Youll have a good view of one no matter where you sit!
Nice place with great staff. Only here for a few drinks. But hope to return in the near future
Saturday brunch, had the eggs Benedict / siracha biscuit dish and it was crazy good. Nice vibe, good service. Would definitely return.
Food was delicious, I had shrimp and grits!
Food very gross and uninspiring. Sat night. After 10pm. Buffalo wings come with buffalo sauce on the side. -_- Celery ribbons? I vote no. No carrots. The worst atrocity of my visit was the $12 bacon mac and cheese. It was disgusting and it was boxed macaroni with cheese sauce, with some real melted cheese on top to make it look classier. Tasted awful. They shouldnt be allowed to serve that.DJ was cool. Lively atmosphere.I would never return here. Ever.
Very good beer and the food is tasty. the service is very good and the staff very attentive
They have poutine and as a canadian I am beyond thrilled
Good place to watch sports with decent bar food menu. Staff is accommodating and theres lots of seating.
Great sports bar with excellent food and beers. The staff is really friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic to enjoy a good game with friends.
Great pub and setting. Food excellent. Brilliant service from staff.
Solid happy hour deals. Decent vibe.
Really nice bar! Great selection of drinks, nice menu, lovely servers, definitely worth a visit!!
Currently my favorite bear to go to. Inexpensive and not too crowded. My two favorite things. I can also sit and watch whatever games are playing on the screen.
Bartenders here are awesome. Great spot for drinks
Loud music, skunked beer, rude staff = always empty bar
Local University of Colorado bar. Go Buffs! Great food and drink specials during CU Games with a section that shows the game on the Pac 12 Network.
A nice decent chill after work place. Happy hour & a great appetizers!
The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly.
Nice big bar. Solid happy hour. The grilled cheese is TRULY excellent. Wow.
Food is ok. Ambiance is just strange. This place doesnt know if it is a hipster bar or a McDonalds with beer.
Bland $9 mass-market beers and a generic atmosphere, whats not to like? But seriously theres so many bars in New York, find a better one
Its a convenient place to meet and have a light bite and a few drinks, but be careful with the bill. The staff like to ring up the more costly of drinks. I ordered the House Wine, and they switched up after a few rounds in. I started paying $9 a glass, and in the end, it cost me $13 each. The most annoying thing is the way the bill comes. If I am drinking the same wine you figure the cost be the same for each glass. My guess is its common practice to jack up somebody whos having a good time with friends. I blame myself for not fully reviewing the bill. In either case, I will avoid this place going forward. The food and service were nothing stellar that motivated me to visit again.
Good bar if you just want drinks but the food leaves much to be desired.
Had mimosas here for my bday! Great place to visit with a great menu to order from.
I had just a drink, very nice and gentile the girls.
A nice little neighborhood bar with a wide assortment of drinks. There are a number of tvs to enjoy some games. The kitchen is competent with their pub grub.
This is a nice bar with an extensive rotating tap list and wines. The bar looks really cool as well
The service and atmosphere were great. I ordered the sliders and they were ok. The fries they came with were good. I would come back.
This place charges you extra if you want ice in your drink!! Also charges extra fee for non cash adjustment even before asking the payment method. What a rip off!
Food is lackluster at best. Just get a drink.
This place is awesome, lots of beer to choose from and the bartender Paul was very helpful!
The service is good, the food is okay but over priced. The price should match the quality and it doesnt.
Great food. Fantastic friendly service.
THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME!GREAT, BARTENDERS AND HOSTS!!!HIGHLY.. RECOMMENDED!!!CANT,. WAIT TO GO BACK!!!
Food is not good. Wouldnt come back with so many better options everywhere
Four of us ate in the Chelsea Bell this week. Our food and drinks were amazing 🤩 we started with the hells bells and buffalo chicken nachos followed by the chicken sandwich and three Chelsea burgers. We also had a couple of beers and some Moscow Mules. One of the best dining experiences we had during our trip to NYC. Could not fault it. Great bar!
Large open space with a lot of standing / bar seats. Good selection of beer and a decent happy hour
Good bar staff. Paul was friendly as well as professional. Ill go back sometime.
Great food and solid drink specials daily.. $3 tacos on Wednesday are great
One of my favorite bars in Chelsea... 5words PHILLY CHEESE STEAK SPRING ROLLS! Aaaamazing!
The food was tasty, the ambiance was attractive but the service was not good.
Order with the wait staff. Bartenders inefficient. Maybe new staff. Good music for friday night. Good vibes.
Nice atmosphere. Love their wings! Service is ok.
Good drinks and food, servers werent very attentive.
Dont come here for a game. They dont play it loud enough to hear. People arent here for football.
Way too loud. Food was ok. Mulled wine was amazing!
Great, attentive staff. Great drinks. And great space!
Love this place for a drink. Happy Hour starts at noon and prices are very reasonable for NYC. Right next to the subway which makes it an easy meetup location.
They do trivia during the week! Here are some of the crab cakes.
Great Beer Selection with trendy Bar atmosphere in the Heart of Chelse
They have the best pretzel youve ever seen in your life
Sweet environment, GREAT service... and the pear salad is delicious
Nice sports bar with good food and not a bad wine selection
One of nicest maitre Ds in recent memory, great staff... thanks everyone
Lots of tvs, nfl package, good beer selection. Friendly bar tender.
Good drinks, I recommend the Chelsea Bell Ale! Bunch of TVs
Terrible guacamole. Terrible mozzarella sticks. Terrible service. Hostess was nice
Saw this place on Sherri Show. She did not steer us wrong!!!!!
Good lunch specials + an all day happy hour.
Fun bar. Its no McManus, but it still can be a fun place to drop in after catching a show at UCB.
Amazing food and good service.
Great place! Really nice staff. Ton of TVs.
Good food, nice staff. The drinks hit too
Regular fries were half under cooked.
I felt the staff was running around like chickens without a head, and there werent that many patrons.
Amazing
Okay place
Yes they have happy hour till 7pm weekdays. This is your classic bar/ American food. I love the loaded fries with a margarita!
I had a wonderful meal here. The waitress and the bar gentleman were incredibly nice to me. And I felt comfortable and safe here. My only regret was that I wasnt staying longer so I could enjoy their pride weekend. Food was excellent. Size of my salad replacement was huge and the flavors of everything was delicious.
Very good place to hang and have some fine beers.
Great place to watch a game. Get a beer. Hang out with friends. Make new friends. And great conversations.
It’s a gem in NYC. The venue allows for great spacing with fantastic drinks and a great location to bring friends. Not only that, the staff is incredible especially Jr and David. Definitely check out the max and cheese!
Good brunch place
Great place to hang out for a drink/apps...nice bartenders
I hosted a watch party for a soccer game at the Chelsea bell and had super great experience communicating with them both in getting the event set up as they always responded fast to my emails and also in running the actual event as they had a bunch of tables reserved and set out for us and the staff were super helpful. My friends have hosted events here before too and had similar experience, would highly recommend for anyone looking to host an event.
5 of us went for Happy Hour on Memorial Day after a long day at the museum, bike ride down and walk the Highline so we were a little dehydrated, tired and hungry. Between the HH Specials and fun, friendly service, The Bell really fit the bill. They have about 20 taps available for you to find ur fave or try something new, like I did, and found a very refreshing bevvie called Downeast! Its a guava hard cider which I drank over ice and it cooled me off and provided a cool buzz, too.My sister had the Signature Paloma which she said was tasty. Everyone else had an ice cold beer and we all shared HH tater tots, steamed edamame and spring rolls. Perfect combos for the drinks.I can only imagine when this place is hopping for a work day HH but it was nice and quiet which is what we all needed. Thank you, Tony, Katie & Co. for taking good care of us. 🤙😎
Kayla was such a courteous and amazing waitress that we wanted to shout you out !! Thank you for the amazing night out!
Nice friendly place to unwind after work with affordable prices.
Stumbled across this bar. Great food and great service.
A little pricey, but its a nice place.
I hate writing bad reviews, but I hate the experiences that cause them even more. We were in a rush. We had tickets for a concert at the Garden. 2 burgers, medium well please. Sounds simple enough. Right? Wrong. Both burgers were dropped off in front of us in a reasonable amount of time, but when we bit into them they were medium, the fries were really oversalted and the buns were extremely greasy. After wiping the bun the burger was ok with me, I like medium, but I order medium well in a new place so they dont screw up my wifes burger. Well, we would have told the waitress there was a problem if she showed up in a reasonable amount of time. We were in a rush so my wife ate the outskirts of her burger and left the salty fries.Long story short, we only payed for 1 burger because my wife complained to the manager and still the waitress stayed away. Our check was delivered by another waitress and I payed at the bar ( she had to come over to clear my check)...not a good experience.
Beautifully decorated for the Christmas season, Gram worthy. Burgers were delicious and happy hour drinks paired well.
Waitress told us that a previous party was ending at the end of the hour to be seated to eat. When it became the time, she told us there is another party and that we were out of luck.
What a great place! Everyone was so nice.
Food was terrific plus service was awesome
Good all around, great service!
Really great meetup bar w good apps and a nice beer selection
I went there twice during my trip to NYC, great little place, good vibes, great staff, good food, attention to detail, I recommend!
Food was very good, but place was very dark and loud with little seating space, I say this with the understanding that this is a bar and might be what some people are looking for
Delicious drinks with pleasant staff. Recommended for a quick drink at a decent city price. They offer happy hour and other specials.
Great food and casual atmosphere.
Great Pub with good food, drinks and service. Highly Recommended.I recently went to The Chelsea Bell with a group of acquaintances and everyone in the group complimented. We were all happy with the overall experience we had. It is a decent size and clean pub. It is a comfortable pub to go to if you are looking for an ambiance that is less noisy than a typical pub. Our wait staff was very attentive and accommodating. We enjoyed everything. I am most certain that I would go back again.
Awesome wedge salad. The perfect portion size and combination of tomatoes, cheese, bacon and dressing.
I dont go here often. But, when I do, its always a great experience. I enjoy the service so, so, so much. The food is really good too.
Went on Thursday September 16 and The staff was very dismissive and ignoring my table! I’ve actually seen the wait staff lock eyes with me as I wave my hands and walk away as if they didn’t see me! I felt that was rude. Also the drinks were very weak. Same goes for my friends who were with me. I tasted no whiskey AT ALL in my whiskey and ginger, and when I brought the matter up to the server. Dude gave me a smirk and an eye roll. After round 4 of drinks we decided to leave. I tip according to service EVERYWHERE I go and they are lucky gratuity was included because if it was up to me. $0.00 tip would’ve been it ! Never going back
This place has consistently been the best bar experience I could possibly ask for. Every time I go here I receive not only excellent drinks and service, but the food is some of the best food I’ve ever had period. Highly recommend this place I would give it 6 stars if I could.
Clean,great service tasty food.
Beautiful ambiance. Personable bartending staff.
Amazing food, atmosphere and staff!
Great setup for a sports bar. TVs almost everywhere, which is good if anyone in your party isnt there to watch the game. Food was great; the people I was with rated the burgers very highly. Shrimp and grits meal was definitely worth getting. Good mixed drinks with an pretty good beer selection.
Nice Irish pub. We frequent here after work. Convenient and friendly staff
Great atmosphere and friendly service from one named John.
Great atmosphere, great wings and the bartenders are very attentive.
