Ive been to this Treadwell Park location many times across the years. Its great for having larger parties because of their large tables. They also have a nice selection of beer. I havent had their food (other than their free popcorn) so I cannot comment on that. We always have a great time at Treadwell!
I only came here to hang with friends for book club. My friends enjoyed the food and the service was nice. A new thing of water was delivered to our table every 5 minutes. A rather nice experience. Only complaint is the music was turned up a little too high.
First time at Treadwell Park uptown and we’re definitely coming back! They have ping pong table, popcorn machine, pinball and even lots of different board games you can bring to your table. The service, food and drinks were on point. Loved it!
This place was pretty cool altogether. They have some nice long tables arranged to sit at, ping pong tables, and other table games. The giant pretzel was to die for.It was pretty busy when I went so service was a bit slow due to the sheer volume of people.Nevertheless, it was a good time and the food/drinks were very enjoyable. I had few of the Kolsch beers and they were very easy to drink.Check it out!
Stopped here with my boss and his family for dinner.Prompt and friendly service. I had the burger and it was outstanding. Everyone at the table had the same experiences with their food.Great atmosphere... we watched most of the Boston/Hawks game.Highly recommend 👌
Very decent spot and I enjoyed a truly delicious beer here, which alone makes the place worth visiting. However, my overall experience was somewhat diminished which I will not disclose about TV channels and denied requests.
Treadwell has a groovy and fun atmosphere! The walls are lined with large screen TVs and theres a corner with pinball machines and table tennis. Dont forget to get a free bag of popcorn at the machine! We ordered from the brunch menu:- The brisket and eggs were done well. It was topped with sunnyside eggs and mouth watering spicy BBQ sauce.- The egg, bacon, and avocado sandwich was delicious. The eggs were fluffy and the pickled vegetables paired really well with the creamy avocado.Theres a nice craft beer selection here as well. We can see ourselves coming back for dinner.
We had an assortment of beers for Oktoberfest and the brat platter and turkey leg. The turkey leg could have used more lemon and thyme and the bbq sauce was unnecessary, but the meat itself was fall off the bone soft. The sauerkraut with those brats were the best. The variety of brats on offer was nice but we werent crazy about the warm potato salad. It wasnt bad, but not a preference. Our server Kemon was wonderful!
Awesome place to have beer and foods.you can play pingpong as well!!!!!!spacious and great service/attention from server. our server(Bree) was surprisingly amazing and made date night. Thank you Bree👏🏻
I was here for trivia night 9/16/24 .. on Mondays! It was fun and the prizes were $50 and $25 and they have beer prizes for rounds of trivia! Had a few of their beers! Lots of New York breweries. I love trying some of them!I was at the bar area and the bartender was attentive and knowledgeable! Iove the free popcorn!
Nice venue excellent drinks the brunch food was decent but pricey. Wasn’t impressed with the burger. Its a big space to cover for 1 to 2 servers. Kudos to the the food runners and the host Annabelle for working hard!
We love going there for free popcorn and table tennis as well as a few other arcade games. They have a very good atmosphere and nice cocktails. It is a bit pricy and gets kind of crowded for the happy hour.
I kind of stumble in! And the five lamp had an amazing offer🤨Sports weekend slow cook wings and a bucket of beers all for a great price and great atmosphere.Five Lamp we need more events like that...🤩
Spacious with a decent drink selection. They list their menu on Untappd, and the Untapped menu said it was updated within the last day, which normally is an automatic five stars from me. But their Untapped menu was bizarrely incorrect. None of the 22 top-rated drinks on that menu were actually available.
Love the place food and games! Super pet friendly tooooooo!
Sadly I forgot to take pictures because the food was surprisingly great! I live around the neighborhood for 21 years and this is the first time coming to the restaurant. The service was pleasant, the manager is very delightful and most of all the food and drinks were phenomenal.Update for the 2022 experience:Would come again lol. Came with my niece and my sisters this time and we had a very enjoyable time. Played some games and ate good food.
Treadwell Park has an awesome rotating beer selection, great cocktails, large open space bar area, larger community picnic table area, outdoor seating, ping pong, pinball, free self-serve popcorn, AND really outstanding food. You can think of it as a mostly indoor biergarten. They also have a 32 oz. canning machine, so if you fall in love with something on tap, you can take it home fresh. Love this place.
Great spot for a beer or comfort foods with Bavarian inspiration. Great beer selection, including my favorite Trappists. Rib Eye is perfect, and the giant pretzel is awesome!
Great selection of beers!Cool atmosphere
This bar is absolutely fantastic! The food and drinks are top-notch, and the staff is world-class. They have a free popcorn machine and board games, which is a nice touch. I highly recommend checking this place out!
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff! Food was good too, not amazing, but good. Varied selection of beers. Definitely worth it for the ambience!
Good place real American atmosphere, good craft beer and the tastiest giant bretzel ever 🙌🏼
This place is my go-to beer hall! 🍻 Come in for the endless variety of beers and drinks 🍺 but stay for the free popcorn 🍿 they serve every table. The giant pretzel is a must! 🥨 Mac & Cheese is also great. I wish they had loaded nachos.
My favorite neighborhood bar. Service is amazing. Great selection of beer. Food=best bar food I have had in NYC. The managers always take care of you if something isnt right. This was the last place we went before covid and the first place we went once outdoor dining was open again!
A very cozy and homie pub. Bre our bartender was amazing personality on point will definitely come back.
Good selection of beers, when we went it was kinda drafty and the heat seemed to be turned off at some point.
Im not a huge fan of these types of restaurants but it was a wonderful experience. Service was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. For Manhattan its reasonable priced. Definitely get the sliders. As you read my reviews, I value superior service over average product. This place is not average and the service was on point.
Good price for beer flights on Tuesday . Wings are good and burgers as well
The food was fine but when my whole party ordered drinks…The bartender was a complete jerk- he was rude over all and just seemed like he didn’t want to serve. Maybe someone woke up in the wrong side of the bed or find a job without customer service pal.😂
The beer selection is vast and excellent. The highlight was the spicy Mezcal Margarita – simply the best. Great space for groups, perfect for celebrations like the fantastic birthday party we had. Highly recommend!
The Chef’s Burger was the best burger I’ve had in a long time, cooked perfectly at medium rare. Excellent service by Jorge. We will be back!!
Great service, casual friendly with awesome selection of beers
Camila our server was the best! Great ambiance, food and service. Def will be back!
Super good food, great beer, friendly staff, and a positive vibe! what more could you ask for?
Love this place! love the fish and chips! happy hour is reasonably priced! good deal! bartender Bree is fast and friendly and attentive! we always have a great time here! love the cool vibe of the place!
This is place is AWESOME! Amazing energy, free popcorn, and the best soft pretzel I’ve ever had! The popcorn was so salty and perfect. The service is great. Great place to socialize with friends, colleagues, and family. Pet freaking friendly! Are you kidding!? Unmatched anywhere else in NYC. Did I mention the service is great? Can’t wait to stop by again soon!
Solid, easy, convenient sports bar which is kid friendly and accommodates large parties. Lunch/Dinner food is decent but brunch food is pretty average. Also service is slow…tons of wait staff but seems inefficient. One person can’t take an order for another (even if it is to ask for Mayo). Also they need to replace/upgrade half of their TVs and add a couple.
Great spot for some quick eats. They have ping-pong foosball etc. great spot
When you want unlimited mimosas and food they really serve you and come to you every 20 mins. I didnt finish my drink and they kept coming to ask me. As well as letting me know it was the final round.
Loud, so so bites and brash waiters, exactly what a sports bar should be!
Nice place to have a drink on a table outside .The food is pretty good
Awesome place to bring friends/family visiting NYC. Great beer menu and decent food selection, but the atmosphere, space and games is what really differentiate it from other spots. Always has sports on, pool, ping pong, cards and table games are all available free of charge. And the space is really large for a NYC bar. Great place
Excellent service. Tad bit pricey, however, when you’re dining and partying hard with friends, this place feels more and more like home. Trust and believe, the quality of the food is unmatched and it will save your life, IF needed. Be well.
I was pleasantly surprised, for a German style bar they have a great food selection and it’s cooked perfectly. We had sliders, brisket tacos and eggplant appetizer. Everything tasted amazing. The menu was very extensive they had some amazing sounding options. Will definitely try to come back to try more.
Have been a few times and most recently for trivia, shout-out to Bree behind the bar for the extra hospitality. Felipe also took great care of us! Trivia was cool and they also have games like jenga and ping pong plus tvs for sports.
The food was okay. My salad was too sweet. The steak with asparagus and mashed potato was too oily. The fudge brownie was too sweet as well. It was too relaxed for me. I never like to go to places where you seat yourself. The service was very relaxed. Not the place to go if you want to be in.and out quickly.
Good food and drinks (eggplant salad is nice; IPA is tasty).Nice vibe and music.Service is kind but a little slow.Happy hour pricing is awesome!
Absolutely loved my time here! Kemon was the best and helped me get settled in the atmosphere. Great fries and chicken also.
Spacious American bar with good seating able to best accommodate groups of 6 and has free board/card games + open ping pong tables. Only draw backs are the servers (who are slow) and the drink prices (surprisingly inflated). $16 a drinks. 3.5/5 stars as a night bar.
Easily one of the best drinking spots in the city. They serve up good bar food too. I love coming here for a big game. Perfect for Saturdays and NFL Sunday. We stopped by during the NYC marathon and had a blast. They have ping pong, pinball, and a huge space perfect for large parties. Don’t sleep on their espresso martini!
Sooo cute for Christmas! Great beer and pretzels. Ask for Erica at the door
This place used to have the best burger (chefs burger) ever but they changed the bread a few months ago. It used to be perfect. It is still good - the best in the menu - but I really wish they come back to the previous bread. I have tried other food such as the fried zucchini (a little too oily and not that crispy) and pork nachos, which comes in individual setting (very weird, I have to say, since it’s not group-friendly) with a little pork on the top. Never saw this in my life and would never order again, unless they make it a real portion. Anyways, I really love their hamburger (chefs burger) and it’s the best you will find around the area, just help me telling them to switch back the bread. The atmosphere is insanely good, with a lot to have fun and have a nice chat. The popcorn and selection of beers are perfect!
An excellent German brewery in a very convenient location of Manhattan. My score is only 4 stars because of the brioche the Hamburger was excellent but the Brioche was not fresh, fell apart when eating the burger pity, it could be a perfect burger. Other than the brioche the burger meat was excellent and the chilled wheat beer was very refreshing.Treadwell is highly recommended.
Nice and big. Good for groups. Hostess was kind of rude, waitor was awesome. Food ranged from below to above average.. I had a great burger that was basically ruined by a bun that tasted very papery and disintegrated before I was half done with the burger. The pretzel is gigantic and awesome (2 person or more), the fish and chips were very tasty as well. Portions are generous. Beer selection was great. I will probably go back at some point.
🍁Canadian reviewLove it really nice mimosa 30$ per pers.90 min bottomless ! They have games , fun vibe really good music and perfect for a 2-4 brunch !Upper east side !
The food was delicious. The big pretzels were extremely good. They had a popcorn machine and ping pong tables. Do not worry about having to bring your paddles. They already have them. The staff is also very nice and kind. Overall a really nice place.
This was a cozy place. A close friend decided to celebrate his birthday there, and the experience was grade A. The food was good, the service was great, and the cigar selection was pretty good. My wife and I will definitely return for a date night.
Pretty cool spot for drinks and some games with friends. Food was ok. Free fresh popcorn was a nice touch. My gripe with Mr Treadwell… the women’s bathroom. You can basically see the person in the stall next to you. I was able to see the color of shirt of the woman in the neighboring stall. I ran. Immediately. That is very weird and uncomfortable. Enough for me to never want to come back here unfortunately.Ownership should rethink this.
Great spot for a beer (or two) after work. They have an amazing selection of imported beers so you wont be left thirsty. Their food options arent the best as the menu is pretty basic but the giant pretzel is a decent choice. It gets quite crowded during happy hour time but its a nice atmosphere! Probably the best choice of the area for a beer!
Very fun and lively place! Great spot to pop in for some appetizers and a drink. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
Great bar with amazing beer selection. Free popcorn! The waitstaff is amazing here, Jonathan is one of the best, ask for him. They have a great area for outdoor seating and dog friendly, offering water bowls at every table. The food’s fantastic, including all the bratwurst dishes!
Fun place to grab drinks, good music and games to play. They had a good variety of board/party games as well as 2 ping pong tables. The only thing that bothered me before my first beer was that the noise level was unusually louder than most places (people talking and music, but maybe the space itself might carried sound differently, who knows). Still, had lots of fun, great place overall.
Great trivia at 7:30s on Monday. The popcorn is fantastic and the drinks are delicious. Will definitely return!
My friends and I came in on Saturday for some drinks and apps and had a great time! The place was busy but felt safe and our server Jose always made sure we were taken care of. We shared the pretzel which was huge. Good food and drinks, we’ll be back soon!
Treadwell is fantastic, and were so lucky to have it in our neighborhood. A true gem on the upper east side, theyve got a bunch of activities like ping pong, board games and pinball machines. Beer selection is top notch, and the menu is constantly changing. Service is great, and theyve got TVs all over the place showing obscure sporting events. You cant go wrong with any entree, and the portions are large. For a fun casual vibe, you wont go wrong with Treadwell!
Good beer selection. Nice picnic benches to sit on for large parties. Need to order from the waiter if going to sit on benches. They have a ping pong table and popcorn. Couple other games. Not a great television set up so dont know if I would recommend for a game. Great for happy hour spot.
Decent bar with a lot of TVs and free popcorn. Albeit the salty popcorn is a bit stale nut what can you expect. One other note is that they only carry specialty beers so if youre looking for domestics, then you may have to go somewhere else. All in all, decent if im looking for complimentary popcorn.
Every time I came here I had unpleasant experiences. I always hope it will change, and I am always disappointed. Poor service, from the time a server refused to change the charge of beers which were more expensive than what the menu stated. To the rudeness of its manager Jean, who is certainly not qualified to run a place like this. The place has the potential to be the best and most popular bar in the neighborhood but poor management are leaving it behind.
Excellent selection of beers with steady rotation. Always a fan of the wurst sampler. The jambalaya is excellent as well. I havent tried anything from the menu I didnt like and they also do specialty menus on occasion. Warning: If you order the pretzel, it is massive. Delicious, but massive.
Overall: Treadwell is a good spot for larger parties looking for drinks and good vibes. The good: The bar is a bit on the larger side which is nice, especially for our larger group that strolled in without a reservation. We were more or less seated immediately, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They have some great beer options and that are priced well, and the food menu is suitable to fit the needs. The not-so-good: The cuban sandwich was tough and hard to eat. The bread was over-cooked and the meat was dry. Not much else wrong with the place, but nothing was overly-impressiveAtmosphere:8/10Service: 8/10Food: 5/10
This is a fun place! Its set up like a beer hall, so seating is communal. They have several tables outside. It gets really busy during happy hour, but for brunch on the weekends youll find it filled with families with young kids. They have free popcorn and lots of board games!
Loved treadwell park. Great food, service, atmosphere. We went on a Thursday night and sat outside. Inside was a bit loud. The bathrooms could use some love. All in all would go back.
I guess gretter was the bartender. bust she was so rude and quick to kick our group of people out because they were getting ready to cater to a kids party and we were a group of 9. we all decided to leave and go to sea and salt.
A very cool place on 1st Avenue Manhattan. Had great appetizers. They also had games, pinball machines and other fun things to do. A great bar with good food with excellent service. If youre looking for someplace quiet , not the place, enjoy.
Great drinks. Beers. Wines. Mix drinks. Delicious gourmet food. Steaks. Delivery available. Razonable prices. To take out. And street dine. Large space.
Came here when I was on vacation. Espresso martini was amazing and the music set the mood for the night!
Drink was very sweetTruffle fries had very big potato piecesZucchini fries had next to nothing size of zucchini in them.Overall the space was good clean and managed
Great food and beer selection. The staff are incredibly attentive and kind. Two ping pong table in the back as well as several pinball machines. Good number of TVs and they do not hesitate to put on any game you ask for.
John the bartender is so incredible! Tip that man!
Treadwell is great, but has gotten quite expensive. The food just keeps creeping up, and it’s hard to find a draft beer on the menu under $10. Their happy hour is a joke, offering basically no discount.
Very poor service. We had no assigned waiter. Our order was finally taken after 15 minutes by a waiter going off shift. There was no relief. The drinks took another 10-15 mins and still no appetizer. Our waitress finally showed up and told us the food was coming. We finally left without the food 10 min later. We saw several tables express their frustration with the service. It wasnt even busy. Not a good night for you guys.
Nice and well furnished bristo/pub. Its a very large place not usual for the city. You can go to drink a beer and have fun with friends or sit and eat your meal. The food is good and is usually served in very particular plate, something like boxes... The music is good as well. There are several TV to watch football match or sports in general. I definitely recommend this place! 😉
This is a high 3 Star or maybe it should be a soft 4. I wanted to like the craft beer tavern more, but there were just too many small issues which combined to bring it down a bit. We went at lunchtime on a weekend and the space itself is great; open and airy with big wooden tables and plenty of space between them. It is especially family friendly and there were plenty of young children and parents. The downside was the service was very slow (we waited 20mins to order) and while it was friendly there were a few mistakes both in the food delivered and the final bill. The burger we ordered was fantastic, but the French fries were cold. All in all, I’d return here and give it another go and hope this was just a one off negative experience.
Overpriced for what it is but your typical beer garden feel with craft beer instead of German beers. We sat upstairs where they had decent free popcorn and 2 ping pong tables and 4 pinball machines. 4 things we asked for off the menu they were out of including the cask beer and Cesar salad. My friend ordered thick cut bacon for $14 and only got 1 piece.... I ordered the sliders and they were actually really good. A neat aspect of the beer menu is all the drafts (if they havent run out) are available as 4 oz pours so you can essentially make your own flight, but that gets pricey.
They have friendly service. It took a while to pay though.
Fun times! I recommend the giant pretzel!! Amazing! The craft beer selection is extensive! Great selections.I love their oktoberfest beers! Hofbrau and paulaner are my favorite! Love the pigs in the blanket too and junior burger for the win! I also had their pinot noir! Its delicious service was fast and friendly. They explained to us different beers according to our preferences. Will come back!
Its a nice place with a great vibe and a great selection of craft beer! They also have free popcorn and ping pong. A great hangout for groups.
I didnt eat so I cant comment on the food. Service was good but the selection of beers was atrocious. Youre going to sit on 2nd Avenue and you can chill beside bumper to bumper traffic and sirens. No thanks.
Chill bar.. Nice pinball machines...Good beer...
Cozy place with good service and food and drinks. Good vibe and great music.
Good beer selection. Food was decent. Fun looking place. Service was horrible. Waiter couldnt remember drink orders. Was smelling our beers to tell what was what. Forgot orders. Mandatory charge of 20% gratuity for our party of 8. Just terrible service.
Just picked up a few bottles of Cantillon that I literally could not find anywhere else. The staff (bartender and seemed like possible manager or possible server??) could not have been more friendly and helpful. What a breathe of fresh air after a very stressful afternoon of Christmas shopping. I also had 2 beers and the calamari and the calamari was awesome as well as the beer list. I love this place so much and will def be back!!! Thank you guys!!
Great night! Get the soft pretzel!
Solid beer menu, food for our group was all good and the server did a good job, even when it was a busy Saturday evening. The only downside in my opinion is that theres have to be something on the design of this place but its one of the loudest ones that Ive been recently, people talking totally overruns the music.
The potatoes are very hard, and the salad bowl is very small..
Great facility with ample energy, solid beer selection, ping pong table, pinball machines. Consists primarily of a beer garden style seating. Server was informative and thorough...unfortunately food was not as good as advertised, but willing to try again.
Huge spot with tons of games, popcorn, and tables. Large selection of rotating craft beer that truly must be seen to be believed. Great happy hour and I think there is also a late week night one. Tons of TV for all your sports needs.
Ive been here three times. The food is good but nothing spectacular. The service is horrible. I just sat outside for 25 minutes. No server had come outside from either exit. People had just gotten their good and hadnt had anyone check if it was alright or if they needed anything. I get its busy and chaotic but if you need more servers, hire them. If your servers called out, I get it, it happens but that means management picks up the slack. This makes me really sad because its one of the few places nearby with a draft list I like.
The food was good but the service was terrible. I felt ignored and had to keep asking for things that should have come with the meal /service. I was also made to wait long after I was seated in the cold, again, long after the time it takes to look over a menu. The tall, black waiter (I didnt get his name) that night should not be serving if he is going to be in a bad mood. I will never go back.
Great place to eat outside. Burgers are great, service is fast and nice
Great beer selection. Lots of space and a fun beer hall atmosphere. Pretty empty on a Sunday night. Grilled cheese and pork tacos were both tasty. A great addition to the area.
John and Bree took great care of us and were so sweet!!!!!!
Awesome place to come with a group. I like the beer options and the service. Free popcorn and ping pong. Jenga and other board games are also available. Get the GIANT pretzel. Good food.
Server(Young male with long, dirty-blonde hair and glasses) aggressively addressed me about paying my bill; the time was approximately 10:50pm. Up until that point everything had been fun and jovial. He made the decision to act tough and make demands; he was rude . I won’t go back. There are plenty of places who will, at least act like they appreciate your business, this isn’t one of those places. We weren’t belligerent or obnoxious or in anyway rude or disrespectful . He decided to take his anger and aggression out on us. I’ll gladly discuss this further should someone ask. No one from Treadwell will though. I’ll let you know if they do.
Woody interior evocative of a ski hotel. Lots of space and some games like ping pong so great for large groups and parties.A bit pricey, i tend to think beer halls should strive to be a bit more cost effective. Beer selection was decent and it seems like they get an interesting can selection, but my IPA was canned 6 months old, and thats something you need to pay attention to ifnyoure going to bill yourself as a.craft beer bar.
Huge wooden tables in a real bierhall atmosphere. Great food...free popcorn! I took any excuse to go here. Can get obnoxiously loud with the after work crowd, but lovely when not so busy. Wish it was open for lunch.
Great beer and good vibes
This is place is AWESOME! Amazing energy Good Drinks and food our waitress (Camila) was so Kind and sweet will definitely come again.
Always crowded, loud, slow service obnoxious beer garden-style pub. Outdoor seating is popular but you’re literally sitting in 1st Avenue traffic. I don’t understand why this place is so popular when there are better, less mass-produced bars nearby like One Lennox, Baker Street or the Spotted Dog where you don’t have to wait 20 mins for service and you don’t get shoved around by a giant bunch of drunken jocks. Avoid unless you just turned 21.
We sat at the bar hoping someone would serve us. We eventually got a drink, which we drank. And then waited for someone to help us drink another. It didn’t happen. And we had to work to get our check. Not going back. Also, had a terrible New Year’s Eve at this place last year. Do not recommend.
Extremely noise place. Impossible to maintain a comfortable conversation. Service is very slow anf the burger is at best just average. Draft beer selection is pretty good though.
A bit overhyped place - beers are precisely for the quality and ambiance. The food was really bad and overpriced - won’t advice anyone to order food here except the fries. The chicken was hard, undercooked and slider sauce is yuck. Also, they use a different cheese than the regular one for Mac n cheese and you can expect a grainy texture to the dish.
Place is always a solid midtown east bar. Highly recommend for beers with friends and a large group or even a date! Food is just ok. Highly recommend for a fun get together as there is popcorn and fun games in the back.
Loved the food. This is a great place for family brunch- relaxed atmosphere to chill with family
Hoping the food will eventually arrive, the outdoor tables are awesome but waiting 20 min for your beer and having absolutely zero sense of urgency around serving the patrons is a bit hard to manage. Maybe if they see this post they’ll come out and ask us if we might possibly want a 2nd drink....doubtful.
Came on a Friday after work to meet friends and I was prepared for a mess, but the service was great. Only complaint is that the Lawsons Sip of Sunshine IPA was far from fresh and thats inexcusable. Switched to cans of Firestone Pivo and Half Acre Daisy Cutter, and they were delicious.
Been coming here for the past month with friends I gotta say the food is great and the drinks are great but most importantly the staff I think is what keeps it amazing!!! Especially my favorite bartender Ariel she makes the most delicious drinks and her friendly smile and her attentiveness is what keeps me coming back, definitely would recommend this place.
Good venue for happy hour reservations. Free popcorn is a nice quirk and plenty of space to enjoy a night out!
Really nice place to hang out with a group of friends, specially if you happen to like beers. The place has a pretty extensive beer menu including a cask beer. The only down side is that the place can be VERY loud, which makes it difficult to talk with your friends.
Good beer and food, little pricey. The ping pong tables should be farther from the pinball machines, and the machines should be serviced more often. Other than that, a pretty cool spot
Great service, good beer good vibes
The food was good. Service great. Typical neighborhood bar atmosphere, loud! But we were there for the food. Def return again.
Great vibes every time. Staff are on point and helpful. We could live off your appetizers! So delicious!Great view of a TV no matter where you sit, large enough for parties or find a cozy spot of you prefer solo time.Plenty of area inside and out with games and fun to no end. Superb selection of beers of course.
Great after work place for young professionals. Gets really crowded toward 6PM onwards Thursday & Friday. Main complaint is that music is usually too loud, not trying to have a yelling match
Great place to hangout, there is ping pong, foosball table and free popcorn. The beer selection is fantastic. winter special bourbon hot cider is a MUST TRY!!
Great venue for watching sporting events. Food is pretty good, though seems pricey. Beer selection is expansive. Occasionally it can be a bit too crowded.
The bar was good but they don’t have all NFL games! I was told they don’t even have red zone! Why have TVs if you can’t even show basic sporting events. The beer and food was good. Service was ok
I come here on occasion with my boyfriend, we love the vibe, the food, and the drinks. Have to say though, this last visit was our absolute best due to the fantastic customer service by Jonathan. Great energy, great recommendations, and just great service. Thank you!!!
Great food and selection of beers here! It was pretty noisy inside (a Thursday evening around 8:30) so we sat outside. Good service too
This place has great food and their cocktails are amazing too. Definitely recommend the pretzel to share with a group. Prices are fair too.
Fun place to meet for a friends birthday. Very chaotic though and tough to get sevice especially in the table area.
I had a lovely time at brunch and the staff including management was amazing! Despite there being a large party that was loud, messy, and rude, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
Happy to see they beefed up their happy hour menu this week, the food was great, service was prompt and most importantly I felt really safe, tabled were clean, servers wore masks and gloves and there are barriers between each table
Erica was a great server. Cool bar. Love the neon sign!
Good food. Super good beer selection. Glen at the bar is a wiz at conversation and beer. The atmosphere and space is solid as well. Definitely recommend.
Can get crowded, but great bar. Bierhall style wooden benches. Table tennis, pinball, good beer selection. Good bites.
Mediocre food. Pita bread that came with artichoke dip tasted stale and oil-soaked at the same time. Jambalaya tasted like rice with a ton of Tabasco poured on it. Decent cocktails though.
My favorite bar in the area. They change their draught list twice daily and always have top notch local and craft selections. Service is great and food is tasty
This bar is undoubtedly my absolute favorite for numerous reasons. Firstly, the atmosphere is incredibly vibrant; the buzz of conversation fills the air, and the staff, particularly Brie, are simply fabulous. Brie exceeded all expectations with her warm welcome and genuine kindness. During my initial visit, she graciously gave me a tour of the entire bar, a gesture similar to welcoming someone in ones home. But its not just the ambiance and hospitality that make this place stand out—its the food too. Prepare to have your taste buds tantalized by their mouthwatering offerings, especially the pretzels and divine macaroni and cheese. And for those looking for a unique date night experience, this bar has you covered. Instead of the usual awkward small talk, you can bond over ping-pong, indulge in some video games, and munch on popcorn for an added touch of whimsy. Its a haven of joy and entertainment. When youre seeking a place to enjoy a few drinks, its not just about whats in your glass—its about the people youre surrounded by and the experiences you share. In that regard, Tread Well Bar in the 60s of NYC goes above and beyond. Its not just a bar; its a community hub where kindness and camaraderie thrive. I couldnt recommend it more enthusiastically.
Wow- the lobster rolls are to die for! I’ve had both brunch and dinner here and would definitely recommend. Great atmosphere & friendly service.
Incredible experience. Service was tremendous, environment was a delight and the food and drinks were perfect. top notch throughout. highly recommend
A spacious bar with long tables for big gathering like birthdays, happy hour or just to grab food and drinks. The food and drink menu is pretty good. There’s lots of tv’s to watch all different sporting games. In the back area, you can play ping pong and arcade games. There’s a self serving popcorn machine that I can’t help stay away from.
Easy spot to meet small to large group gatherings. Dont forget about the help-your-self popcorn. Decent for watching games, also fun activities like ping pong, etc.
A nice place to get drinks. I enjoyed hanging with Coworkers to wind down and enjoy that happy hour mini keg.
Good beer selection, the nachos are delicious. Very slow table service so sit at the bar if its crowded.
Nicolas is spectacular, just amazing. He made sure we got everything we needed.
Best place to grab amazing food, cold beer and great times!!!! The service is that of a five star restaurant. Everything the waiter recommended was delicious and was at our table in record speed. I love the environment they have board games, ping pong tables and several game areas! Great place to relax after work, date night, family night or game night. Can’t wait to return!
Good beer and cocktail selection. Great place for early dinner or lunch with the kids. Friendly service and good food. Get the pretzel.
Very good drink selection, warm ambience.Ping pong and pinball games.Really fun apple cider and bourbon drink :) order it, you wont regret it.
Absolutely terrible experience. Stadd was rude, drinks were poor and experience was horrible! The staff was so traumatizing that I will be writing on every piece of social media to let people know how they criticize, ridicule and complain about their patrons. DO NOT COME HERE!
A favorite after work spot! The extensive beer list pairs well with their giant pretzel (it is a must have for me). Always a good time!
3 cheese Mac & Cheese was great , Service was good, photo booth was fun music Vibes were kool needs some Spanish tunes but hey whos complaining
Great atmosphere for team events or large groups. Casual atmosphere. Nice beer selection. Ping pong Fussball and the works.
Great selection of draft craft beer plus some bottles. Better than usual pub fare. Good for groups
The service/vibe was incredible. Camilla was my waitress and she was very diligent and professional. 5 stars all around. A great place to grab a cerveza and watch a game.P.s. I highly recommend the “the big shell” salad. It’s spicy, so make sure you’re up for the challenge.
Really good place to hang out. This place has a nice collection of beers. Has table tennis and foose ball table. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
The best salads and smoke chicken!
I recently visited Treadwell Park with my colleagues after work and had a fantastic experience! The selection of beers was impressive, catering to all tastes, and the ambiance was just perfect for unwinding. We particularly enjoyed the ping pong table and Jenga, which added a fun and interactive element to our evening. What stood out most was the exceptional service we received from the bartender, who was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made our experience more enjoyable. I highly recommend Treadwell Park to anyone looking for a great spot to relax, enjoy some excellent beers, and have a good time with friends or colleagues. Definitely a gem in the city!
So much fun went hear for my birthday. Great service. Our bartender Jean Carlos made are drinks to perfection
This place is way too expensive. I asked for a diet coke. $4. That is too much for a coke, but the crazy part wasnt just the price. They give you about a third of a can of coke. I bet they dont want to give you a double gulp worth of coke because it wouldnt look hip, but I would have appreciated much more coke. I will not return.
Super fun bar restaurant with games and free popcorn with great selection of drinks and delicious food. The only problem is that its too loud.
I got mix feelings about the place. I cant talk about the food quality because they didnt have at 1 am. The atmosphere was great but the drinks werent good.
Fun atmosphere, great food - get the nachos (theyre served up on individual chips so you get exactly the right amount of toppings with each bite)
We had a group of 8 for a bachelorette party stop by for some drinks and had an absolute blast! The folks that work there were extremely accommodating, approachable, and energetic! The atmosphere is awesome and the music kept us dancing until closing time. I have nothing bad to say about this bar.
Friendly staff, lots of students, reasonable prices - good spot for a beer or two
Great place to have a big group, there’s big picnic tables that you can squeeze into. The wings and large pretzel were very good.
Great beer selection.Buy the heady topper beer, #1 NE IPA on beer advocate! So good! The largest pretzel I have ever received, well worth the price.
Very good they give you what you want no problems
Super welcome addition to the neighborhood. big space, great beer list, games, and beer garden-like tables. clean and well staffed.
Bar is very big, great for big groups! Long tables and a game area. Individual waiters are very efficient but waiting at the bar for a drink takes forever. Food was decent. Recommend
Overpriced, overcrowded, unorganized seating, mediocre food, and no Thursday night football. Find another place if you want to actually watch sports.
A lot of space, good selection of beers and food, nice space outside. Not the right place to go if you want to have a conversation between friends because of the noice.
Nice place. Good environment. There was only one waiter for a large area with many community tables.
Pretty cool place. The employees are nice and they have some great beers on tap. Cheers.
There are few places where my three boys ages 14, 11, and 7 can all enjoy themselves together on the UES without getting bored. Treadwell is great for all ages. We played ping pong, pinball, and video games while enjoying the most giant of all giant pretzels and other treats for kids and grown ups alike. Carla provided excellent service and we look forward to many more fun weekend family-friendly afternoons together there going forward.
Good food, happy hour was ehhh. They only have one ping pong table now.
Amazing people work here, and the food/drinks/vibe are fantastic. Love this place!
Great selection of European/ German food and a wide selection of beer, but the place is usually so crowded and loud you cannot hear anything!
Pretzel was delicious. Highlight of the meal
Delicious sausages, Nice Beer and Really Good atmosphere
Good vibe and a great selection, but high prices and they charged my tab card without even asking me! Probably wont go again
Not a bad place. You can go hangout, watch games. Also they have good food and drinks. But the service is bad and the staff are Rude
Great vibes, good food, clean establishment. Looking forward to revisit especially for the popcorn. I love popcorn
Very lively ona Thursday night. Great food and helpful staff. Beer selection as always is fun
It can get super busy on weekends but during the week its pretty easy to get a table. They have a good menu and lots of games too. They have huge pretzels that are basically 3 loafs of bread.
Good vibes. Food was tasty too.
Great spot for after work turn up with a big group. Beer garden size tables and games in the back also a dope selection of international beers!
Outstanding beer selection and menu. Wonderful staff and spacious facilities. Love this place
It’s a place where you def go with friends an play games. I went on a Friday an It was calm, not crowded at all.
Fairly large place. Pick a table seat yourself at one of the large benches. We received menus with different prices on them. Slightly confusing but some of them were probably old menus. Ordered the giant soft pretzel with liptauer cheese ($13) as well as TWPs wurst sampler ($15). The pretzel was HUGE and delicious, still crunchy on the outside and super soft inside. It comes with two different dips--mustard and some sort of cheese dip (I preferred the cheese sauce). The wurst sampler comes with 3 different sausages, sauerkraut, and potato salad. Portions are decently large.
I had a great time at their Anti-Valentine’s party. Bree was an absolutely fantastic bartender! She was on-point and helpful the whole night. Definitely recommend stopping by here.
The mini keg is the best value in the city. Erica might be a god of waitressing
Love the community table set up. Warm, cozy, down to earth ambiance. Nice touches like rustic napkins and retro water jars. Food was delicious, stouts are rich (try Brooklyn Dark Chocolate Stout).
Staff was attentive and sweet, place was clean with ample seating, beer is fantastic, food so tasty but a bit over priced. But hey, its not only NYC, its the UES. So I suppose I should have expected that. TRY THE. BACON.
Great place to watch a sports game. Friendly bartenders. Popcorn to snack on while you can drink a beer from the large beer selection. Great use of space.
Young crowd, ping pong, foozeball, pinball, and board games. Very laid back atmosphere with great food and drinks
John was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Constantly checking in on us with the biggest smile. Recommend him any time you go in. One of the kindest servers I’ve had.
Excellent Service and great Food!.
Fantastic beer options, great food, and a ton of outdoor seating. A tad expensive.
