Addictive? Hardly.Environment was beautifully decorated for Christmas. When I arrived for my reservation I was asked to wait and there was no bar so I was just standing there for 10 minutes. Without exaggeration, it was 200 million degrees kelvin in there. Everyone was roasting. The menu was fairly limited and the food was all crazy acidic. Between the heartburn and shvitzing, I couldn’t get comfortable. Oh - and we were told when we sat down there was an hour and half time limit on our table (which didn’t help with the shvitzing). Gee whiz. I will not be returning.

I visited this cute tapas restaurant in midtown Manhattan that doesnt come with the hefty midtown price tag.I opted for the restaurant week menu and was pleased to find that the same dishes are offered on the regular menu. The avocado tuna tartare and the lamb chops were delicious! The tartare had just the right amount of avocado and tuna, and the lamb chops were incredibly tender. I was so full after enjoying these two dishes that I barely had room for dessert. The wine list was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable.Happy hour is from 4-6pm with plenty of tapas. I cant wait to go back again!

All in all a great experience! We were very fortunate to have this place a block away from our hotel, and we were utterly charmed by the space and the decor. The food was very good and surprisingly reasonably priced for the location and atmosphere… portions small, of course, but three of us had an ample meal with wine for basically $100, which feels like a bargain these days. Great find!

Addictive Wine NYC is a gem in the heart of the city. From the moment you walk in, you are enveloped in a sophisticated yet cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a good glass of wine. The wine selection is impressive, with options to suit all tastes and budgets. The sommeliers are extremely knowledgeable and passionate, always ready to recommend the perfect wine based on your preferences. I tried several exceptional wines that I hadnt found anywhere else. The ambiance is ideal for both a romantic date and a night out with friends. The decor is elegant, and the background music creates a very pleasant experience. Additionally, they offer pairing options that perfectly complement the wines, further elevating the experience.Addictive Wine NYC is undoubtedly a place I will visit again and again. If you are a wine lover or simply looking for a special place to spend an evening, you cant miss this spot. Highly recommended!

Nice tapas. Good food and vibe.Ordered papas, pan con tomato, tabla de carne, mixta paella.Complementary bread dry as well as chorizo. Jamon very nice though. Pan con tomato warm and soft very nicely done.3 vino flight option flexible. Sangria ok.Bit salty olives but preference may be different. Paella one of the best for my taste bud. Even though small fry pen, not so salty, moist.Venue small. Among tapas, like Nacional on 14th St but location key, cozy.3% cash discount not so meaningful since many dining cards points similarly.

The spot where my fave Turkish spot Akdeniz once stood now is home to a new tapas spot and thankfully it did not disappoint! The space was beautifully decorated to almost feel like you were under a shaded canopy in some alleyway in a Spanish courtyard. Staff was very warm and kind and I appreciated our waiting suggestion that we are ordering too much so do a round 2 instead. Each dish was presented nicely and everything was flavorful and not under seasoned. Stand outs for me and my guests were the Camarones Al Ajillo: generous portion of large shrimp sauted in a ton of garlic, the albodigas: the meatballs were nicely seasoned and the tomato sauce was a perfect balance for them, pan de tomate: different from the usual version served in Spain since that is a piece of toasty bread with fresh garlic clove rubbed on it and then tomato almost smashed on top with some salt. This version was more of a warm Italian bruschetta with chunks of garlic chunks dotted between the chunks of marinated tomatoes; the cheese platter again was beautifully presented and generally portioned and we loved how perfectly the paella rice was cooked where the grains were not mushy and not too crunchy but this one was a bit on the saltier side; their tortilla Espanola was divine! Its located in Little Brazil, smack in the heart of Midtown east off of 5th Ave so a great spot to meet up for a date or a group happy hour or dinner. Space is TINY so reservations are recommended.I will be back!

What a great spot. Its quite narrow so ideal for two but no more than 4 people. Excellent tapas, we had hummus, chicken and brie, tuna and avocado salad, meatballs, creme brulee, and a bottle of Cava. Service was excellent, each plate was tastey and the place was warm and cozy. If youre in the area please stop in.

On anniversary night we found a great mid-town Manhattan tapas place within easy walking distance of the Hilton Garden Inn. I forget the name of this restaurant now, but this restaurant is small, cozy, and absolutely oriented toward romance, even on 46th Street. We ordered first calamari, then shrimp gambas; very good to dip bread in the juice. The mixed paella was truly flavorful, and the patatas bravas were nice although tortillas are one of my favorites. The chicken tapas were slightly too much cinnamon for our taste, and the chorizo, while tasty, was a bit too smoky-just overwhelming for my wife. But the salmon course was great. Overall, this was a super meal in a very warm setting.

Festive Christmas decor and woody interior makes it a perfect place for a winter happy hour or dinner after work. It is a casual place, so no need to dress up.

From someone who’s been to Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Costa Rica, DR, the Virgin Islands, and other Mediterranean destinations, I was disappointed with this Spanish restaurant.Although this place looks stunning when you first walk in (the lighting makes for a wonderful ambiance and the decor adds brilliant charm) the food and service is poor.My mom and I came here for dinner after a day trip to the city and we were captivated by the place when we first walked in. We were sat fairly quickly and told to scan the QR code for the menu and were then directed to pictures of every menu item which made us salivate. My mom ordered the lamb over hummus and tomatoes while I took the paella mixta. We shared the burratta with Serrano ham over arugula which we both agreed was quite appetizing. When it came to to our entrees, my mom thought hers was cooked 20 minutes before mine because the whole dish was cold. The lamb, which was actually very tender and delicious, did not pair well with the cold hummus and tomatoes. By the time it came to the table, the lamb was cold and my mom asked if that was normal.I ordered the paella mixto which I DO NOT RECCOMEND ANYONE TO ORDER PAELLA HERE! It was incredibly bland and lacked so many flavors that are essential to classic paella I’ve had in dozens of other restaurants around the world. I think the owner/ chef should go to don pepe or seabras in Newark to get some inspiration for their paella.Additionally, a great tapas spot near me that this restaurant may gain some inspiration from is xunta in Caldwell, Nj.And I forgot to mention, my mom and I both felt incredibly sick and had to rush to the bathroom about an hour after leaving here.

Another nice surprise access from the Hilton Garden Inn. It was our anniversary dinner and this place rocked. Such a cool little place with good vibe. The service was great and the food was excellent. We started with calamari. The shrimp gambas were sooo good. Dip the bread in the sauce for extra goodness. We loved the mixed paella, so flavorful. The potatas bravas were nice, but I always love the tortillas. The chicken tapas were good, but not our favorite…….very cinnamony. The chorizo dish was very good, but Smokey. My wife thought the smoke was a bit much. The salmon dish was delicious. Loved this meal!

We have to return. The place is very cute and has a nice vibe, but the day of our reservation ( we went for early dinner) they were having problems, not sure if it was in the kitchen or the servers, they seemed confused and not organized. The manager is this amazing person, very personable and you can tell with a high level of costumer service, but at the end they did not delivered as expected, nevertheless, the tapas were delicious, except the octopus that came cold and the taste was not there.. the wine and dessert on point! We want to try them again because we feel that this was just a hiccup on that night and a cute place like this deserves it.

We had set up a reservation through the website via an email which was great as they texted me to confirm. We got there and quickly we were sat. The start of the evening was great, as we had water to start and immediately looked at the food. We has ordered the restaurant week special. Appetizers were fantastic. The crispy salad was like your berry salad with goat cheese and the avocado salad and tartar was so light and refreshing. Unfortunately it went down hill from there. We had ordered a wine flight to go with dinner which never came and with the seafood pasta we received one mussel which was closed. I get having one closed if you have a bowl of them, not one. That was completely unacceptable coming from a restaurant to serve bad seafood. The filet was great with the mash potatoes and asparagus. The reduction is a bit sweet as an FYI. Then dessert. Dessert took at least 15 minutes to come to the table. We did time it because we thought it was taking a while. Check took another 8 minutes after dessert. Dessert was great with the fresh berries. Just the service was lacking in attention.......Update: There was a max of 6 tables in the restaurant with 2 servers. To say it was busy I can not imagine when it is full.

3 hours before our reservation on the weekend of christmas, the hostess called us and claimed they had “overbooked” on their end. Leaving us to scramble and find another place to eat for 6 people on a friday night. The host on the phone couldnt have been any less helpful. As Jerry Seinfeld said anyone can take a reservation but keeping it is the most important part, embarrassing behavior.Edit: Since this clown wants to lie about what was said on a private call, that presumably he was not privy to, the hostess asked us to move out reservation back an hour, not a half an hour. Since we had a show to make, clearly that would not work. No alternative option was presented and no apologies were offered for the screw up on part of the restaurant. The offering of us not waiting in the cold is an absurd remark considering thats why we made a reservation, and decided not to walk in randomly. Hope you have a good holiday bud.
