Great place to stop for a beer. Great bar staff, would return when I’m back in New York for their outdoor seating and great drinks offerings.
Spending Cinco de Mayo at Stone Street Tavern seemed like the perfect plan – until a disappointing incident left a bitter taste in our mouths. My coworker and I were enjoying pitchers of drinks and delicious food on the lively outdoor festival. As the evening cooled down, we decided to move indoors. I kindly requested for my burger and pitcher to be brought inside, but to my dismay, the pitcher was brought inside but my burger never arrived. After inquiring about my missing meal, the waitress admitted that the wait staff had mistakenly thrown it away, despite my not being finished. Shocked and frustrated, I was left speechless by the careless oversight. What infuriated me even more was the lack of apology or attempt to make amends. How could they discard my food without so much as an apology or offer to replace it?The entire ordeal completely ruined my appetite for the rest of the night. Its disappointing when a simple request is mishandled with such disregard for the customers experience. While the atmosphere and drinks at Stone Street Tavern were enjoyable, this incident overshadowed any positive aspects of our visit. Its a shame that one careless action can spoil an otherwise pleasant evening.
Nestled on historic Stone Street, one of New York Citys oldest paved streets and a notable site from the Revolutionary War, Stone Street Tavern seamlessly combines modern charm with rich history. The food was outstanding, and the exceptionally friendly staff created a warm and inviting atmosphere, making our experience thoroughly enjoyable. For anyone seeking a memorable meal in a location steeped in historical significance, Stone Street Tavern is an excellent choice.
Overpriced and very little appealing lobster sandwich. Could be more generous with the filling. Comes with dead fries on the side. Expected more from this place, but I guess thats what you get when you go to a tourist trap.
Had an excellent lunch there! Cozy and quiet place. Didnt have many expectations cos of the area, but we were pleasantly surprised. Very friendly service too!
I had a great time while in this place. The drink and the “truffle risotto balls” were delicious! I also had lunch at the place and it was well prepared. Not only the staff were kind, but also the environment was cozy and beautiful.
Particularly bad experience here today. After running a 5k in honor of those who lost their lives in 9/11, we had plans to eat here as a group of 10. Arriving on time, we were met with confusion about our reservation. We were told we probably made it an hour ago when in fact it was made 8/19. We went as far as showing a confirmation email while staff looked blankly and shrugged at us. The manager told us with a straight face they had no room for us while more than 3 tables sat empty. There was no apology, sense of wrong doing, or care for that matter. What makes us less important than other reservations. I’d rather light my money on fire than give them a dime of my business. Steer clear
I chose this bar based on the good reviews, but I’m not sure it lived up to the hype. We ordered a variety of items—burgers, buffalo wings, quesadillas, and mac n’ cheese. The burger was really disappointing, lacking any flavor, and the quesadillas were just mediocre at best. Overall, it didn’t leave a great impression, and I wouldn’t rush back.
Food was way better than expected. Burger was the best Id had in quite some time. Fast, friendly service.Music was so loud that it was somewhat difficult to maintain table conversation. Lots of TVs.
No nonsense bar. You go there to drink with your friends or to be the lonesome bar-fly. There is food served, but its there to help soak up the alcohol in your system, not because its exceptional. The service was pleasant and pretty quick.
Food was okay, the fries were great so I’m imagining typical bar bites are the way to go here. Cocktails are great, servers are very friendly. Service is very slow.
Terrible experience - made a reservation over a month ago for 10 people with email confirmation. Day of we got a confirmation text and confirmed. Show up on time and they turn us away due to having no table for us? “Manager” was extremely rude and hostile towards our whole party and said they cannot seat us and too bad even though on their screen infront of our eyes, shows our name and table
It has great vibe! Good food, nice service! But kinda hard to call server
Stone street is beautiful in itself. Great happy hour options.
Delicious food, quick service and real good atmosphere. A great place to hang out and have drinks!
Limited beer selection, but a shockingly high percentage of non-standard craft fare available. Music is a little loud for my taste, but thats a common complaint for me.
Great food, service, and customer service! Portions were perfect, leaving you satisfied but not uncomfortably full. It was a seasonal drink but their apple cider Moscow mule was the best mule I’ve ever had
Nice place to have lunch while resting doing tourist 🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸
Great atmosphere. Food was delicious. Great service.
Await review
I had dinner here at terrace in mid-September. It was perfect for casual dinner with friends after work for both local and visitors with lively noise, wind. There are lots of restaurants along the street, so its fun find your favorite.
We only stopped by for drinks but had a good time! Music and atmosphere were good!
Love it and the vibe, and fun servers and we met great people there, only tried the guacamole and Chios, but were good, love to try more next time. IF heading to New York City? This is a fun place with and warm atmosphere, especially at Christmas 🎄, we cant wait to see it in the summer.
Pretty well known area downtown. Can get pretty crowded, and the outdoor seating is pretty, given the weather is alright.
Food was surprisingly really good for a old school tavern
We went for lunch, and it was not so busy. Waiters are friendly and food is good for a bar! As other restaurants on Stone st. they have outdoor tables for the nice season.
Ice tavern near wall street with outdoor dining.
Great bar, lovely drinks. The people I met whilst drinking here were lovely which reflects well on the bar. Only issue I found with this place was the toilets were very smelly and dirty although upstairs is spotless.Unfortunately I didn’t try food here but next time i will give it a go!
Attentive service. The food was spot on. Grilled chicken delicious. Mac and cheese. Chicken wings. All super tasty.
Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience in this restaurant: At the end, a gratuity of 25% of the total amount was added to the bill and a tip of at least 10% was also required!! After an endless, very tiring discussion with the staff, the completely unjustified fee of 25% was waived, although the appropriate 10% tip of course was given, eventually. But however: The good atmosphere of the evening was completely blasted and this restaurant became a never again area.
Stone Street is a great place for outdoor drinks and food, for groups especially. Its always a vibe and a great time. A New York staple, especially in the summer. Our waiters at Stone Street Tavern were great! Quick with the orders and food and drinks. The food was delicious and menu had so many options. Lobster roll was fresh and lots of lobster. The parppadelle was surprisingly delicious, like creamy sauce and filled with meat.
Ya cant go wrong. Named after the lovely street it is located on. While the menu is small, the offerings are vast, cooked to perfection, full of flavor and are ready sooner than youd expect given the volume SST gets, especially on a Friday night.
Great meal with a poor service. The servers didnt look like enjoying the work.
Was okay. We came and it was empty. The server came outside and acknowledged us as tourists. Asked about the happy hour specials and she told us they arent offering the specials right now even though it is advertised very clearly on their website. We were in the right time frame for the specials advertised. Only stayed for a beer. The only saving grace was the location was incredible and historic, and the tavern was pretty neat on the inside.
Great place with great food. Our server was fantastic and very personabile.
Fast friendly service. Delicious food good sized portions. Would definitely visit again.
Stone Street Tavern, located on historic Stone Street—one of NYCs oldest paved streets and a significant Revolutionary War site—offers a perfect blend of history and modern charm. The food was delicious, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making our visit enjoyable from start to finish. If youre looking for a great meal in a setting steeped in history, Stone Street Tavern is a top choice.
Tourist trap. Avoid at all costs. Tiny portions. Huge prices. 5$ for extra chips if you want to be able to finish your tiny 16$ guacamole
Good food. It was too busy and not enough servers
Food was delicious. Great lobster roll and their Mac and cheese was some of the best Ive had. The margarita was also surprisingly really good!
My expectations for the overpriced Stone Street tourist traps have been pretty much non-existent, so this was a very pleasant surprise. After being burned for the second or third time over here, I pretty much avoided any of these restaurants as potential lunch spots for months. My Skipper and I came here for lunch yesterday (a Friday) around 1pm. Despite the excellent weather and prime mealtime, this place really wasnt crowded, even in their more-heralded outdoor picnic table area. No matter. We secured a high top close to the bar with zero issues.Since we passed several people in Halloween costumes and there was a very slight Fall nip in the air, I decided to go with a Hot Toddy ($14); tis the season. It was very good. A LITTLE more citrusy than I would prefer (lemon is usually pretty prominent in this drink, to be fair, but I like the sweeter variations of this) but still hit the spot. And the temperature remained hot throughout consumption of the beverage, which was a selling point. The menu item that caught my eye earlier and ended my Stone Street boycott was the Braised Beef Pappardelle Pasta entree ($23). Huge fan. In an interesting decision that paid off, they cooked it with fresh mint throughout, which gave it a fun, refreshing taste that I wouldnt have guessed paired well with everything else. It was a decent portion that I polished off pretty quickly. The service was pretty good. The waitress was civil and pretty attentive but I wouldnt classify her as friendly, per se (which was a little surprising given how heavily a place like this caters to tourists). It took about 10 minutes to get my drink despite the fact that the bar area and overall restaurant were pretty empty, but the food itself arrived quickly and the waitress DID stop by a few times to check in; beyond the initial drink, I dont recall any point where we were actively waiting/looking around for someone to assist, and we were in and out of there probably within 45 minutes or so.Even if this restaurant wasnt on Stone Street, I think the price point was pretty reasonable for the area overall - a legit $23 entree and $14 drink are arguably slightly lower prices than the average here. Its definitely possible and maybe even probable that the dinnertime crowd experiences higher prices than this, but Im pretty impressed by the lunch situation here.
The best Tavern food in NYC is Stone Street Tavern @Stonesttavern. The service is impeccable. The hostess Charlene welcomes you in with a beautiful smile and her charming personality is so welcoming. Miguels cocktails were delicious to perfection. I recommend you try the Watermelon Martini and the Jamaican Bay Breeze. The food is oh, soo delicious. Stone Street Tavern is a great spot for a fantastic upscale Tavern dining.Stone Street Tavern will be my new Summer chill spot. A gem of a place with lovely Irish hospitality.Food highlight was the Korean BBQ wings it was light, crispy and juicy. The Lobster ravioli was filled with bite size lobster, mac n cheese was divine and inviting. The burger chargrilled to your perfection with crispy sweet potatoe fries (to die for; the outside light and crispy and the center, super creamy and yum yum delicious! I will be going back for more! 🤤😋
Sadly, three of us sat at an outside table all from a conference with our own business account cards-The waiter flatly refused-to split our bill and also added gradituity, when questioned he said it was house policy , I asked two other tables seated near us and they hadn’t the tip added to their bills even though there was four at each of these tables. The fact he lied, refused to split the bill and his rude attitude didn’t warrant the amount of tip added.
Was there last Thursday 28th sept.great tasty food we had steak all I will say if you want it medium rare, ask for medium if rare ask for medium .apart From that it was beautiful.buffalo chicken wings to die for .
Great place, just a little loud, but what can you expect for a bar. Good service a.d the food was tasteful.
The $25 bottomless option was pretty good. Love the outdoor sitting. Food is decent. The guacamole and chips were the best things we ordered.
On on Stone Street downtown Manhattan, best food and drinks in town with a Cheers atmosphere, everybody knows your name. Good times!
I dont recommend the place in winter, it doesnt have adequate heating. The whole room was very cold, the waiter replied that it was too cold and that the heating system was not enough, we had to wear a coat and scarf. Also, the bill needs to be paid on a single card, but you are only notified at the end. When we asked the waiter about it, the waiter was rude. I definitely do not recommend the place.
Such a quaint little NYC spot. Loved the food, atmosphere and looking out over Stone St. Like a walk back in time.
Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Got one drink at the bar while waiting for our reservation, it took nearly 20 minutes to be greeted by the bartender in an empty bar. After checking in for our reservation for 10 people that was made in August with an email confirmation and written text confirmation from 24 hours prior the “manager” told us he was not going to honor our reservation as he “couldn’t find it” despite showing us it on his iPad. We absolutely understand mistakes happen but 1. The establishment was empty he was holding tables for later potential reservations and 2. He showed no sympathy, did not apologize once for the mistake that was made. The cherry on top of all of this was the manager got incredibly aggressive towards our group to the point where we felt unsafe and that he wanted to get into a fight. At this point we left for our own safety. I really highly discourage anyone reading this from giving this establishment any business.
Great vibe, food smells great, good service!!
Lunchtime review.Alright, I stopped in over the winter months so I was unable to capitalize on the outdoor seating situation BUT I would definitely return during the warmer months to check out the outdoor scene. So Stone street is super cute, has tons of restaurants that line the street and you have a plethora of options. We went with this one for a business networking lunch and cute decor, good service, and good menu options.I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad and it was nice - the salad had a good crunch, the chicken was good and the dressing was spicy. I didnt read the menu clearly as I had no idea but it was a pleasant surprise. It simply a good salad, next time I might order the steak salad cause my friends order came out literally almost perfect! This is definitely a good lunch place if you are in the wall street area, it does the job but definitely nothing to write home about. Overall prices are about $17+ which is expected for this area.
Really enjoyed dining at Stone Street Tavern! It offered larger seating which we really appreciated because we went as a group of 8. The menu has limited vegetarian options but overall food was delicious. Highly recommend the lobster roll!
Good spot to get some few drinks after work. The food is pretty good here as well. My only negative experience is how they make their old fashion here. Its not that great and they put cherry instead of an orange peel and it comes in a small glass with tons of ice and charge 20 bucks for it. I get that its FiDi and the prices are competitive and I dont mind the price if its good but I was pretty disappointed. Other than that, overall my experience was good.
Solid bar to hit after work. Even though they dont offer happy hour specials, the drink prices are reasonable (considering this place is on Stone Street!). The food is very good. On my last visit, I had the quinoa and black bean burger with sweet potatoes fries. The burger was moist and very flavorful and the fries were crispy. Our server was also very attentive. On a Friday night, we were even able to reserve a table in the back of the restaurant.
Burger was greatPrices were ok and great service
There for a Christmas party. The atmosphere is lovely, old New York. In the summer, this is the only block where you can legally drink outside. (Although that doesnt stop anyone in the South Street Seaport area.) The food was very good. Ill definitely return to try the restaurants regular menu. The staff were gracious and helpful, taking care of all the guests. I highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again soon.
Servers are exceptionally rude & racist. I was walking to one of the outdoor benches to where my group was sitting, when the server purposely walked in front of me in the aisle, sneering, saying “you need to go the other way.”My other Asian friends also have the same experience coming here.In addition, only tourists come here nowadays for mediocre drinks & food.
The AC needs to be turned up. Besides that, nice people with good food.
I had not seen such disorganization in a restaurant for many years. I hadnt had such a bad service experience in quite some time. You can see my comment history. It took an hour to serve the food. They did not bring the water. Then they didnt bring the cutlery. They were also wrong with the next table. Food nothing tasty. They took a long time to collect. Horrible waste of time.
Wow!!!! Great bar, great atmosphere. If youre looking for a chill spot in the financial district look no further. The bison burger is perfect, paired up with truffle fries and a microbrew. Guys 6 dollar happy hour near wall street will never disappoint. And please tip the bartenders, Stacy will take good care of you.
If you want your reservation to be honored, go elsewhere. Our large party was turned away while half the restaurant sat empty (should have been our first sign to go elsewhere), despite a reservation being made 1 month prior. The “manager” was unprofessional, hostile, and actually told us to leave the restaurant after refusing to seat us for our CONFIRMED reservation. Will tell anyone who will listen to avoid this restaurant.
Location is a very cool place. Stone street is lined with several inviting bars. The menu was very attractive however they were out of many of the things we wanted to order. The beer selection was good but not extensive. I would go back but not a stand out.
Had a great steak & frites on the terrace.
Food was fantastic!!!! Service was even better from the manager, to the bartender, to the staff. Restaurant is very clean inside. Highly recommend!!!!
Stone Street Tavern is very standard. Very decent wine selection and Ive had a great burger and salad here before. Its one of the more generic (American classic food), but better executed restaurants on Stone Street. Not impressive, but not failing at execution. Service is scattered.
Drinks are well made and delicious. I ordered the steak medium , fries & salad. The steak was cooked to perfection, fries were crispy and nice salted. The salad had a tangy vinaigrette or balsamic on it. I enjoyed the atmosphere & lightening as well. Will return.
Love it down here. Nice restaurants. One of the last NYC streets made of cobblestone.
Great food. went for brunch and got Eggs Beni perfectly poached. Bloody Mary was great as well, added Worcestershire Sauce or something I think. Only complaint I would have is that the white Sangria was more liquor than wine.
Great experience!!!!They have the best fries calamari i have ever ate and i hzve no words to describe their lobsters rolls.Thank you for the amazing service
Good drinks and plenty of space for talking & dancing. the bar was cool too! the bathrooms could use a good cleaning when I went though
Awesome place to grab a beer and a bite. Great atmosphere, try the pretzel and the draft beers.
I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, and unfortunately it was obvious a frozen chicken patty acquired from Costco. The burger was okay.
Great tasty food, very cool music 😍 and cool waiters! Nice atmosphere! Love this place, will return again!!!
Old world charm draws customers to Stone Street with its wide selection of eateries, with outdoor tented tables. Menu covers burgers, wings, seafood, steaks, chicken & salads with an international character. I enjoyed the Cajun chicken quesadilla. Cocktails are a speciality too. Check their website for happy hour and party booking deals.
This place was really good. It’s on a really cool street of restaurants tucked away in the Financial District. It’s got a great vibe to it, and the wait/bar staff were very friendly (even though we were there over a holiday and they were working). The food was really good as well. I highly recommend trying the truffle fries!
Staff was quick to serve and food came out with little wait. Tasted quite good.
A staple of the financial district and Stone St restaurant scene. One of the best lobster Mac and cheese Ive ever had, a great beer selection, and fast service. My usual spot when Im on town to visit friends and family in the area, highly recommend it
Nice atmosphere - typical happy hour / lunch spot. I wouldnt go here for the food specifically, but its a fun place to hang out.
Terrible place for an Octoberfest , it one way in one way out and packed with people with no where to move
Waited at a table for 20 minutes after being seated and walked out after not being able to get any servers. Restaurant was maybe half full.
Nice place and good vibe. Was busy but the waitress got to us and served quickly which was great. Reasonable prices and a cool location. Good beer selection
Updating my review. Planned to make this place a regular haunt. My son goes to school nearby. But just encountered a host so rude and unhelpful dont think Ill be back.
Unscrupulous business decision. We had made reservations for 5 for a quiet table a week in advance. We confirmed our reservation that day, however30 minutes before we arrived we were informed that our table was given to a larger party . If you want your reservation honored, avoid Stone Street Tavern.
This place was very accomodating for our last minute party of 20. No dearth of alcohol selection or beer. They found us a table and kept us happy the whole night. Stone street is a great place if u have a rowdy crowd from work.
Great location in the Financial District.Always very crowded and loud when Ive been there. Not a great place to watch a game, as the TVs are small and old. Food is good, but menu is quite limited.
Great food, atmosphere, and service!
Not bad but considering there is no much competition around that area, Ill take it. Animated, good beer, fast service. Menu has some stars and fine print...... cmon ! Food is okay
Date night. We are both industry people so we love to get out of our restaurants and be taken care of. Rich table knows how to do it. We showed up early for our reso to get a drink at the bar. It was packed so they sat us ahead of schedule. Great. Nice window table and immediately got bubbles.Stand outs were the sardine chips, porcini doughnuts and beef tartare. Burrata was yummy too. Exceeded our expectations. The yummy honeycomb white chocolate taste was amazing.
They call this a dim light place for after work drinks and that is the only way to describe it, bad music, suspect service but the kind of place you would be dying to visit at 20 years old when you are working as an unpaid intern
Serendipitous! Searched for cozy Wall St. Spot on! The cobblestone street outside is amazing! Tough to find as the address is on the back side where you can SEE into the restaurant but cant get in without walking around the entire block even though the neighboring restaurants on both sides have access. Very ODD and no signage to explain this! Duh!
The wings were amazing! The atmosphere was comfy, the service was great, and the place was jumping with World Cup enthusiasts!
Stone Street in general was such a cool part of Manhattan to experience in general, but I especially enjoyed Stone Street Tavern! We stopped in for a drink and had local brews with the chicken quesadilla appetizer. The decor appears that they tried to keep as many historical elements as possible. Staff was friendly and offered recommendations for our next few days of vacationing.
Great food, not that expensive 25$ for lobster but a bit overcooked
A little pricey for a tavern, and too noisy outside but a great burger and a cool interior.
I enjoyed my time here. They have $6 Happy Hour wine.
Liked it, just had a beer but we liked the atmosphere and the bartender Jade was cool. Seems like a good place to hang. We were only there for 1 before moving on. Will be back.
Met up with old friends and we had a great time. Had no issues, would def go again.
It is always a great place for lunch or dinner
I came here for my finances 29th birthday. Mike was super attentive with our drinks. We appreciate the fast & friendly service.
Its a good pizza in a touristy place. So dont expect a top notch service. But its good enough.
Good food. Typical prices for the location. Drafts a little on the expensive side, selection limited. Friendly staff and inviting welcome. I had the Chorizo burrito and Tavern pilsner.
Terrible food, even worse service. Served “medium” steak that bloody and blue, and they were difficult and we were still given raw steak when asked to re-fire. None of the other dishes were better. Never going to the tavern again
The food is good. The staff is professional, courteous and pleasant. This place is usually busy with customers and the staff is more than up to the challenge.
Excellent environment and good service. Good place to chill and have a good talk...
They have the BEST Burger and steak around the neighborhood and the city! Chef is the best and service are great.
Good tavern food. Friendly service. Cool vibe with the outdoor seating in a car free Old NY street. Small beer glasses. Too loud music. Watched the Knicks game, which unfortunately had no sound even though the place is listed in the Bar Takeover section on the Knicks website.
This is a really fun after work drink spot. It’s a historical little bar, in the middle of Stone Street, which is when the oldest areas in New York City. Have a great selection of beer and drinks. The french fries are super yummy. Highly recommend this place
Fun place for a drink and food. Service was great, friendly and attentive!
We popped in on a sunny Friday afternoon and got the perfect table for our party that had 4 adults and 5 kids between 6 to 12. The food was perfection. Service was very attentive. Enjoyed the vibe and the energy after a day of visiting the sights and attractions. We will be back!
A good place to go after work, the staff is very accommodating and great with huge groups, the appetizers are good. I was there with a with a group of 15 and they remembered what everyone was drinking and eating and keep the refills flowing.
Very disappointed. I had high hopes cause the food looked good. But there was a hair in my food and the burger tasted frozen. I wont be back!
Get the Ultimate Hangover Burger. Burger comes with egg, bacon, and cheese, and is phenomenal. Pub has a decent beer selection, and is about average price for the area.
Delicious pizza! Quaint little place on Stone Street - really fun vibe in this area! Id love to come back on my next trip to the city!
The perfect spot for after work drinks. Opt for a spot at the bar rather than the crowded outdoor seating. Pair the Saffron Risotto Fritters with your drink of choice.
Awesome bar and live music was fantastic!
Tasty food in a great ambiance of a small tavern from the Financial District. It can be noisy (great place for drinking beer while watching sport events on screens) but you will find some tables to have quieter discussions. We ordered salads which were generous with lot of flavors. Staff is very friendly. Great time for a lunch (and probably evening and dinner)!
My second go-to place on Stone Street in lower Manhattan. Great service at the bar, excellent selection of craft beers. Very attentive service.
Stone Street Tavern is a hidden gem for those seeking a nostalgic, cozy, and welcoming dining and entertainment experience.
Great bar amazing service. Brian the bartender was very friendly and pours a fine Guinness
FRICKIN CHICKEN! 🐔 Loved these sweet sauce chicken wings from @stonesttavern. Plus, you can eat them outside with a cold beer on Stone Street, which is an experience in itself!
Nice place to grab a bite and drinks. They have a nice outdoor picnic style setup with umbrellas.
Best mojitos in town. A bit loud, but good vibes.
Great vibe, loved the drinks, cocktails, and food. I got the patio punch, delicious! Great place, but may be a little loud for a first date. Will add to our NY list!
Fun, busy place ‐ friendly bartender.
Best whiskey pours ever!!
Always a good time on Stone Street. Great energy, good food and drinks with friends what could be better!
Nice environment, great staff, and strong drinks.
Food was Okay. The salsa for the chips was dry not tasty. Too dry for chips tasted blend!
Good pub with a nice atmosphere, great chicken wings and nice location. We went in with 3 kids and was no problem
Great food, dont miss this place. Prompt service. You cant go wrong here.
Great customer service from bartender ...didnt get the chance to order food but saw others customers orders and presentation was on point.
The drinks are reasonably priced followed by there food menu.. the atmosphere is awesome.
Nice and lovely place beer is excellent and food too not cheap but it worth the visit!!!
Classic stone street Irish style pub.Good food choices reasonably priced for downtown nyc.I enjoyed the roasted chicken with potatoes and veggies.
Waitress refused to serve a major downtown law firm employee. Cited “attitude” when individual cited no preference as to the type of gin preferred. Inappropriate, humiliating, and rude.
Nice new york bar good food and good drinks, worth a dinner.
Outdoor dining was great. The food was very tasty.
Very solid food and great cold beer!
I love this place ❤️ friendly people
Excellent burger and fries for lunch and glad the establishment survived much of the pandemic. Must try.
Usual tavern bar food kind of place...their sliders are very good..my recommendation..good selection of beers as well
Best experience ever coming from LA the bar tender Kevin & Vald are the best made me feel so welcome 🎉🎉🎉
Decent Stone st pub - food is decent.
Tourist pricey... $18 for a sandwich and $8 for a domestic beer, but the food was good
Great place. Food was great and service was excellent. Sangria was delish.
Love this place. Such a beautiful vibe
Such a terrific place; fantastic food and staff could not be nicer.
So much to say about this bar. Great service from the staff here. The drinks are always good and cold, clean glass cups. If you come in a group they will help you with seats to feel comfortable. The music is always good here from Spanish to rap, hip-hop, chill or techno music. There are 2 clean big bathrooms for 1 person only. I havent had food here yet but always looks good when Im having drinks and someone orders next to me
Not a bad place on this lively concourse. The Burrito is actually very good!
I wouldn’t waste my time going unless you go early and have a certain look the staff was rude and the manager dismissed us. A friend and I attended and as soon as we walked in there was a customer having a problem with the staff .5/5 stars don’t waste your time there are better bars in area or you’re better off staying in your hotel.
Reyna is the best server ever!
Excellent Pizza and Fish
Excellent service good nachos and a great selection of beer decent prices too
Love the atmosphere In this place
Very cool place to chill after work with a group of friends. Tables on Stone street are available to chill.
Very nice tavern in the downtown district, service was excellent
Miguel is the best server there! Always a pleasure to stop by.
Swiss brunch Swedish meatballs, red cabbage, mashed potatoes, Logan berries...excellent!
Great place, limited beer but awesome food
Loved the vibe here with great music. Good service, late night eats and drinks.
Great spot for after work drinks in FiDi with a nice selection of craft beers and friendly staff.
Had a very good brunch burger on a Sunday afternoon
Great place, love the vibe on Friday evenings
Great bar in the financial district. Nice atmosphere. Im a vegetarian and the menu isnt huge for us but bigger than most places. Food was GREAT. Fried pickle app comes with other pickled stuff too. Homemade fried Mac and cheese was super good too. Service was excellent, it was not a slow night and bartenders were attentive and professional. I will be back.
This place was great! In the heart of the city, amazing outdoor seating, but electric atmosphere inside. The service was extremely prompt. The drinks were great and I would definitely you go back :)
The lobster roll I got could have been better stuffed and the truffle fries option wasnt worth the +$3 upgrade but the Guinness was good. Great service and a cozy atmosphere.Overall: too expensive for what I got, but a nice little place if money is no object.
My coworkers and I usually go on Wednesdays. The food, and service is always amazing! The Mac and cheese is amazing, the burgers are great and the drinks are nice. I wish they had lobster mac and cheese because then I would just move in there.
Very good.
Sat at a table for 20 minutes without receiving any service so we left and went to the Underdog (great spot) instead. 0/10
Good food, and was also able to have good conversations with a group of 7.
Great place for drinks and apps. Love the truffle fries
Good food good drinksKitchen closes 1130
Great bar tenders that bring the atmosphere and come with the best drinks! Cute vibe inside. Manager is on top of it too.
Great staff, good food, reasonable prices. Quite young audience (lots of ppl 20-25) when we were there a saturday night.
Two excellent dinners here. The food is splendid and the service very good. The steak frites was amazing. The atmosphere outside and in is great.
Been here 40 mins at 2:00 and still waiting for my motzerella sticks. Tons of managers checking things though, except their customers. Bartender is young, but nice. Shy though.
Great selection of draft beers. The Tavern Burger is awesome.
Food and drinks were good and a reasonable price for the area.
Great place for happy hour drinks! Passion fruit drinks are awesome!
Great service. Jocelyn was attentive to our needs. The food was good. Great value. We were also able to enjoy a show as it was karaoke night. I would definitely come again.
Great outdoor dining experience on Stone Street. The atmosphere is a great location to sit outdoors on the old streets of New York just minutes from famous attractions such as Wall Street and Battery Park. It is one of my favorite places to have lunch when I am working downtown. Simple menu yet delicious. I ordered a soup special and brussel sprouts. Highly recommend stopping in and exploring restaurants on this strip if you are heading on one of the ferries or working in the area.
Great service waitress was amazing
Great serviceGood drinks
Just ok, nothing particular. At least they have outdoor seating, and the food comes fast.
This place is trash, they charge automatically 20% gratuity for a party of two and kept trying to take plates that had food or drinks that had alcohol, will never come back again.
Slow service... Server took order but forgot about it as we waited, then came back to ask what wed like; like Groundhog Day.
Friendly service good range of beers and food.
Perfect
Righteous Tavern Burger. Avacado on the side for me. Delish
Excellent. Lobster roll great, beer whatever you want...
Very nice tavern to get drinks. They have seats indoors as well as outdoors during summer time. Drinks can be little pricier but it’s expected because of the location. Good tavern on the Stone Street. Recommended.
Tasty food, average costsIt was too cold inside
Terrible food, don’t come here
Miami party revelers tourists approved and recommend the facilities.
Super friendly staff and locals x great heritage venue. Stone street was the first street to be paved back when NY was called New Amsterdam x
The best lobster I have had.
Great place with really good drink specials. The all the food on the menu is really good. Stone Stone Street is the only place in NYC that allows drinks outside on the street. We had the Tavern Burger, Chicken Sandwich, and Lobster Roll and all of them were excellent and perfectly cooked.
Comfortable food ,great service
