Place is dirty, bugs crawling under the tables and in the chairs. Hookah is over priced. Always people fighting and screaming inside. Not worth your money.

I would give the place 1 stat but the staff was friendly. As a hookah enthusiast who has smoked around the world this place was just lacking. The hookahs were expensive for it to be just your standard cage hookahs the coals werent quick lights so that was a plus however the first place i sat had MULTIPLE nail clippings in the seat that were obvious as soon as i sat down the flavors were standard the food portions were small and to top it off the owner or manager was smoking a hookah that looked better than what we the patrons were smoking which is a slap in the face. Like you sell us this but you smoking that. Again the staff was nice but i would not recommend.

Warm atomsphere, great location, and the only hookah that stays out until 2AM EVERYDAY

Food is great, drinks are generously and meticulously made, and hookah is first class. I have a hookah business myself and have always been a critic, but no complaints here quality and longevity of the smoke i get here, which is why its become a favorite of mine, and a daily destination! Good staff and service, mature crowd, good music... dont take my word for it, check it out!

As far as Adar goes i havent eaten in the lounge part of the resturant but the cafe part of this place is unreliable some days its open for business and some days it isnt open for no apparent reason. So if thats the case with the front part of this place i dont even want to chance the other part. I give it 3 stars only because the place is there which is worth something and that it looks nice if only there was some consistency about when it would be open i could then give it a more valid rating. So for now Adar is in limbo not good or bad just there.

Ive visited Adar twice so far and each time the experience is even better. Food is awesome, service is awesome and the crowd is always good. Staff mix and mingle like patrons making it a very friendly atmosphere.

I like this place.I happened upon the Adar Lounge while in search of some coffee to go with my lunch, and a pleasant, warm place to enjoy both -- and thats just what I found. My Americano espresso was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced for the area, and I was served by a friendly and attentive barista who made me feel quite at home. With that, I proceeded to have a delightful lunch in the storefront, drinking good coffee while reading a good book and eating good food, watching as Park Avenue poured past the windows -- superb! I left feeling nourished and satisfied, and if ever in NYC again, I would gladly return to the Adar Lounge.My sincere thanks goes out to all associated with this business. I am grateful for, and have benefited from, your work and service. Keep it up, everybody!

Discovered this brand new coffee shop on my way to work. The owner is great and super attentive. Great coffee, great baked good, and superb environment.

Great hookah gem. The owner has been in neighborhood for many years. I look forward to visiting this place again this summer.

Nice quiet place to take a friend. Music is not too loud where you dont have to yell at who ever youre talking to. The food was really good as well.

First of all, kinda dirty place... not a rich menu, and service is also lower than medium. No dessert menu, no coffee or tea at night. Mostly hookah is preferred with any dessert but they don’t have it.Ok now about hookah itself... very poor quality, already used coal and not good environment to stay long and enjoy the hookah. I would give minus star for this place .

This is a kool little spot in harlem, If you wanna do hookah and have a drink. The food was just ok. The place is very dated and can use some repairs but the atmosphere was kool for a thursday evening.

No body hardle speak s english. Didnt like the service throw my food togather when i wanted to take home my left overs smh and very pricey and ovee charged me on my bill only thing is the food is very good but thats it

Easy to find on the conner of Park Ave. Very clean and relaxed atmosphere. Drinks and food were good. Hookah was even better. I am going back for more fun times.

The owner is personable, friendly and attuned to patron care. I come for the lamb shank. You will not regret it!

I came by for hookah with a friend. First of all...cover was $20 each, on a Monday night, which is insane even for NYC. The interior is super basic and just looks low budget.The hookah was good, but they were playing music so loudly that you couldnt hold a conversation and the speakers sounded like they were about to blow out.

Definitely Harlems BEST KEPT Secret!!! The service was Top Notch. Very warm and welcoming to us. We were treated like VIP. The Drinks were great. The Garlic Shrimp was amazing. Nice Vibe-

Im Sick of the lame restaurants in the area. Same old bars? Back off! I need a unique outlet. A place with an awesome friendly environment. With an owner that greets you and cares about you. Where happy hour dont end till 8pm. Adar is that place. I go here weekly. Its the bomb. Food? Amazing. Get a strawberry hookah. A margarita. And the kebab. And youll forget about all your problems.

Very laid back the drinks are great the lighting is perfect and so was the music. Literally one block from 6 train and three blocks from 2 and 3 train. Had a great time with friends. This will definitely be our indoor summer spot although its open all year around.
